A railway museum is formed at Vicarstown, the MSR purchases some new engines, and the Great Depression begins.

Union Pacific No. 827 or 'Tina' is making her return to Sodor for the Great Railway Show. After what happened with Vinnie, Tina was chosen to compete instead. In this big railway competition, she will make new friends and rivals, and show what North American locomotives can really do.

When the Sodor & Mainland Railway extended their line to Great Waterton, three more engines were brought in to help with the passengers. The Two are of them being William and Asher, they both GNR Stirling 4-2-2 They pulled the express service between Great Waterton & Kirk Ronan, complete with their own luxury coaches. But years, Explorers find William in an abandoned mineshaft.

An small tank engine on the Mainland named Lukas is constantly mistreated by his controller, so he hatches a plan to sneak off to the Island of Sodor. Will he get to stay on the Sodor? Or will he be sent back to the Mainland?

An incident involving an express engine and a little shunter named Peony brings to light a growing corruption at the Top Sheds. The Arlesdale Miniature Railway and the Culdee Fell Mountain Railway are two of the most distinctive railways on the Island of Sodor, and both are home to collection of very distinctive little engines. Emily is well acquainted with both railways, and one winters day she is tasked with making a delivery from one railway to the other, though not without being delayed.
