Sleeping Beauty

Prologue

Heading through the forest toward Camp Half Blood Selene let out a yawn. She had promised Chiron she would help set up for the summer festival. With many of the teachers on vacation, he would need all the help he could get.

Yet the more she walked, the more tired she became. After a while, Selene couldn't stop yawning. She even found it hard to keep her eyes open.

Which was strange, for she got enough sleep to help out today. As Selene came to a stop, she sat down and lean her back against the tree. Sitting there, her eyes noticed a strange mist in the air.

"What is this?" Selene said, before closing her eyes.

Within minutes, Selene was sound asleep as her head rested on the trunk of the tree.

As the mist cleared, Aphrodite appeared. The blond goddess smiled at the sight of Selene. Sighing with the content, Aphrodite didn't want to move her. But if this was going to work, it had to be done.

"Now, with phase one complete, it's time to move on to phase two." Aphrodite said follow with a smirk.

Raising her hand, Aphrodite was about to snap her fingers when she heard a few voices close by. Without thinking, she duck behind a bush and kept still. At first she thought it was some children from Camp Half Blood but the moment they came into view she her smile quickly disappeared.

Standing in front of Selene were two men in black suits. She was intrigued by this, so Aphrodite remained still and kept watching.

"Would you look at this?" the slender man said.

"Yeah, I bet if we take her back to the boss, he would forgive us for sure." The muscular man said.

Without another thought, Selene was up in the muscular man's arms. Keeping out of sight, Aphrodite followed them until they reached a black car. Hiding behind a tree, she poked her head out to see Selene getting put into the back seat. Once the door was shut, all she could do was watched as the car drove away.

Sighing, Aphrodite came out of hiding, dusting herself off.

"Well, looks like phase two has changed. I am definitely going to need some help with this one."
