She was nowhere to be seen!
How Tsukasa managed to fucking lose his niece in a matter of 5 seconds was beyond comprehension. He was sure it would use up his last brain cells just trying to figure it out.
He screamed out her name, got employees involved. Tore up the whole goddamn store trying to find her. They tried kicking him out but he was too intimidating to mess with at the moment.
Amane was going to kill him.
Unbeknownst to him, baby Hikari had somehow made it inside a candy machine and was currently stuffing her face with candy. Candy her parents didn't want her to eat…
But she was fine so that's all that mattered.
Tsukasa still couldn't find her though and in the time it took to try and find her- baby Hikari crawled all the way out of the store and into ongoing traffic.
As she did Tsukasa managed to catch a glimpse of her and panicked. "HIKARI NO!"
The baby giggled as she crawled and somehow narrowed avoided busy traffic. A lot of close calls such as cars narrowly missing her and tires being so close to hitting her head. Tsukasa was having a literal panic attack as he watched Hikari cross the street. Each time a car was close to hitting her he would scream.
Eventually, the traffic stopped because of a red light and Tsukasa ran to try and catch up to Hikari.
She was fast and swift and managed to keep evading him. How she got so good at crawling and avoiding death was a question nobody could answer. Her behavior very much gained some attention to everyone who saw her by herself blowing the occasional raspberry and giggling to herself like she's having the time of her life.
Meanwhile, her uncle is going to need therapy after this and a restraining order for Amane.
"HIKARI!" He ran and ran and immediately paled as he realized where she was going.
Baby Hikari had somehow made her way towards an active construction site. Tsukasa let out a scream and almost pulled his hair.
Amane was going to murder him.
AMANE WAS SO GOING TO MURDER HIM!!
Not only that but Nene is going to double murder him. Amane is going to stab him in the chest while Nene stabs him from behind. Then he'll come back as a ghost and they'll hire an exorcist to torture him for the rest of his pathetic ghost life.
He did wonder how he would look like as a ghost-
THERE'S NO TIME TO BE THINKING ABOUT THAT SHIT!!!
He jumped the fence and entered the construction site. The busy workers were completely unaware that a baby and her crazy uncle had entered. They were moving around heavy equipment that could easily kill them both if they weren't careful.
He was so going to need therapy after this.
He looked around and managed to spot the baby climbing up on some steel pipes. Good, he can just go up to her and catch her and-
OH GOD!
A worker was picking up the steel pipes in order to transfer them however he got distracted by his boss giving him sudden new orders. The pipes were now suspended up in the air. One could see birds fly by at that height.
Tsukasa wanted to die.
Real badly.
The baby wasn't even scared, it was as if she was blissfully unaware of the sheer panic and terror she was causing to her dead uncle. She was laughing and smiling as she bounced up and down and waved her arms around. She liked looking at the pretty birds that were flying by.
Meanwhile, Tsukasa was climbing a nearby building to try and get to the steel pipes. Once he made it on top he looked down.
Never look down.
He wanted to throw up, he's not high enough for this shit.
He breathed in and jumped- gracefully landing on the pipes. He quickly sat down trying not to lose balance. He sighed of relief as he had somehow made it. He was never going to question his dumb luck ever again.
He slowly slid towards Hikari who was unaware of her uncle's presence. She was having fun playing by herself and sucking on her thumb because what else would a baby do.
Tsukasa was almost there until the pipes began to move. The worker was ordered to take them across the yard. He rolled his eyes and continued on his day not realizing a baby and a guy were on the pipes he was transporting.
Tsukasa tried to grab Hikari but she slid all the way towards the edge. The pipes were moving around which caused him immense anxiety. If she falls there's no way he's going to be able to catch her. She's as good as dead at this height.
Not only will there be one corpse but two once his brother finds out. Speaking of he's literally messaging him right now and he's not going to even try to make up an excuse.
Baby Hikari, still unaware of the danger she's in, looked over the edge and began to laugh loudly. Tsukasa made his way towards her despite the moving pipes and managed to get close. He was finally able to grab her.
"Gotcha!"
Hikari giggled loudly as she looked at her uncle. Tsukasa sighed but almost screamed as the pipes stopped suddenly. He grabbed on for dear life and looked down. People finally fucking noticed he was up there.
There were people gathering around, workers, normal people-
Was that a news station?
3 hours later…
When Tsukasa finally arrived he set down Hikari in her crib. She was sleeping peacefully after having such an amazing day.
Tsukasa looked like death.
He was calling up his therapist until he heard the door open.
His brother and Nene were finally home.
"Hey Tsu, you didn't answer my messages and-"
"The baby is in the crib sleeping, bye!" He quickly said and shut the door immediately, booking it to the nearest airport. Instead of therapy, he'll go live in Africa or some shit.
Nene raised an eyebrow as she checked on the baby. "She must have stressed him out." She chuckled.
Amane shrugged. "Most likely." He sighed and sat down on the couch and turned on the TV to the nearest news station.
This just in!
A man and a baby were seen on top of some steel pipes today in an active construction site
The news report showed Tsukasa and a smiling baby Hikari on top of some pipes.
Amane and Nene stared at the TV in horror.
"TSUKASA!!!!"
