I know...I know...it's been WAY too long. It's been a year? Maybe even more? But let me tell you, I've missed you. I've missed this. I've missed writing and reading manga and doing all of these things.

I've had a bit of a hard time the past few months and I was incredibly lost, but I think getting back to writing will help me put everything into focus again. With a new job and (hopefully) my own blog starting up, I think it's all going to be okay.

Anyways, this isn't about me...this is about YOU (and Levi & Ryder obviously)! Tell me how you are and what's new with you! Tell me if this was a surprise update like how I've just surprised myself with this update. I'm going to try and update at least once a week. Give myself a routine again, you know? Anyways, leave me a review!

Year 2: Autumn

"How are you holding up, Mikasa?" I asked Mikasa after sitting down at the same table as her for lunch. The black haired girl looked at me with her unreadable expression as she placed her spoon back into her bowl.

"Holding up what?" She asked me.

"With Eren being gone. I find it weird sometimes at meetings. I always expect to hear him getting upset about something someone has said or slamming his hands on the table and throwing a tantrum." I joked about Eren's usual outbursts during an everyday meeting.

"He's doing an important mission that will benefit us all once we have all the proper information." Mikasa said.

"You're right. He's doing a very important job for us all. Hopefully it'll all pay off." I nodded my head in agreement.

"Hi Ryder!" I looked up and saw the rest of Team Levi standing at the end of the table. They all sat down with their food and exchanged awkward glances.

"Don't worry, I'm not here to give any of you a job from Levi. You can all breathe." After the words left my mouth, I saw all the members release a sigh of relief. "I was just asking Mikasa about Eren."

"Is there any new information?" Connie asked.

"No, I was just curious if you all missed him."

"He's a pain in the ass." Jean said. "But he's our pain…I guess."

"That was put so beautifully." I sarcastically said.

"Well we all know that Jean has a way with words, right Jean?" Connie joked with his long-time friend. I was about to continue the conversation when I felt my stomach begin to bubble and my lunch wanting to resurface. My hand slapped itself over my mouth while my body stood up from the table and ran towards the nearest washroom. Once I made it to the toilet I quickly kneeled down in front of the toilet and allowed everything to empty from my stomach.

"Ryder?"

"Are you okay?"

"Should we get some help?" The concerned voices of the squad could be heard from behind the door. Even though they couldn't see me, I waved my hand behind me as a dismissal.

"I'm okay." I managed to say before emptying my stomach another time.

"I think we should tell somebody."

"Who should we get?"

"There's only one person, doofus." I heard a slap off the back of someone's head.

"I'll go tell Captain Levi right away." Armin announced before he left. Once I felt my stomach settle for a second I fell backwards and sat on the floor, so I could catch my breath.

"Ryder?"

"I'm okay. I'll be out in a minute." I told the remaining members of the squad outside the door. Once I had some toilet paper in my hand to wipe my mouth, I threw it into the toilet and washed everything away. I walked over to the water bucket and began to wash my face and swish the water around my mouth. After feeling semi-human again, I walked out of the washroom and was met with a concerned squad.

"Ryder!" I looked down the hall and saw Armin running behind Levi as they made their way to me.

"What happened?" Levi asked me.

"I was sick, but it's fine now." I told him.

"No, it's not. You're going to the doctor, now." He told me.

"I'm fine, serious." I tried to reassure him, but Levi was not having any of it.

"Now." Once Levi ordered me to go to the doctor with him, I had no choice, so I followed him.

"Ryder, have you been sick like this before?" The doctor asked me.

"Yes, it happened a couple of days ago, so I thought it was just something bad that I had eaten." I answered.

"And when was your last period?" He asked me.

"Over a month ago. I'm late right now." I told him.

"I see." He picked up the container that he asked me to urinate in and looked at the weird blob he placed at the bottom of it. "Well, it's clear what's happening to you." He placed the container back down before turning to face me.

"What is it?" I asked.

"You're pregnant, Ryder." At that very moment, I felt my heart stop in my chest and I thought I was going to be sick again.
