Chapter nine
Francine was a wreck getting herself ready to walk on over to Billy's suite. Her stomach had been up in arms for the past few weeks. She was beginning to wonder what had been going on.
Walking out into the corridor of the hotel. It was empty at the moment to make it easier for her in general.
Moving to be standing in front of his suite door. She knocked on the door waiting for Billy to tell her to come inside and she hears his grumbling for the most part.
"Do you mind telling me what is going on?" he asked with seeing the expression on her face. "What's wrong Francine?" he said with grave concern with the gruffness of his voice.
"Lee called me Billy. It was a quick call telling me that Syria's regime is planning on attacking the Lawrence military base with him tagging along in a few days. He wanted to let you know so that you're able to let the proper authorities know the intel." she had taken a deep breath.
"Anything else?" he said with looking at her face scare.
"He told me to talk with Amanda to tell her that he loves her a great deal and is sorry that he had to leave with finding out about the baby. He doesn't know when this deep cover is going to end," she responded with tears falling.
"The president of the united states doesn't know either with the regime. Lee no doubt will have to follow through with trying to figure out who exactly is in charge of the regime."
"Do you realize that it might mean his life as well? He told me that the drugs they had been using were why he wasn't able to remember why he had been in Syria in the first place with the operation. Plus the fact he's been shot in the arm for which had been taken care of." she noted with her comment.
"I will be sure to call the appropriate people in regard to the attack on the Lawrence military base. As for Amanda, she will need to be told the truth no matter what the president had told me not to due to trying to protect the woman," he says.
"I will call her." she will say with Billy agreeing to the idea.
She walked out of the suite to head back to the suite to make that call to Amanda. It was different going to be awkward for the most part telling her what Lee had to say over the phone.
Robert was finished with the room service food while sitting on the couch watching the local news. Even though none of the news was in English for which he's not able to understand the language. "How did it go for you telling Billy about the call?"
"It wasn't easy to tell him. But he's going to be calling those involved. While leaving me the job of calling Amanda." she looked at the time having to be 12 hours difference the next day.
Finding her cell-phone in the same place. She goes to pick it up by bringing up her contact number onto the screen.

Amanda had just gotten back from dropping her son Lee Jr. at the bus station in order for her son to attend school with all of the other students only 15 minutes away from the house. Meanwhile, her mother Dottie was on vacation with her husband of five years has left for Hawaii for two weeks.
She had walked into the house when her cell-phone had gone off in her purse. She had been a nervous wreck ever since her husband had gone missing for two months.
She pulls out her cell-phone to see that it's Francine calling her having to be 12 hours in the past. She was concerned as she answered the phone.
"Francine what's happening for you to be calling me?" she had sat down on the couch in the living room.
"Listen this is hard for me to say but Lee is alive and well as of now after the past two months," she said.
"So what has he been doing Francine for which I need to know for sure before I begin thinking?" she was saying something that Francine had been thinking that she might think that Lee is fooling around with a woman.
"Listen the President of the United States two months ago asked Lee to work on a deep undercover operation in Syria. He was told not to say anything to you in order to protect you and Lee Jr. I was able to speak with two-short conversations. But he does know about you being pregnant again and right now all he said that he loves you a great deal."
"If he did love me Francine? he would be home with our family. When I told lee when I stopped working I had asked him to stop working these types of deep-cover operations." she cried out.
"I didn't know this Amanda. Maybe the President of the United States might have had more Intel for when it came to the deep cover operation?"
"I don't care right now at this point. I have decided to divorce Lee since I am always tired of his roaming. I had thought things will be better since getting married and with me stepping down from IFF since having had Lee Jr. I will finish talking sometime later with my lawyer. I have nothing more to say Francine." she hung up on Francine.
She turned to face Robert. "What happened Francine?" Robert could see her reaction.
"I just can't believe that Amanda is going to be filing for divorce from Lee?" she said with tears falling down her face.
"Why would she do this knowing that Lee had been on a deep cover operation?" he said with anguish.
"She said something that they had made a pact once Lee Jr. was born that he would stop down on any deep cover operations," Francine commented.
"It just doesn't make any sense. Unless it's all part of the act to make everyone think that she was going to be divorcing Lee?" this idea had made the both of them thinking that it was possible!
