Thanks for the follows and reviews. I'm glad you're liking my story so far. I'm excited to see where it goes too. I'm playing around with ideas. Here's another one. I hope you all like it.

I do not own Fairy Tail or it's amazing characters.

3.

Lucy awoke back at the estate. Her vision was a bit hazy but she managed to take in her surroundings. She was in her father's library surrounded by people she didn't know. Her father sat at his desk with his hands crossed along the table.

She looked down at the heavy garments she was wearing. It was a white dress, no, it was a wedding dress. No no no No, this can't be happening! I'm a Fairy Tail wizard. How did I get back? Wake up Lucy, wake the hell up!

She felt hands pulling her back so she couldn't run away, she screamed and thrashed, begging them to let her go.

"Lucy" she heard her name "Lucy, wake up, you're having a bad dream." She heard his voice and opened her eyes. It was all a dream?! She looked around the room, bringing her eyes back to Natsu who was sitting at her bedside.

She was a little disoriented from her dream, it all felt too real. She couldn't hold tears back. She sat up and crossed her legs on the bed.

"Why you crying Luce, do you want to talk about it?" Natsu asked in a low voice. He wanted to reach out and comfort her but he would let her come to him.

She wiped away the tears and through a few sniffles she spoke, "Sorry to wake you Natsu," she spoke softly. "Thanks for coming to comfort me, I don't really want to talk about it...do you mind staying with me until I fall back to sleep" she didn't want to talk about her dream too afraid to relive the horror of being held back and unable to escape. She didn't want to be alone either.

Natsu nodded, not exactly sure what to do, he had never been in this situation before let alone with a girl. He just sat at the edge of the bed while Lucy lay back down. He just watched her with sympathy in his eyes. She was in pain and he could feel her sadness. What could he do?

"Natsu" he heard her small voice

"Yeah,"

"Can you lay with me?" She asked, pulling the blankets up to cover her mouth. Did he hear that right? She wanted him to lay with her in his bed?! He climbed over her and lay on top of the blankets next to her. She turned her body into his and put her head to his chest. He wrapped his arm around her body and held her close. She was warm and she smelled nice.

"Thanks Natsu" she whispered into his chest.

"Of course, Lucy" Natsu held her until she finally fell asleep, he was pretty tired himself. He wasn't sure if he should leave or let sleep take him right there. When he tried to adjust himself in bed he was stopped by Lucy who moved with him and held on to him. Looks like he was sleeping there. He closed his eyes and he was out.

The dragon slayer and celestial wizard lay in each other's arms asleep.

Lucy woke trapped, she panicked remembering her dream. She shifted in bed and realized she wasn't trapped; she was in the arms of Natsu who was spooning her. She didn't want to wake him so she laid there lost in thought.

She listened to the sound of his breathing, it was in a steady rhythm. She couldn't see his face but she was sure it looked peaceful. She had no idea what time it was but it was probably pretty early. She would go and start coffee if she wasn't in the arms of Natsu.

It wasn't long before she felt him stir. He removed his arm around her, free at last, she turned around to face him. He was half asleep, his eyes not quite open all the way.

"Good morning" she sang "how'd you sleep?"

"How'd I sleep? Great, I guess! How about you?" He asked in return. He slept great, never so well in his life. He was more concerned about her, with her nightmares…

"I slept much better after you got here" she admitted turning red in the cheeks.

Her blush made Natsu blush. He didn't mind sleeping in bed with her. She was warm and fit perfectly in his arms. The two got up and out of bed. Natsu left to make coffee while Lucy made the bed and started gathering her things for the quest.

...

"Hey Natsu, what happened to you last night?" Happy was just opening his eyes as Natsu entered the room.

Starting coffee and pulling out snacks for their trip. "Oh Lucy had a bad dream, I fell asleep in there, It was pretty late. . We woke up together..." He said scratching his head. His cheeks blushed at his own words 'we woke up together'. Happy was his best buddy, he told him everything. He hoped Lucy wouldn't mind him telling Happy what happened, at least in other words. He didn't have to give every detail.

"You love her, don't you Natsu" Happy teased him. He had grabbed a fish from the fridge for his breakfast.

Before he could respond to his buddy Lucy entered. "Hey guys, are you ready for today?" She was dressed in an white and blue shirt and blue skirt, thigh high socks and black combat boots. She had her keys and whip attached to her belt. The blonde mage was ready for her first job.

"Sure are"

"Aye, sir" Natsu and Happy both said.

The fastest way to Bel Aloo was by train. Guild wizards rode free if they were going on a job. It was fairly early when they arrived. They still had time to kill before their train arrived. They sat at an open table, waiting for the train.

"I really hate taking the train" Natsu complained

"Yeah, you get pretty sick whenever we're in a moving vehicle" Happy added.

"Have you ever tried a spell or a potion to help with your motion sickness?" Lucy asked

"No, I never thought of that actually," Natsu said, feeling embarrassed that in all these years he never thought to use anything to help with his problem. He didn't think it would actually work.

Lucy pulled out a book from her bag, it was one of the few books she picked up on her journey to Magnolia. This one was about the history of spells and more. She wanted to learn about all types of magic. Hoping it will help her learn to use her spirits better. She wanted her magic to compliment whoever she was working with. She flipped through the book when she came across a chapter titled "the cure to moving sickness" she scanned the chapter.

"Maybe it was just a coincidence, Natsu, I think I can help you with your motion sickness. Once we get to Bel Aloo I'll have to go to an herb store." She said scooting closer to Natsu to show him her findings.

He took the book and read what she pointed out. "Would this actually work?" He asked

"Well, there's one way to find out," she took the book back and folded the page so she could return to it later.

Not long after the trio heard the whistle of the train. Finally it had arrived. They stood, gathered their belongings and..

"Hey guys" a familiar voice said

They all turned around to see Gray, he was thankfully fully clothed but what was he doing here, did he have a job too?

"What are you doing here, freezer brain?" Natsu scoffed, folding his arms and letting a puff of smoke escape his mouth.

Lucy was worried the two would full out brawl in the center of the train station like they did back at the guild. She had to do something or they would never make it on time.

"Hey guys, why don't we get on the train and talk about this like the grown ups we are?" She motioned for the group to get on the train. If they kept messing around they would miss it and be late to meet with the museum owner, which means they couldn't go on the job and that meant no food or rent money. She could not have that.

"Yeah, let's act like grown ups, heat miser." Gray teased the fire wizard. Natsu was about to pound the ice wizard when he was stopped by Lucy's hand touching his arm.

"Okay you guys," Lucy was getting irritated, she moved in between them, her hand still holding onto Natsu. "So Gray, what brings you here anyways? Going on a job?" she asked, changing the subject.

"Oh, Mira actually asked me to go with you guys. She thought it would be good for Lucy's first job." He told them.

"But we can handle this without your help," Natsu huffed under his breath.

"Well, wasn't that nice of her, I guess it wouldn't hurt if you tagged along," Lucy agreed that it would be a good idea to have an extra hand. Even numbers are always better than odd.

Staying optimistic for Natsu, who wasn't entirely thrilled about adding another member to their team. He wanted it to be just them, spending time with his new friend, he wasn't ready to share. And why Gray, Mira knew that they didn't get along.

The train whistled and the train attendant stood outside the doors, "LAST CALL, THE TRAIN WILL DEPART IN 5 MINUTES." He yelled loud enough for all to hear.

Lucy, Natsu, Happy, and Gray all made it on board in time. Barely. Picking their seats quickly. Lucy took the window. Natsu sat next to her and Gray on the opposite side facing them. Happy sat on Natsu's lap.

Not even five minutes later the train started moving and Lucy noticed Natsu's face turn green. Does he really get sick that fast? They just started moving! This was going to be a rough ride. How does he do it, or does he just walk everywhere? He was on foot when they met. Making the motion sickness charm will definitely come in handy. That will be at the top of the list. Hopefully they have some time in town.

"Uhh, Natsu, are you okay?" Lucy asked in concern. He looked like he was going to pass out or hurl.

"Uhhh, i'll be fine, just feeling a little sick…" He responded the best he could while controlling his breathing. He leaned his head back and eventually fell asleep.

Lucy pulled out her book and continued to read, eager to learn more. Happy was sleeping on the seat next to Gray, he had to move out of Natsu's lap once the train started moving.

Gray just looked out the window watching the scenery pass by. He wasn't sure why he was even there. It was true Mira asked him to go but he didn't have to. Maybe it was just something to do. He also enjoyed messing with Natsu, he enjoyed the rivalry. It helped him to grow stronger as a wizard.

After a while Lucy felt something fall against her shoulder, it was Natsu. He must be in a deep sleep. Probably for the best. The train ride would not be fun watching him suffer. He looked so peaceful resting his head against her shoulder. She could feel him breathing reminding her of this morning waking up next to him in his arms. She blushed at the thought. She didn't realize Gray caught her blush.

"What are you all turning red for?" he asked her suspiciously. Lucy was embarrassed. Why did he have to see that? "Uhh" she was flustered by being caught, "I-I just thought of something that's all."

"Mhm, it doesn't have to do with the hot head next to you, does it?" He said.

Oh shit, she was caught, how did he know? Her face turned bright red. Her reaction was all Gray needed for his answer.

"So you have a crush on Natsu, huh" he teased her, he was going to have a lot of fun messing with the two this trip.

"I don't know what you're talking about." She said looking out the window trying to think of anything else. She knew the conversation wasn't over but she was done talking with Gray about it for now. Yeah, she liked Natsu. He was amazing. He was strong, funny, kind and had a smile that lit up her world. He had even saved her. They had only just met though. She didn't see him as anymore than a best friend. Plus what did she know about relationships? She was just starting to learn what friendship meant, let alone having feelings for a boy.

"Alright, alright I get it, so how did the two of you even meet? You seem pretty close?" He asked.

Lucy told him the short version of the story, she thought she told him yesterday at the guild but she was so overwhelmed and overjoyed she couldn't remember. Gray didn't say much after they talked and the rest of the ride was spent in silence. Lucy had her nose in her book, both Natsu and Happy remained asleep and Gray wrote in a small journal that he kept in his coat pocket.

...

The train ride from Magnolia to Bel Aloo lasted about two hours. Once the train had stopped and passengers started to exit the train Lucy shook Natsu softly to wake him. "Natsu, we're here, it's time to wake up." She said while shaking him again when he didn't wake the first time. Natsu slowly opened his eyes and sat up straight. "Did I really sleep the whole time?" He said with a yawn. The dragon slayer stretched his limbs and stood.

"Yeah, you slept the whole way on Lucy's shoulder," Happy said, sitting on top of Natsu's head.

"What do you know cat, you slept the whole way too." Lucy said, turning pink in her cheeks. She didn't mind Natsu napping on her and the closeness they shared. She wasn't sure about her feelings and she definitely didn't want to be teased about it before her first job.

"Well, the cat speaks the truth," Gray added.

"It was the best nap i've had in a long while. Thanks for letting me sleep on you, Luce." Natsu assured her. The two looked at eachother, Lucy turning more red than pink and Natsu sporting slight pink himself. Maybe she was starting to develop feelings for him.

"Ahem" Gray interrupted, they were still on the train and they needed to be on their way.

The town of Bel Aloo, wasn't as big as Magnolia, the buildings were smaller. Lucy still admired the town, it had so many flowers and statues. She wanted to know more about the history, good thing they were going to a museum where she could learn all she wanted. They passed clothing stores, and street vendors selling produce and flowers. A few restaurants and a park. The town of Bel Aloo did not have a wizard guild as many of the smaller towns did not.

They were making their way to the museum when Lucy spotted an herb store, remembering the few ingredients that she needed to make Natsu's motion sickness charm. She looked at her watch, they still had plenty of time before they needed to be at the museum.

"Guys, wait up, i'm going to go into this store real quick, wait for me or don't." She told them.

"Wait, Lucy," Natsu said, following after her. She didn't slow but Natsu caught up to her with ease. Looks like the whole group was going with her. Even Gray who hasn't said much since they arrived.

The inside of the store was dark, very little lighting. It had all types of herbs and other magical knicknacks. She only needed a few things to make the charm. "So what are we getting?" Natsu asked her. "Oh, remember when I told you about the motion sickness charm? This place should have what I need," She told him smiling. "Oh really? Thanks lucy,"

"She must looove you" Happy snickered, getting a laugh from Gray who apparently was the only one to hear.

The store had so many earthy smells and it was packed full, she thought it would be easier to find what she needed. Walking past a table of assorted mushrooms and vials containing some sort of liquid she was caught off guard by an older woman with grey hair and oversized glasses. "Can I help you deary?" She asked.

Lucy looked up at her and half smiled, "Uhh, I hope so, I am looking for a few herbs, pennyroyal, Agrimony, Mugwort, Angelica, I'll also need some cord and oh, do you have any charms?" she asked, the older woman. The woman gave her a thinking face, "Aww, yes, come with me." She took Lucy to the back of the store and showed her where to find what she was looking for. "We have charms up by the register and the cord can be found over there," She pointed over to a shelf. Lucy gathered every herb she needed and picked out black cord that would work perfect for what she was making.

At the counter she noticed Natsu, Gray and Happy all standing around outside waiting for her, they must have gotten bored and left, or maybe the smells were too overpowering for Natsu's sense of smell. Looking through the charms she found the perfect one that she could infuse the herbs into. It was a dragon of course, she grabbed a few more charms too, just to have and a bag of beads.

"Find everything you were seeking, deary?" The same old woman asked, ringing up Lucy's items. "Oh yes, and more, thank you for your help, it's much appreciated." Lucy thanked the older woman. "You must be making something for someone special" she asked, Lucy didn't even think she remembered telling the old woman what she was doing with her findings. Or maybe she did, no she was sure she only asked for what she needed. "Umm, yeah, I am making a charm bracelet to help my friend who has severe motion sickness." Lucy told her.

She paid the old woman and put everything into her bag, she left the store. The boys were outside talking about something, and of course Gray was shirtless.

"Uhh, Gray, your shirt?" Lucy said approaching the group. "What, how'd that happen?" Gray said, looking for his shirt. It was tied around his waist. He untied it and put it back on.

"Find everything you were looking for," Natsu asked her as they all started to walk again. "Yeah, and more, I'm excited, I just hope I do it right. It didn't seem too complicated but it will be my first time making a charm." The blonde admitted. "I'm sure it will turn out great Lucy," Happy said, flying with the group. "Thanks Happy, that was kind of you,"

...

The gang continued through the town until they finally reached the museum with time to spare. The museum was huge, it had a Garden out front with a fountain. Columns lined the staircase up to the front doors. They walked up the stairs only to be greeted by a tiny woman wearing a black dress and her hair in a high ponytail. "Hello, you must be Fairy Tail, I am Zara Mr. Rishi's assistant. He has been expecting you. Right this way." she said turning away from the group and walking into the museum.

She hadn't given anyone one a chance to talk. They all looked at each other nodded and followed the woman inside. Eager to find out about the treasure hunt.
