Sundays were a well-known day for celebrating with your people. Usually, friends and family.

However, today Katherine Pierce, or Katerina Petrova, as her partner preferred, would spend the sun-bathed hours with her man.

And him alone.

The wrecker of her plans, the one who understood her with just one look, the gentleman that made her feel as sweet as maple syrup, only never forgetting her true nature was dangerous as poisoned apples.

With that lazy devilish train of thought and looking for poisoning herself and Elijah with lust, Katherine turned to palm the other side of the mattress.

Nothing.

What was Elijah doing out of bed at-

Her glance at the alarm clock on the beside table, told her it was almost 10AM.

Ungodly hour to be up and about on Sunday.

Ruffling and swinging her legs out of the blankets' cocoon, Katherine threw a long satin robe on her back, covering her black lacy nightgown and walked down the corridor, descending the stairs of their recently refurnitured townhouse.

Hearing cutlery sounds coming from her left, Katherine padded barefoot into the kitchen, being blessed with the oh-so domestic view of Elijah Mikaelson only in his sleeping bottoms, coordinating two frying pans on the stove, while the coffee machine ran on the side, and fruits laid on the chopping board in perfect asymmetric cubes.

Katherine was aware he probably had heard her coming down the ladder, but the brunette woman chose to lean by the threshold, crossing her arms in front of her chest and tilting her curly head, a smile adorning her features and she contemplated the sight.

Elijah had an aristocratic nose, plane chest, six pack, divine, masculine forearms, an old world's charming demeanor, as well as impeccable hair, but what people normally didn't know about him and that had made Katherine crazy as soon as she discovered it – no, it wasn't Elijah's cock, even though that one was delightful to look at as well – in fact, his ass.

God, he had an amazing piece of bun.

And the 500 year-old vampire enjoyed grabbing it any chance she got. In fact, Katherine was very much tempted to do it now-

"I'm under impression, I'm being analyzed such as a museum piece," Elijah's sultry accent brough the room to life, as he turned off the stove, moving the contents of the skillets into an awaiting porcelain bowl.

Katherine shrugged in false nonchalance "Let's be honest, honey, you're as old as any museum exhibition,"

The man's scandalized face made Kat chuckle.

"What do we have here?" she questioned letting her arms down as she made her way to his side, observing the bacon and eggs he had so dutifully prepared her.

It wasn't a rule per say, them eating human breakfast, although Elijah seemed to cherish these kinds of habits, at least in special occasions, or simply tranquil Sunday mornings, such as this.

"Well," he started moving the food-filled bowls aside as well as the chopped fruitage "I have the meal I prepared myself as well as for my, oh-so lovely partner,"

Katherine smiled with his subtle mockery, her hand about to grab a bacon' slice when Elijah moved the treat further away from her reach.

"But, she's being mean to me, so I guess I'll have to sulk and eat alone in the dinning room,"

The woman's hand came to rest on his bicep then.

"And what can she do to remedy such ill behavior towards such a kind Sir?" Katherine tried hiding the smirk and the humor in their exchange as her fingers lightly traced patterns in his upper bare chest.

It was time for the Original to smile knowingly.

"I can think of a thing or two…" his whisper in her ear made Katherine shiver in anticipation and excitement, her mouth soon finding Elijah's as the hungry vampire engrossed his hand into her hair, pulling her head back as his lips descended the column of the vampiress' neck.

Feminine legs promptly wrapped themselves around his waist as he moved his lover to the kitchen counter, never stopping his administrations on her jaw, nibling on her lip, before invading her mouth with his hungry togue, taking long sighs, and delightful moans from his Katerina.

And it was when Elijah finally got to throw the damned robe she was wearing to the floor and Katherine started toe off his slacksm that a door opening sound was heard, followed by an

"Ew! We eat there!"

"Nice!"

Family was a blessing.

Not Elijah's though.

Talk about worst timing ever.

The brunette tall man moved away from Kat like she was burning him – in a way she was indeed – glaring at the kitchen door as Kol and Rebekah stood by the arch, the later with her arms crossed, a deep frown on her previously angelic face.

"No, we don't," Katherine pointed out, jumping off the marble counter and fetching her robe, adjusting in back on her frame, but not lacing it. "me and Elijah do, because we live here… alone,"

"Whatever," Rebekah said as she sashayed further into the room, Kol already in front of Katherine, taking her hand into his

"Mademoiselle," he mocked kissing the back of his supposedly sister in law's palm.

"Be careful, Kol" Rebekah chimed "have you noticed where that hand was?'

Instantly, Kol lost his easygoing demeanor, glaring at both his brother and his family's old feud.

"How did you get into my house anyway?" Katherine quipped as she unapologetically wiped her hand on her black robe.

"He copied Elijah's key," Rebekah enlightened as she propped herself on a bar stool, fetching a fork nearby and digging into the eggs her brother had made for him and Katherine not so long ago.

"Come again?" the older brother raised a brow at his younger siblings.

Kol sighed in false regret and moved to sit by his sister. Acting as if they haven't just violated their older brother's privacy, thing he valued very much so.

"We should've gone for the cornea recognition security, instead of usual keys," Katherine mumbled to Elijah as she passed him by to reach the refrigerator.

A ghost of a smile danced in his features as he too picked up a fork and started serving himself of his breakfast.

"I like the decorations, brother," Rebekah started, looking around her to the remodeled house after munching on food "you have our family's good taste," she glanced Katherine up and down, while the brunette woman served herself of green juice, with the white fridge light illuminating her olive skin. "in almost every aspect," the disdain evident in her thick accented voice.

"In fact, it was Katerina who decorated," he brought up "she asked for my input in some matters, yes although she chose everything, from tapestry, to color scheme," the pure adoration in her brother's voice almost made Rebekah throw up her already ingested food.

Why Elijah had to be so infatuated with Katherine?

It was fact even Klaus had accepted the hoe, but in Bekah's mind, she was still a slut, only waiting for the right opportunity to strike and destroy their family, or even worse, at the first road block she would abandon Elijah and the vampire would never be the same after such heartbreak.

"Apparently, she only had good taste in house decorations, because we all know she could've chosen a nicer sibling," Kol motioned at himself, winking at the only brunette woman present.

"You're certainly not talking about yourself, mate," Klaus voice roared inside the well-lit kitchen as he and Caroline made their beeline to the counter, Klaus kissing the side of Rebekah's head, and ignoring Kol, while Caroline waved everyone hello.

"Hey, no kissing me?" the younger brother protested with a comical pout, as Klaus made himself home, serving himself and Caroline of fresh brewed coffee.

"Rebekah's right though, love, you created a lovely abode,"

"And that's the closest thing you'll get of a compliment coming from Klaus Mikaelson," Sage announced as she and Finn entered the scene.

Elijah turned his head to face Katherine, as if saying: who invited them.

As if this family needed invitation.

"And the Wicked Witch of the West if here," Rebekah greeted with a fake smile.

The sentiment of the blonde sister towards Sage and Katherine was pretty much the same.

Both brunette and redhead had reached a condescending verdict where the younger Original was probably jealous, since she wasn't too fond of Caroline either, but avoided speaking up about it, because contrary to Finn and Elijah, Niklaus wasn't one to tolerate any mean comments regarding his queen.

Sage smiled wickedly; green eyes gleaming as she glanced at Katherine that shot back a similar look.

"I came visiting my friend, the Evil Queen," Finn's wife justified pointing to Katherine, as the elder Original sibling fetched him and his wife drinks and food, to break their fast.

Katherine snicked with that as Rebekah rolled her blue orbs at both women complicity.

"You know, you could be Cruella or Maleficent, if you weren't so-"

"Sage," Finn put a stop to an scaling argument as he handed the love of his life a cup of coffee and a plate with fruits.

"I'm not a witch, you're mistaking me for Freya, your favorite in-law," Bekah looked at Sage.

"Freya is everybody's favorite," Caroline offered and most of the group nodded their agreement.

"And apparently, the only one with manners," Katherine shot out there, receiving a pleading look from Elijah. Please don't engage them.

"You see, big brother and Kitty Kat were getting at it when Bekah and I arrived," Kol chimed after a few peaceful moments of silence, which made Elijah almost choke on his drink, Finn to almost have a stroke, and Caroline to be so flushed it could be mistaken for sunburn.

"On the counter," Kol continued.

"Gross!" Caroline scrinhed her nose.

"As if you don't do it at the manor, Carebear,"

Klaus grinned, feeling a certain pride in the now known information.

"What's with you and counters?" Rebekah exclaimed "we eat in those,"

"You're lucky we weren't on the dinner table," Katherine shot leaning forward exposing her cleavage, a devilish gleam in her doe eyes. "Oh!" she looked over her shoulder into Elijah's eyes that was by the stove, with Klaus by his side, both sipping from coffee mugs. "we already covered that, haven't we, darling?"

"That's it!" the younger sister announced getting up from the stool "I'm never eating in this house, where every surface is used for sex," she raised her hands in exasperation "In fact, I'm never coming back here,"

Turning around, passing between Sage and Finn, Rebekah vanished into the front door' direction and only a heartbeat later, the heavy oak door was slammed back into its arch.

The remaining group stared among themselves.

"Well… do I need to see the rest of you out?" Elijah prompted extending his palm in the corridor's direction.

Sage and Finn, followed by Klaus and Caroline left the townhouse, bidding the hosts their goodbyes, while Kol remained.

"What?" he quipped when Katherine motioned at him with raised eyebrows.

"Aren't you, I don't know, leaving?"

"You're cleverer than not understanding cues brother,"

Kol still didn't move from his seat, sinking his fork into the scrambled eggs' bowl.

"Okay then," Katherine announced, while she glued herself into Elijah's body, her arms draped around his nape, loud, messy kisses, mixed with exacerbated moans, and when Kol still wasn't bulging, Kat got rid of Elijah's pants, exposing his bottom to his younger sibling.

The sound of spiled drink was followed by Kol disgusted voice.

"You two are just unnecessary, really, good day," was the last of him, as he left the couple finally alone.

"I love you, but your family is a handful," Katherine played out as she tangled her fingers into the hairs in the base of Elijah's neck.

"That includes you," he jabbed back, closing the distance between them, not bothering to adjust his pjs.

A smile grew on the doppelganger's face as their lips separated.

"I don't remember officially bring your family,"

Elijah looked up in amusement.

"Have you popped the question while I slept?" she pushed, pulling in his short hair, taking a hiss out of him.

"I won't propose in the middle of our kitchen, in my birthday suit amidst my family's breakfast mess if that's what you're asking, Katerina,"

She shrugged and chuckled leaning up for another kiss.

"Why would I need marriage when I already have you with every marital rights I can get?" she whispered, nibbling on his lower lip.

Elijah smirked at her, his chocolate-colored eyes alight with renewed lust.

"We could always jump to the nuptials," he tried his best nonchalant tone, but Katherine knew better as he again put her on the kitchen counter.

"I like the way you think, my Lord,"

Elijah's mouth left the juncture of her neck and shoulder to look deep into her beautiful eyes.

"And I love you, my lady,"
