Yes, I'm back. I told you two weeks, then three weeks, but I didn't imagine that there would be a five week gap. Well, I'm back now, and hope fully these next few chapters will be to your liking.
So, I'm going to talk about Star Wars Resistance real quick so, spoilers!
*spoilers for Resistance Episode 1*
Can we talk about Star Wars Resistance for a second?! It seems like it's off to a pretty good start. I have a feeling the animation will grow on me, just like the other animated shows. I liked the first half better than the second, where Poe recruits Kaz and brings him to the Colossus. Not that I didn't like the ending, but it still seemed devoid of the actual PLOT, which is Kaz's spy mission. It gave me a really Rebels vibe the first episode, except in Rebels they're actually doing something good like freeing Wookie slaves. About the characters? I really liked Kaz, the 'best pilot in the galaxy.' Who's his father? I'm excited for him and also Tam. I'm super excited for Tam. I really like her character and I'm excited to see her motives. The other characters are blank slates, though. We can really do anything with their characters. I'm optimistic about this show, because I'll always be excited for Star Wars.
OH AND NEEKU. Neeku is under my protection, he's such a cutie.
Okay, no more spoilers for Resistance Season 1 Episode 1.
Disclaimer: I don't own Star Wars (but I wish I did).

Chapter Twenty-Three: Skyguy and Snips
"Senator Organa, I'm docking with this ship," said Anakin.
Bail nodded. "Of course, Anakin. You can come straight in."
"I have a pilot who brought us here, he needs payment," he mentioned.
"We'll take care of it," said the senator.
Luke cocked his head. "This doesn't make any sense."
"It will, Luke," Bail smiled. "Finally, it will."
"Finally?" he said, biting his lip. The senator's eyes just twinkled as he led the boy out of his office.
The door slid open.
Anakin Skywalker, looking overall the angriest Luke had ever seen him. Next to him was Ben accompanied by a man probably in his mid-twenties.
"Dad," Luke said, not even noticing his massive voice crack.
"Luke," he replied. "What kind of adventure did you go on?"
Luke jerked his head around. "What makes you think I went on an adventure?" he retorted.
"You're with Senator Organa," Anakin noted, "so that probably means that it has something to do with the Rebellion."
Luke sighed. "Yes, it does. There was a rebel cell in Lothal, and I stowed away on the ship, and I met the Princess, and - "
Ben suddenly started laughing. "You - you met the Princess? Oh, Force, he met her!"
"Shut up, Obi-Wan," muttered Anakin. "Luke, you're grounded."
"How long?"
"For - for life!" Anakin shouted.
The man who Luke didn't recognize awkwardly spoke up. "So, when do I get my payment? Sorry to interrupt the little family gathering, but me and Chewie gotta get out of here." Chewie?
"Of course, Mr. Solo," said Anakin a little disheartened.
Bail gestured to Solo. "Come with me, and payment can be arranged."
As soon as the door slid shut, Luke walked up to his father. Anakin shook his head. "How could you leave? How could you just… run off like that?"
"I couldn't stay! You were making it too hard," Luke yelled. "I need answers, and these rebels gave me some, but I still don't understand."
"What don't you understand?"
He took a deep breath. "Are you Anakin Skywalker, the Jedi who fought in the Clone Wars?" Both Obi-Wan and Anakin looked down. "And Ben, were you a Jedi too? Ezra said something about a holocron, or something like that - "
"Yes," said Ben quietly. "I was a Jedi."
"Dad?" whispered Luke.
"I was a Jedi."
Luke didn't know what to fell. Betrayal, hurt, pride? Too many emotions flooded his mind.
Anakin spoke up again. "But you don't know the full story!" he said, putting a hand on Luke's arm.
He pulled away. "I know enough."
"No, you don't! Do you remember the stories I told you?"
Luke racked his brain. "I suppose, but what do they have to do with anything? It was about a boy…"
"...Who was a slave. The boy was rescued by a good Jedi who wanted to train the boy to become like him. When he became older, the boy fought in a war with his master and apprentice and the men who all had the same face, but different personalities."
"What are you saying, Dad?" Luke asked, though he already knew the answer.
Ben spoke up. "It's true. All of it. The war, the Jedi. It's all true."
Suddenly, Luke felt himself in his father's arms, breathing heavily. "Why didn't you tell me?" he said weakly, biting his lip.
"It will be explained soon, but first… I need to see someone. Well, a few people," Anakin said with a bit of lust in his voice.
"Who?"
Walking to her ship, Ahsoka suddenly felt a presence. A presence she had not felt since since…
"Ahsoka."
Her blue eyes jolted up. It was his voice. Less war-torn, seemingly older, but totally his.
"Ahsoka," he muttered again.
She took a sharp intake of breath. "Anakin." Before she could even turn around, she felt warm arms around her. Her master was here, it was him!
"Ahsoka!" he repeated again, and she was certain that he was in tears. Ahsoka looked him in the eye. Yes, her master had been aging while he was away. Then again, so had she. She didn't even have to look up for their eyes to meet.
"Ahsoka…" Anakin said. "I missed you."
She let her eyes tear up. "Skyguy."
"Snips," he smiled, laughing.
"I can't believe it… why are you here?" she choked out.
Anakin ignored her. "You're taller… are you taller than me?
"No, it's just the montrals."
They smiled at each other for a moment
"So, why are you here?" Ahsoka asked rapidly. "I thought you said that you weren't going to join up."
"Yeah, well," Anakin chuckled, "it's a long story."
She gasped slightly. "Is Master Obi-Wan here? And... Luke?"
"They're here," he told her. "Actually, Rex came to Tatooine to try and recruit me for Senator Organa. Luke overheard everything, we had a feud, and he stowed away on Rex's ship, went on some rebel adventure, and met Leia."
"He met Leia!" she said excitedly. "Do they know?"
"Oh no, but apparently Luke could tell that Leia was Force-sensitive and that brought up a whole lot of confusion with the rebels. Then the Jedi, uh, Kanan, told them that Anakin Skywalker was a Jedi, and now Luke has even more questions."
"That is a very long story," she noted. "And I couldn't put it past Kanan and Ezra to tell Luke something like that."
"You're familiar with them?" Anakin asked. "Rex told me about them a little, but I don't know much."
"Kanan Jarrus was a Padawan who survived Order 66. Depa Billaba's apprentice," Ahsoka explained. "He and his crew found Ezra Bridger on Lothal and Kanan discovered that he was a strong Force-sensitive."
"I'd like to meet them some time."
Ahsoka laughed. "Kanan would be starstruck."
"So… if Padmé's okay with it, I'd like to tell the twins. Everything," Anakin said.
She smiled. "I think that's a good idea. They've waited too long."
"But I'm going to have to deal with Padmé first," said Anakin nervously. "Huh. Sixteen years that I haven't seen her, and I'm anxious instead of pleased."
"I'm sure it's a nice mix of both," said Ahsoka pleasantly, patting his back. "C'mon. I want to go tease Skyguy Junior."
"Skyguy Junior. I like it."
"So, what's your story?" asked Luke with no remorse. He, Han Solo, and his co-pilot, a Wookie named Chewbacca, were seated at the dejarik table on the Falcon.
"What do you mean, kid?"
"I mean, why smuggling? For a pilot like you are, there are probably a ton of other job opportunities other than smuggling," Luke pointed out.
Ha's jaw unconsciously tightened. "I'm not a guy with a story. Now, your dad, a Jedi? That's a different story." After Luke gave him an expectant look, he continued begrudgingly, "Let's just say I got caught up with a criminal syndicate. You don't wanna hear it."
Chewie growled in protest, but Han put his finger up to quiet him.
"Hey, Luke?" came Anakin's voice from the doorway. "Come on outside, I need to introduce you to someone."
Luke shrugged, smiled at Han, and went out. "Yeah?" he asked.
Anakin and a female Togruta were standing there. When she saw him, she smiled gently.
"Luke, this is Ahsoka Tano," said Anakin, who fondly looked to the woman. "She's a Jedi."
"You're a Jedi too?" Luke asked in bewilderment, sounding like an eight-year-old kid again.
"Yes," said Ahsoka. "In fact, your father taught me."
Anain chuckled. "I did my best."
"You look like your father," muttered Ahsoka, "and you have his personality and stubbornness."
"Hey!" said father and son in sync and Ahsoka laughed.
"By the way, I have something to show you, Anakin," she said, pulling out two lightsaber handles. One was a bit longer than the other one and they seemed to be curved slightly.
"Where'd you get them?" asked Anakin, intrigued.
"Inquisitor," she said simply. "Want to see them?" Luke nodded.
Closing her eyes, Ahsoka activated them, revealing a bright white color in both. Anakin grinned. "Ahsoka, this… no Jedi in the Order had white sabers. Well, other than Tera Sinube, of course. How did this happen?."
"After I gave up my green lightsabers to convince them I was dead, I went to the moon of Raada. After a while, an Inquisitor tracked me down, but I defeated him and took his lightsabers. When I touched them, they turned white," said Ahsoka, smiling.
"Wait, how did that happen?" asked Luke, perplexed. "Why were they red in the first place?"
"There are fallen Jedi or Sith, the ancient enemy of the Jedi, who try to force their way into a lightsaber. When they do this, the crystal 'bleeds' and turns red," said Anakin.
There was a pause. "I still don't get it."
"That's alright," he replied. "Now, it's time for you to get to bed."
"But I still need answers!" Luke pouted.
"Tomorrow," said Anakin. He turned to Ahsoka. "I'll see you in the morning, Snips."
She hugged him. "Goodnight, Skyguy."
When she was out the door, a voice called from inside the Millenium Falcon. "Hey, what about me? I was promised payment!"
Anakin rolled his eyes. "In the morning, Mr. Solo. Senator Organa is working out the payment and you'll be well on your way." In reply, there was a simple grunt and a roar from Han's Wookie companion.
"Fine, but I'm a busy guy. Don't keep me waiting."
Anakin escorted Luke to a room near his. Obi-Wan also had a room of his own.
"Sweet dreams, Luke," called Anakin when the boy was ready to go to bed. Drifting off, Luke heard quietly, "May the Force be with you."
It was a dream, he knew it. But it seemed as if he was there, in this space that looked something like an arena. A black and white pattern adorned it, making out a pattern of balance.
From what he could tell, Luke was part of the air. He tried to yell, but his mouth wouldn't open. He attempted to move his head, but even that didn't move. Dreams were weird.
Suddenly, Luke's vision flashed so that it seemed as if he were standing, but he still could not speak or move. In front of him were two figures, an old man with a pointed white beard and… a younger version of his father! Yes, it certainly was his father, except that his face looked even more weary than usual and no gray streak lined his hair.
The old man spoke. "It is time to face your guilt and know the truth," he said in an odd warped voice, like two voices coming from the same mouth.
A loud screeching was heard and Luke's vision again went to the sky, where two winged beasts, a white one and a gray one, were soaring. In each's claws, they held a figure, but they were too far away to make out the faces. Anakin's face filled with fury.
The beasts landed, still roaring, but now Luke could make them out. In the dark figure's claws was a Togruta who he could only guess was Ahsoka. Then, in the white beast's claws was someone who he could hardly recognize with the light brown beard that covered his face. Uncle Ben, or Obi-Wan as he was probably called at the time, had only had that brown-colored hair when Luke was very little. Over time, it had faded away to leave gray hair and an unruly beard.
The dark creature with red facial markings screeched. Ahsoka yelled with one arm reaching out, "Whatever it wants, don't do it, Master!"
When Luke looked the other way, he saw Ben struggling. The light beast roared in protest.
"Let them go," Anakin growled in a tone Luke had never heard him use. "I will not play your games!"
"Oh, but I think you will," said the old man in his warped-up voice. "I have ordered my children to kill your friends." Whoa, those things were his children? Talk about a messed up family. He continued, "The question is…" Suddenly, the man was up on a higher level of the arena. "... which one will you choose to save? Your Master, or your Apprentice? You must now release the guilt and free yourself by choosing!"
"No!"
Ben panted, "Their powers are too strong for us, Anakin. Save Ahsoka!" She grunted, struggling to get free of the dark beast's grasp.
"Let. Them. Go," muttered Anakin with newfound purpose, wanting vengeance.
The man shook his head. "Only you can make my children release them."
"Anakin!" Ben called again. "This planet is the Force. Use it." Luke's father closed his eyes and took a breath.
Suddenly, his eyes opened. In the same warped voice as the old man, he said, "You will let them go." A blast emanated from his hands, sending the beasts and their prisoners stumbling backwards. Raising his hands and grunting, the creatures lifted off the ground against their wills. Anakin sent another surge forward and in the night sky, clouds quickly covered and the formerly morning sky turned to night; sun replaced by stars. Lightning flashed and Luke sought to find cover, but it was no use.
Gently, Ahsoka and Ben were lowered to the ground, both panting yet in awe of what was happening.
Anakin clenched his fists and brought in his arms while the beasts, still suspended in the air, began to pull forwards by their chests. He extended his arms out, causing the creatures to go crashing against the arena walls.
As soon as they were down, they were up again, and so were Uncle Ben and Ahsoka. The Togruta got in a battle stance with a green lightsaber while Ben produced a blue lightsaber, but Anakin was too quick.
"Down!" he bellowed, pulling down the dark beast. Facing the light beast, who was going towards Ben, he also pulled it, yelling, "On your knees!"
The two creatures appeared to be choking, writhing in pain as they bowed before him. Their wings flapped, but it was no use. Luke stared on, frightened, but he couldn't escape. It was impossible.
Their forms shrunk until they were seemingly in the bodies of a man and a woman. The man had a white face with red markings and was wearing all black clothing. His counterpart had a woman's face and was wearing a flowing green head dress with white clothing.
Before Luke knew it, the morning sky had returned. Light shone through the walls of the arena and Ben and Ahsoka peered around.
The old man was back again. "And now you see who you truly are, Only the Chosen One could tame both my children," he explained as the figures stared up in pain.
Anakin's breaths were labored. "I've taken your test. Now fulfill your promise and let us go."
"Ah, but first, you must understand the truth. Now, all of you, leave us," said the old man.
Ahsoka looked up at Anakin, as at this age she wasn't as tall as him yet. "Do not trust him," she growled.
"You think?" he replied sarcastically.
"I said, leave us." The two figures, Ben, and Ahsoka left the arena. He turned to Anakin. "Do you feel your destiny? You must see it now! I am dying, and you must replace me."
"Replace you," said Anakin skeptically. "I can't stay here."
The man began pacing. "But… this is yours! It has been foretold. The Chosen One will remain to keep my children in balance."
Anakin shook his head and backed away. "No," he said surely.
"I… cannot force you to do this. The choice must be yours. But leave, and your selfishness shall haunt you, and the galaxy."
Anakin looked down, conflict raging in his eyes.
Luke woke up.
There we go. Anakin is an overprotective father, Skyguy and Snips reunion, and Han and Luke's friendship starts because Luke is nosy. Oh, and Luke has a kriffing Mortis dream. I pulled an LPK9 at the end there.
Hope you enjoyed this chapter! Sorry if some things seemed mixed up. I have a vision in mind for this story, so I'm trying to get there. Review or PM me if you have any burning questions.
Until then, May the Force be with you and God bless!
