SCREECH!

A bright light flashed against the windshield, as a loud horn blared out onto the gloomy road. Rain pattered against the two vehicles, as collision impacted on both. The small car laid on its back after rolling 15 times, headlights still on, and blood seeping out and onto the asphalt floor. Running foot steps collided with the rain puddles, as a stunned truck driver ran towards the car.

"GOD DAMIT! LEE CALL THE FUCKING PARMEDICS! HEY- HEY- BUDDIE CAN YOU HEAR ME?"

The trucker said, panicking as oozing dark red blood ran into the floor. Panicked mumbles filled the sight, as bystanders came by, some screamed at each other to flip the car. But, the only thing the man could hear, was a screeching silence, as he laid upside down. Red blood streamed down his face and onto the broken glass underneath him. As his phone rang, over and over, and over again.

"WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?"

"Yeti truck hit him."

"Pulse is dropping, need 4 pints of o negative."

The nurse said, a tint of nervousness in her voice. More nurses ran towards the body laying on the gurney, as he was rolled into the white room. Doctors, and nurses swarmed the blond unconscious man. Immediately grabbing paddles as he finally was set in the middle of the room.

"Charge the paddles!"

"Charging to 200, three two one."

The body jolted up for a second, but, the ekg still flat lined.

"Again."

"Charging to 250, three two one."

The same noise filled the room, a dead loud beep.

"Charging to 300, three two one."

The body jolted up again, only this time the ekg had a steady rhythm.

"Sapnap, dream isn't responding. You call him, he's probably still mad at me."

George said, clicking away at his keyboard as sapnap sat beside him. Sapnap only hummed a response, clicking away at his phone looking for his best friends contact. He almost immediately put it on speaker, holding the phone up to the microphone as George scooted back. The phone only rang twice, as someone picked up.

"Dream I know your mad at George but we still have to stream. And chat is-"

"N-nick?"

A voice said, as the shaking sniffles filled the speaker. The voice sounded young, scared, and tired.

"Drista? W-what's going on why are you crying? Where's Dream?"

The young voice broke into a sob, as sapnap froze, his hand stayed still near the microphone as he turned to George.

"N-nick, oh my god. You need to come b-back it's clay. He-he's.."

The voice stopped, crying and holding back screams of shear sorrow. The voice coughed, and cried even more.

"C-clay was in an accident, a-and the doctors want to get him off l-l-life support."

"Woah woah woah, wh-what kind of accident?"

The person on the other end sniffled, composing there selves as they spoke again.

"A-a yeti truck hit-hit him while he was driving. G-god, he knew it was raining bad today, I-I don't even know why he was driving.."

The voice said stifling back more tears and screams. George instantly froze, hot tears streaming down his pale porcelain face. Sapnap eyes widen and his mouth gapped open, he stared at George, knowing the real reason why Dream was out on the road. George got up, bolting towards his room and slammed the door. Sapnaps heart started beating faster then ever, his mind only averted when he heard a dono.

He instantly aimed for the mute button, muting himself so the stream didn't hear anything else, he turned off the speaker, and raised the phone towards his ear.

"D-drista.. please, please tell me this is a joke.."

"I-I wish it was, he just got out of surgery, but the doctors think it's bad. They want.. they want him to put him out of misery.."

She said, biting her arm to cover up the cry's, it hurt, physically and emotionally. If Dream were here, he would encourage her to cry, let it all out, and to get past this one step at a time. She cried harder, thinking about all the encouraging words her brother would say to her. Her heart ached, her own brother, this was something she didn't expect. She would make sure the truckers paid if he died, no remorse.

-

"George, please open the door?"

Sapnap said, it was more of a question than a statement, making it clear that he needed the door to open. He had been at the door for a good ten minutes, waiting for George to open the door.

"George, I get it, I do, but- Dream wouldn't want this. That's why you have to come out, this accident wasn't your- our- our fault."

Sapnap said, immediately knocking on the door once more. Hoping- no praying- the door would open. Light footsteps dragged thereselves to the door, slowly unlocking the door.

"Sapnap.. I want to see dream."

Sapnap froze, hearing the words escape his lips, seeing the sadness in his eyes. Nothing he's ever seen before, but, he only nodded.

"It was pretty expensive, but I got us a flight on tuesday, you can pack while I tell chat to not freak out."

George only nodded, walking past sapnap and down the hall. George left sapnap there, both there eyes red and puffy. Both hearts ached, knowing there mistake. If only they could have taken back those words they said, he would be here. Both boys had the same thought in there heads.

It's all your fault.

Dreams mother stayed by his side, holding a tissue in her hand, as her daughter laid on the two conjoined chairs. She had been asleep for an hour, desperately waiting for her brother to even wake up, if that was possible. As the E.K.G stood next to him, it registered heartbeats, which were in rhythmic form. The beeps went by, slow, but not to slow, as the lifeless body on the bed gave away small breaths. Two tubes in his nose helped his breathing, as bandages wrapped around his head.

A scar reached from his forehead to his chin, stitches holding them together like a tight hug. His mother stared at him, praying for her son to awake. Not even being bothered by the nurse coming in.

"Ma'am, Im going to have to ask you to leave. Visiting hours are over, you can come back at 8:00 tomorrow."

The nurse said, offering a small smile towards the devastated mom. Dreams mom still held his hand, she hesitated, not wanting to leave. She didn't want to leave him alone, fearing he will wake up, scared and alone. She let go of his hand, regretting it immediately. Hot, salty, tears rolled down her face, as she walked towards he daughter.

Shaking her slightly to wake her up. Drista instantly woke up, pushing herself up as she immediately looked over at her brother. A pang of sadness filled her heart when she still say her brother, still unconscious.

"Sweetie, it's time to go home. You have school tomorrow."

Dreams mother said, grabbing her daughters hand as she led her towards the door. Exhausted eyes lazily stayed open, as she slowly, but surely walked towards the door. Drista looked back once, another wave of pain crashed down on her heart. Single tears streamed down her face, she felt.. empty. She felt uncompleted.

All she could do now, is pray. Pray that this would be over, and her life would revert to the once calm state. She even begged to herself it was a dream, pinching herself ever once in a while to make sure it was a dream.

"Sap.. do you think- do you think Dream will forgive us?"

George said, eyes still glued to his phone. Stray tears ran down his face, making his eyes puff up again.

"George, you know dream, he could never stay mad. Don't over think it."

Sapnap said, but George did overthink it. He stared at his phone, staring at the messages prior to the accident.

George eyes immediately watered, he clenched his jaw, trying not to let them fall from his eyelids, and roll down his face. His porcelain face glowed red, he had cried so much, it seemed the red would stay forever. He wanted to be next to dream, touch his skin and say, "everything is going to be alright." To hug him, and spill out his feelings towards him, to even see his face. The one face they always teased about.

He couldn't believe himself, the only thought that shook him to his core. It was jokes, but this, this thought, it was no joke.

I want him...
