Hello there! -Obi-Wan Kenobi, 19 BBY.

I think the most important thing to say to y'all is MAY THE FOURTH BE WITH YOU! My friends and I always joke that there's some Jedi with a lisp out there who says "may the fourth be with you."

I had a very enlightening experience on this fine May the 4th. I was waiting outside a restaurant and this random stranger comes up to me and says "I like your Star Wars shirt." Then he showed me his Han Solo shirt and I said "May the fourth be with you!" and he said the same thing back. It was actually really cool. I mean, it didn't matter that I didn't know the guy. STAR WARS FANS UNITE!

Thanks for reviewing: CloneWarsNerd - 1.) No, not east, 2.) Rhea is not wimpy or poor, 3.) Though this was a great answer, no this isn't it! 4.) Not even close. Tall? 5.) I'm not that evil, or creative, 6.) I didn't realize that there was a planet called Timora! No cookies, sorry.

The meaning of Timora is actually a spinoff of the Latin word for 'fear,' timor. I thought this was appropriate because Rhea was always afraid of what her past could do to her reputation as a Jedi. I considered doing the word for 'trust,' fiducia, but I though it was too close to 'Felucia.'

Disclaimer: Whatever. You know what I'm going to say.

Chapter Eight: Death of Democracy

19 BBY

"Commander Cody, the time has come. Execute Order 66."

Something snapped in Cody's brain - like a failsafe that was yet to be used. "It will be done, my Lord," he replied mechanically.

On Kashyyyk, Luminara Unduli was speaking with her men in a circle when they revealed their hidden pistols and shot her down. Her last thought was of Rhea; she knew that her Padawan had fallen. Luminara had failed.

Rhea Isa, or Darth Timora, walked into Shaak Ti's meditating.

She then stabbed Shaak Ti in the back with her blue-bladed lightsaber. Though it wouldn't be blue much longer.

The younglings were huddled in a corner of one of the nurseries - right where Timora wanted them.

"Padawan Isa, there are too many of them! What are we going to do?" one of the brave ones asked cautiously. This was Rhea Isa, a girl who had read to them, played with them, and comforted them. The younglings trusted her.

No longer.

Timora ignited the lightsaber again.

The Jedi Temple was on fire. Both Bail Organa and Padmé Amidala saw it. Bail attempted to enter the Jedi Temple but was threatened by clone troopers. Padmé was in her apartment, worrying about her husband, Threepio soothing her fears.

"My Lady, there's small ship docking on the veranda." Padmé gasped and ran outside.

Anakin was breathing heavily and tripped out of his fighter.

"Ani!" Padmé cried, embracing him. "I - I was so worried. The Jedi Temple is on fire!"

"I know, Padmé, I know," he soothed, a worried look on his face. "The Chancellor declared that the Jedi have betrayed the Republic."

"But they haven't!"

"I know!" Anakin said, exasperated.

"Anakin, what are we going to do?" Padmé breathed.

The Jedi started walking back towards his ship, dragging his wife along with him and inhaling smoke that was accumulating outside. "You need to get in the ship."

"Ani, there's only one seat..."

"I don't care," Anakin shook his head. "You know me. I'll come up with some… improvised plan. Take Artoo and go."

The Naboo Senator's eyes turned dark. "I am not leaving without you."

Anakin sighed. "Alright. We'll have to stay here for the time being."

Suddenly, something on Padmé's wrist beeped. "It's Mas Amedda!" Anakin nodded and moved out of sight.

"Senator Amidala. The Supreme Chancellor of the Republic requests your presence at a special session of Congress."

Padmé looked at her husband with desperate eyes. "I will be there," she said shakily. Her wrist-com turned off and she stared at Anakin. "I'm going," she said to him.

He looked up in worry. "I don't suppose I can prevent you from going?"

"No!" she smiled.

"Well?" Anakin came and embraced his wife. "What was the meeting for?"

Padmé looked up with teary eyes. "Democracy is dead."

"What? Why, what happened?" Anakin asked.

Padmé sat down. "The Chancellor - though that's not what he goes by currently - has established the first Galactic Empire. He made himself the Emperor."

"What?" Anakin said in anger. "How could he do this?"

Suddenly, C-3P0 protested to an unknown figure, "I'm very sorry, sir, but the Senator is quite busy at the moment - " The golden droid was brushed past, revealing none other than Obi-Wan Kenobi. "Senator Amidala," he slightly bowed. "And Anakin. I assume you're the father." Padmé looked down and Obi-Wan complained, "Though that really doesn't seem to matter at the moment, as the Jedi are now being hunted and slaughtered."

Anakin breathed. "Obi-Wan - we need to get somewhere safe."

"Yes," the former master agreed. "There are two Sith now." When Anakin gave him a perplexed look, he said, "Rhea Isa has betrayed the Jedi."

"Rhea?" Anakin yelled. "She was Ahsoka's friend, how could she…" He stopped, at a loss for words. "And Palpatine, of course?" Anakin asked, dreading the answer.

"Palpatine is the Master."

Padmé looked distraught. "Chancellor Palpatine?" she said. "He's a Sith Lord?" Obi-Wan nodded and Padmé put her hands over her face. Regaining her composure and looking at her husband, she spoke, "I can get us off Coruscant. I have a ship that they won't scan."

"Very good," Obi-Wan said. "We should leave."

They approached the ship, a silver Nabooian Skiff. Threepio scuttled behind them, Artoo pushing his legs.

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" he protested.

"Master Kenobi!" said Bail Organa through the comlink as soon as they got on board. "Master Yoda is with Sidious. I'm going to pick him up and then you must go to the station on the asteroids of Polis Massa."

"Polis Massa it is," said Obi-Wan, typing in the coordinates.

Suddenly, Padmé grunted. "Padmé!" Anakin yelled, rushing to hold her up.

"I - I'm fine, Ani," she weakly said.

"You need to lie down," Anakin said, escorting her to one of the back rooms. As soon as he walked back in, Obi-Wan turned around.

He inquired. "How long has this been going on?"

Anakin sighed. "After the Battle of Geonosis, she visited me in the hospital on Coruscant. We, uh, confessed our feeling for each other and… we got married."

Obi-Wan discreetly coughed into his fist. "You got married." Anakin nodded with a half-smile on his face as his former master continued, "I knew there was something going on, but I wasn't sure what…"

"Wait! You knew there was something going on?"

"Well, I think everyone thought there was something, especially Ahsoka and the 501st, I mean, the 501st definitely knew, but marriage?" Anakin laughed nervously at that. Obi-Wan put a hand on his brother's shoulder. "Again, it doesn't matter now." He paused with Anakin took a breath. "She's close, isn't she?"

"What?" Anakin pulled away. "What do you mean, 'close'?"

"Well, she's feeling tired, I think you'll agree that she's quite moody, and she's much bigger now."

"But… she's only in her seventh month!" Anakin worried. "If the baby is coming soon, then won't she be premature?"

"She?" Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow.

Anakin looked down sheepishly again. "Padmé thinks a boy; I think it's a girl."

"Well, many babies are born premature - everything will be fine," Obi-Wan assured. "I can already feel a new Force signature on the ship."

Anakin's eyes lit up and Obi-Wan put his face in his hands.

But should I tell him that I swear that I can feel two…

Woohoo! Yes! Yay!

I may have fictionalized a lot of Padme's pregnancy things about her being in her seventh month, but I feel like if RoTS took place over the course of a month and Padme was already in her sixth month when she told Anakin about the pregnancy, she would be in her seventh month. My logic.

Hope you enjoyed this chapter and remember to review, favorite, and follow.

Also: I HAVEN'T SEEN INFINITY WARS BUT I REALLY WANT TO AND SOMEONE SPOILED A PERSON WHO DIES AND I'M MAD. But I'm seeing it tomorrow, so I won't be depressed much longer. Scratch that, apparently I'll be even more depressed.

May the FOURTH be with you and God bless!
