Let me just say I have been really enjoying this story, I know I am not the best writer and my ideas are not always clear but I am pretty content with it all so far. Thanks for sticking around. Thanks to those who have just started following.

"What are you grinning about?" Lucy asked once Natsu sat down beside her. Happy started chuckling. "Okay, what did you two do?" She was sure that those two either pissed someone off or broke something of someones.
"Oh come on Luce why do you think we did something?" he and Happy both snickered. "Because you two are definitely up to something, it's written all over your faces." She was giving them a menacing stare, waiting for them to admit to what they did.
"I can wait here all day, you know I am going to find out!" she crossed her arms and put her nose to the air. Natsu was going to tell just he just needed to add the element of suspense.
"Alright Lucy, i'll tell yeah but you gotta promise to keep it a secret, okay?" she nodded, "Fine agreed, just tell me!" she begged grabbing onto his arm. He leaned in to whisper in her ear. "Happy and I are taking you on an S class job!" he kissed her cheek. Lucy's eyes widen. "YOU WHAT?"
"Shh, Lucy keep it down, you promised to keep it a secret, so you can't go shouting. Why don't we head back to your apartment to pack?" She nodded. Once outside the breeze felt nice, Natsu grabbed Lucy's hand as they walked back to her place.
'Damn him, we are going to get into so much trouble!' She thought palming her forehead with her free hand. "Natsu, why would you do that? You know we are forbidden to take on an S class quest, it could be dangerous and what happens if Erza or the Master find out? We could wind up dead either way."
"I think we are plenty ready, what do you think Happy?" he looked to the feline.
"Aye, we will prove we are S class ready!" Happy flexed his cat muscles. Lucy couldn't help but laugh at the two. "I guess there is no arguing with you about this one is there?" she asked.
"Nope, we are going on an S class quest!" Natsu said nodding."Oh brother," Lucy sighed. "So where are we going anyways?"
"To the cursed Galuna Island." He and Happy both said with creepy grins.
"CURSED? I am definitely not going!" she let go of Natsu's hand stopping right in their tracks. Natsu and Happy both stopped and turned to her.
"Come on Lucy, I'll give you have my fish?" Happy offered.
"That doesn't even sound tempting, Happy"
"It sounded like you wanted to go before?"
"Yeah, that was before I knew that we were going to a cursed island," She was now standing with her arms crossed in the middle of the sidewalk. They were only a few blocks from her place.
"Natsu, maybe you should show her the flyer." Happy suggested. Natsu shuffled through his pockets until he pulled out a crinkled up piece of paper. He tried to straighten it out before handing it over to Lucy. "Here ya go"
Lucy stared at the piece of paper absorbing the information. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THE REWARD WAS A GOLDEN KEY, NOT TO MENTION 7 MILLION JEWEL, YOU HOT HEAD!" she punched Natsu in the arm playfully. Laughing, he knew this is how she would respond. "So it looks like the quest is a go?" She shook her head yes.

Back at the guild, Mira was frantic, "MASTER" she called out. "One of the 'S' class requests is missing." she told him. "WHAT? Who would be dumb enough steal one?" he asked non-rhetorically.
"Do you even have to ask?" a few of the guild members said.
"I can confirm, I saw a blue cat up here a few hours ago.." said a booming voice.
"Laxus, you're back?" The master said. Laxus had been gone with the thunder legion for some time now, he had no idea when he would be back.
"So, it's true, hmm, Natsu and mostly likely Lucy? Mmm, Mira what quest did they take?" Mira had a look of concern in her eyes. "The cursed island" The master went wide eyes. "THE DEMON ISLE?"
"Laxus, if you knew, why didn't you stop them or mention it to anyone in the guild?" Mira questioned him.
"I don't see how that is my problem?" Laxus said. The master gave him a stern look. "LAXUS! Go bring them back, that's an order."
"Old man, I may be your grandson but I don't take orders from you. I got my own life and jobs to worry about."
"I'll bring em back." Gray chimed in.
"You Gray? You sure you are strong enough to bring Natsu back by force if needed?" Master Makarov questioned the ice wizard.
"Sure, I am always up for a challenge plus flame brain doesn't hold anything over me. I'll kick his ass if I need too."
...
At the port of Hargeon, Lucy and Natsu walked through the streets. "Doesn't this place bring back memories?" Lucy asked with a giant smile on her face. "This is where we first met, remember?"
"Doesn't seem that long ago does it?" Natsu replied putting his arm around her.
"Alright, the first order of business is to find a boat, you still go your charm with you?"
"You betcha" he gave her a smile.
They walked along the water hoping someone would give them a ride. "GALUNA ISLAND, you folks must be crazy?" One person said. "I refuse, sailors around here don't even mention the name." said another. Lucy sighed. "At this rate we will have to swim?"
"I don't mind going for a swim!?"
"Natsu, you're crazy if you think I am going to swim miles to a cursed island." she sighed again. They had found a spot to sit down, on the docks. Lucy taking off her pack to grab a drink of water. "We'll find a boat, we just need to keep asking around." he assured her.
"FOUND YOU GUYS"
"AHH" Lucy screamed, turning around to see who was there. "GRAY?"
"What are you doing here ice princess?" Natsu frowned.
"I came here to drag your asses back to the guild, Master's orders."
"How did they find out already?" Natsu mumbled. Lucy was nervous, if they already found out who knows what the punishment would be. "I'm not going back. Lucy and I are going on this quest and you can't stop us."
"If you come back now I am sure the punishment wont be so bad, maybe you wont be expelled..." Gray said.
"EXPELLED?! NOWAY!" Lucy was shocked there was no way they would actually be kicked out, right?
"What happens if Erza finds out?" Gray shuddered at the mental image he had formed in his mind.
"I'll deal with her when it comes times but for now we gotta catch a boat."
"I'm taking you back to the guild, don't blame me if you get hurt!" Gray taunted.
Natsu grabbed a hold of Gray by his collar. "You tryna fight me right now ice princess?"
"We both know who will win!" Gray said as he punched Natsu in the stomach causing him to fall forward.
"You guys, wait a minute, you can't fight here." It was too late the boys were exchanging blows knocking over buckets and barrels. Getting tangled up in ropes.
"Excuse me, would you all be wizards?" Said a voice. Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned to look at the mysterious man.
"Who are you?" Natsu asked as he was holding on to Gray in a head lock.
"I am just a fisherman, you wouldn't be heading to Galuna Island now would ye?"
"Uh, yeah" Lucy replied, "How'd ya know?"
"I over heard ye talking about it, you wouldn't be going to lift the curse?" the fisherman asked throwing a net into his boat. "Well, actually yes, we are from Fairy Tail." Natsu told the man.
"I am heading that way, why don't I take you?" he said.
"There's no way I am letting you on that boat, I am taking you back to the guild." Gray countered, not paying any attention to Natsu he was caught off guard. Natsu had sent a firey kick in his direction knocking him out.
"NATSU! Was that really necessary?" Lucy had her hands on her hips shaking her head.
"Help me get him on board Lucy. If he goes back to the guild you know who will come for us next." Now Lucy had the mental image of Erza sending them all to their doom.
"You know he is going to be pissed once he wakes up." She said.
"I know, but something tells me he is going to come around and help us."
The had sailed miles out to sea when an island came into view. "See there, that is the cursed island,"
"Say, why did you agree to take us anyways?" Lucy asked the man.
"Well you see, my name is Bobo, I am from that island but I escaped the horrible demon curse." he raised his arm from under his large cloak and reveled his demon arm.
"No way!" Lucy was shocked, so there really was a curse, how were they going to lift something like that?
"That's so cool do you have any other demon parts?" Natsu asked.
"Natsu, that's rude, you can't ask people that." she gawked at him.
"I was just curious."
Gray had woken up. "HEY UNTIE ME" he yelled. Lucy untied the rope and figured there was no escape now, they were almost there.
"Since your with us can we count on your help, Gray?" Natsu asked.
Gray rolled his eyes. "Yeah, whatever,"
"Hey Mister, I've been meaning to ask yo- WAIT WHERE DID HE GO?" Lucy was confused, he was just there a minute ago there was no way he just disappeared.
"Maybe he jumped overboard?" Happy said.
Just then a giant tidal wave knocked their boat over sending them all screaming and into the water. Natsu was able to find Happy and Lucy under the strong current and bring them to the surface. "You okay?" he asked them.
Lucy coughed up some water and wiped the water out of her eyes. "Yeah, i'm okay, you?"
"Yeah, i'm fine."
"Looks like we get to swim after all." Lucy complained, she looked around, "Have you seen Gray?" Natsu looked around too but didn't see him surface. "GRAY?" he called out.
"I'm over here" They heard a faint yell call out to them. Looking in the distance Gray had already managed to swim a shore.
Once everyone was on the island, they checked out the surrounding area. "Everything seems fine." Lucy said."We should get to the headman of the village though."
"And where exactly is that?" Gray asked.
"Not sure, Happy fly up and see what you can spot from above." Natsu asked the feline.
"Aye sir" Happy flew off into the sky.
...
Happy came back with good news, there was a small village not to far from where they were. They took on of the trails heading North in the direction Happy said the village was in. They trail was overgrown, there were all sorts of plants and trees they had never seen before. Even the wild life was different. Lucy was still not thrilled about this job that they weren't even supposed to be on but she was glad she came, it was moments like these that she was glad she was a Fairy Tail wizard and she was sure glad she met Natsu.
"Whatcha thinking about?" he asked her.
"Oh just how amazing jobs can be, even the forbidden ones. This place is amazing." she replied.
"You guys I think we are here," Gray said, "I can see a gate up ahead."
KEEP OUT
The sign on the gate said. "HELLO, IS SOMEONE THERE? COULD YOU OPEN THE GATE? WE ARE HERE TO HELP." Lucy yelled hoping someone would hear and let them in.
"Lets just break the door down?" Natsu suggested getting Lucy, Gray and Happy to glare at him. "WHAT?"
"No, I don't think so." she said.
"Pyro, that's a terrible idea, aren't you here to help these people?" Gray said.
"WHO GOES THERE?" A voice from above called down to them.
"We are from the Fairy Tail Guild, we saw your request and we came to help."
"Fairy Tail, eh, we never got word that someone took our request." said the voice.
"Really? Maybe there was a delay, cause we're here and ready to lift this curse." Gray said.
"Prove that you are from the guild Fairy Tail?" Everyone showed off their emblems. The gates opened and they walked on in.
Inside the village they noticed the people were all wearing capes and cloaks hiding their bodies and faces. "These poor people." Lucy whispered. Natsu heard her. "Lucy, don't worry about them now, we are going to lift this curse so these people can go on living their lives."
"Right," she smiled at him.
"I bid you welcome wizards from Fairy Tail, I am the headman Moka, now I must tell you about the curse. Everyone remove your coverings." Everyone did as the headman asked them reveling what the curse had done. Lucy, Gray, Natsu and Happy gasped at the sight.
"Almost every living creature on this island has been afflicted by this curse,"
"I don't mean to be rude, but how do you know it's a curse, couldn't it just be some disease?" Gray asked.
"We have been to many doctors, but they have never seen a disease like this before, they all said it was a curse. Besides, it's the moon that has something to do with this curse. This island is known for gathering in the moonlight, glowing as bright and beautiful as the moon itself. Several years ago the moon suddenly started to turn purple, which then caused us to transform.
"Speaking of the moon, its coming out now." Happy said.
"It really is purple." Lucy said
"The demon curse of the moon magic." said the headman.
As the moon rose higher into the sky, the villagers one by one started to transform taking the form of a demon beasts. "We don't mean to alarm you but this is what the curse has brought us. We just want to get back to normal, please help us and destroy the moon!"
"DESTROY THE MOON" The fairy tail members all said.
...
Back in a hut that the villagers allowed them to stay for the duration of there stay. They all sat around discussing a plan. "You know we can't destroy the moon." Lucy said twirling a strand of her hair. "Well of course we can't." Natsu said. "There's got to be a way to lift the curse without destroying the moon."
"Tomorrow we should search the island and look for anything suspicious. Maybe even question some of the villagers. Maybe someone knows something?" Gray stated.
"Right, sounds like we got ourselves a plan." Natsu said.
"The moon is really creepy the longer you look at it." Happy said wagging his tail looking out the window.
"Do you think it's possible that if we stay out in the moonlight that we would be affected by the curse?" Lucy asked nervously.
"No, I don't think so, these people have been under the moon for years now. If all goes right we will only be here a few days." Gray responded.
"Yeah, there is no way a purple moon is going to turn this dragon slayer into a demon..." he yawned causing a chain of yawns to go around.
"Looks like it's bed time." Lucy announced. "Tomorrow we got work to do."
...
Lucy woke early to get ready for day. "It's too early Lucy, I need five more minutes." Natsu complained rolling over and going back to sleep. She nudged him, "Come on Natsu, we have an S class quest to go on." he rolled back over to look at her. "You're right, i'll get up." She gave him a quick kiss and went back to getting ready.
They were on their way out of the village grabbing some fruit to eat for breakfast along the way. Outside the village they had many paths to choose from. "Natsu what does your nose say?" she asked,
"My nose?"
"Yeah, I am asking what path to take."
"Lets go down this one" he took the right path.
"Are you sure about that flame brain?"
"No, I am not sure, but we gotta start somewhere."
They walked for a mile before they stopped to survey the area and to take a quick bathroom break.
Crunch
KSSH
"Wh- what was that?" Lucy asked nervously.
The crunching and rumbling started to grow louder then something came burrowing through the trees.
"A RAT?" Natsu yelled.
"IT'S HUGE!" Gray said.
"HURRY UP AND DEFEAT THAT THING!" Lucy yelled at them, "AYE, if you don't we are all going to be rat food." Happy added.
"ICE MAKE SHIELD" Gray used his magic to form a shield in front of them but the rat started to blow something out of it's mouth at them. knocking them all to the ground. "THAT SMELL"
"It's awful' Lucy said holding her nose.
"WHAT IS THAT?"
"I don't know but we gotta get out of here!" Natsu ran over to help Lucy up and pulled her along.
"Tsk, ICE MAKE FLOOR" Gray was trying to slow the beast down to make their get away.
"Nice work, Gray" Natsu called out, normally he would fight but he had to get Lucy to safety. The rat was still chasing after them, "Look, there's a building over there." Lucy pointed out. "Lets make a break for it while we still can." Natsu let go of her hand. "You and Happy go" he told them. "Gray and I are going to take care of this huge rat"
"FIRE DRAGON IRON FIST"
"ICE MAKE GEYSER"
The rat laid unconscious as the boys ran to the building that Lucy was waiting for them in. "Great work you two." she gave them a thumbs up and a smile. "So you can work with each other." Happy said.
"You guys got to check this place out, it's huge." Lucy said.
"It's falling a part." Natsu said looking around.
"I wonder what age this place was built in." Gray commented.
"Hey would you look at that mark? It looks like a crescent moon." Natsu stopped to look at the carving along the wall.
"You know it's said that this island was called the island of the moon back in the day." Gray told them.
"Hmm, island of the moon, cursed moon, moon symbols, something about this ruin doesn't feel right if you ask me." Lucy wondered.
"Lucy look at this!" Happy was holding up a bone.
"What are you a dog now? Only dogs find bones."
"This place really is a mess, I wonder if the floor is safe." As Natsu spoke he started jumping up and down testing the floor. "HEY, would you cut that out." Lucy yelled at him. "I swear sometimes yo-." The ground started to crack underneath them.
"You idiot" Gray called him as they started to fall through the floor.
"DAMN IT NATSU." It was a short fall, Lucy had landed on top of Natsu who landed on top of Gray. "WOULD YOU GUYS GET OFF" he said pushing them aside so he was free.
"Is everyone alright?" Lucy asked. She looked around but it was dark, only the light from the hole they created above was giving them light. "Uhh, where are we?" she asked.
Natsu lit a flame, "Looks like we are underground." he said.
"Thanks genius, got anymore bright ideas?" Gray tested him.
"We might as well check it out since we are here right?" Lucy suggested to them. "Secret cave here we come" Natsu said excitedly. He started to walk forward and took a turn. "UHHH GUYS!"
Lucy and Gray were not far behind him but there jaws dropped at the sight in front of them. "LOOK AT THIS HUGE MONSTER FROZEN IN ICE!"
"WHAT, DELIORA!? TH- THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!"
"Wait, Gray, you know what this monster is?" Lucy asked stunned.
"THERE'S NO WAY DELIORA COULD BE IN A PLACE LIKE THIS!" Gray was freaking out and past memories began to haunt his mind.
"Gray, get a hold of yourself." Happy said.
"Gray are you going to tell us what this is about?" Natsu asked him, "How do you know this monster in ice?"
"That monster is Deliora, The Demon of Disaster."
He began to tell them the tale of how he knew the monster and why he was shocked to see it in a place like this since it all happened so long ago, Gray was cut short when they heard voices approaching. "Someone is coming," Natsu said.
"Let's hide and spy on them." Lucy said ducking behind a large chunk of ice. They boys followed her lead and there they waited for the voices and faces to come into view.

I was wondering do you guys like when I write chapters like this? Following the manga/anime I mean? I like taking them, changing it up a bit and adding to it, making it silently different, especially since Natsu and Lucy are together in my story. This one might be 2-3 chapters long is that okay? Do you prefer longer chapters or shorter ones?
