Hello again! I was thinking of bringing a character back from the dead, but I might not. If anyone, I would probably bring back Zoe Nightshade, because she's one of my favorite characters. If you want me to bring someone else back, or not anyone at all, let me know!
I'm not sure if I will do any pairings, maybe perzoe, I'm not the greatest fan of Percabeth, and I have a way of separating them.
Happy Easter if you celebrate!
I do not own any characters, they all belong to Uncle Rick.

The Favor
Percy Pov:
Percy was not in good shape when he reached the fire river. He was covered in blisters and boils. His lungs felt like he had just sprinted a marathon, and blood dripped from his mouth.
He collapsed at the riverbank, a voice in the back of his head begging him to drink from the river. Well, time to see if I was right he thought as he shoved his hands into the raging flames.
The river felt strangely cool as he cupped the fire in his hands. He raised the liquid up his mouth and croaked a "Bottoms Up," as he shoved the fire down his throat. He instantly doubled over, coughing and shaking as the liquid burned his insides as it slid down his throat. Soon, though, the pain faded, boils disappearing and, as he took a breath in, his lungs no longer burned. As he stood up, he let out a laugh, It worked! He lived!
He was brought back to reality when a voice purred from behind him, "The sea spawn's in Tartarus! Awesome! I don't even have to go to the surface to kill you!"
Spinning around, he realized he was surrounded by Empousai. The one who spoke was wearing a tattered cheerleader uniform, which he remembered from his freshman orientation. His hand drifted to his pocket, where his trusty sword, Riptide, sat in pen form, but he would be dead before he could uncap it. Kelli started monologuing, but Percy wasn't listening, all he was thinking about was how to get out. He had controlled the pain river, but at least that was water, this river was made of fire. Deciding it was his only chance, Percy concentrated on the river as the Empousai closed in. He felt the familiar tug in his gut as the river exploded, sending a tidal wave of fire into the monsters. They let out bloodcurdling screams as the river melted their flesh, before finally exploding into dust.
As the fire receded, one empousa remained. Kelli, her bronze leg melted together, tried to crawl away from the son of Poseidon. He walked up and grabbed her by the throat. He stared into her eyes and held her over the raging river of fire.
"Answer my questions and I'll let you live," he demanded, "Where are the Doors of Death?" She let out a choked laugh before answering, "You will die down here, sea spawn." He growled before letting go and letting her fall into the churning waters. Her screams drowned out by the crackling of the river. He smiled as she burned away.
"Ok, where to now?" He mused. He could follow the river, see where it leads, or he could pick a random direction and head that way. If he did that, he would likely die without the water from the river. Even now, he could see his arms slowly getting redder from the air.
Deciding to follow the river, he started walking, only to be interrupted by a loud, booming voice that seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
"So, a little hero wanders the pit, eh?" the voice mused, "I have been watching your progress for a long time, Perseus."
"Stalker much?" He muttered. The Voice just laughed in response. "Who are you, anyway?" Percy questioned, "And what do you want from me?"
"I am the pit itself, Tartarus, young one. As for why I am speaking to you, I require a Favor." It responded. Percy paled, favors from higher beings were usually very dangerous, and some a primordial couldn't do was not going to be easy.
The pit just laughed, "What I ask of you is easy, There is a weapon not too far from where you are now that I need removed from my domain. It saps my strength every day it is down here. It is also what you need to put my wife, Gaia, to sleep."
"But, why would you want to kill your wife?"
"Why wouldn't I? I don't wish to end up like Ouranos."
Percy swallowed a lump in his throat before asking, "And if I don't?"
The pit laughed, "Then I will kill you."
Percy swallowed, "Ah, sensible. I'll do it."
"The weapon is a few miles downriver. Once you have obtained it, I will give you my blessing. Assuming you survive, that is." Percy Paled, "Assuming I survive! What do you mean by that?" The voice didn't respond, leaving Percy to sigh and begin to make his way downriver.
Time skip
Percy Pov:
After what seemed like hours the ground beneath Percy's feet grew golden. Upon closer inspection, it was colored gold from monster dust. Percy's hand drifted to his pocket and uncapped Riptide as he scanned the expanse around him. Spotting something nearby, he approached it. As he got closer, he sucked in a breath. It was a six-foot-long scythe sticking blade down. The blade was a mix between celestial bronze and steel, capable of killing mortals and immortals alike. Kronos scythe. He had no idea how it ended up in the pit. Last he saw of it, it was stuck in the hearth on Olympus.
As Percy approached, he could feel the power radiating off the scythe. Percy wanted to run away and pretend he had never seen it, but he had promised Tartarus he would take it. Percy capped Riptide and moved to grab the scythe.
As soon as he touched the handle, his hand erupted in pain. Dark spots appeared in his eyes as the pain crept up his arm. The pain continued to spread through his body until it suddenly stopped, the scythe yanked free of the ground and Percy fell on his podex. Percy groaned and stood up, leaning on the scythe for support.
A rumbling voice spoke up, "Well done, you have obtained the scythe of Kronos, I let you travel to the doors of death." As Percy took in a breath, he realized the air felt cleaner.
"Thanks, Lord Tartarus," He mumbled, "But where do I go now?"
The voice laughed, "There is a temple for hades about a days walk away, it is one of the only three in the pit and the only place you can rest without being harassed by monsters. It is in the direction you are currently facing."
Percy nodded once more before starting to walk.
