Guest 2.0: Guess so lol. No, that's not what I meant. In 8x03, Oliver gets tranqed by Talia and he never sees it coming, despite the fact that he is standing right next to her and knows her, so he should see this betrayal coming.

Night

At the camp where the Hunters had set up, Thea sat around a fire, silently fuming over Oliver sending her back here. Feeling someone sit down next to her, she turned her head and saw it was Percy.

"Mind If I sit here? Annabeth and a Hunter started talking about some building from a zillion years ago and the Hunters don't exactly like me," Percy said and Thea shrugged.

"Free country…or I guess it isn't," Thea mused.

"I will try not to take that personally. You okay?" Percy asked and she shrugged.

"It's just been a while since Ollie's been overprotective brother. I don't get it, he was fine when I left Star City," Thea said her voice full of frustration.

"Well, things have changed," Percy said and she looked at him oddly.

"Because of Artemis?"

"Well, yeah, but also what happened over the last month. He fought the Nemean Lion and a hundred headed dragon. The only reason he survived both was with help from me, Annabeth, Barry and that Slade guy," Percy explained as Thea listened, absorbing what he was saying. "He learned that the world was a lot bigger and more dangerous than he thought. We all go through it when we learn we're demigods."

"Still, I think I've proved I can take care of myself," Thea said and Percy gave her a searching look. "What?"

"Nothing. Just kind of obvious you don't have any younger siblings," Percy said and she looked at him confused. "I have a younger brother. He's a general in Poseidon's army. He fought in the second Titan War. And I still worry about him. Every time he goes into battle, there's this knot in my stomach until I hear from him again. No matter how grown up you are, no matter how skilled you are, Oliver is gonna worry about you until the day he dies. It's just part of being a big brother."

Thea frowned, considering his words before they heard some commotion at the edge of the camp. The pair got up as they saw Oliver and Thalia had entered the camp. It didn't escape them that Talia was not with them.

"Looks like you're down one evil companion," Thea joked as she made her way over, Percy and Annabeth behind her.

"What happened?" Annabeth asked.

"China White. She attacked us," Thalia said before tossing Annabeth her cap. "We got that off her body."

"While Thalia and I were busy with her, Talia took off, with the map," Oliver said disgruntled.

"Luckily, we know where she's headed," Thalia said before looking over at Oliver. "We tried things your way Oliver. Now, let me show you how we do things in the Hunters."

At a fast food restaurant, Barry and Patty sat at a table. A map of Ohio was set on the table between them, certain areas marked with a pen.

"These are all the areas where people have spotted what they describe as a big bear standing on two legs that can lift a deer with one hand," Patty said as she drew a line, connecting the spots where the sightings had happened.

"There's a trail," Barry noted and Patty nodded.

"Our friend is still just an animal, ruled by instincts. It's going to head into the next local area where it can get something to satisfy its appetite. Which gives us the advantage. Because we can set a trap for it," Patty said with a gleam in her eye that reminded Barry a little of Annabeth.

Nanda Parbat, next day

Morning

On top of the mountain where he had first fought Ra's al Ghul, Oliver pulled himself over the ledge. Once he was on the mountain, he reached down, offering a hand to Thea.

"I thought you said this was the hard part," Thea joked as he helped her over the ledge.

"Don't get cocky," Oliver warned her as Percy and Annabeth joined the siblings at the top.

"Okay, seriously, what are you, a superhuman? I can't believe you did that before," Percy gasped as he collapsed face first onto the mountain.

"No, but this mountain wasn't much of a challenge after climbing the mountains on Lian Yu daily for the better part of five years," Oliver said as he eyed Percy concerned. "You okay?"

"Curse just takes a lot out of me, you know," Percy said breathlessly.

"Are you gonna be up to this?" Oliver asked pointblank.

"Yeah, I'll be fine," Percy said as he pushed himself up. "Besides, you might need me up there."

Oliver eyed him for a second before nodding. From what he had seen of Percy's powers, exhausted or not, Percy would be an asset in this.

Later, the group of four found he entrance of the tomb. However, Oliver noticed it had already been opened when his hair stood on end.

"We're not alone," Oliver said.

The four turned around as the Thanatos Guild emerged, dragging along a restrained Talia.

"It appears this day is not going as either of us had hoped," Talia told her former student.

"Surrender your weapons," Athena ordered arrogantly but none of them complied.

"And why would we do that? You're outnumbered," Thea said with a smirk.

"You assumed we'd come alone. To quote an old friend of mine, assumption is the mother of all failures," Oliver said.

Suddenly, a silver arrow flew out, hitting Talia's restraints and freeing her. Talia immediately struck the assassin nearest to her as several more silver arrows were fired. As The Thanatos Guild defended themselves, Thalia and the Hunters moved in and Percy created a water whip from the water in the air, striking a few assassins with it.

In the chaos, Talia had slipped into the tomb, Oliver and Thea following after her.

"Talia," Oliver called out roughly.

"It would be wise to put our personal issues aside for the moment, lest you want Athena to get her hands on the sword," Talia pointed out.

As much as Oliver hated to admit it, Talia was right. Finding the sword was priority right now. He gave a jerky nod and Talia grabbed a torch, lighting it as the trio walked down the stairs.

At the end of the stairs was a room with what looked like a coffin. Talia placed the burning torched in another unlit one and, with sparks, all the torches came alight. The trio walked over to the coffin and Talia read the engraving.

"'To survive death, you must embrace it'," she read, looking confused.

"Well, how do you embrace death?" Oliver asked and Thea and Talia looked over at him. "Coffin."

Together, the trio pushed open the coffin. But there was no body, as the inside revealed a hidden staircase.

"Great, more stairs," Thea said dryly.

Outside the tomb, the battle was complete chaos. An assassin tried to strike Percy in the chest with his sword but, to his shock, the sword bounced off Percy's chest. Percy elbowed the assassin, disarming him and taking his sword. Percy whirled around, striking the assassin in the temple with the hilt of his sword. The assassin was knocked out cold as Percy turned to cross blades with another.

Thalia and Annabeth stood back to back, each engaging a separate assassin when Annabeth saw Athena get away, sneaking down the entrance of the tomb.

Back inside the tomb, Oliver, Thea and Talia had reached the bottom of the steps. They were standing on a ledge with a rope dangling from the ceiling, leading to a lower leave, which contained a floor with square tiles leading to a doorway.

"Evil assassins first," Thea quipped and Talia shot her a look.

"I'll go first," Oliver said forcibly as he stepped forward. "We don't have time to fight among ourselves."

Oliver slide down the rope, landing on the lower level. As he walked forward, he noticed the symbol of a phoenix engraved on the wall above the doorway. Thea and Talia slide down the rope and Talia noticed the phoenix as well.

"The Crypt must be though there," Oliver said.

"Alright, let's go," Thea said, stepping forward.

However, as Thea stepped on one of the tiles, it slide down and Oliver's dangerous senses went off. He grabbed Thea by the arm, yanking her back and saving her from being burned to a crisp as two streams of fire burst from the walls.

"Thanks," Thea said weakly as the flames subsides.

Talia walked forward as she noticed Arabic writing in front of the tiles.

"'All beings burn, but a Phoenix rises from the ashes'," she read and Thea noticed that some of the tiles had a phoenix imprinted on them.

"I think we need to use the phoenix tiles to get across," Thea said as she gestured to them.

Talia suddenly jumped, landing on one of the phoenix tiles before jumping to another. By the time Oliver and Thea started their way across, Talia had already made it and rushed through the doorway. As they were about to the end, Oliver, being careful not to slip off the phoenix tile, whirled around and caught an arrow, stopping it inches from his face. He and Thea looked up to see Athena lower her bow, grabbing the rope and starting to slide down.

"Hold her off, I'll get Talia!" Thea shouted.

"Thea-" Oliver started but Thea had already run off.

Talia entered the tomb, looking around in a bit of awe. And, on a display at the end, she saw it: Al-Fatih's sword.

It had a golden hilt that was about a foot and a half long with a two foot long blade made of black steel. Talia picked it up with shaking hands when a voice called out behind her.

"Talia," Talia whirled around to see Thea standing in the doorway.

"You are too late. It's mine now," Talia said simply.

"I don't think so," Thea said, drawing a sword from a nearby display. "As heir to the Demon, I have the right to challenge you to combat."

"You wish to challenge me?" Talia asked sounding amused. "Very well, I accept. I hope you prove to be a worthy opponent."

The two then rushed each other, their weapons clashing against each other.

Outside the crypt, Oliver blocked Athena's sword with his bow before delivering a kick to her abdomen. Athena tried to strike him with her sword but he grabbed her, whirling around and throwing her back. Athena stumbled back, landing on one of the trapped tiles. She jumped back to a phoenix tile, avoiding the flames before rushing back to continue the fight once they had subsided.

Thea and Talia were a whirl of movement as they clashed swords before Talia suddenly grabbed Thea's hand, freezing her as she slashed Thea across the abdomen. Thea jumped back, holding her wounded abdomen as Talia spoke.

"Your brother trained you well. Pity the tools he learned, he learned from me," Talia said matter of factly.

"Less talking, more fighting," Thea sneered as she brought her sword up against Talia's once more.

As Athena attempted to strike him, Oliver grabbed her arm and threw her to the floor once more. As she got up, prepared to continue the fight, she gasped as the sound of metal piercing flash was heard. She and Oliver stared down at the sword that had burst from her chest. Behind her, Annabeth appeared as she removed her invisibility cap.

"You mock my mother by calling yourself by her name," Annabeth said as she yanked the sword out and Athena fell to her knees. "Your insult ends now."

Athena fell to her side, the light leaving her eyes as Oliver and Annabeth stared down at her.

Back in the crypt, Talia kicked Thea's legs, knocking them out from under her. Thea fell, landing against a pillar as Talia aimed the black sword at Thea's neck.

"You were a fool to think you could defeat me," Talia said arrogantly as Thea spotted a chain nearby.

"Actually, you're right where I want you," Thea said.

Thea then grabbed the chain and rushed forward as Oliver entered the crypt. Thea dodged Talia's strike and wrapped the chain around Talia's neck. She yanked, causing it to tighten around Talia's neck just enough for Talia to understand the severity of the situation.

"Do you yield?" Thea demanded.

For a moment, it seemed like Talia would refuse, preferring death to surrender. Then-

"I yield," Talia said lowly, realizing she was beaten.

Thea let go, breathing hard as she and Oliver exchanged a look. It was over.

In the woods near a park, the Minotaur walked. His sense of smell let him know there was a group of deer nearby. It was time to eat.

As it walked, it smelled something else. A scent much more appetizing than deer. Demigods. Two of them, and they were close.

No sooner had the Minotaur come to this realization than it heard a snap above. It looked up as two logs on opposite sides of it came crashing towards him. With a roar, it used its arms to stop the logs. It was at this point that Barry sped over, intending on stabbing the beast with his dagger. However, the Minotaur tried to strike Barry but the speedster jumped, landing a few feet behind him as the Minotaur walked out, the logs slamming against each other.

"This isn't gonna be like last time, you overgrown cow," Barry said as he twirled his dagger.

This seemed to enrage the Minotaur, as it gave what seemed to amount to a loud roar. It rushed Barry as Barry sped over, trying to stab it in the chest with his dagger. The Minotaur tried to strike him with his hand but Barry sped over out of the way.

He had underestimated it once and it had almost killed him. He wouldn't make the same mistake twice.

As the Minotaur came rushing towards him, Barry sped out of the way before running around in a circle. After building up a charge, he picked up a lightning bolt and threw it at the beast. It hit it in the chest and it roared in pain before angrily grabbing Barry and throwing him into some trees. As he groaned, Patty was suddenly by his side.

"That usually works," he said dazed.

"On humans. Obviously not on him," Patty said as she looked at the hulking monster approaching. "Plan B then?"

"Plan B," Barry agreed as he got to his feet.

Patty pulled something out of her jacket and threw it. It landed in front of the Minotaur and it looked down. A bright flash of light went off and it wailed as it became temporarily blind. Barry rushed forward, intending on ending it but even blind, the Minotaur had its hearing. It reached out, grabbing him by the neck in a vice like grip. Gasping, Barry vibrated his body until he phased through the Minotaur's hand. Taking advantage of its surprise, Barry stabbed it in the heart with his dagger. It wailed as Barry twisted the knife. With one last wail, the Minotaur turned into dust that then faded from view.

Barry fell to the ground, gasping for breath as he tried to process what had just happened. Patty rushed to his side, kneeling down next to him.

"You okay?" Patty asked in concern.

"I think so," Barry said still in a little disbelief. "I killed the Minotaur."

"Yeah. You did it," Patty said with a smile.

"No," Barry said as he looked over at Patty. "We did it."

Afternoon

After the Thanatos Guild had been dealt with and Talia restrained, Thea had given the sword to her brother. Annabeth was currently examining it as Thea read Al-Fatih's journal.

"So what does it say?" Oliver asked.

"Well, Thalia was right; Al-Fatih was a demigod. It says that the sword was a gift from his father, Hades," Thea said and Percy rolled his eyes.

"So the son of god of the Underworld founded a league of Assassins. Color me shocked," Percy said dryly.

"This sword is unlike anything I've ever seen. Its…Nico's sword doesn't even compare," Annabeth muttered.

"Well, according to this, the sword was made from a special metal found only in the Underworld and blessed by Ares so that it would clash against mortal weapons and could harm them if needed. But that's not the interesting part," Thea said and they gave her their undivided attention. "If I'm reading this right, Al-Fatih was warned by Apollo, god of Prophecy, that the sword would play a role in a Crisis that would decide the fate of mortals and gods alike. According to Apollo, the Titan Lord would rise to have his revenge on the gods and demigods who had bested him."

"Titan Lord? You're sure that's the exact translation?" Annabeth asked sharply.

"Yeah, it's a pretty easy thing to read," Thea said as she and Oliver noticed how Percy had paled and Thalia looked horrified.

"What's going on? What aren't you saying?" Oliver demanded.

"I thought we'd beaten him," Thalia muttered, seeming to ignore Oliver.

"We did. Hermes told me that he was hopefully spread so far that he'd never reform…but I guess we were kidding ourselves," Percy said, his face grim.

"Who? What are you talking about?" Oliver demanded.

"Kronos," Annabeth said as he looked at her. "If Thea is reading that right…the enemy we will face is Kronos."

"I thought you killed Kronos three years ago," Oliver said after a moment.

"You can't kill a Titan. They're like monsters: You can defeat them, but they'll come back," Thalia said lowly. "Luke died for nothing."

"Only if we let Kronos win now," Percy said pointedly.

It was silent for a moment before there was movement behind them. The five turned as Talia, restrained by some Hunters, was led over.

"We are ready to leave," a Hunter told Thalia, who nodded.

"I hate to leave you guys like this, but I have to get going," Thalia said apologetically, turning towards Annabeth and Percy. "If you two die out there, I'll kill you."

"Goes both ways Pinecone Face," Percy said and Thalia managed a smile.

"Take care Kelp Head," Thalia said before hugging him. "I'm sorry I can't go with you guys."

"I think we'll manage," Annabeth said as she hugged Thalia once she had let Percy go. "If we all survive this, let's go for some burgers."

"Sounds like a plan," Thalia smiled before looking over at Oliver. "It was an honor to fight alongside the son of Artemis."

"The honor was mine," Oliver said simply.

Thalia simply nodded before turning to her Hunters, her eyes hardening as she looked at Talia.

"Don't even think about trying anything," Thalia snapped.

"I have no intention of it. I am ready to pay for what I have done," Talia said before turning to Oliver. "I am truly sorry for all the pain I have caused you Oliver. I hope one day, you can forgive me."

Oliver said nothing as Thalia and the Hunters led her away. It was silent for a few moments before Thea spoke.

"I'm sorry you guys didn't get the answers you were hoping for," Thea said and they looked at her. "So, this Luke guy, Kronos killed him?"

"Sort of. Luke sacrificed himself to stop him," Annabeth explained.

From the look on Percy's face, it was clear there was more to the story than that. But now wasn't the time or place.

"So, you're gonna go up against a Titan," Thea said as she looked at her brother. "You're gonna need all the help you can get Ollie."

"I think I'm good on help. I have Barry. I have Kara. Believe it or not, I have Slade," Oliver said and Thea grimaced.

"Can't say I'll ever forgive him for what he did to Mom…but as long as he's got your back, I guess he's okay," Thea said begrudgingly.

"Forgiveness is a powerful thing, Thea Queen," the four of them whirled around to see The Monitor standing behind them.

"Let me guess, Mar Novu?" Thea said sarcastically and he smirked.

"You have a wisdom beyond your years," Novu said as the sword vanished from Annabeth's hands and appeared in his. "You have done well, all of you."

"Kronos, that's who you've been preparing us to face," Annabeth said and he simply nodded. "So Luke died for nothing."

"On the contrary, Luke Castellan's sacrifice is why you stand a chance. Kronos is still weak from his defeat three years earlier. It is why you must act now in order to prepare for him," Novu said ominously.

Before any of them could ask what he meant, there was a bright light that blinded all four of them and they knew no more.

Ohio

Same time

In the park near where they had fought the Minotaur, Barry and Patty sat on a park bench, eating some hotdogs they had bought from a vender.

"So…what now? Will you head back to Central City?" Patty asked as she looked over at Barry.

"I don't think so. At least not yet," Barry said after a moment. "I am not the man I was, the man you fell in love with. I'm trying to find him, and until I do, I can't go back."

Patty seemed to be considering his words until she suddenly tensed, to Barry's confusion.

"Don't react, but I think someone's watching us," Patty said and Barry fought to keep his face blank and his body relaxed. "Nine o'clock, man in a black coat."

From the corner of his eye, Barry could see the man in the coat. He seemed to be staring in their direction.

"Okay, we get up and start walking in the opposite direction. Don't react," Barry ordered.

Patty nodded and they both rose from the bench. Tossing their unfinished food in a nearby trashcan, they began making their way out of the park. Patty discreetly looked over her shoulder and did a double take.

"Barry, he's gone," Patty said, her eyes looking wildly for the man but finding no sign of him.

"Impressive," Barry and Patty started as the man in the coat appeared in front of them. "You noticed me almost immediately. I am impressed daughter of Athena."

"Who the Hell are you?" Barry asked as the man lowered his hood.

It was a man with blue eyes and greying brown hair. He reminded Barry a little of Chiron.

"I am Morpheus, god of sleep. And I come with a message from your mother, son of Aphrodite," he said and Barry started.

"My mother?" Barry repeated and Morpheus nodded.

"I owe her a favor, she said this would make us even," he explained.

"What message?" Patty asked wearily and Morpheus smirked.

"Sleep," he said simply.

Immediately, Barry swayed on his feet before falling on his back. He heard Patty call his name before it all went black.

So, with Thalia and the Hunters here, the Thanatos Guild plot went a lot easier. And rather than meeting her end by falling ceiling, I thought it was more fitting than Athena die by Annabeth's hand.

Hope I did okay with the Minotaur fight scenes. I just can't see the fight lasting long, because Barry would know not to waste time.

Yes, Kronos will be the main villain of Crisis. The Last Olympian kind of left Kronos' fate up in the air on what happened to him after Luke stabbed himself and Crisis seems like a thing Kronos would be responsible for.

Morpheus would be played by Joaquin Phoenix. Thank you to Aragorn II Elessar for his help with the casting.
