Hello!
Firstly, I hope you had a lovely Christmas, and my best wishes to you and your loved ones.
And secondly - Good news! That's The Woollen Olive Branch now available on Amazon as an e-Book, and can be downloaded to your Kindle, tablet or phone.
The paperback will be out shortly, so just keep an eye out online if you're interested in that.
The original version of this story, which was posted online earlier this year, was 39,000 words and 6 chapters, but the extended/edited version that has been published is 54,197 words and 14 chapters (57,750 words if you count the additional non-story pages, such as the dedication, acknowledgements, and so on).
I'd so like to have been able to post the majority of the story for free online for readers to hopefully enjoy, but alas, sadly, that is not permitted, so I can only give a preview of up to 10%. Therefore, I've included the full first chapter of the book, along with snippets from chapters 2-4. I'm being sure to include this page here at the start so that any new readers can be fully informed that the whole story is unfortunately not available here, so they can make a decision about whether they wish to read on or not.
For those who do decide to get the book, whether it be in physical or electronic form, thank you so very much for your kind support, I truly appreciate it. And if you read it and like it, then please do feel free to leave a review here or on Amazon, I'd love to know if you enjoyed it.
Before I go, I just wanted to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and New Year! I know I've been pretty quiet on the whole posting front in 2022, but I've been preoccupied with becoming a Mum (she's doing great, by the way, wee monkey), and also being quite unwell at times. Even so, I want to thank all my lovely readers who have been an incredible support over the past year, and indeed, over the past couple of years since I started writing fan fiction. North and South means so much to me, along with our beloved John and Margaret, so it's been a pleasure and a privilege to be able to share in that with you.
So here's to you, and here's to 2023 and lots more scribbles to come!
Lots of Love, and God Bless, C x
