She sighed as he kissed her neck, coming down from the intense high of the passion they shared only moments before. He had awakened her with soft kisses to her bare shoulders before turning her over and taking her without a word. It was exciting being with him in that way, and she couldn't believe the way their bodies worked together so beautifully. She was even surprised how much she enjoyed simply sleeping in the same bed.
They had made love for the first time upon arrival to their hotel. She was relieved afterward, even though she wasn't sure that was the proper emotion to feel. There was so much lead up and tension surrounding their first time, and she was simply ready for it to happen so they could move on to the better times. Which, much to her surprise and delight, happened twice more the night before.
"Good morning." She giggled at his muffled words as he placed his final kisses against her neck before disconnecting their bodies, pulling her against his chest to keep her close.
"Good morning to you too."
"Did you sleep well, Baroness?" She laughed, feeling that she would probably never get used to being called that. The title was a bit intimidating.
"I slept beautifully. And you? I didn't kick you or anything, did I?" He chuckled, unable to remember when he had slept better in his life.
"Not at all."
"Good. I was a little worried I wouldn't make a good bed partner."
"You've been nothing short of amazing, I can assure you." She smiled, cuddling closer to enjoy his warmth for a bit longer before they ordered breakfast. Her body felt tired and a bit sore, but she also felt safe and loved in his arms. It was a feeling she wasn't sure she had ever experienced in her entire life, and she welcomed it with open arms and an open heart.
"So what's the plan for today?"
"Well, I have something special planned for tonight, so today I thought we would do something a little more relaxed like shopping or nearby sightseeing."
"Something special? What does that mean?" She rolled over a bit so she was partially on top of him and could look into his eyes, smiling excitedly. He groaned as her naked body pressed against his own.
"Well, we will never make it out of this bed if you don't stop wiggling against me." He ran his hands over her back, caressing her backside briefly before resting on her hips. She smiled, eyes widened in surprise at his words.
"Really? We've only just finished." She wiggled herself against him again, causing him to laugh and hold her closer.
"What can I say, I'm a complete animal." She leaned down and kissed him, slowly pulling away.
"So it's good then?"
"You tell me. Is it good for you?" She blushed deeply, not meaning for him to turn the question back on her.
"Well, yes. I just wonder if there's more I should be doing." He kissed her again and rolled on top of her, pinning her beneath him as he looked into her eyes.
"There's plenty of time for all that. You've been absolutely wonderful." She smiled, accepting one more kiss before he stood from the bed and walked toward the bathroom. She held the sheet against her chest and sat up, running a hand through her hair to smooth it a bit. She knew it had to look incredibly messy at that point. Taking a deep breath, she looked around for something to wear. They hadn't even taken the time to unpack their pajamas or robes or anything of the sort, they had simply tumbled into bed and stayed there. "Are you starving yet?"
"Yes, completely!" She laughed, turning her head to see him walking toward the phone to call for breakfast, still stark naked. "Georg, you're just going to walk around like that?"
"It's nothing you haven't seen by now." He chuckled, looking around the table in their room to see if there was any kind of menu.
"Yes, but don't you feel exposed?"
"I didn't until now."
"Oh, I'm sorry, darling! I didn't mean that you should...I just...well, I couldn't do that, myself." He chuckled, finally finding what he was looking for and walking toward the phone.
"We also haven't unpacked a thing. I didn't have a lot of options handy." He picked up the phone to call as Maria looked around the room, finding that her clothes from the night before were scattered all over the place. She held the sheet to her chest as she leaned far over to try grabbing her slip, at least to have something to hold over her when she got up, but it was too far to reach.
She saw Georg watching from his phone call, smiling at her struggle. She rolled her eyes, knowing he would be absolutely no help to her. Clearly he had no issue with his own body; of course he wouldn't, she mused. After a moment of thought she gave up, there was no point in trying to stay modest with him after he had seen her naked and at her weakest moments of pleasure several times by then. She tossed the covers back and stood from the bed, meeting his eyes with attitude as she walked to the bathroom herself.
She could hear him trying not to laugh into the phone as she closed the door, smiling to herself. She really did love everything about him, she thought as she started the shower. Fifteen minutes later found her walking back into the bedroom, a towel around her this time, in search of something to wear for the day. Georg had put on a pair of pajama pants and his robe and was in the process of unpacking his own suitcase. He seemed surprised to see her as she unbuckled her suitcase and began searching. Feeling his eyes on her, she looked up in question.
"What's wrong?"
"Oh, nothing. You're finished with your shower?"
"Yes. I'm sorry, did you want to go first?" Was there protocol she didn't know about when it came to bathroom etiquette, she panicked.
"No, it's not that. It's just that you were so fast. Breakfast hasn't even arrived yet." She wasn't sure what she was supposed to say. It simply didn't take her very long to shower, she supposed. Suddenly she felt a bit self-conscious, though she wasn't sure why. "I've just never met a woman who doesn't take hours to get ready, is what I mean."
"Well, I'm not sure what they're doing. It doesn't take that long to get clean." She shrugged, pulling out her dress for the day. He chuckled, moving closer to kiss her lips.
"What I mean to say is, I love you." She met his eyes and gave him a knowing look. She was being a bit sensitive, but she also knew there were a lot of things she seemed to do differently, or more practically, than the women in their social circle. She just didn't understand the fuss.
"I love you too. I'm sorry for being sensitive."
"You don't have to feel that way with me, I promise. I quite like that you don't waste time with nonsense." He moved back to his task of unpacking as she began dressing, feeling his eyes on her now and then. "I just have no idea why you're late to everything then."
