The group who left the studio that afternoon we're definitely a changed group of individuals, the director had been so intensely happy he had almost fled the room saying he would have the script updated and returned to them by the morning and was practically ready to drag Chiori with him if Lory had not stated that Chiori was not a full LME employee and he would need to also contact SoftHat to get the go ahead there. Promising he would do so and after checking Itsumi would be ok after Lory had offered a full tour of LME to Shona and the children plus the young woman if she liked she had nodded and told him she would be fine making her own way he had left almost skipping.
"I cannot believe you rewrote that script so fast!" Masaru, was saying excitedly as the group made their way to L. for a change of pace, Lory had said. Masaru was walking along chatting animatedly with Chiori, Kanae and Kyoko behind them adding their own voices to the conversation here and there. As walking not too far behind Aio and Shona were talking about dancing and the Dark Moon with Itsumi. Then bringing up the rear was Lory, Yashiro and Ren as they talked about the contract that would be written up for the movie with Kyoko that the director had promised to get in writing by the next day also.
It was as they were passing through the lobby it happened, a tall man literally barged Chiori out of the way to grab Masaru who looked as if he had seen a ghost.
"Finally! You're coming with me." Where his only words as he turned and started trying to drag Masaru away with him, it was like lightning as the Love me girls worked Kanae interposed herself somehow between the two showing every inch of her body in an alluring way.
"Hey now don't run off so fast." She purred and as his eyes where looking elsewhere and his grip loosened Masaru was pulled out of his hands by Kyoko who passed him to Chiori who stood in front of him like a shield as Kanae rolled away avoiding his other hand and was behind Kyoko in a second she too placing her body between the man and the boy, but it was more Mio than Kyoko that held the older man at bay her voice lowered menacingly.
"That was not a very polite thing to do." She stated simply the rich heiress Mio had been looking down upon the man who was benether her. The man just sneered as he looked at the three girls who were now standing before the boy like guardians.
"Masaru!" Came Shona's terrified voice as she rushed forwards grabbing her son too her, Chiori glanced over her shoulder to see Itsumi holding Aio tightly as the young girl stared horrified. The man went to stride forwards but none of the love me girls were moving; they all glared balefully as he felt like tendrils or ropes where binding him into position as he struggled to get his feet to move.
"If it isn't my darling wife" the man jeered as Shona wrapped Masaru in her arms adding another layer of protection.
"Give me the boy Shona, he's mine by right." The man spoke out loud and confidently as Chiori audiblably growled.
"No man or woman has the right to 'own' anyone! Least of all a man who has never done one single thing for those who are supposed to be his children." Her voice was like ice as she stood tall next to Kyoko.
"Ahhh that is where you're wrong.." he would have said more pushed passed them even, if in that moment a deathly presence washed over them all as Kyoko's character shifted her body swinging into the at ease sexy pose any model wither her paycheck would know as she looked the pathetic man before her over as the strong hand came down lightly in her shoulder she stepped aside minutely as Kanae did so too allowing the taller more muscular man entry into there blockade wall.
"I would be very careful indeed what you do here, you see this is LME and we are it's main attraction and I doubt very much you would like the kind of press we could easily pass along now do you." The barely hidden Cain, his voice like that of a demon, stated cooly as he looked at the front windows and to the reporters who were always stationed outside for any little tit bits that might fall their way. They were already watching some even writing it seemed and it seemed to have an impact on this man.
"He belongs to me Shona, we made a deal I gave you one child and saved your company, you would be my wife no matter what for the duration of the contract. He is just a spare I will leave you, the girl." Everyone within hearing with any grasp on the situation stiffened, Kyoko physically grabbed Ren's hand seeing the pure fury in his gaze knowing in the current state he would not stop at just smashing the guy in the face.
"Masaru is not just a toy you can pick up when you feel like it. Hisoka! He is my son and you dare try and take him from me and you will live to regret it." Shona said with the ferocity of a lioness protecting her cub as the man named Hisoka laughed.
"Come now Shona, the law is on my side and I've already proven it. Give me the boy here and now and I won't have you imprisoned for kidnapping." His eyes were cold and dared Shona, but Shona did not buckle under the pressure as she pushed Masaru towards his sister and the groups parted just enough to allow Shona to step into their ranks.
"You will take my son away over my dead body." Shona spat at him as his smile became predatory.
"that can be arranged." He half shouted as it looked like Hisako was going to pounce on Shona, Sebastian suddenly materialised from the shadows heading the security team, he had Hisako restrained within seconds as the man screamed out in rage.
"I shall see him out sir." Sebastian said as Lory walked serenely over and nodded.
"Thank you Sebastian and I want security double at ever door please." Sebastian and the two security with him nodded, the latter two bowing as the dragged the screaming man out of the building.
"You can't hide in there forever Shona! And don't you worry you will be hearing from more than my lawyer this time! Be ready to kiss those brats goodbye." And with that he was out of the door and escorted down the steps of LME. Ren caught Shona as she collapsed, all the fight gone from her body as Lory looked around nodded to the receptionist that quickly stated.
"Guest room one is free Takarada-Sacho." He nodded and led the way followed but Ren still carried Shona, A seething looking Yashiro who had Masaru, and Itsumi who helped a weeping Aio. The love Me girls took rear guard making sure no one followed and everyone was in the room before shutting the door.
"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON SHONA!" Yashiro literally shouted as the door shut behind Kyoko who was the last to enter, Ren had just place Shona on on of the couches backed up giving his manager and her children room to get to her the twins taking either side of there mom as both tried not to cry hugging her tightly as she assured them she was ok kissing each forehead lovingly as her arms wound around them. No one had ever seen Yashiro on a temper like he had now, Ren tried to touch his arm but the older man flinched away as he started pacing.
"WHAT THE HELL DID HE MEAN 'YOU MADE A DEAL?!'" Shona sighed and looked at her brother she loved so much and then to Lory who's face simply said I told you so.
"I never loved Hisako, it was a business deal nothing more..." Whatever else Shona had been going to say she never got to it as Yashiro exploded.
"A BUSINESS DEAL! A BUSINESS DEAL! WHAT THE HELL WHERE MOM AND DAD THINKING! THEY SOLD THEIR ONLY DAUGHTER TO THAT... THAT... THAT MONSTER! HOW COULD THEY SELL YOU LIKE A OBJECT! HOW.." it was Shona's turn to but in as she stood up and screamed back.
"THEY DIDN'T SELL ME! I SOLD MYSELF!" And that was it the moment Yashiro crumpled beneath the wait of his sisters words and landed onto the sofa facing his crying sister and children as she too collapsed back down covering her face with her hands as she learnt forwards into her knees.
"Why shonny? Why would you do that to yourself?" He asked in barely a whisper as Shona rubbed her face once more and looked up at her brother as if there was no one else in the room.
"Because it was the only thing I could do, mom and dad, you, you always did so much for me and you were trying so hard to get into a good school to study management and dad was struggling to hold ends together I simply couldn't watch everything fall apart. I had already rejected Hisako more times than I could count, he didn't want me, he just wanted the arm candy. The Trophy wife looks good at all those ritzy parties, to make other woman want him and other men want to be him.
I had always been popular and me saying no just sent him over the edge, he started buying up all dads companies. Turning the directors against him when they thought he was selling them out. It got to the point dad was almost forced to consider bankruptcy." Shona watched as her brother's jaw dropped, he had never known any of their family hardships at that point.
"We had decided back then when you were already so stressed over school and exams it just wasn't fair to worry you further and the longer we went without telling you the easier it was just not to do it. You surpassed all our expectations, you made us all so proud of you, you worked so hard and by then the deal was already made and you just believed I had fallen in love, married and moved away." Shona saw the complete devastation in her younger brother's face, she had done all of it for her family. She had become a pretty doll for Hisako to flaunt to get the ladies and he did in the bucket loads and for the men to drool over but if she ever did look their way her life would not have been worth living she had known and been told on numerous occasions.
"The deal was I would agree to marry him for 15 years in that time I was to be his wife in all respects of the word and to be solely committed to him, I'm return he would release all the companies back into fathers name and sister them to his own families company to reclaim losses made during that time and to have written documentation stating he would never force to seize control of them again unless freely given and he was to provide me with a child." If a pin had dropped in the room you would have heard it, it was Yashiro's turn to remove his glasses and rub his face as yet again the children leaned into their mother and she hugged them tightly.
"Shona you sold yourself, there must have been another way! I... I could have found a way! You're not a doll, you're my sister... I love you! I could have found a way." And finally the heartbreak he was feeling overcame Yashiro as he held his head in his hands and silently cried for his sister, the woman who had literally sold herself to the devil so his family could continue as they had and through the sob wracked breath Yashiro managed to say.
"It wasn't worth it Shonny, you're worth more than that." It seemed to be only Shona who was not shocked by the next person who made an entrance into the conversation as Kanae stepped around the sofa past Ren and sat down beside the man who was not fully in control of himself she knew as she placed a hand on his back and rubbed as she had seen Kyoko do to Maria and her own family when one on the children was upset, it was outside her comfort zone but Kanae could not stand to see him tear himself apart like this
"I know you hurt Yukihito and I know you are blaming yourself right now but I want you to know that your Shona is the bravest woman I have ever known." She looked at Shona as she said this making sure without a doubt the woman believed it as she bowed her head towards her before continuing.
"But a very wise man once told me that we could sometimes not decide how our fates were to turn out and that sometimes the fate we were designed for would not be by taking the easiest path but one where we would have to face all the bumps and bruises of getting there by a different route. Maybe the reason you could and did not save Shona back then was not because you couldn't have done it, but maybe it wasn't Shona you were destined to save." Kanae felt him stiffen benether her hand; she was probably the only other person bar Shona in the room who knew just how much his sister meant to him but as her words continued;
"Maybe you were destined to save Masaru." She felt him release all the tension.
"Who was the wise man?" Yashiro asked as he wiped his eyes and sat up once again in control as Kanae smiled and looked over to the man leaning against the wall.
"It was the president." She said matter of factly as Lory smiled brightly.
"Now Shona my dear, as soon as your delightful husband stepped foot inside LME, it became LME business so be a dear and this time do not fight the help I am about to give you." The room waited with bated breath as finally Shona nodded.
"I turned you down once, Lory and look how that turned out." She said motioning to Yashiro and herself both looking a bit worse for wear.
"Oh I don't know Shona, I think you just took one of my less direct routes to your happily ever after. You got two beautiful children from a *cough cough* sperm donor, while I got the best manager LME has ever seen. Don't forget most princesses have to have trials and tribulations before they meet their Prince Charming after all." Shona couldn't help it as Lory preened placing himself in her Prince Charming role she laughed out loud.
"Oh ever so gracious Prince Charming whatever am I supposed to do?" She asked, playing along as Lory smiled.
"Well this is where it gets interesting."
Within 30 minutes the moving lorry turned up outside the apartment building Shona and the twins had been living in, Shona had told Lory she had seen one of Hisako's goons just that morning staking out the place when she had revived yet another letter from the solicitor stating she was in breach of contract by leaving with both children demanding Masaru be returned to his father immediately.
The man who had been charged with watching the building was almost blinded as the 4 rather attractive women jumped out all in the brightest pink gaudiest jumpsuits he had ever seen, the all that the moving logos on their backs and fronts pink bandana around their heads to keep hair out of their eyes with 4 large men each in blue jumpsuits but with the same horrendously pink belts and logos.
He wondered who in their right mind would hire a company that dressed like that but, his thoughts never got any further as his mind returned to the Box-R reruns he was watching. As the movers moved into the building and straight to the Yashiro's family apartment the three love me girls plus Itsumi took point packing boxes left right and center, labelling them all and passing them off to Ren and the three other security staff Lory had sent along with them with all of them working together and the fact Shona had basically left the house of her husband with nothing but belongings meant that it didn't take long to empty them out of the fully furnished apartment which was left thanks to Kyoko cleaner than when Shona had moved into it.
Within 3 hours it was all packed and the people responsible were piling back into the lorry and where off again the guy none the wiser as Lorys staff prepared an entire wing of his mansion for Shona and the kids to stay in while plans went ahead and while this happened Lory and Yashi worked their magic.
Yashiro Yukihito had not been able to save his sister but damned be the day he let that devil take his nephew.
