Spider-Man vs Black Panther
Note: RIP Chadwick Boseman. The Black Panther. Wakanda Forever.
"It's a brand new day in New York as Princess Shuri of Wakanda has arrived in New York for the opening of the Wakandan International Outreach Centre in New York, it's been months since her country opened up to the world and sharing their knowledge with us. She already opened the other center in Oakland as she now personally sees that the next one is a success. Not a lot of Wakandans are opened to the idea of change in their country, but hopefully under the leadership of the New King T'Challa, that'll all change."
Shuri is in the limo listening to the news with the Dora Milaje who are assigned to guard her. She looks out the window and sees Avengers Tower in her sight.
"Ah... the famous Avengers Tower. The site where the Skrulls began their war and where the Avengers ended it. Wondering if there's anyone home?" Shuri said.
"Remember princess, we're on a tight schedule. Your brother specifically wants you to focus on the opening of the center."
"I know, my brother is quite paranoid. I'm escorted by you brave ladies, what could go wrong?" Shuri said.
The lead squad car got blown up as the other one behind the limo is blown up too. The limo stopped as they are under attack. The Dora Milaje steps out with their spears ready until they got attacked by an individual wearing a red suit with reflexes. This individual took out the Dora Milaje with ease.
Shuri remained in the limo as she took a peek and sees the Dora Milaje down. She then got surprised by the appearance of this individual, one she never thoughts would be responsible.
"Spider-Man?" Shuri said.
He opened up the limo door and webbed up Shuri. He picked her up as a helicopter came in and they both boarded the copter. A lot of people were there as they had their phones record the incident. They see Spider-Man has kidnapped the Princess of Wakanda.
At the home of Anna Watson, Mary Jane came by to visit.
"It's been awhile since you've been here." Anna said.
"Can't your niece come by and see her lovely aunt?" Mary Jane said.
"Of course you can, this is your home. So how is work?" Anna said.
"The modeling gig is good, though I'm thinking about branching out into a different profession." Mary Jane said.
"Please tell me you're not going do porn or escort?" Anna said.
"Seriously? No, I'm thinking about doing an audition for the new Black Widow movie." Mary Jane said.
"Black Widow?" Anna said.
"Yeah, that agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. who made her public appearance since she helped the Avengers save the planet. They're looking for a young actress who can play as a younger version of her to tell about her story." Mary Jane said.
"You want to become an actress, that's great Mary Jane. You always wanted that dream ever since you were a little girl. I remember the time you did plays in school, that one time you play Cinderella is spectacular." Anna said.
"Thanks but I'm a little nervous. What if I'm not good enough? What if I fail?" Mary Jane said.
"Pursuing a dream is never easy, but this here is an opportunity to show everyone what your talent is. Even if you don't succeed, you'll still be perfect as you're already a successful person. You just need to have faith in yourself." Anna said.
"Thank you." Mary Jane smiled.
"Trust me, you got this." Anna smiled.
Mary Jane and Anna hugged each other.
Later Mary Jane came by the garage and sees Peter working on the dune buggy.
"Still working on that thing?" Mary Jane said.
Peter turned around and sees Mary Jane behind him.
"Yeah, she's still needs work. How is Anna Watson?" Peter said.
"Getting by without me, she and May often see each other for company." Mary Jane said.
"That's good, they both need each other as you and I are living together." Peter said.
"Can I ask you something?" Mary Jane said.
"Sure, what is it?" Peter said.
"What's Black Widow like?" Mary Jane said.
"Black Widow? What about her?" Peter said.
"Oh, I'm gonna do an audition to play as her. Since you've teamed up with her more than once." Mary Jane said.
"How could I forget. Okay let's see... she's fearless, confident, fierce, and always stays professional." Peter said.
"I see." Mary Jane said.
"So you're gonna do it? Do the audition?" Peter said.
"You think I shouldn't?" Mary Jane said.
"No, I think that you'll be perfect. You always talked about being an actress since you were ten. You were amazing in all the plays you've done. You got this." Peter said.
"Thanks Tiger." Mary Jane smiled.
Peter's phone rang, it's Betty Brant.
"It's Betty." Peter answered the call. "Hey Betty, what's going on?"
Mary Jane left to give Peter some privacy until he spoke.
"What?!... When?!... Fine, I'll be there." Peter hangs up.
"What is it Tiger?" Mary Jane said.
"Spider-Man just kidnapped the Princess of Wakanda." Peter said.
"What? That can't be. You been here since we both arrived here together." Mary Jane said.
"I know, but there's video that Spider-Man took Shuri and left. I'm sorry but I gotta go." Peter said.
"I know, you need to find her and clear your name." Mary Jane said.
Peter left the garage and rides the motorcycle out of the driveway.
Later at the Bugle as everyone gather to see the news.
"In a shocking development, Spider-Man attacked a motorcade and took out the police escort and kidnapped the Princess Shuri of Wakanda. There are still no motive as to why but there's a arrest warrant in his name as local and federal officials work tirelessly to find Spider-Man and rescue the Princess."
"Finally, now everyone gets to see that Wallcrawler for the menace he truly is. Robbie, today's headline will be 'Spider-Man, Public Enemy Number 1'." Jameson said.
"Jameson, I don't think that Spider-Man is the culprit. Attacking a motorcade and kidnapping a princess doesn't seem to be his style." Peter said.
"Are you saying that video is lying?" Jameson said.
"Hey, anyone could get a costume and look like Spider-Man. This guy is a poor imitation, the way he moves and taking off in a helicopter is not his style." Peter said.
"Perhaps but for now he's the main suspect and we print the facts and evidence. Robbie, run it!" Jameson said.
"I guess that Spider-Man really has fallen so far." Ned Leeds said.
"I'm not too convinced that this is Spider-Man we're talking about, there was this monster that attacked a group of criminals and kidnapped me that resembled Spider-Man. I think that he's being framed." Betty said.
"You still believe that he's innocent?" Ned Leeds said.
"Yes... I do. He's no criminal." Betty said.
Peter is glad that there still some people who believe that he's innocent, but he's still not out of the woods yet as he still needs to find Princess Shuri and clear his name.
Later as Ghost-Spider arrives at a rooftop to meet with Spider-Man.
"Thank you for coming." Spider-Man said.
"Sure, can't believe that you're now a target by the police and our government." Ghost-Spider said.
"That's the least of my worries, if we don't find Shuri soon, King T'Challa will take matters into his owns hands." Spider-Man said.
"Why are you so worried about what the king will do?" Ghost-Spider said.
"Because... he's the Black Panther." Spider-Man said.
Across the pond, in Wakanda, King T'Challa received word that his sister has been kidnapped and that Spider-Man is responsible.
"Can't believe that the man that saved my life one time kidnapped Shuri." Okoye said.
"Doesn't matter, I spoken with Captain America and he still vouches for Spider-Man and asked me not to engage him. If the Avengers and the Americans won't be able to do something about this, then I'll have deal with Spider-Man myself." T'Challa said.
"How do we find him?" Okoye said.
T'Challa shows a holographic image of the palace surveillance from months ago.
"While he was here with the Avengers, he had his mask off. We have his face." T'Challa said.
They ran a scan and found a match, they see the profile of Peter Parker.
"Peter Benjamin Parker, born in Queens, parents died in a plane crash, raised by his uncle and aunt. Science prodigy, straight 'A' student of Midtown High. Currently taking classes at Empire State University and works part time as a freelance photographer." T'Challa said.
"Doesn't really strike me as someone who turns to a life of crime." Okoye said.
"Right now I'm want Shuri found by any means necessary. General, gather your troops, we're leaving for New York." T'Challa said.
"Yes my king." Okoye said.
Okoye left as T'Challa made it to his chamber, he opened the closet and sees the Panther Habit.
He dons it and walks out of the palace as his mother waits.
"Mother." T'Challa said.
"T'Challa, please bring Shuri home." Ramonda said.
"I will, I promise." T'Challa said.
T'Challa and Ramonda hugged each other before he boarded the ship. Inside the Dora Milaje greet their king as Okoye is at the cockpit.
"Ready?" Okoye said.
"Time to take off, General." T'Challa said.
The Wakandan ship left the pad as Ramonda watches it leave the city.
Spider-Man is on the phone talking with Captain America.
"I'm sorry that I couldn't convince T'Challa to stand down." Captain America said.
"It's okay, I'll have to find Shuri as soon as possible." Spider-Man said.
"Take care son." Captain America said.
"Thanks." Spider-Man hangs up.
"What happened?" Ghost-Spider said.
"Cap couldn't convince T'Challa that I'm innocent." Spider-Man said.
"So you're screwed, that's what you're saying." Ghost-Spider said.
"We need to find Shuri as soon as possible before the Black Panther finds me." Spider-Man said.
"Who is this Black Panther?" Ghost-Spider said.
"He's the protector of Wakanda, it's a mantle that is held by the king who is trained to become a warrior that fights for his country." Spider-Man said.
"Just how good is he, be honest." Ghost-Spider said.
"He's as strong and fast as Captain America, his skills in combat is just as great, he wears a vibranium weave suit that protects him from almost anything." Spider-Man said.
"So basically he's pretty bad ass." Ghost-Spider said.
"Basically, yes." Spider-Man said.
"Okay, so how do we find Shuri? Any ideas who's behind this?" Ghost-Spider said.
"No, whoever it is managed to imitate my costume and my tech. It has to be a clever imposter." Spider-Man said.
"Anyone you must've come across perhaps? An old enemy?" Ghost-Spider said.
"It's not a Skrull since they can shape shift perfectly, but this guy's movement is not like mines. This may not be about me." Spider-Man said.
"Are you saying that..." Ghost-Spider said.
"It's about T'Challa, someone is making a move against him and is framing me for the crime. Question is who is it?" Spider-Man said.
In the Bronx at a warehouse, a group of Wakandan Separatists led by N'Jadaka, who now goes by Killmonger. N'Jadaka is the son of N'Jobu who was the brother of the late King T'Chalka, he is the cousin of King T'Challa and Princess Shuri. He have Princess Shuri all tied up to a chair.
"Hello cousin." Killmonger said.
"N'Jadaka? How could you?" Shuri not happy.
"I'm sorry this came to this cousin but your brother's view on joining Wakanda with the rest of the world will bring war to Wakanda. I am only doing what is necessary." Killmonger said.
"Necessary? Kidnapping me and framing Spider-Man for the crime is necessary?" Shuri said.
"Oh right, allow me to introduce the man who made this possible, step forward... Chameleon." Killmonger said.
The man stepped forward wearing Spider-Man's costume and pulled his mask, showing a white face.
"Meet Dmitri Smerdyakov, the Chameleon." Killmonger said.
"Your highness." Chameleon said.
"Why the ruse? What's the purpose of all this?" Shuri said.
"Your brother thinks that having our country joined with the rest of the world will be best for our people. As soon as it's happens, the UN will learn about the rare mineral found in Wakanda, vibranium. We already had someone enter our borders and tried to steal the vibranium, it cost home his arm. That's exactly what's going to happen to Wakanda when that day comes, the whole world will come and take what's ours. Your brother needs to be removed from the throne. He'll come for Spider-Man, with any luck he'll try to fight Spider-Man in a battle for their lives. Spider-Man will kill T'Challa or die at his hands. Either way, I shall be victorious as the throne shall be ripe for the taking." Killmonger said.
"Let me guess, you intend to take the throne for yourself." Shuri said.
"I am of royal blood and have already taken the heart shaped herb." Killmonger said.
"You'll never a king, not as long as T'Challa and me still live." Shuri said.
"We shall see." Killmonger said.
Killmonger walked out with Chameleon as Shuri is still held hostage by her own cousin who betrayed the royal family. She can only hope that her brother and Spider-Man won't fight to the death and find out about N'Jadaka's treachery.
Meanwhile Killmonger and Chameleon went into the other room.
"Here, your payment as promised." Killmonger said.
"I admire what you're doing here, leading a revolution to take the throne." Chameleon said.
"Thank you, just out of curiosity, what's drives you into this kind of work?" Killmonger said.
"I was trained for this, made a reputation for myself, managed to evade every government agency, including S.H.I.E.L.D., it's quite thrilling doing the things you love." Chameleon said.
Night came as Ghost-Spider searched rooftop to rooftop hoping to find a lead that can locate Princess Shuri
"Anything?" Spider-Man said in the earpiece.
"Nothing, we've been at this all night and still no sign of Shuri." Ghost-Spider said.
"Alright, keep looking. We're running out of time." Spider-Man said in the earpiece.
"Will do." Ghost-Spider hangs up.
Ghost-Spider's spider sense tingles as she turns around and jumped out of the way as she sees someone in a black cat suit.
"Let me guess, you're Black Panther." Ghost-Spider said.
"Very perceptive. You must be his new protégé." Black Panther said.
"Ghost-Spider at your service." Ghost-Spider said.
"Well Ghost-Spider I was hoping to find Spider-Man, or you do you prefer Peter Parker." Black Panther said.
"How did you know his name?" Ghost-Spider said.
"He was at my palace at some point, he removed his mask while he and friend stayed there during the invasion. Listen, I'm short on time here, I'm gonna need you to come with me." Black Panther said.
"Yeah, I don't think so." Ghost-Spider said.
"I wasn't asking, you're coming with me one way or another." Black Panther said.
"Fine, I'll go... not!" Ghost-Spider shot a web.
Black Panther dodged it and grabbed the web and pulled her towards him, he executes a push kick, Ghost-Spider got pushed back. Black Panther got in close to her and see if she's alright.
"Owww! Okay, now you're just being rude!" Ghost-Spider said.
Ghost-Spider did the L-kick to the face and pushed Black Panther back.
"Okay, he trained you well, I'll give you that." Black Panther said.
"You're going after the wrong guy, he's innocent." Black Panther said.
"Then let him tell it to me in person." Black Panther said.
"Why? So you can hurt him? I won't let that happen." Ghost-Spider said.
"I do not wish to fight you." Black Panther said.
"Too late!" Ghost-Spider said.
Ghost-Spider charged at him and pushed him through a burned down building as he fell. Ghost-Spider approach him and he kip up and kicked her back as she crashed against the beam. She tried to get up until she sees the building about to fall apart. It came crashing down as it fell towards her until Black Panther jumped in and protected her with his body as a shield.
The debris began to clear up as Black Panther was able to stand up as he looked down and sees Ghost-Spider unconscious from the debris hit.
"My king, are you alright?" Okoye said.
"I'm fine Okoye, but I need a ship brought to my location, I have an injured spider here." Black Panther said.
"On my way." Okoye said.
Black Panther picked up an unconscious Ghost-Spider in his arm and carried her to his ship for medical attention. He's amazed that someone like her was able to survive a building collapsed on top of her. The ship came in as he entered with Ghost-Spider in his arms. The ship lift off the abandoned building.
Spider-Man goes around the city and still no sign of Princess Shuri.
"I'm going around in circle with nothing to go on. I might need some help for this." Spider-Man said.
He pulled out his phone and dialed Natasha Romanoff AKA Black Widow.
"Hey Nat." Spider-Man said.
"Peter, what do you need?" Black Widow said.
"I'm lost at where to find Shuri, so I need intel that might point the way. As a Ex-Russian super spy and S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, you might know someone who fits the profile." Spider-Man said.
"What's the question?" Black Widow said.
"I'm trying to find an imposter, someone who's capable of imitating others. He could be the only lead to finding Shuri." Spider-Man said.
"Now that you mentioned it, when I was still working for the Red Room, I came across a man who is a master of disguise, his name is Dmitri Smerdyakov, they call him the Chameleon. He's on the wanted list and he has his way of targeting political figures, he could be the man you're looking for." Black Widow said.
"I see, listen I have another favorite to ask you." Spider-Man said.
Ghost-Spider awakens and sees that she is in some kind of aircraft that looked advanced. She noticed that she isn't wearing her mask.
"I see that you're awake, Gwendolyne Stacy." Black Panther said.
Ghost-Spider is surprised that Black Panther now knows her name. She tries to move until she realizes that she's restrained by shackles.
"I'm sorry but it's necessary to make sure that you don't do anything stupid. Don't bother breaking out, those shackles are made of vibranium, even the Hulk couldn't break them." Black Panther said.
"Why did you save me?" Ghost-Spider said.
"Because you're a young girl misguided by a villain, I couldn't leave you to die." Black Panther said.
"He's not a villain, he's innocent! You're going after the wrong guy!" Ghost-Spider said.
"The only thing I care about is finding my sister and Spider-Man is the only lead to go on. I'm willing to do whatever it takes to stop him." Black Panther said.
Black Panther will not be swayed by anyone, the only objective in his mind is saving Shuri and taking down Spider-Man.
Meanwhile as Spider-Man returned home as Mary Jane is watching the footage for the Black Widow in action, she tries to research her for the role she wants to take.
"Still figuring her out?" Peter said.
"I'm trying though the only thing I'm seeing is that she's a great fighter." Mary Jane said.
"I can pretty well confirm that, but you'll get it eventually. You have talent as an actress, you just need to have faith in yourself." Peter said.
"Funny, I kept telling to believe in yourself and now you're giving me my own advice." Mary Jane said.
"Well if it helps, I talked with Widow and told her about you wanting to play a role as her." Peter said.
"And what did she say?" Mary Jane said.
"She said that she'd be honor if you take the role. She's willing to talk with you about the role." Peter said.
"Really, thank you Tiger." Mary Jane smiled.
Peter and Mary Jane hugged as Peter's phone rang, he pulled it out and it's Gwen Stacy.
"Hey Gwen!" Peter said.
"Hello Peter Parker or do you prefer Spider-Man?" Black Panther said.
"T'Challa? Where's Gwen?" Peter said.
"She's here with me as my prisoner just like you have my sister as yours." Black Panther said.
"Listen to me T'Challa, I had nothing to do with what happened to your sister." Peter said.
"You expect me to believe you?" Black Panther said.
"If you have a problem then take it up with me, let Gwen go!" Peter said.
"I will, unlike you I still have honor, come to the docks and come alone, I shall wait for you and bring your friend." Black Panther hangs up.
"T'Challa? T'Challa?!" Peter said.
"What's wrong Tiger?" Mary Jane said.
"The Black Panther has Gwen and wants me to come to him." Peter said.
"Tiger, it could be a trap? What if he wants to kill you to avenge his sister?" Mary Jane said.
"Doesn't matter MJ, I'm going, I'm not gonna stand by and let something happen to Gwen because of me." Peter said.
Peter reached the window and puts on his mask. He swings away to face Black Panther and rescue Gwen.
At the docks, Black Panther awaits for Spider-Man to arrive as the Dora Milaje are guarding Gwen inside the ship. He then sees Spider-Man coming in and lands in front of him.
"I'm right here, where's Gwen?!" Spider-Man said.
"Don't worry, she's safe. I'll let her go after you tell me where you're keeping Shuri." Black Panther said.
"Are you really the biggest idiot there is? I don't have her, I never did!" Spider-Man said.
"I tried to be reasonable but you're making things difficult! If you won't talk, then I'll force you to talk." Black Panther said.
Black Panther draws out his claws.
"I don't want to fight you!" Spider-Man said.
"You never should've crossed the Black Panther!" Black Panther said.
Black Panther jumped in and attacked with his claws, but Spider-Man dodges and blocks every hit that Black Panther throws. He caught his wrists and stopped him.
"Listen to me, I've been set up!" Spider-Man said.
"No more lies!" Black Panther said.
Black Panther does the headbutt and hits Spider-Man in the head. Black Panther does the push kick as Spider-Man got pushed back. Black Panther ran up and does the drop kick and got him again, Spider-Man moves away as he got up. He got tired of holding back and being reasonable.
"Alright, enough is enough!" Spider-Man said.
Spider-Man got and charged in for a flying knee, Black Panther got hit and crashed against the trailer. The impact from Spider-Man's hit is strong against a normal human being but thanks to the Panther Habits, it dampened the damage.
"So you do have some fight in you after all." Black Panther said.
"I was holding back. Didn't want this but remember you started it!" Spider-Man said.
"I'm going to finish it!" Black Panther said.
Spider-Man shot a web at him but Black Panther ran and ducked as he does the meia lua de compasso kick, Spider-Man got kicked up as he shot two webs at each side as he does the slingshot kick. He charged in at high speed and kicked Black Panther back into a warehouse.
"You are a formidable warrior, I'll give you that." Black Panther said.
"Had enough?" Spider-Man said.
"No, not nearly enough." Black Panther said.
Spider-Man ran up and does the psycho kick, caught Black Panther by surprise. He got up and does the flying knee but Spider-Man dodge it but got hit by the elbow to his face.
"Let's make things interesting, let's show our faces." Black Panther said.
Black Panther removed his helmet and showed his face. Spider-Man removed his mask and did the same.
"I can see in your eyes that you have will to do what's necessary. I feel the same way." Black Panther said.
"Enough talk, let's finish this." Spider-Man said.
"As you wish." Black Panther said.
Spider-Man does the spinning hook kick but Black Panther ducks and does the back sweep kick and got Spider-Man knocked off his feet as he fell. Black Panther got a hold of his leg trying to trap him but Spider-Man does a kick to the face and got freed.
They both got up and fight again, Black Panther strikes back with his claws as Spider-Man uses Wing Chun to block ever strike but one of his nails got a small scratch to his right cheek. He checks his face and see blood on his fingers. He could see that Black Panther isn't holding back and going in for the kill.
Spider-Man charged in and wrapped his legs around his head and tossed him down. Spider-Man does the axe kick until Black Panther dodged it by rolling. Black Panther does the kip up and kicked back Spider-Man. Spider-Man got up and does the mountain storm kick as it did most of the damage, Black Panther blocked but even with his suit he took most of the impact. Spider-Man jumped down and grapples Black Panther, he has his arms all restrained around his head.
"Stop right now! Don't force me to do something I don't want to do!" Spider-Man yelled.
"Do it, I can see in your eyes that you're capable of taking a life. You have me at your mercy, go ahead, do what's necessary. Do it!" Black Panther said.
Spider-Man is reminded the day that he saved Captain America's life by unintentionally taking another's life. He couldn't bring himself to take another life again. He unlocked his arms around Black Panther's neck and freed him. Black Panther got up as he coughed to get air. He's confused as to why Spider-Man spared his life even though Black Panther wanted to kill him.
"Why?... why couldn't you... kill me?" Black Panther said
"Because I'm not your enemy... and I'm not a murderer." Spider-Man said.
"You think that sparing me will get me to back down?" Black Panther said.
Spider-Man got up and took off his web shooters.
"I didn't kidnapped your sister, I'm trying to save her. I asking you to help me find her and clear my name. If you don't trust me and still believe that I'm responsible, then do what you have to do, I won't hold back." Spider-Man said.
Spider-Man offers his life for Black Panther to decide, he has hand with nails ready, he's strikes at Spider-Man until he stopped at the last second. Spider-Man didn't flinch as he doesn't fear death. Something is telling Black Panther that Spider-Man is innocent and that he could be framed by someone who has Shuri.
"You're brave... fine, I'll trust you until you can prove your innocence." Black Panther said.
Black Panther put away his claws and offered his hand, Spider-Man took it and shakes it.
"Okay, let's go find your sister." Spider-Man said.
Spider-Man and Black Panther boarded the ship as they see the Dora Milaje and Ghost-Spider trapped.
"Release her!" Black Panther said.
"My king... I don't understand." Okoye said.
"We've came to an understanding, release her at once." Black Panther said.
The Dora Milaje unlocked the restraints and freed Ghost-Spider.
"How are you Gwen?" Spider-Man said.
"I'm fine, this guy saved my life as a building collapsed on top of us." Ghost-Spider said.
"Thank you for saving my friend." Spider-Man said.
"You can repay me by helping find my sister, any suggestions?" Black Panther said.
"I might have one, can you find anything on a guy name Dmitri Smerdyakov, he could be the one who framed me and took your sister." Spider-Man said.
Okoye types in the name as the ship's hologram shows the files of Dmitri Smerdyakov AKA the Chameleon.
"Here we go, Dmitri Smerdyakov, born in St Petersburg Russia, formally the Soviet Union to be precise. Son to Sonya Smerdyakov and Nikolai Kravenoff." Okoye said.
"Kravenoff, any relations to Sergei Kravenoff?" Spider-Man said.
"Yes, they're half-brothers. He is an illegitimate son, recruited into the KGB and trained in espionage, he could sneak into places disguised as anyone, after the KGB and Soviet Union disbanded, he became a freelance mercenary and assassin." Okoye said.
"So he's working for someone, this has to be about you T'Challa." Spider-Man said.
"Any ideas who could benefit from this?" Ghost-Spider said.
"Yes... N'Jadaka, he could be behind this." Black Panther said.
"N'Jadaka?" Spider-Man said.
"He's my cousin from my father's side, he's of royal blood. He left after I made the decision of joining Wakanda with the world, he thought that it was a mistake, that everyone will come and take what's ours. He left the palace and took the heart shaped herb and some vibranium, his followers left with him. He started a separatist movement against the throne, he now goes by Killmonger." Black Panther said.
"So this all about a coup against you." Spider-Man said.
"Correct." Black Panther said.
"So how do we find them?" Spider-Man said.
"It's not gonna be easy, N'Jadaka and his followers are familiar with our tracking so they'll be invisible to it." Black Panther said.
"Wait! Is the mother of Chameleon still alive?" Ghost-Spider said.
"Yes, why?" Okoye said.
"Any chance that he calls and checks up on dear old mom?" Ghost-Spider said.
Okoye uses the network to find any information on his mother, she found something.
"As matter in fact, he still calls her, very recently. We can track the phone he used to call." Okoye said.
Okoye runs a algorithm on the phone using the Wakandan network and found its location.
"Got it, he's in the Bronx, at a warehouse." Okoye said.
"Perfect place for a base of operations." Spider-Man said.
"It won't be easy, Killmonger will have the place well guarded, if they see us they'll kill Shuri." Black Panther said.
"Then we'll go under the radar." Spider-Man said.
"We?" Black Panther said.
"Me and Ghost-Spider are going, Killmonger might think that we're both still enemies, that might give us an advantage." Spider-Man said.
"Okay, you, me, and Ghost-Spider will sneak in and take out any patrol. Okoye, you and your team will be standing by as we give the word to attack, understand?" Black Panther said.
"Yes, my king." Okoye said.
"Alright, we're all in this together." Black Panther said.
The ship left the scene as Spider-Man and Black Panther are working together to save Shuri and clearing Spider-Man's name.
In the Bronx as Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Ghost-Spider looks at the warehouse and see some men there, looked Wakandan.
"They're definitely Wakandan, this is the place." Black Panther said.
"There are a couple of look outs on the top of the building, if they see us, they'll alert Killmonger and Shuri could be killed." Spider-Man said.
"Me and Spider-Man can take out the eyes on top, you sneak in and find your sister." Ghost-Spider said.
"Alright, may Bast be with you both." Black Panther said.
"Is that the Wakandan term for 'May the force be with you'?" Spider-Man said.
"You could say that." Black Panther said.
"Okay, let's go Ghost-Spider." Spider-Man said.
"Right behind you." Ghost-Spider said.
Later as the two spotters on the roof look out, they got webbed up by Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider. They waved to Black Panther as the lookouts are taken care off.
He sneaks into the compound and managed to take down some of the men inside quietly as not to alert Killmonger.
He arrived inside to see Shuri tied to a chair.
"Shuri!" Black Panther said.
Shuri looked across and sees Black Panther, it's her brother T'Challa.
"Brother!" Shuri said.
He ran up until Killmonger and Chameleon wearing Spider-Man's suit showed themselves. Killmonger is donned in an orange vibranium weave suit that has a metal mask with horns.
"Killmonger!" Black Panther said.
"Like the suit? It's flamboyant but I like it." Killmonger said.
"This was all you! I nearly tried to kill an innocent man." Black Panther said.
"Correct, I was hoping that Spider-Man would kill you." Killmonger said.
"He nearly did, too bad it didn't work out that way. You kidnapped my sister, your cousin just to kill me." Black Panther said.
"You think that having Wakanda joined the world will make it better? You're even more naive than your father was." Killmonger said.
"Don't speak about my father! You're going to pay for all you've done." Black Panther said.
"If you want something done right, do it yourself. Let's face each other for the fate of Wakanda." Killmonger said.
"Let's end this!" Black Panther said.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider dropped in behind Shuri and rescued her. Ghost-Spider untied Shuri for the chair as Spider-Man sees someone dressed in his suits.
"So you're the Chameleon? Are you sure you want to face Spider-Man?" Spider-Man said.
Chameleon puts on the mask. "Do you?"
"I see that you've brought friends, well so did I." Killmonger said.
Killmonger's men came in with spears ready.
"So did we. General now!" Black Panther said.
Okoye and the Dora Milaje came crashing down the window and leaped down to back up Black Panther and his friends.
"Ghost-Spider, stay with the princess and protect her." Spider-Man said.
"No problem." Ghost-Spider said.
Spider-Man and Black Panther face Killmonger and Chameleon in fight as the Dora Milaje faces the forces of Killmonger.
Black Panther fights off Killmonger who drew out his swords and fights. Black Panther uses the claws as his only weapons. They traded blows as they are evenly matched with their vibranium suits providing protection against one another's attacks.
"Come on, Spidey." Chameleon said.
Spider-Man shot his webs at his until he ducked down and shots out his own poor substitute for webbing, a bola from his wrists. Chameleon fights him in hand to hand combat as Spider-Man uses Wing Chun to block ever punch he throws.
Ghost-Spider fights a couple of men swinging their spears at her. She webbed up their spears and yanked them off their hands, they charged at her as she jumps up and does the scissor kicks, she took them both out. She sees another one coming in until he got attacked and stabbed by Okoye.
"I could've taken him." Ghost-Spider said.
They see another one charging in until a spear is thrown past them and took out the man. They turn around and see Shuri is the one who threw the spear.
"What? I can fight too." Shuri said.
Shuri has the same training as her brother does should he ever die, she can take the mantle as Queen and next Black Panther.
Spider-Man managed to hold off against the Chameleon even though he is superior than he is in terms of power and combat. Black Panther continues to fight Killmonger but they fight to a stalemate.
"Having trouble fighting?" Spider-Man said.
"We're too evenly matched with our armor." Black Panther said.
"Wanna trade dance partners?" Spider-Man said.
"Let's trade!" Black Panther said.
Spider-Man and Black Panther high fives each other as Spider-Man faces off against Killmonger and Black Panther fights Chameleon.
"So you're the one who kidnapped my sister." Black Panther said.
"Nothing personal, it's just a job." Chameleon said.
Chameleon shot a bola at Black Panther and hits, he got trapped until he uses his claws to cut out and charges in as Chameleon shot more bolas at him. Black Panther ducks down and does the L-kick and hits the Chameleon. He then finished with a drop kick to the gut and hit his target. He sees Chameleon all injured and tried to get up until Black Panther punched him in the face hard, he got knocked out cold. He pulls the mask off and sees the Chameleon's face.
"That was for Shuri." Black Panther said.
Spider-Man dodges ever swing from Killmonger's swords. He webs up the swords and yanked them off. Killmonger sees Spider-Man holds his swords.
"Now you have the weapons, use them if you dare." Killmonger said.
Spider-Man tossed the swords aside.
"So you want to fight in hand to hand combat? So be it." Killmonger said.
Killmonger charged in and does the tornado kick but Spider-Man ducks down and does the back sweep kick. Killmonger got tripped off his feet and fell down. Killmonger got back up and throws in a jab until Spider-Man blocked and does a knee strike and hit him in the gut, then he thrust his elbow down at his back and hit again. Killmonger still remains standing as he is outmatched as Spider-Man runs in a does the psycho kick. Killmonger got hit in the head and fell down, he got defeated.
"Was that the same kick you used against me?" Black Panther said.
"It is, it's surprisingly effective. How's Chameleon?" Spider-Man said.
"He's down, and many of Killmonger's followers are down too, it's over. Thank you Spider-Man for saving my sister." Black Panther said.
"You're welcome, though Ghost-Spider did help with that." Spider-Man said.
"True, I owe you an apology, I was wrong to accuse you of kidnapping Shuri. I tried to kill you, can you forgive me?" Black Panther said.
"Is okay, and I'm sorry too for what could've happened." Spider-Man said.
"You chose to spare me, Captain America is right to vouch for you." Black Panther said.
"What did he say?" Spider-Man said.
"He said that you're the best hero there ever is." Black Panther said.
"Thank you. So now what? How do we fix this mess they created?" Spider-Man said.
"I have an idea." Black Panther said.
The next day as they are at the opening of the new Wakandan International Outreach center, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are being honored for the rescue of Princess Shuri and King T'Challa wants to give his thanks to them.
"It's is my honor to give a special thanks to these two heroes, Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider are recognized as friends of Wakanda for their valiant action." T'Challa said.
T'Challa and Shuri gave Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider each a medallion of Wakanda's honor. They shake hands with them as the press takes photos of Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider being honored by the King of Wakanda.
Later at the rooftop as Spider-Man and Black Panther overlook the city.
"Thank you for helping me clear my name." Spider-Man said.
"You're welcome, it's the least I can do for your brave actions." Black Panther said.
"You know that Cap was right about you. You have the makings of a hero. You ever thought about joining the Avengers? This world needs a hero like you more than ever." Spider-Man said.
"Perhaps it's is time for me to make a difference outside of Wakanda. Tell Captain America that the Avengers have a new member for their team." Black Panther said.
"Will do. What's gonna happen to Killmonger?" Spider-Man said.
"He be taken back to Wakanda to answer for his crimes against the throne. What about the Chameleon?" Black Panther said.
"S.H.I.E.L.D. is happy that we took him off the board, he's on his way to the Raft, joining the other criminals I've taken down." Spider-Man said.
They see a Wakanda ship approaching as it opens the ramp.
"My ride is here, till next Spider-Man." Black Panther said.
Spider-Man crossed his arms like an X, the way a Wakandan would greet one another.
"Wakanda Forever." Spider-Man said.
Black Panther smiled as he did the cross arms too.
"Wakanda Forever." Black Panther said.
Black Panther boarded the ship and heads back to Wakanda with Okoye and the Dora Milaje, having Killmonger as a prisoner. Spider-Man watches as the ship departed and heads back home.
Meanwhile at the apartment, Mary Jane is still doing research on the Black Widow for the role until she heard the doorbell rang. She walked up to the door and opened it. She sees Natasha Romanoff here in person.
"Hi, you must be Mary Jane Watson." Natasha saidX
"You're..." Mary Jane said.
"Natasha Romanoff, nice to meet you." Natasha introduced herself.
"Nice to meet you too." Mary Jane smiled.
