Tsukasa ate chips as he watched T.V.
His roommates looked at him with the most dejected look ever realizing how much of a leech Tsukasa became.
Truthfully he wasn't a leech he just liked fucking with his roommates. He went job hunting yesterday while they were out but the idiots didn't even notice since he came back before they did.
He managed to find an opening in a flower shop… yes a flower shop, don't judge. It was being run by an old lady named Rika, she had nobody to help her so he decided to just take the offer despite not knowing anything about plants. He did let her know by the way but she didn't seem to care, she would teach him.
The next morning when he left to go to work he naturally didn't tell his roommates because, again, he likes fucking with them. When he got there old lady Rika was setting up pots on a rather high shelf. On cue, she slipped but Tsukasa has fast reflexes so he managed to catch her. The pot wasn't so lucky though.
"Old lady Rika, what do you think you're doing?" He asked- he was curious as to why this woman would expose herself to potential danger.
She huffed. "I'm not old yet! I can do things on my own, it's barely your first day and you're already lecturing me."
He's never encountered such a stubborn woman of this caliber.
Granted his mother was a stubborn woman but she was a total asshole so we're not going to talk about that slut.
Old lady Rika insisted on doing all the heavy lifting despite the fact that she was clearly struggling. Tsukasa had to find clever ways to help her without her realizing it. It was a chore but he couldn't really help it.
He started to care.
Yes, it was an odd occurrence honestly. The only people he's ever cared about were his friends, Amane and his sister in law Nene. Oh yeah, Nene is married to his twin older brother. They were friends in middle school and they fell in love. She kept insisting he wasn't her type but she ended up with his brother anyway.
Everyone knew they would except Nene and Amane themselves.
Such dense fools.
Back to the topic at hand, old lady Rika did have a family but nobody ever bothered to come see her or help her out unless money is involved. When he heard the story he couldn't help but want to track these people down and teach them a lesson. But he knew that if he did that- old lady Rika would be upset because despite everything she really cared about her family.
He sighed, why do good people suffer?
She taught him everything she knew, from types of flowers and how to plant and take care of one. Tsukasa wasn't all that good at it so he merely tended the cash register and cleaned and moved stuff around. It was good pay and his boss was too kind so he liked his job. Naturally, he had yet to tell his roommates, they still think he's leeching.
He's wondering if they're stupid considering they've managed to pay rent this whole time.
Months pass by and things are going great right?
Well not so much- like his last job this one also had the occasional entitled customer. A grown-ass man entered the shop wanting to buy flowers of the best quality for his mistress.
Mistress as in his whore and not his actual wife.
He didn't say it out loud of course.
Old lady Rika was showing him around but he kept growing impatient as time went on. Tsukasa was mopping the floor at the time but he was keeping an eye out. After all, he better not think she's alone, he's here and ready to beat anyone up.
Eventually, the man snapped and yelled at old lady Rika. "I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE MEANING BEHIND THESE STUPID FLOWERS, JUST SHOW ME THE BEST QUALITY ONES YOU HAVE!!!" He kept yelling as old lady Rika tried to calm him down.
Tsukasa felt his protective instincts kick in at that moment as the guy aggressively pushed old lady Rika to the floor. When Tsukasa gets angry there are two things you can do:
You can either stand your ground and get beaten up until you're bleeding on the floor or you can run away and hope to God he never finds you.
This guy was the dumb one who wanted to stand his ground as soon as he saw Tsukasa glaring at him. "What do you want punk? Don't you know the customer is always right?" He aggressively shoved Tsukasa trying to provoke him. He smirked as if he was the one in control here.
Tsukasa rarely gets angry, and when he does… well…
He grabbed the man's shirt and pinned him up against the wall.
"What!?" He yelled out as Tsukasa's aggressive grip was holding him in place. All he could feel was fear as he stared into Tsukasa's eyes that were devoid of any emotion.
"Apologize." He said, no, he ordered.
Old lady Rika was panicking as she tried to desperately calm down Tsukasa. She didn't want him to get in trouble in case this horrible man decided to press charges.
Except Tsukasa doesn't give a shit about the law. He's been to jail more times than he can count if he were honest.
The man was gasping for air at this point and yet couldn't exactly tell him to let him go. Those void eyes were so haunting he felt like he was seeing a glimpse of hell. Even if he wanted to apologize he felt like that wouldn't appease this demon trying to kill him.
"I-I'm s-s-sorry." He gasped again as he felt the air finally leave him.
Tsukasa let him go and he fell to the ground with a thud. The man was coughing and gasping for air, he didn't even care anymore, he needed to get the fuck out. He stood up shakingly- bumping into the tables and even the windows as he hastily left the building running into oncoming traffic in the process.
Tsukasa smirked, satisfied with his work.
Old lady Rika was too stunned to even say anything.
…
Glad to see this got a bit of attention lol
It's kinda fun writing Tsukasa so don't be confused if I do that a lot xD
