Chapter 23th
"Mother I need to do this with going to Syria to be with my husband?" she said to her in front of her mother arriving. She is going to be staying at the house taking care of Lee Junior for how long it will take to bring Lee home from the husband and settle things.
"But why did you have to lie to me about the fake divorce in the first place Amanda?" Dottie was livid when it comes to her daughter not using her brains.
"I told you before mother that it was all part of the job for IFF. I know that you're not been able to understand why I stayed with IFF as an agent, in spite of the fact that my husband had a number of enemies for 20 plus years. And now that the President of the United States and others have been arrested due to the coverup with the Syrians and the attacks on the military bases overseas."
"So you want me to keep an eye out on Lee Jr. while you're overseas?" Dottie examined.
"Yes, I do mother for how long it will take. Understood? I need to get my life back into order again and continue on." Amanda needed to say the truth.
"Understood!" Dottie said with heading upstairs from the kitchen to take care of Lee, Jr. While her daughter went to pack her things after updating her Coronavirus testing card to show on the flight to Syria as with her passport and other papers.

Doctor Montese had finished up with his patient IFF agent Lee Stetson from the United States. He was able to remove the bullet fragment from the top part of the thigh along with another specialist to repair the muscle and cartilage damage.
Meanwhile, Stetson had stayed in recovery for an hour before being moved to ICU with his own private alcove. There was one visitor allowed to see him and that was Lt. Robert Baskins for IFF to sit with him until he wakes. Meanwhile, Doctor Montese had checked the pressure bandages since there wasn't any additional bleeding.
Robert had asked when he had thought that the patient was going to wake.
"I have no idea at the moment. Since you did tell me that the past few months that he suffered from a great deal of stress."
"I understand Lt. Baskins." Doctor Montese walked away to check on his other patients from the base.
Robert had sat down on the chair next to his bed watching his face wake. It wasn't going to take all that long after having the conversation with the doctor.
He had heard a moan escaping from Lee's mouth. He had gotten up to call for a nurse in the ward. She had made the call to page Doctor Montese standing at the nurse's station. He came over to the alcove with his medical bag.
"He's waking doctor. It's about time!" Robert was as excited that Lee was waking after the past two months with the nightmare and now his shooting.
"Welcome back Mr. Steston. You're going to be fine?" he will say to his patient asking for some cold water with his throat and mouth feeling like mothballs.
Robert was able to pour a small glass of water from the pitcher that was sitting on the table. "DRINK SLOW." HE SAYS as the doctor checking his eyes, leg, and mostly his vitals.
"Where am I, Doctor?" Lee said with a slight croak with his response.
"Hawaii military base. There was an order from the Government to bring back the flight for which you were on a transport plane. There was shooting from an SYRIAN rebel that had taken you out into the upper thigh of your right leg. The damage had been repaired Mr. Stetson." he says with giving him a clean bill of health. Except for the fact that the doctor was going to have him transported back to the states in a few days.
"Robert, does Billy know what has happened?" Lee needed to know with asking of the question.
"He knows Lee as with Amanda. She is on her way here to Syria with Billy as her escort. The truth is now out about your fake divorce. Why is the key question to you?"
"In order to draw out those involved in the operation and no doubt with the President of the United States," Lee responded.
"From what I understand the President of the United States is in a heap of trouble with too much evidence to prove that he was behind the entire operation to take you down and any or all attacks on the overseas military bases. By the way, aren't happy that Amanda is coming to Hawai to help put back the pieces?" Robert asks with emotion in his demeanor.
"Of course I am happy she is coming to be here? I am worried about whether there are any other Syrian agents that just might go after Amanda?" he's concerned for his wife and pregnant with their second child.
"They would be stupid to try something again on this base Lee. The entire military base is now on full alert." Robert had said to his friend and associate for IFF.
"They can do anything to get onto the base for they are to realize what is happening in the first place," Lee announced with having to deal with them for a while now.

Flight 4581 Aurolift Dulles Airport
Amanda was slightly nervous about this idea of hers to fly to Hawaii to meet up with her husband. Even though she didn't like the fact that Billy was coming along for the ride as her escort. Though she is able to take care of herself.
She was sitting next to him as he was asleep with the flight a long one before reaching the Military base in Hawaii. She wasn't able to sleep. So she decided to read the newspaper given to her by the stewardess.
