Rays of hope
Chapter seven
Sometime later once the shooting had begun inside the base. None of the base personnel just knew what the hell was going on with Syria's fighting against them and including an American breaking into the main control room for where several top-secret programs for the military.
There were two scientists working behind the glass of the control room when Doctor Robert Jenson fired his weapon into the glass breaking it. While his associates broke in killing the two doctors and taking the main database.
Jenson had stopped for a moment as his head was once again beginning to hurt again with seeing images in his mind as if he's been through this before.
Telling the associates to hurry up with taking the intel from the main computer drive worth a fortune for those interested. Jenson turned and fired his rifle as three security officers of the base rushed in with the alert. He fired dropping two of them, while a third hit Jenson in the arm, while his friends helped him to move out of the control room section and outside to their truck.
Explosives had been placed by his associates while Jenson was placed into the back of the truck bleeding. Yuri joined him by looking for the first aid kit in order to place a pressure bandage onto his arm with the bleeding. Along with the antibiotics and shots to stop any type of infection.
"Take it easy Jenson I got your back. We're heading back to base camp and take care of the data that we had required."
Jenson was breaking hard trying to relax as Yuri was cleaning up the wound with the solution. "What about the bullet?"
"When we get back I will be able to remove the bullet so that you're able to head back to work at the hospital," he says with the solution burning slightly.

16 hours later...
Billy Melrose, Francine, and Robert were glad to finally landed at the Syria airport after such a long flight with the three stops.
Representatives from IFF had shown up to drive them to hotel Rosalie some five miles away from where Lee Stetson was located working at the hospital. There haven't been any sightings of him for the past 24 plus hours. Employees of the hospital had said that he had walked out of the hospital and someone had noticed that he was placed into a black truck before moving off.
Even his own boss had no idea where he might have gone since not really having any real friends.
"Sir whenever you're ready to head for the hospital. Just call for an escort and I will be sure they will be very helpful?" Lt. Flin Erin tells Billy Melrose the information.
"Can we go to the hospital first to see if Lee is there now after the past 24 plus hours? we can sleep afterward Lt. Erin," he said with both Francine and Robert agreeing.
"Sure sir." Everyone was able to place their belongings into the truck before heading out of the airport busy for the early morning and with the blazing sun up high having to be in the high nineties.
Sometimes LATER...
The truck with the IFF team from the states had arrived at the hospital. Billy said that with his report on Lee that he will usually be sitting on that bench with a woman I have no idea is." he said with a tone that was not sitting right with Francine and Robert.
"Lee will never fool around with another woman Billy when he loves Amanda a great deal?" Francine had to say since she used to love Lee Stetson for a number of years without getting that love back.
There was a black truck arriving in front of the hospital when Francine noticed it. "Billy look it's Lee?"
"This can't be this easy Francine?" Billy said telling Francine to head inside to see if Lee is able to recognize him at all.
"Fine," she said with taking a deep breath. Moving away from the group. Robert felt bad that Francine was going through this with Billy ordering her to do her job.
Francine took her time walking across the street with only a few vehicles around with the heat and humidity.
Opening the double-doors to the clinic of the hospital. She was able to see Lee talking to the same man that he was with getting out of the truck.
He then moved away with Francine to stop with finding a seat as Lee had gone or rather was going to move into some type of an office. Seeing his name tag on his white gown. She called out to him. "Doctor Robert Jenson can I speak with you?" she said with butterflies in her stomach.
"Yes, how can I help you, ma'am?" Lee said with his head beginning to hurt slightly.
"Are you alright doctor?" Francine said with placing a hand on the back of her shoulder placing a tracker on his white coat.
"Headache mostly. I have been getting them more often during the past month. Don't worry I will be fine." he said with asking why she was here in the first place.
"It was a mistake that I stopped you. I had thought that you look like an old friend of mine from way back," she exclaimed with her comment.
"And what is his name by chance?" he asked.
"Lee Stetson of IFF a film company back in Washington, D.C. He's married to a woman named Amanda. They have been married five years with one son Lee Jr. with another baby on the way." she replied with her heart pounding having to be talking to him like this.
"Really! Why would you think he will be here in Syria and not the states? The last time I have been to the United States was five years ago for a special medical conference. If and when this man comes here. Where do I contact you with the Intel?" he asked.
"I will write it down on a piece of paper," Francine said while Doctor Jenson wrote something down on a card that was sitting on the counter in his office.
He wrote something down for which she didn't bother to look at for the moment.
