" Send these to Genieve. Tell her that we do not want anything too obnoxious. It's not a charity ball, it's a debutante dinner."
The assistant nodded as they left with the papers as Belle continued walking in the clean and pristine office building as her brown pumps hit the tile floor before hearing the phone ring she quickly answered.
" Hello?"
" Good Afternoon your highness, we were curious about the Kingdom Tour-"
" Hold on."
Belle quickly placed the caller on hold as she answered the other call," Ah- Aurora!", she greeted," Hi Belle! I just wanted to let you know we have prepared everything!", Aurora said cheerfully.
" Oh, wonderful! I'll get back to you hold on!"
Belle sighed as she collapsed in the cool leather chair as she gently kicked off the heels on the carpeted floor as she slipped in the flats that sat underneath the desk as she went back to the paperwork on the desk.
" Are sure the barrier is a good idea?"
Belle poured the tea in the cup as Ariel soberly rocked the sleeping baby," I can't risk Melody's safety...I already put her at risk because of this elk that I have no clue about…and now there's this Morgana situation...the barrier from Atlantica...is the best solution...that's what Eric says at least…" , she replied as she pushed the stray hair out her face and back into her ponytail. Belle nodded as she looked at the sleeping baby.
" I've been having these horrid nightmares as of late…"
" What?"
Ariel looked up and nodded," Yeah, I was in this garden and I saw all of you lifeless like dolls and I saw this horrifying elk...and it was just so ugh…", she recounted as her hands waved away in disgust and annoyance as she grabbed the tea and took a sip.
Belle set the last paper in the file drawer pushing the drawer back in and locking it," Belle?", a slight sing song voice called, Belle raised her brow," Come in!", she announced as she saw Cinderella walk in as Belle smiled and walked towards her to give her a small hug, " What brings you over here?" , Belle asked as Cinderella did a small shrug," Oh you know just visiting…", she said as she straightened out her pantsuit and sat in one of the chairs in the cozy office," How are you nightmares?", she asked.
The room fell in silence.
" Uhm...better...Ben has been calling me about them though…", Belle said," He asked me once if he should go to the doctor and get it checked out...and so we went and the doctor said he seemed fine...just not to overwork…", Cinderella hummed as she crossed her legs," Chad hasn't been calling me much...Ethan wanted to see him over the weekend and we called about it but he didn't answer…he looks tired or irritated now a days…", she recounted.
" Have you contacted Fairy Godmother?"
" She has gone off the grid since Saturday...she told me she won't be back until school comes back up again…"
Fairy Godmother sighed as she looked at the old abandoned castle before taking a hefty sigh and pushing the large doors open watching the dust fly away like gentle clouds. She took a slow deep breath as the shattered glass crunched under her boot as she continued walking in the abandoned building, closing the doors behind her as she walked in the abandoned palace.
Fairy Godmother gently frowned as she looked at the abandoned stairwells and hallways, the gold detailing still vivid but somewhat out of place with the dull and lifeless surroundings. She took a deep breath as she looked around cautiously and looked at the long stone staircase gently pulling out her wand.
" C'mon Jilly...you remember… sunny beams and solar wings, bibbity boppity boo."
The light gently emitted from the wand as Fairy Godmother sighed and carefully walked down as her steps echoed the only light being emitted was the blue light from her wand before reaching the bottom. She walked down the final staircase as she looked at the center display pedestal with a small circular keyhole.
