Carnage Part I
Note: This will be a two part story about Carnage and will introduce the return of Venom later in the story.
"We all are haunted by the mistakes of our past, but as much as we try to bury the past, the past comes back to us." Spider-Man narrates.
Spider-Man and Captain America continued to fight off Queen Veranke of the Skrull Empire. They held their own against her but she proved to be a formidable opponent. Queen Veranke tried to kill Spider-Man until Captain America came in and saved him. He held her off as best as he can until she got him on the ground and slam her knife down until he stopped her in her tracks. Spider-Man recovered and sees that Veranke is getting closer to killing Captain America.
"Cap!" Spider-Man yelled.
"Watch you friend die!" Veranke smiledz
Spider-Man tried to use his web shooters but they got crushed until he see the shield stuck on the wall. He picked it up and aims it a Veranke who came close to piercing her blade to his heart.
"Come on Spidey, make it count." Spider-Man said in his thoughts.
Spider-Man swings the shield at Veranke and hits, he saved Captain America but the force of the impact knocked Veranke off the tower as she fell down, she crashed onto a taxi cab and died from the fall.
Peter woke up from another nightmare. Mary Jane woke up as she sees Peter getting sweaty from the nightmare.
"Tiger, are you okay?" Mary Jane said.
Peter breathes in and out as he got up and walked towards the bathroom. He splashed some water onto his face and sees that he got another nightmare again.
"It's the nightmare again, isn't it?" Mary Jane said.
"I'm okay." Peter said.
"You know that you're a terrible liar. I can tell that you're hiding something from me." Mary Jane said.
"I'm... I'm just not ready to talk about it yet." Peter said.
"Okay... let's get some sleep." Mary Jane said.
Mary Jane grabbed Peter's hand and led him to bed, they both slept with his arm around Mary Jane.
"I wish I could tell you what really happened that day MJ. I'm just afraid that you'll see me differently than the guy you use to know. Sometimes I feel like I don't deserve you, you're perfect in every way, something I'm not." Peter said in his thoughts.
At night in ESU labs as the security guard came in patrolling the hallway, unknown to him a group of thieves sneaked in undetected. They arrived inside the lab that formally belonged to Dr. Connors who resigned and now belong to Dr. Michael Morbius.
"All right, let's go find the chemicals and get out."
The thieves look around the lab and found chemicals in the storage unit.
"Hey freeze!"
They turn around as they see the security guard pointing a gun at them. The guard was about to call in campus police until someone behind slit his throat with a blade, killed him. This guy is a red haired guy who has no remorse for taking a life.
"Hurry up! Time to get going." Cletus Kasady said.
They packed up all they can carry and left until Cletus stopped and see a containment unit that has something red and black inside.
"This might be of value." Cletus Kasady said.
He grabbed the container and took it. He and his buddies left the lab leaving the body that Kasady killed.
In the morning at Ravencroft, Dr. Ashley Kafka is reviewing the session of Eddie Brock who got committed after his defeat at the hands of Spider-Man.
"Edward Charles Allan Brock, you've been committed here nine months ago and you've improved on your session. How do you feel?" Ashley Kafka said.
"Like I'm free from the bitterness that life throws at me, I feel like a different man now. Being here has helped me recover and now I feel like I'm ready to get back into the world." Eddie said.
"That's good to hear. Eddie Brock... your release has been approved. You're free to go." Ashley Kafka said.
"Thank you Dr. Kafka." Eddie smiled.
Later as the gate of Ravencroft opened and Eddie Brock walks out, he sees someone he recognized too well.
"Anne!" Eddie said.
"Eddie!" Anne said.
Eddie and Anne hugged each other. Anne Weying is a 25 year old law student at Columbia University and a friend of Eddie Brock.
"Thank you Anne for being there for me during those tough times." Eddie said.
"Sure, that what friends are for." Anne said.
Eddie Brock is happy that he got his life back after that incident with the Symbiote. Being separated from it and its influence gave Eddie a second chance at life.
Peter and Mary Jane arrived at Empire State University to see that there are police officers at the lab complex. Peter sees Michael Morbius outside talking to George Stacy.
"Dr. Morbius." Peter said.
"Peter. I'm sorry that they'll be no work for today." Mobius said.
"What happened here?" Peter said.
"Apparently there was a robbery and a homicide here. Some thieves came in and stole most of the chemicals from the lab and killed a guard that worked the night shift." George Stacy said.
"Chemicals?" Peter said.
"Specifically the kind that's used to make drugs. This place had a storage of the ingredients needed." George Stacy said.
"Captain, we got the surveillance footage of the incident." Yuri Watanabe said.
"Let's see." George Stacy said.
They all see the robbery on the tablet as the guard pointed his gun at them until he got surprised by another individual who came behind him and slit his throat. He turns around and showed his face. Peter got shocked as he recognized the red haired man.
Flashback
Spider-Man just won the match and got his prize money .
"Easy money!" Spider-Man said.
He see someone running with a duffel bag being chased by a guard.
"Hey you! Stop him!"
This guy ran past him and reached the elevator, he smiled back as the elevator door closes.
Later Peter arrived at his house and sees that there are police there, they carry out a body bag as someone just got murdered in his home. Peter sees Aunt May crying.
"Aunt May... Aunt May, what's wrong?" Peter said.
"Peter... it's your uncle." May said.
"What happened to him?" Peter said.
"A man broke in, he wanted your uncle's car, but Ben said no. The man pulled out a gun, Ben tried to stop him and they struggled. He... he got shot." May cried.
Peter couldn't believe that his Uncle just got murdered.
Later he tracked the killer to a warehouse he's hiding out. Spider-Man got to the man and sees his face, it was the same guy from the arena he let go, he's the one who killed Uncle Ben.
"You!" Spider-Man said.
Present
"I have to go." Peter said.
Peter walked away as Mary Jane follows after him. Gwen came by for her internship as she see Mary Jane chasing after Peter as Peter is moving fast and ignoring anybody.
They find Peter in an empty classroom as they see him kick a chair in anger. They never seen Peter this angry before.
"Tiger... what's wrong?" Mary Jane said a
Peter took a deep breath. "It's him."
"That red haired guy, you know him?" Mary Jane said.
"His name is Cletus Kasady." Peter said.
"I'm guessing he's one of the guys you put away." Gwen said.
"He's more than that." Peter began to reveal the truth. "Kasady is the monster who killed Uncle Ben."
Mary Jane and Gwen are shocked to hear the news about Uncle Ben's murder.
Meanwhile at the hideout of Cletus Kasady. He and his friends sees all the ingredients needed to make drugs.
"This is more than enough to make certain drugs to sell."
"Kasady, want to see the rewards?"
They looked around and see that Kasady isn't around.
In another room, Cletus checks the container that carries some kind of slime that seemed to be alive and calling out to him.
"You want out don't you?" Cletus Kasady said.
He wonders about the slime and what it really is.
"Okay then, time to come out." Cletus Kasady smiled.
He opened the container and released the symbiote from it as it came onto Kasady and he tells something happening.
The guys in the next room hear the screams of Cletus Kasady as they rush into the other.
"Cletus, what's wrong?!"
They got attack by something red and sharp as it slice through them and killed them both. Some creature came out laughing, something monstrous, something sinister.
"Cletus Kasady is gone, now everyone who ever wronged me shall know... Carnage!" Carnage yelled.
Carnage laughed as he is now a supervillain.
At Avengers Tower as Peter, Gwen, and Mary Jane talked about the night that Uncle Ben died.
"It was four years ago, back before Spider-Man became a hero. I wanted to use my abilities to make money. I did that until that night Cletus came running out with a bag of money, I let him go that night." Peter said.
"You let that guy go and didn't stop him?" Gwen said.
"I was a different person back then, before heroes showed up. When I got home there were police there and May told me that a man broke inside and pulled a gun, my uncle tried to stop him but he got shot. I tracked the killer to a warehouse that he was hiding in. When I finally got to see his face, it was Cletus Kasady, the same man I let go and didn't stop. I wanted to kill him, to make him pay for what he'd done, but I couldn't. I let him live and he got sent away to prison for murder." Peter said.
"How did he get out?" Gwen said.
"JARVIS, gather any information on Cletus Kasady immediately." Peter said.
"At once." JARVIS searched the database. "Got it, Cletus Kasady, age 28, started out his criminal career at the age of 13, armed robbery, grand theft auto, sexual assault, arson, the list goes on."
"So this guy is straight up evil." Gwen said.
"How did he get out?" Peter said.
"According to corrections, he was serving a life sentence for the murder of Ben Parker at Ryker's." JARVIS said.
"Ryker's? That's the prison that got hit five months ago when the Enforcers freed the Sinister Six." Peter said.
"Correct, he killed a guard and took his uniform pretending to be an injured guard, by the time the prison officials noticed, he was already gone." JARVIS said.
"So he took the opportunity to escape during the chaos and now he's free and killing people, we need to find him and put him back inside." Peter said.
JARVIS got an alert.
"What's going on?" Peter said.
"There is an attack happening at the precinct in Queens, a creature resembling Venom is causing a scene." JARVIS said.
"That's impossible, Eddie Brock is locked away at Ravencroft and the Symbiote is locked in a container at S.H.I.E.L.D." Peter said.
"Whatever it is, we need to go. Kasady will have to wait. Let's go Spider-Man." Gwen said.
"Right! Let's get going." Peter said.
Peter and Gwen began to change into their costumes and swings away to Queens.
Meanwhile as Eddie Brock and Anne Weying are dining in.
"Mmm, it's been so long since I had food taste this good." Eddie said.
"So tell me how did you end up at that place?" Anne said.
"I was helped by someone who got me inside so that I could get some help. My life was complicated because of all the misfortunes I've come across and I was angry at life. But thanks to the help of Dr. Kafka, I was able to find my way back. It's also thanks to you, if it wasn't for your letters I might not have kept going. Thank you Anne for everything." Eddie said.
"To tell you the truth, it's gonna sound crazy." Anne smiled.
"Come on, tell me." Eddie smiled.
"When we were kids, I've always had this crush on you." Anne said.
"You did?" Eddie said.
"Yeah, I never said anything because i was worried that you would never taken interest in me." Anne said.
"Really, I always thought that you were cute and I never said anything because I was afraid of ruining our friendship." Eddie said.
"You thought that I was cute?" Anne said.
"More than cute, you're beautiful." Eddie said.
Eddie is happy that someone is taken interest in him, never thought that it's Anne.
At the Queens precinct, Carnage is attacking through the police as they did everything they could to push him back. His sharp tentacles came out and started stabbing policemen as he see one of them.
The policeman pulls back and he shoots at Carnage who is feeling the pain from the loud noises the gun makes. Carnage makes a bladed weapon from his hand and jumped in and slice the gun.
"What do you want?"
"What? You don't recognize me? You're one of the officers who put me away for years." Carnage said.
Carnage stabbed his blade through the officer and killed him.
"One down, so many to go!" Carnage said.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider arrived at the precinct too late as they see a lot of dead cops and some kind of creature that resembles Venom bit more thin and reddish.
"That's not Venom, but he has the Symbiote, I'm sure of it." Spider-Man said.
"So what now?" Ghost-Spider said.
"If he's anything like Venom, he'll have the same weaknesses. I have an idea." Spider-Man said.
Spider-Man enters the building and shows himself to the new guy.
"Hi there!" Spider-Man said.
Carnage turns around and see Spider-Man. Ghost-Spider reached the armory and finds the flash bangs needed.
"I remember you, we meet again." Carnage said.
"Again? Have we met before?" Spider-Man said.
"Oh... you don't recognize me. Of course, let me show you my face." Carnage said.
Carnage pulls back the Symbiotic face and shows him the face of Cletus Kasady.
"My god... Kasady! How?!" Spider-Man yelled.
"Oh this? Just happened to found it the lab, it called to me and we've bonded, we were made for each other. Now we shall have revenge on everyone who ever wronged us, I shall unleash Carnage upon them!" Carnage said.
Carnage hand forms a blade that Spider-Man could see.
"That's new." Spider-Man said.
"Oh we can more than that." Carnage said.
Carnage charged in and swings his bladed arm at Spider-Man but he dodged it in time. Carnage then unleashed multiple bladed tentacles at him as he moves and avoids them.
"Damn! I can't get close enough to hit him!" Spider-Man said.
"How the tables have turned, you were superior than me before and now I am the most superior being there ever is." Carnage said.
"We'll see about that. Ghost-Spider now!" Spider-Man said.
Ghost-Spider dropped down a flash bang as its loud noise hurts Carnage. Spider-Man gained the advantage and punched him hard in the face. Spider-Man sees that Carnage has recovered and got up.
"Is that the best you got? Let me show what I can do!" Carnage said.
Carnage charged in and face Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider. They both did their best to avoid his hits as they're getting bested by him.
"I'm disappointed, you used to have so much anger when I killed that old man." Carnage said.
"Quiet!" Spider-Man said.
"I should thank you for letting me go that day. He tried to stop me, that fool paid for it with his life." Carnage said.
"Stop it!" Spider-Man said.
"I must admit, I enjoyed every moment of killing him, watching him die slowly!" Carnage said.
Spider-Man got angry as he charged in and avoiding all of Carnage's attack as he reached him and punched hard again. Carnage fell down and Spider-Man kept punching him again and again.
"This time I'll finish you off!" Spider-Man said.
Ghost-Spider came in and stopped his fist as he is ready to take Carnage's life.
"Spider-Man, don't!" Ghost-Spider said.
"Let go off me!" Spider-Man said.
Ghost-Spider stopped him from crossing a line as Carnage managed to pushed them back and he escapes out of the precinct. They got up and chases after him, by the time they reached outside he was already gone.
"Damn it! Why did you stop me?!" Spider-Man said.
"You were gonna kill him! This isn't you!" Ghost-Spider said.
"You don't know a thing about me, what I've done!" Spider-Man said.
"What do you mean?" Ghost-Spider said.
"Nothing... let's get out of here." Spider-Man said.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider left the scene as Carnage is already gone.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider arrived back at Mary Jane's apartment.
"What happened?" Mary Jane said.
"He got away and we were too late." Peter said.
"He already killed everyone at the precinct, no one survived." Gwen said.
"You shouldn't have stopped me!" Peter said.
"Excuse me! You wanted to kill him, this isn't you!" Gwen protest.
"You think that sparring him is gonna stop him, he's not just an enhanced, he's a killer and he won't hesitate to kill anyone he wants. Next time he strikes again, you better hope that he hasn't killed before we get there, because the next person he kills could be on us! So stop playing being a child and be ready to do what's necessary to stop him, do you understand Gwen?!" Peter said.
"Can you give us some privacy please?" Mary Jane said.
"Sure." Gwen said not happy.
Gwen left the apartment and went to the rooftop, leaving Peter and Gwen to talk alone. Mary Jane isn't happy with the way Peter has been acting.
"What?" Peter said.
"That was too harsh you've been to Gwen." Mary Jane said.
"I'm just trying to show her how serious this life is, coming across monsters like Kasady is no joke. She needs to be ready to do what's necessary to stop him." Peter said.
"I get that... but there's something else going on with you, I can see it in your eyes. This has been going on ever since the invasion, you keep having nightmares. Please Tiger, whatever it is you keeping inside, let it out." Mary Jane said.
Peter took a deep breath and talked. "Remember what I told about the Skrull invasion?"
"Yeah." Mary Jane said.
"I didn't tell you the whole story. That day, me and Cap fought against Veranke and tried to get her to surrender but she wouldn't. She bested both of us, she tried to kill me until Cap stepped in and saved me. Veranke tried to use her blade and slam it on Cap's heart until he stopped her, but she still pushed her blade down to his heart. In that moment I had to act, I grabbed Cap's shield and tossed it at her. The force of the impact saved Cap but she got knocked off the window and fell. I saved Cap but I unintentionally took another person's life." Peter said.
"Peter... why didn't you tell me?" Mary Jane said.
"Because I'm ashamed. Someone is dead because of me and I haven't been able to get over that guilt." Peter said.
"Peter." Mary Jane grabbed Peter's hand and looked him in the eyes. "What you did that day saved a life from someone who didn't hesitate to kill. You're not a killer... you're a savior. Don't ever forget that Tiger."
"I'm sorry for keeping this from you, I was afraid that you might see me differently." Peter said.
"Peter, you're still the man I love, my soulmate." Mary Jane said.
Peter smiled as he felt better. "Thank you MJ."
"Now go up there and apologize to Gwen." Mary Jane said.
Peter later arrived at the top and see Gwen is still here i her costume.
"Gwen!" Peter said.
"Hey." Gwen said.
"Listen... I'm sorry I was too harsh on you. You did the right thing to stop me, thank you." Peter said.
"You're welcome." Gwen smiled.
Peter and Gwen reconcile their friendship.
At night as Eddie and Anne arrived at the apartment.
"Thank you Anne for a great time." Eddie said.
"You're welcome, I had a great time too." Anne said.
"You're amazing Anne." Eddie said:
"Well... good night." Anne said.
Eddie leaned in and kissed her on the cheek.
"What was that for?" Anne said.
"Don't know... it felt right. I'm sorry if it's not what you wanted." Eddie said.
"I don't hate it Eddie... I'm just surprised." Anne said.
"I should go." Eddie walked away.
"Eddie, wait!" Anne said.
Eddie stopped and turned around. Anne walked towards him and leaned in and kissed him. Eddie got surprised as he kissed her back.
"This is wonderful Anne!" Eddie smiled.
"Shut up and kiss me." Anne said.
They opened up the apartment door and entered it as they still kiss each other. They began to strip off their clothes and proceeded to have intercourse on the bed.
As night fell, Peter, Gwen, and Mary Jane continue to talk about Carnage.
"How did he get the symbiote?" Mary Jane said.
"Symbiote?" Gwen said.
"Yeah, last year I was bonded by an alien being that gave me enhanced strength, made me more stronger until I found out that it started to take over, turning me into a monster. I finally rejected the symbiote but it found another host to bond with. It found Eddie Brock and turned him into Venom." Peter said.
"Wait, that guy you worked with at Daily Bugle, that Eddie Brock? He's Venom?" Gwen said.
"Correct, he hated me for all the times I've humiliated him while under the influence of the symbiote. It fuel his hatred for me and drove him to do terrible things. We face each other many times with him gaining the advantage over me. Because of the symbiote's bond with me, it knew everything about me, including how to block my spider sense. That night the lizards attacked the city, I managed to stop him by separating him from the alien, leaving Eddie Brock powerless and the symbiote without a host. Eddie got sent to Ravencroft and the symbiote got locked away at S.H.I.E.L.D., that was the last time we ever heard of the symbiotes until now." Peter said.
"How did Kasady get the symbiote in the first place?" Mary Jane said.
"The lab... Dr. Connors had a sample of the symbiote that I gave him for study. It must've reproduce itself from that sample and created a new symbiote, it turned Kasady into an even bigger monster then ever before." Peter said.
"We need to stop him, any ideas?" Gwen said.
"Symbiotes are weak against loud noises and heat." Peter said.
"So we need something loud and hot, that's what you're saying." Gwen said.
"I may know something that can give us an edge i our fight against the symbiote." Peter said.
The phone rang as Peter picked it up and took it.
"What is it?" Gwen said.
"There has been an attack at Greenwich Village, the attacker's descriptions matches Carnage. We gotta go!" Peter said.
Peter went over the closet and opened the case inside, he pulled out the Iron Spider costume.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider arrived outside to see Carnage engaging against the NYPD.
"There he is, looks like he already broke inside. Let's give the boys in blue some backup." Spider-Man said.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider jumped down and lands between the NYPD and Carnage.
"Spider-Man, so you decided to switch suits." Carnage said.
"I use this one on special occasions, this qualifies as one of them." Spider-Man said.
"If you're here to stop me, you're too late." Carnage said.
"Kasady, what did you do?" Spider-Man said.
"Plenty, though you won't live for it to matter after I'm done with you both." Carnage said.
Carnage jumped up and charged at them until Spider-Man uses the Iron Spider armor to produce sonic waves as to hurt Carnage. Carnage stopped and felt the pain of the noises, Ghost-Spider came in and punched him back hard. Carnage got punched out of range of the sonic waves. He was still in pain from the noise and the hit, but he got back up.
"Like that, symbiote countermeasures. It's over Kasady, you're going back to prison." Spider-Man said.
"Never!" Carnage yelled.
Carnage picked up a car tossed it towards Spider-Man but Spider-Man couldn't move as there are officers behind him. Spider-Man caught the car and hold it. Ghost-Spider goes after Carnage as he tries to escape, he reached the subway tunnel and she followed. Carnage reached the train as he picked up a woman and tossed her onto the tracks, Ghost-Spider sees the woman and a train coming.
"Make a choice, me of her? Choose!" Carnage said.
Ghost-Spider had to let Carnage go and went to save the woman. She ran up and jumped in to pick her up as they see a train coming in. Ghost-Spider shot an web line and zipped away in time as they're both safe.
"Thank you!"
"Sure, no problem." Ghost-Spider said.
Ghost-Spider was able to save a woman from being run over by a train but Carnage escaped again.
Ghost-Spider came out of the tunnel and joined up with Spider-Man as he helped out the officers that survived against Carnage.
"Are you okay Ghost-Spider?" Spider-Man said.
"No, Carnage got away again! I had him but that coward used a woman and tossed her onto a train track. I had to save her." Ghost-Spider said.
"You did the right thing, you can't blame yourself." Spider-Man said.
"Why did he come to this house?" Ghost-Spider said.
"Let's check it out." Spider-Man said.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider entered the home and sees some bodies, one of them looked like an off duty cop and his family, his wife hugging their son, no one made it, they were too late. Ghost-Spider put her hands on her mouth as she is shocked to find a family is dead at the hands of Carnage.
Spider-Man took a deep breath. "Let's go... call it in."
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider left the house as they seen enough. Kasady already got what he'd wanted, revenge against another cop that arrested him.
Later at the hideout of Cletus Kasady. He walks in and sees the corpses of the dead friends he'd killed.
"Damn it! Those two are proving to be a problem! I can't take them both on alone!" Carnage said.
The symbiote began to feel a connection to its other half.
"Yes, I see now... I need you, I need Venom!" Carnage said.
Carnage is gonna need a partner against Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider. He need the other symbiote and it's other host.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider looked over the building as the corners collected the bodies of Carnage's victims. What they both saw is terrifying that will give them nightmares. Spider-Man noticed that Ghost-Spider hasn't said a single word since they left the house.
"Gwen... Gwen!" Spider-Man said.
Ghost-Spider turned and looked at Spider-Man.
"Are you alright?" Spider-Man said.
"Why?" Ghost-Spider said.
"Why 'what'?" Spider-Man said.
"Why did he do this? Your uncle, that security guard, those cops, that family, he... he murdered them, without hesitation, without regret. Why does he do this?" Ghost-Spider said.
"Honestly I don't know, there were already monsters like Kasady before people with powers started showing up." Spider-Man said.
"Everyone we've gone up against we're never this extreme." Ghost-Spider said.
"I know... and I'm sorry that you had to see this. When it comes to this life, you'll see and do things that can give you nightmares. We tried to save everyone we can but sometimes we can't save everyone. If we give up and if we don't find a way through this, then maybe next time no one gets saved." Spider-Man said.
"How? How do you deal with all this burden?" Ghost-Spider said.
"I wish I had a simple answer... but there isn't one." Spider-Man said.
"You tried to tell me about this before I became Ghost-Spider, didn't you? You didn't want me to suffer like you did." Ghost-Spider said.
"I wish there is a better way for you to be a hero without having to suffer, but there isn't. We can't do anything to help this family, but we can make sure to find Carnage and stop him before anyone else gets hurt or worse. That's the only thing we can do." Spider-Man said.
"Then let's go find him and stop him." Ghost-Spider said.
At the Triskelion, the island headquarters of S.H.I.E.L.D. located outside of New York City in the New York Bay. Inside the facility S.H.I.E.L.D. agents are under attack by Carnage.
"Hold back the line, don't let him reach the storage vault!"
The agents tried their best to hold back Carnage but he's proven to be too powerful as he slices through them, killing them one by one. Only one agent was left as he picked up a rifle and dual wields it with his own. He shoots at Carnage with no effect until Carnage got close and thrust his blade into his body, killing him.
He reached the storage vault where S.H.I.E.L.D. stores interesting items they collected over the years.
"Let's see what they have here." Carnage looks around.
He see the Tablet of Life and Time here.
"Nope!" Carnage said.
He sees the Cosmic Cube that glows here.
"That looks interesting." Carnage said.
He then found what he is looking for, the container that houses the symbiote that once belonged to Spider-Man and Venom.
"There you are, now we just need to find you a host to complete you." Carnage said.
Later Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider arrived at the Triskelion to find that there was a massacre. They see Nick Fury and Maria Hill.
"Fury, Hill, what happened here?" Spider-Man said.
"There was a break in, some kind of creature that looked like Venom broke inside and killed most of the agents here. He broke into the storage vault." Nick Fury said.
"Storage Vault?" Ghost-Spider said.
"Every item that S.H.I.E.L.D. has stored here, items of extraordinary power to be precise." Maria Hill said.
"What did he want here?" Spider-Man said.
"The only thing missing is the symbiote we took possession off last year after the Venom incident." Nick Fury said.
"The Venom symbiote... oh no!" Spider-Man said.
"What?" Ghost-Spider said.
"I think I know why he took the symbiote, he wants to bring Venom back. We have to go now and find Eddie Brock!" Spider-Man said.
Spider-Man and Ghost-Spider leaves the Triskelion and searches for Eddie Brock.
At the apartment of Anne Weying, she and Eddie Brock are sleeping after having intercourse, until Eddie woke up and felt happy to be himself and not Venom.
"Thank you Anne." Eddie whispered.
Eddie got up and put on his pants as he went to the kitchen and got some water. He smiled until he heard some noise coming from the living room.
"Are you awake now Anne?" Eddie smiled.
Eddie went to the living room and finds a red haired man with some kind of container.
"Who the hell are you?" Eddie said.
"Cletus Kasady." Cletus smiled until he transformed into Carnage. "But you can call me Carnage."
Eddie is shocked to see the symbiote again.
"No... no... it can't be." Eddie said.
"Oh but it can be Eddie... or should I call you Venom." Carnage said.
Eddie is shocked to find out that someone knows that he was Venom.
