A/N: Hey everyone, not a chapter, sorry :(

I just wanted to make a brief notice about character summaries, relationships, what's holding me back lately from submitting in my chapters or creating new chapters, etc.

First off, I would just like to remind everyone that this is a Rated M fanfic. After rereading, I have noticed that this overall gives off more of a teen setting which considering it is high school, it technically should. However, there definitely will be smut scenes which can cause people to become uncomfortable. No worries, since these scenes are more to emphasis relationships between people rather than add to the plot. Therefore, these scenes are more 'optional' and can be skipped without missing any important details in the plot.

Second, this pandemic definitely has caused teachers to rush a bunch of work in a certain amount of time, and as a student, I am obliged to it. I currently have the most recent chapter ready for update, but I still have to think of ways to keep this story 'nondraggish.' If you catch my drift :)

Now on the topic of relationships and people in general, I think I would like to start off with Naruto.

We all know it's pretty canon for Naruto to jump in immediately to help out a friend, but in this story, it seems that he's more forced to than willing. I did this to show that Naruto definitely has some type of issues that can cause him to get carried away if 'that bad' of a situation ever happened to a friend. Therefore, we can assume Naruto has been told to cut off a little in order to maintain himself. Of course, Naruto is a friend who would do anything for another, in this case, Shikamaru, but Naruto has progressively learned to not get involved in situations that aren't exactly his. Also, he usually can tell when drama will help itself, so that's a plus.

Out of the guys, Shikamaru, Neji, and Sasuke are the sharpest ones (clearly, excluding Gaara). It can be noticed that Neji is more of a bystander than someone who tries to sway the drama aside. Neji is more of a guidance type of guy. If one were to come to him for advice, he would certainly give. However, he does not fight for anyone UNLESS you have a strong relationship with him. Like Hinata, that is his blood, he would do so for her, but if it was Temari, probably not. So, why are Shikamaru and Sasuke displayed together when Neji technically categorizes into the same mindset? Because Shikamaru and Sasuke related to each other in terms of relationships more than Neji is. Neji is a very independent person, and prioritizes school than a relationship that is most likely not going to last. On the other hand, Sasuke has been with Sakura for a few years, meaning he has experience, enough to give to Shikamaru. And ever since Shikamaru and Temari got together, they will just become closer. In terms of jumping in for someone, Sasuke practically has nothing to lose, and would do so in a heartbeat.

Sasori, Deidara, and Nagato are still within development. Other than that, that is all.
