"If this is the case Doctor. Are the doctors here at the base are able to tell on whether I will have any more issues with the loss of memory?" Lee needed to know before heading back to the states.
"They already have checked Lee and found that all of the drugs that had been in your system are now gone along with a normal brain function. As to why you're able to come back to normal as to why you were here in SYRIA in the first place?" he said with scribbling notes onto his yellow pad.
"Why do I feel that I am at a lost now with my life after being gone for two months, Doctor?" Lee needed to respond in regard to his feelings.
"Because you were lost Lee Stetson having lived a new life as a doctor at the hospital. But now that your memories have come back. What is happening in the states in regard to your wife Amanda and son Lee Jr.?
"My wife Amanda decided to divorce me after all of the lies I had told her while we were married and prior. All for the sake of being an agent. I had said to her that I will give up all of the deep-cover operations in order for us to stay safe. But I wasn't able to do it and decided to come here instead of with the President of the United States asking me. But now I have paid the piper with losing her and my son Lee Jr." he said to the doctor.
"Is there any way that you're able to change her mind with the divorce and talk with her about quitting IFF altogether?" Doc said to have Lee shaking his head.
"I can't do that Doctor. I have been with IFF 20 plus years and no woman has ever had me stray from IFF and so won't Amanda," he exclaimed with his words with needing to get up for a moment having to be tensed out.
"So you're the one to lose out on a life with a wife and child. It's inside your file by IFF that you're a type of man that can't stay with a woman long enough and this includes being married to Francine Desmond for two years while working in Paris." This information had made no sense to him at all.
"I have never been married to Francine let alone for two years and living in Paris. Where does it say I was married to Francine?" Lee said with the doctor opening up his personnel file on the agent and out pulled out the marriage license as with Amanda's.
"Here is the proof Lee. I am truly sorry that you weren't able to remember this part of your earlier life. Maybe drugs having been used on you in the past might have wiped that part of your memories and the IFF doctors weren't able to realize what was happening.
"What I wasn't able to understand is the fact that Francine never mentioned it to me when she came to talk with me across from the hospital?" he said with extreme emotion.
"Maybe your memories are not complete right now. Since you're still suffering Lee and you need to check into rehab of sorts when you arrive back in the states. Or else you're never going to be the same again?" he said with writing notes on the pad.
"I just can't believe this Doc. This entire undercover operation has really screwed me up Doc?" he cried out rubbing a hand through his salt & pepper head. He's gotten old during the past two months along with losing his wife and child. "What else can I lose Doctor?" Lee responded by taking in a deep breath.
"You're life!" he quotes.
"I will set up a session with a therapist back in the states before she decides on a course of action. Her name is Doctor Sarah Goodman with IFF for 15 years. She is the best they have for when it comes to things like this?" he quipped with his words finding out his life is gone with Amanda and Lee Jr. He was going to need to build up a new life in general.
"Very well good luck Lee Stetson and try to keep me updated if possible?" he requested with the man in front of him broken.

Amanda had heard from the court that the divorce has now gone through having to be officially divorced from Lee. From what Billy Melrose had said to her earlier in the morning that the doctors have released him and will be catching a transport back to the states.
"Listen Amanda I will take care of it by informing Lee about officially being divorce and that all of his personal belongings will be at the IFF storage region. He's to not show up at the house in order to see you or his son for now."
"I am so upset Billy that this had to happen after five years of marriage. But what is this news that Lee was married to Francine Desmond?" Amanda had to say.
"Not true Amanda. His brain with the issues of his memories had come up with that detail to have him thinking either way. His doctors and including Doctor Sarah Goodman will be working on that once Lee arrives back into the states." Billy signed with his words over the phone.
"I hope so Billy. I really feel bad that he has to suffer like this nevertheless? But if he's able to help thy self maybe I will be able to consider having him visit Lee Jr. But not before Billy!" she exclaimed standing in the middle of the kitchen.
"Do what is necessary Amanda in order to protect yourself and your son Lee Jr.?" Billy hung up the phone to cover his face in his office trying to relax the stress factor.
