OMG! WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN?!
CHAPTER 21 - Knowing Deep Down
Temari's mouth slowly widened, completely in shock. She felt her blood drop its temperature, she then folded the letter back up quickly and shoved it into her pocket. She threw her bag violently into the locker, slamming the door and swung her own school bag atop her shoulders. She didn't even bother looking at Hinata, even though she knew damn well that she was in on it too.
Hinata was typing vigorously into her phone with panicked and cold hands.
'TEN TEN' - Hinata
'EMERGENCY' - Hinata
'ANSWER NOW'- Hinata
'WE PUT THE LETTER IN TEMARI'S LOCKER BY ACCIDENT!' - Hinata
"And that class, is how you cut the wood precisely!" Ebisu Sensai would proudly tell his class, sharpening his knife.
Ten Ten bit her bottom lip, shaking her leg as she held the piece of wood in her hands along with the knife while she felt her phone desperately vibrate. She felt a sweat drop from her forehead, she then raised her hand. "Ebisu Sensai! May I use the bathroom?"
Ebisu turned around, pushing his glasses up with his index finger. "Fine! But make it quick."
Ten Ten nodded, rushing into the hallway and took her phone out, staring at the illuminating screen with completely widened eyes. She immediately used her thumbs to respond a reaction.
'WHAT? HOW DID THAT EVEN HAPPEN?' - Ten Ten
'WE NEED TO TEXT SHIKAMARU NOW OR ELSE! WHO KNOWS HWAT COULD HAPPN?' - Ten Ten
Her hands were completely shaken up, causing some words of her message to look scrabbled. However, she stopped in the middle of the hallway to think of where the hell Shikamaru could be? She then scanned across each classroom window while texting the group chat with the girls excluding Temari as well as separately texting the guys including Shikamaru, who was not answering her texts at all.
'Guys, this is bad. Do any of you guys know where Shikamaru is?' - Ten Ten
'Wait why?' - Sakura
'I think he's with Naruto and Neji in some class Idk.' - Ino
'We accidentally put the letter in Temari's locker' - Hinata
'OMFG WTF ARE YOU SERIOUS' - Sakura
'WHAT THE HELL LOOK WHAT YOU DID BILLBOARD BROW' - Ino
'GUYS! Come on where the hell is he?!' - Ten Ten
'I think they may be in graphic design.' - Hinata
Ten Ten began to run to the hallway with a bunch of computer tech classes, scanning through the rooms to see if any of them held Neji, Naruto, or Shikamaru. Sakura felt immense guilt. Ino was screaming inside as the situation began to spiral. And Hinata was looking at the messages and texting her cousin and her crush while she was jogging.
"LOOK WHAT I MADE NEJI!" Naruto shouted, grabbing Neji by the shoulder and shaking him to get his attention. On the screen, was an inappropriate drawing of a penis in which Neji rolled his shoulder to get away from his grip and continued to stare at a screen in front of Shikamaru, helping him design a serious piece of art.
Behind Naruto, came Kurenai Sensai. "Naruto! Do you want another detention?"
Naruto shrank, looking up at his teacher. "N-No sensai."
"Then knock it off!" She shouted.
Neji and Shikamaru have turned off their notifications on their phones to focus on their project. They both then decided to take a break, in which the first thing they did was pick up their phones to scan through all the messages. Messages such as...
'Where's Shikamaru?!'
'Shikamaru? Answer your phone, NOW!'
'Neji, are you with Shikamaru? If so, where are you guys?'
'SHIKAMARU WE PUT IT IN THE WRONG LOCKER. IT WAS TEMARI'S'
The intelligent guys looked up at each other, both extremely serious. Naruto pushed against his table, rolling his chair back to see his friends' facial expressions.
"Jeez, what happened?"
Ten Ten continued to scan, reaching the end of the hallway. 'Damn! Maybe they aren't in this class right now!' She thought to herself. That was until she turned around, seeing a Temari with an angry body language march into a specific classroom. Ten Ten felt like her heart had just stopped, in which everything felt like slow motion as she full-on ran towards the direction of the classroom Temari just marched into.
'Oh no.. fuck!' Ten Ten thought to herself.
Temari walked in aggressively, causing all the students in the class to look up at her. Kurenai Sensei approached Temari cautiously. "May I help you?"
Temari ignored her, making a trail to Shikamaru, who had just looked up from his phone and acknowledged every single detail that had just happened in the last hour or two. Without a warning, Temari slapped him across the face, hard.
"Excuse me!" Kurenai Sensei shouted out.
Temari grabbed Shikamaru by the collar with one hand, and the other with the paper. "What the fuck are you trying to tell me? Shikamaru Nara, let me tell you something right now. I don't give a fuck if you fucking like me or not. I heard what you said the first time about Tayuya, and that's when I fucking left. Now you want to declare a treaty with me by giving me some stupid fucking letter? Do I need to spell it out for you? I DON'T GIVE A FUCK."
Shikamaru was speechless, he couldn't say anything. Neji, Naruto, and the rest of the class were also in shock, totally confused with what was going on.
Ten Ten had just came in, noticing that the outburst had already started. "T-T-Temari..."
"So go ahead.." She murmured close to his face. "SO GO AHEAD! And go back to a cheating ass whore who didn't feel jack shit for you in the first place and stay the hell out of my life."
Temari then let go, loosening up her grip in which he landed back into his chair. She then turned to the girl, smiling with malice, wanting to hide her visible pain with sarcasm. "Ten Ten! Look what he did!" She would show her the paper in her hands, bringing it up to the brunette's face. "He wanted to write me a whole goodbye letter saying he loved someone else even when he admitted to liking me! Isn't this guy fucking crazy or what?!"
Ten Ten stared at her, not being able to compose her thoughts correctly. "I-I know, Temari."
The blonde looked at Ten Ten. She realized Ten Ten had an expression that seemed as if she did something wrong. She then turned to Shikamaru. Before running out the classroom, she stared at Ten Ten, in which the brunette caught her red and watery eyes. In a flash, Temari was out the classroom, leaving the whole room quiet, confused, shocked, and awkward.
Ten Ten looked to the guys in complete shame and shock. Shikamaru had a disturbed look on his face. And Neji and Naruto also became disturbed as they found out why the girls had been texting them nonstop. At the point, even when Neji and Naruto didn't do anything directly wrong, they still felt guilty. It was going to be a hard day.
Shikamaru walked into his dorm room, and to his luck, all his roommates were there. Just by the stares, he was unfortunately able to comprehend all his feelings inside, in which he broke down right in front of them, submerging himself into his bed. The rest of them just stared at him, in which Naruto began to tip toe to the door to get out of the situation, until Sasuke pulled him by the shirt and forced him to stay.
Ten Ten also came into the room, seeing Sakura cry with the other girls trying to comfort her. Ten Ten went to Sakura, hugging her over the shoulders. Second handedly, Sakura went through the most grief from the accidental situation. Considering, she did cause it.
Temari was sitting on her balcony, looking up at the sky. It seemed just like the mall day again, where the sky suspected tension and it began to rain. As she felt the first raindrop on her cheek, she let the water flow down. When the rain was completely falling, soaking up her clothes, she let out an ugly cry.
Gaara did nothing except stare at her as she was completely balling her eyes out. He sat on the couch, sipping out of his cup of tea. As the rain got harder, he got up from his seat while sipping, walking back to his room. No one knew except him...
that he was going to find out the situation, and make whoever was responsible pay.
