Mila attempted to take Ichika down herself in order to keep her brother's company from falling into Peggrin's hands. Although Ichika managed to convince her to fight alongside him, he now has to face a new opponent in a duel. The bizarre part is that his opponent is Conner Knight, especially when it seemed like that Conner fell to his demise earlier.

"This makes no sense. Why is Conner fighting on Peggrin's side?" Houki said as the duel was moved to an open field.

"It is rather strange. Peggrin is trying to take his company. Why would he just hand it over to Peggrin?" Charlotte asked.

"On top of that, he doesn't look that well. He looks like he came back from the dead." Cecilia said. She has no idea how accurate that might be.

"Ichika, don't fall for it! That's not my brother!" Mila said as she was being held prisoner by one of Peggrin's henchmen.

"That is Conner Knight. Remember, Orimura. You win, the girl goes free." Ichika is aware of the stakes, but he found this all strange that Conner is doing all of this.

"Conner, what is this all about?" Ichika said. "Why have you sided yourself with Peggrin when he's trying to take your company? Not to mention that he's holding your beloved little sister captive."

"That's easy. All I care about is getting revenge on you, Orimura." Conner said. "I'm going to have my revenge. That's all that really matters to me."

"That just proves that he's not my brother!" Mila said.

"Come on, Orimura. Let's settle the score once and for all." Conner said. Ichika didn't understand what was going on, but this might be the only way to save Mila and find out the truth as to what happened to Conner.

"I don't know if you're the real Conner, but I will still face you for Mila." Ichika said as he stepped forward. Both of them activated their duel disks and they got ready to go.

"Let's begin, Ichika. I'm wagering just two stars." Conner said.

"Two stars it is. Now, let's begin!" Ichika said as they were all set to go.

"Let's duel!" They both said as it started with 4000LP.

"I think I'll start this duel." Conner said. "I'm sure you remember this card, don't you, Orimura? I summon Cave Beast to the field." Conner summoned the same cyclops he used in their last duel, all 1200atk points, the very same monster from when they first dueled.

'Conner used that same creature in our last duel.' Ichika thought. It did seem convenient, but it wasn't enough to convince Ichika that he's dueling the real thing. "This means nothing. Just because you have the same card the real Conner has doesn't mean you are Conner. Mila says you're not Conner and I agree."

"Don't worry. I'm sure you'll be convinced soon enough." Conner said. "I place two cards facedown and that ends my turn."

"My move!" Ichika said as he drew the card. 'I don't know what the deal is, but that can't be the real Conner. The only way to find the truth is to keep the duel going.' "I summon Infinite Stratos Shenlong!" Ichika summoned out Shenlong with it having 1500atk points. "I now use Shenlong's ability. I am able to look at one face-down you have for every Infinite Statos I have. Shenlong might be my only monster, but I will be able to see at least I might have an idea as to what you're planning. Let's take a look at one of those cards." Shenlong fired an energy blast and revealed one of Conner's face-downs. It was a trap called Disruptive Interruption.

"Disruptive Interruption?" Houki said. "That trap can block any damage at least three times. That could be a problem."

"Even so, I will push on with the attack!" Ichika said. "Shenlong, attack Cave Beast with Impact Blast!" Shenlong unleashed a blast and blasted Conner's monster with it.

"Then, I activate Disruptive Interruption! This trap prevents me from taking any damage!" Conner said as he officially activated his trap. "That means I can activate my second trap. I activate Negative Feedback! When you destroy one of my monsters, but I blocked you from taking damage, this trap reflects the damage you would have dealt me with double the power!" An energy blast went at Ichika and he got hit with his life points dropping to 3400. "Ironic, ain't it. You used a similar technique when you defeated me."

"You mean when I defeated the REAL Conner. Not you." Ichika said. "I place one face-down to end my turn."

"My turn! I draw!" Conner said as he drew his next card. "You think I'm not the real Conner? I think you're about to change your mind once you see this." There's only one card that Ichika could think of that might convince him of that being Conner.

"You don't mean..." Ichika said.

"That's right." Conner said. "First, let me set the field. I summon Twin Balance Beast!" He summoned a twin-headed werewolf-like creature, one side black and the other side white. It also had 1400atk points. "Next, I can use my beast's special ability. If I have a level seven or higher light or dark monster in my hand, I can release my beast and summon it! Behold, the all-mighty and all-powerful White-Eyes Silver Dragon!" Conner released his beast and summoned out his infamous dragon with all 3000atk points.

"It can't be..." Mila said as all of them were quite shocked at what they saw.

"Only one person in the world has that dragon!" Ichika said.

"Now do you believe I'm the real Conner? That means that I'm really going to have my revenge on you." Conner said. None of this seemed quite right.

Peggrin

While Ichika and his friends were struggling over the fact that they might be dealing with the real Conner, Peggrin and Crone were enjoying the show.

"Marvelous. Ichika might have met his match against Conner. We'll see if he just got lucky or if he really has the skill to beat Conner." Peggrin said.

"Excuse me, sir. I'm a little confused. Our men said that Conner Knight fell to his demise." Crone said. "So, how can Mr. Orimura be dueling him right now?"

"That's my little secret Peggrin. Just enjoy the show." Peggrin said. Peggrin clearly knows something and that would be that Ichika's and Mila's first instincts were right.

Conner

The truth was that the real Conner was still alive. He actually tricked Peggrin's goons and managed to give them the slip. Conner has been away for a while, but he's getting himself back in the game. As two of Peggrin's men stood guard over a house, Conner was getting ready to make his move. Conner moved as fast as he could and knocked the two of them out.

"Never thought I had to break into one of my own houses." Conner said. He hid the two of them away and entered the house. Conner is a rich guy, but he always makes sure he had a place to do some work. Once Conner made his way in and went to a door on the upper level. He input a code and the door unlocked. The door locked again and he activated extra measures to barricade himself in. Once he was secured, he got to work on a supercomputer.

"Well, I haven't seen you here for a while." The computer said.

"Save the hellos." Conner said. "I've been away for a while. There seems to be a lot going. What can you tell me about Peggrin's recent activities that he would want me out of the way."

"Let me see." The computer said as it ran a quick scan. "It doesn't appear to be good. Given your recent defeat and your aloof behavior lately, Peggrin saw this as an opportunity to strike a deal. He's trying to take control of your company."

"Over my dead body." Conner said.

"Interesting choice of words." The computer said. "Anyway, Peggrin has taken your little sister hostage to help maintain control. Of course, nothing has been made official yet. The deal claims that if Peggrin can defeat Ichika Orimura, or someone who works for him can, the power transfer is complete."

"Orimura? What does he have to do with this?" Conner said.

"Well, he is the guy that beat you. It's created some kind of power vacuum." The computer said. "Anyway, it only happens if Orimura loses."

"I won't allow Peggrin to take my company without a fight." Conner said. "I better make sure Ichika is doing well. Hack into Peggrin's systems for his little tournament. Lock on to Orimura's duel disk."

"I had a feeling you would go there. I'm already in." The computer said as Duel Island appeared on the school. "At the moment, Ichika is doing well. He already managed to obtain five stars. It looks like he's currently dueling right now. Weird. Look who he's dueling?" The computer pulled up the stats of the duel and Conner saw his name there.

"What is this? A joke?" Conner said.

"Don't look at me. This guy even played your dragon." The computer said.

"I did leave my deck behind, had no choice. It has to be some sort of imposter." Conner said. "We better start forming a plan to make sure Ichika wins. Trying to take my company is bad enough, but I'm not letting Peggrin use my deck like that." The real Conner began to work. That just leaves one question. Who could Ichika really be dueling?

The Duel

"What's wrong, Ichika? Aren't you happy to see my dragon again?" The imposter said, but Ichika believes that is really Conner because only Conner could have that dragon. "Now do you believe I'm the real Conner?"

"If you're the real Conner, why would you even work with Peggrin when he's holding your sister captive and trying to take your company?!" Houki called.

"That's right. It makes no sense." Charlotte said.

"Why would I care about that?" Conner said. "I have a chance to redeem myself against Ichika. That's all that matters to me."

"That's a lie!" Mila called. "You're not my brother! Stop acting like him! Ichika! That's not Conner. I know he might seem like a jerk sometimes, but he's got a good heart. That isn't my brother! You've got to believe me!"

'I want to, but only Conner has that dragon.' Ichika thought. 'Then again, I don't know Conner as well as Mila does. I don't know what to think. All I can do is keep this duel going. Luckily, I have my Mirror Blast trap. He might not take damage because of Disruptive Interruption, but I will be able to destroy his dragon.'

"I won't make the same mistakes I made last time." The imposter said as he played another card. "I play Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy your face-down!" A cyclone came by and destroyed Ichika's trap, his only chance of destroying that dragon. "With that gone, White-Eyes Silver Dragon, destroy his monster! Attack with Lightning Burst Blast!" The dragon unleashed a powerful blast of lightning. Shenlong got caught in the blast and was destroyed with Ichika's life points dropping to 1900.

"Ichika!" The girls called. This was looking worse with each turn for Ichika.

"What's the matter, Ichika? Are you too scared to make a move now that you realize how powerful I truly am!" The imposter taunted as he laughed at Ichika's misfortune. Ichika knew he can't let this fake get to him. He's got to stay strong, but against that dragon could be a real problem.

Conner

"This is not looking good for that Ichika." The computer said as it kept track of the duel.

"Ichika's a skillful duelist. I'm sure he might find a way out of this." Conner said. "That fake might have my deck, but he can't use it like I do. Even so, I rather not take something like this to chance. We better make sure Ichika wins this duel." Conner got to work as best as he could. This is one duel Ichika can't afford to lose or a lot of people will pay the price.

The Duel

The fake continued to laugh at Ichika. Ichika might be face with a powerful monster, but he beat it before and he will again. He's got to.

'I can't let him get to me.' Ichika thought. 'If I lose this duel, I'll lose Mila, part of my chance to save Chifuyu, and I might never learn the truth about Conner. I've got to win.' It's all or nothing, but can Ichika really pull it off?
