Hiya people! So... I saw Solo... and... it was amazing! I will have a spoiler review at the end of this chapter of what I liked and disliked about the movie.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the last chapter with MAUL HAHAHA! I also want to let you know that I absolutely DON'T ship Rexsoka. I think it's worse than Ezra/Leia. I do ship Luxsoka, which may or may not be making an appearance. Maybe...

Hopefully you are all as excited for this chapter as I am because lots of stuff happens, like last chapter. I'm hoping that soon my chapter will not seem crammed, but instead I can spread stuff out. Sometimes that's a problem with me, I want long chapters so I put a lot of stuff into the chapter instead of spreading it out. But in the next ten chapters that I've already written, things will definitely have less lime skips and such.

Sorry for that rant! Thanks to everyone who reviewed. It means a lot to me.

Disclaimer: I own only Timora *coughRheacough* and the crazy plot of this story. Also, in the last chapter, there were some lines directly from the book Ahsoka, and I forgot to credit it.

Chapter Ten: The Chosen's Two

19 BBY

Sola. My sister. Pooja. Ryoo. My dear two nieces.

Mama. Papa. I love you both.

Obi-Wan. Ahsoka. Thank you for protecting and loving Anakin...

Anakin!

"Anakin!" Padmé yelled. In a few second, her husband was in the door.

He kneeled down. "What is it, Padmé?" he said worriedly.

"I think my water just broke!"

Caleb Dume ran.

He didn't run because he was a coward. Yeah, just keep telling yourself that, he thought.

He ran because that was his master's last word to him: "Run."

So Caleb ran. He ran as fast as he could from the clones, who had suddenly turned against them. Depa Billaba had told her apprentice that she would be right behind him, so he got away and waited. He waited.

He scrounged for food in the dumpsters waiting for Master Billaba, having no credits or anything of value to trade that wouldn't reveal that he was a Jedi.

It was one day that he was looking at his lightsaber when he realized something. Master Billaba wasn't coming back.

The Jedi were dead, so Caleb Dume would have to die too.

He ignited his lightsaber. Sucking in a breath, he sliced off the Padawan braid. He destroyed his comlink… he wouldn't be tricked by the Empire. He took on a blaster instead of a lightsaber. And the lightsaber? Caleb screwed it apart into two pieces. Though something, a feeling, urged him to keep the two halves along with the holocron holding Master Obi-Wan Kenobi's message. He didn't know why, but he kept them.

He changed out of his Jedi robes into something that a normal kid on a Core world planet would wear. Most of all, he needed credits. Badly.

He would need a new name as well.

"Senator Organa and Master Yoda arrived an hour ago," said Obi-Wan, invading Anakin's worried state.

"I know," Anakin said, his eyes closed. "I felt them."

There was a silence and the former master walker over. "I already told you - it's alright that Padmé is giving birth a bit early. It's practically normal."

"It's just… I'm so afraid of losing her!" Anakin cried. "She's the reason that I get up in the morning. She's my angel. And my child - it's something that I never could have had as a Jedi."

He looked over and laughed. "It's not something that you would exactly understand."

I understand more than you realize, Anakin, Obi-Wan thought, reminiscing about a certain Duchess and how pleased he had been when Ahsoka went to find Maul.

"I wonder if it's just Anakin here, or if this is where a bunch of Jedi are," said Ahsoka as she landed the cramped shuttle. Rex was able to nod his head in agreement as he ducked outside.

Polis Massa's grounds were clean, for one thing, and there was an odd sense of foreboding that Ahsoka felt. As soon as they walked in, two Alderaanian guards greeted them.

"The Senator is waiting for you," one of them said, escorting them down a hallway.

"Which Senator?" Rex muttered under his breath. They entered a room.

Bail Organa smiled at them. "Ahsoka Tano, Captain Rex."

"Senator, with all due respect, why did General Skywalker call Ahsoka here?" Rex asked.

"Masters Yoda and Kenobi are also here," Organa informed them, and Ahsoka's eyes lit up. "Anakin was sure you were alive and that he could trust you with this information."

Ahsoka's eyes narrowed. "Yes, the Chancellor is actually a power-hungry old man and ordered all clones to kill their Jedi generals. We knew that already."

"No, not that…" Bail sighed. "Come with me."

They walked through the hallways of the station until they got to the… medical facility? "Why are we here?" Rex asked skeptically. "Is someone hurt?" The Senator from Alderaan just half-smirked and kept walking.

Ahsoka knew Padmé Amidala's voice anywhere, but this one was… weak. Living, but weak. She had never heard the strong senator's voice like this before.

"It's two!" Padmé had croaked weakly.

"The first is a boy," stated a medical droid calmly. Ahsoka came into full view and gasped.

Oh.

Padmé stared up at Anakin. "Luke," she smiled.

"...and a girl," said the droid again.

"Leia," whispered the twins' father, tears coming to his eyes.

Rex and Ahsoka stood with their eyes wide open and their mouths probably gaping, too. "We all knew there was something going on, but…" Rex lost his words.

"Padmé," they heard Anakin say. "You need to hold on. You need to stay with me."

Padmé let out a weak laugh. "I'm not going anywhere, Ani." The medical droid placed baby Luke into his hands and the Jedi cradled him. Ahsoka could see that this was the happiest moment of his life; she had hardly ever seen him like this. Next was Leia, who seemed to enjoy her mother's presence more that her father's. Anakin didn't really seem to care much; he beamed anyway.

After a while, the single-sided window went dark and Anakin was escorted outside (however stubbornly) so that they could clean up Padmé and the twins.

When he caught sight of Ahsoka, his eyes lit up and he ran to embrace her.

"Thank the Force, you're alive!" he whispered into her ear. He looked up and gratefully smiled at Rex. "Thanks, buddy."

"'Course, General Sk - Anakin," he said when his commander raised his eyebrows.

"By the way, why didn't you attack us like the rest of the clones?" Anakin questioned, motioning for the two to come sit.

"Long story," Rex said, dismissing the whole thing that he had to explain to Ahsoka. "But we'd like to hear another long story." Ahsoka grinned and her former master sighed.

"It's an even longer story, I think," Anakin laughed. "It began at the First Battle of Geonosis..."

By the time that he had finished the story, and it was the whole story, his two friends looked like they were about to burst into laughter.

"So you were married the whole time?" Ahsoka asked in surprise, chuckling. "I mean, there was that one time when we flew into Separatist space and you came out of the smoke hugging her, but…"

Rex pondered, "That's why you hated the painting of the Senator at Anaxes."

Anakin blushed. "Ah, yeah. That was disgusting."

"Well, I can see how happy they make you," Ahsoka said. "You deserve it."

Anakin's face lit up, then fell. "Yeah, but it all happened at the wrong time!" He put his face in his hands. "I wish I can give them a normal childhood, but now I obviously can't."

"Hey," Rex put a hand on the man's shoulder. "They've got you. They'll be fine."

"I didn't turn out so bad, did I?" Ahsoka mentioned sarcastically.

Anakin gave a ghost of a laugh and Rex continued, "For the record, I'll be there when you ask."

"Count me in!" Ahsoka added.

"And I can't wait for them to meet their Aunt Soka and Uncle Rex." Anakin smirked in a positively evil way, at least to his two companions.

"Uncle?" Rex sputtered. Ahsoka and Anakin laughed, like old times when the war had just begun and there wasn't a massive weight on their shoulders.

They just sat there for a while longer. And when the time came, Ahsoka was quite ready to meet her niece and nephew.

On a planet across the galaxy, a boy was born before the twins. A quite Force-sensitive boy, in fact.

His name was Ezra Bridger.

Well, I definitely hope you enjoyed that fluffy little chapter. It had some good feels. By the way, the two events that Ahsoka and Rex are talking about with Anidala are in the Forces of Destiny episode "Unexpected Company" and the unfinished Clone Wars episode "A Distant Echo." They're good, check them out!

Also, I got the Aunt Soka and Uncle Rex thing from a story called "The Angel Network" by The8thDalmuti. That's a great story as well.

I'm checking off for now, so I hope you all enjoyed. The next chapter has lots of feels, so get yourself prepared.

May the Force be with you and God bless!
