Sorry it has been so long since the last chapter. I've been distracted lately. I'm going to try and rectify that though.

Chapter 2 – Discussions

Albus Dumbledore was starting to wake up. The last thing he remembered was confronting a young red headed girl and her strange companions.

He had just found the location of the missing Potter heir and he was going to take him somewhere he deemed safe. All so he could control him.

After he asked them to give him the boy they had refused. He then brought out his wand and that was it. He couldn't remember anything else.

He lay there trying to figure out what had gone wrong. As he did he could feel things attached to him and heard some odd sounds.

"Don't pretend to still be asleep. I know you're awake," said a woman's voice near him.

He saw the red haired girl standing over him. He then looked around seeing that he was in what muggles would call a laboratory. There were tables with unusual instruments on them. There were also those things that muggles watched with the moving pictures called teevee's. Those had strange colored squiggly lines on them.

Finally he looked at himself, noticing that he was naked except for his pink boxers with wands on them. He also realized that he was strapped down on a table.

"Why have you stripped me and restrained me Miss?" he said as he turned his head towards the woman.

"Simple. I wanted to make sure you wouldn't be able to try and attack my family again. I also wanted to take some samples," she told him as a very menacing smirk appeared on her face.

Albus blinked in concern before saying, "I assure Miss all I want to do is take young Harry somewhere safe."

The woman turned her head when one of the teevee's beeped when he said that. She then turned back to him with a frown, "You're lying."

"No I'm not. His parents were killed by a very evil man and there are some of his followers who would love to find him. Either to kill him or make him just like their fallen master. I just want to make sure he's safe and grows up loved," he told her trying to give her his best grandfatherly look while adding a slight twinkle to his eyes.

The woman looked at one of the teevee's the whole time he spoke. She finally looked at him when there was a beep with the last thing he said.

"Everything you said was true, except the last bit. You don't care if he's safe or loved. Most likely you want to use him for something," she said while crossing her arms.

"I assure Miss that is not the case," when he said that there was an even louder beep this time.

"What is that noise?" he asked looking around.

"That is the sound of my Lie Detector going off. It only happens when you lie," she told him with a chuckle.

Albus blinked before he said, "I assure you I'm not lying."

When he said that they heard the loudest beep yet.

"You might as well quit with the lies. I've had millennium perfecting these machines. There is no way you can fool them," she told him with a chuckle.

"Did she just say millennium? That can't be possible. No human, Magical or Muggle can live that long," he thought.

"I suggest you tell me the truth about why you want my grandson. You wouldn't like the consequences if I have to drag it out of you," she told him.

Just then another woman appeared behind her and tapped her on the shoulder, "Washu, dinners ready."

The woman talking to him, now reidentified as Washu, looked over her shoulder at her, "I'll be there in a bit. I just want to leave this man with something to think about until I get back."

"Alright," the other woman said before she turned and walked away.

"Mihoshi, no detours on the way out," Washu said as she turned back to Albus.

Albus was really confused by that brief exchange.

"While I'm gone I want you to make a choice. Either tell me the truth about why you want my grandson willingly or I will drag it out of you," she told him before she turned and walked away.

"I believe she would actually be able to break me to get the answers she wants," he thought

It was about a half hour later when Washu returned, "So, have you decided if you're going to willingly answer my questions or not."

"I don't think I've got any choice in the matter. Though I do have a few questions I'd like answered," Albus replied.

"I'll answer one question then you answer mine," Washu replied back.

"Alright. You claim to be Harry's grandmother, but that's not possible. I knew James's parents and Lily's were muggles that lived in England. How can you be related to him?" he asked her.

Washu's eye twitched when he used the word muggle before she answered, "The one thing you probably didn't know and Lily's parents most likely didn't tell her was that she was adopted. I'm Lily's real mother, thus making Harry my grandson. There I answered your question now tell me what I want to know."

"I was going to leave Harry with his Aunt and setup ward's to protect them from anyone who wanted to attack Harry," Albus told her.

"What kind of wards?" she asked.

"Blood ward's keyed to Lily's blood," he answered her.

"Well that wouldn't have worked since the only people related to Lily by blood are Harry, Lily's father, and me," she told him.

"How do you know about Blood Ward's?" he asked her in confusion.

"My husband gave me a very good grounding in many aspects of Magic," she said with a chuckle.

"Who's your husband?" Albus asked trying to get as much information out of her as possible.

"All I can say is he's a former Hogwarts alumni," she told him with a smirk.

Albus blinked, "That means Lily was a half-blood, but if you knew about Magic why did you give Lily up for adoption?"

"That's because she had such strong Magic when she was born it was interfering with all of my equipment. I knew I would figure how to shield my machines from it and until then I would have to give her up. Unfortunately by the time I was able to do that she had already graduated from Hogwarts and was married. I didn't want to interfere with her life, though I did keep an eye on her," Washu explained to him.

"Alright, that makes sense. Is there anything else you want to know?" he asked after hearing her explanation.

"Yes. Why were Lily and her family attacked?" Washu asked him trying to get more information out of him.

"Harry's parents were helping to fight a Dark Lord who was trying to take over the British Wizarding World. He didn't like that, so they went into hiding after Harry was born. They used a powerful protective charm to help keep them safe. Someone betrayed them giving their location to the Dark Lord. He came to wipe out the entire Potter family. Though somehow Harry was saved and the Dark Lord disappeared. That's all I know," Albus told her.

"There's more he's not telling me. I'll find out what later," she thought. She then said, "That's enough information for now. I'm going to let you go."

"Thank you," Albus said as she let him up from the table and gave him back his clothes.

After he got dressed Washu started leading him out of her lab. As they were walking she made one comment, "Please don't touch anything. You wouldn't like the consequences."

They kept walking until they arrived at a door that was standing with nothing around or attached to it. Washu then opened it and had him follow her through it.

When he got to the other side of the door he saw that he had stepped out into a hallway. As he looked around he noticed that the door he had come through was underneath a set of stairs.

"Come on. Quit dawdling. I want you to get off the property before I activate the barrier," Washu told him.

"Barrier? Is that like a Ward?" he asked as he continued to follow her through the house.

"Yes, though I've keyed this one to your Magic signature. That way you can't show up unannounced. It will force you to stay at the edge of the property," Washu explained to him.

"I'll have to figure out a way around that. Maybe if I send someone to check on Harry. They might find something I can use," he thought before asking, "I was wondering if it would be okay to have someone come and check up on Harry."

"He's up to something. Most likely he wants to still control how Harry's raised," Washu thought to herself before she said, "You can send whoever you want, but if they do anything I deem wrong I'll add their Magic signature to the barrier so that they'll never set foot on this property again."

"I'll remember to inform anyone I send. Though I am wondering how you got my Magic signature in the first place," Albus asked her.

"Simple. I made a copy of it while you were unconscious," she told as she turned her head and smirked.

"This woman is even more dangerous than I thought," he thought as they finally stepped outside.

"Well were outside now. You head back to England now," she told him as she crossed her arms.

Albus took a few steps away onto the lawn before turning towards her and bowed, "I do apologize for all the trouble I caused you. I'll send someone by on Harry's birthday with a few presents."

After that he did a twirl and disappeared with a crack.

At that moment a woman came out of the ground next to Washu.

"I'm surprised you let that old man go after he tried to attack us," the woman asked.

"I got a lot of information from him. Plus, whoever he sends I can get even more information from. I would love to learn how Hogwarts has changed since I left there a thousand years ago," Washu told her.

"Yeah, I still can't believe you've been to Earth before and didn't tell us about it," the woman said.

"It was a long time ago and I had a rough time after that," she replied with a bit of sadness in her voice.

"Well I guess I'll wait until you're ready to talk about it," she said before she disappeared into the nearby wall.

A/N: Well here's the latest chapter. I hope everyone enjoyed it.

I just have a few things to say.

First is that Washu did her usual thing when she had Dumbledore at her mercy and unconscious. I'll leave it up to you're imagination as to what all that might entail.

The second thing is that in the next chapter there will be a lot of time skips.

The only thing left to say is please read and review.
