"Maybe some of us should look for the Holy Grail," Mark suggested, "You know someone might have seen a golden cup laying about."
"Like the cup that we got our gems from," Sara said slowly, "It's in the Storage Unit!" she jumped up, "Come on, the monster will show up in the storage unit eventually let's go."
…
Sara fumbled with the door to the storage room, "That's odd," she said, "I can't get the door to open."
"What?" Mason cried out, "Impossible, the only time an entrance is locked is if someone is watching the entrance."
"Well you try Mason," Sara snapped stepping back, "It isn't opening."
Mark placed a hand on Sara's shoulder, "If Sara says that it isn't opening then it isn't opening," he insisted.
"That must mean that someone who knows about the entrance and how the enchantment works is inside the storage unit," Melody announced, grasping Frank's hand, "Which means that Mason is right about Mr. Knight, he's the only one besides us who knows about the Encampment."
"If they know about the entrances they might know how to get into the Encampment," Frank said, "They could have heard us talking."
"Our Sanctuary not safe?" Sara asked, glancing at Mason with wide doe-colored eyes.
Mason nodded his head, "It's starting to look this way, but if Mr. Knight was working for Morgana from the beginning then why not just hand over the Holy Grail? And Why wait until now to strike like this?"
"Because time is running out," Sara said softly, glancing at her friends, "If even a fraction of what Uncle Tommy and my mom told me about her is true then she's fighting Morgana's control. Morgana must be afraid she's going to lose her host, which she can't survive without."
"That's not helping us get into the Storage Unit," Melody pointed out.
… Knight Academy's Principal's Office…
Tommy didn't even bother knocking, as he threw open the door, why was he always working with an evil principal? "Okay Mr. Knight, I think it's time you tell us what's going on?" he demanded, only to blink, Mr. Knight was in conference with a parent that he recognized from Angel Grove, "Oh, um, Hi Kat," he said, awkwardly.
"You wanted something?" Mr. Knight asked, sounding suspiciously smug, as if he had an idea about what he wanted to talk about but thought he wouldn't dare talk about it with a parent in the room, too bad for him Kat would hopefully take the side of her old teammate.
"Yes, someone deactivated the Monster Security Alarms," Tommy announced, "A monster has totally trashed the Library searching for the Holy Grail."
"Oh dear," Mr. Knight said, "Don't worry the power rangers will take care of that."
"Mr. Knight," Ms. Johnson had finally caught up to Tommy, entering the room, "How do you expect us to protect the Holy Grail if we don't know where it is?" she paled as she saw that Mr. Knight wasn't alone.
"She's fine," Tommy insisted, before turning towards Mr. Knight, "But we need to know, who are you and what have you done with the real Mr. Knight."
"Honestly I didn't want people to know where the Holy Grail really was," Mr. Knight insisted, "It's in the Basement."
…The Storage Unit…
"Look," Mason shouted, pointing to a golden cup laying on the ground, "Right where Sara left it."
"I seem to remember it looking a little different," Melody exclaimed, bending down to pick it up.
There was a flash of color and the whole Storage Unit disappeared around them.
"What's going on?" Mark demanded as the Storage Unit reappeared beneath them.
"I don't know," Sara confessed, "But I think we should head back to the Encampment," she walked over to the suit of armor and pulled up the visor to open the secret passage. Only nothing happened.
"What are you waiting for?" J.T. asked, leaning past Sara and moving the visor himself, again nothing happened.
"Something must have happened to the Encampment," Mason said, turning to the others, "We can't get back in."
"Let's checked the other entrances," Melody insisted, "There's no way that all of the entrances are locked."
"I bet Uncle Tommy or Ms. Johnson would know what to do," Sara insisted
"They went to talk to Mr. Knight," Frank announced, waving his hand in a follow-me motion, "Let's go."
…The Basement…
"So what exactly is going on?" Kat asked, "And how in the world did I get involved in this?"
"I didn't want you to feel left out," Tommy insisted as he flipped a light on, "Besides it's about time that I wasn't the only power ranger that gets pulled into every little situation he walks into."
Kat snorted, rolling her eyes, it had been how many years since she dated Tommy and he still was the same. Although she had to admit that Tommy had a point. Even in his different uniforms, she was able to pick him out.
"Something's wrong," Ms. Johnson announced, lowering her wrist from her mouth, "None of the teens are responding.
Tommy glanced at Kat, "Okay, let's head to the Storage Unit and find them."
...Just outside Mr. Knight's Office…
Sara frowned, "Doesn't look like Mr. Knight is in his office," she announced, staring through the darkened window."
"I'm surprised that we haven't found Uncle Tommy and Ms. Johnson yet," Mason said, "If they aren't here then we should have met up with them by now."
"Maybe we're not thinking," J.T. announced, pointing to his watch, "We can contact them on our communicator."
"That's a watch," Mason announced, raising his own wrist up, looking at where his communicator used to be, "Mine's gone too," he gasped.
"What are we going to do?" Frank asked, "We don't have their phone numbers because it's against the rules for teachers to give their phone numbers out to students."
"We could try emailing them, we do have their emails," J.T. suggested, "But who knows how long it will take for them to see the message."
"I could call Uncle Tommy, he's my emergency contact, I had his phone number since I got a phone when I was ten," Mason offered, pulling out his phone, "Yes, his number is still here!"
He quickly dialed the number and pressed his phone to his ear, "Come on Uncle Tommy this is important, don't tell me that you forgot your phone," he muttered, before letting out a surprised gasped, "Uncle Tommy, you have your phone on you, good, something's wrong with the Encampment, we can't get in." There was a pause for a minute before Mason continued, "The Encampment, the Sanctuary for the Legendary Mystical Power Rangers? You know like the command center in Angel Grove, only more outdoorsy."
There was another pause, "You know where you and your friends would regroup after a battle with Rita Repulsa? With Zordon?"
Another pause, "What do you mean you don't know what I'm talking about? Zordon, he was a wizard from the planet Eltar, he was trapped in a time warp by Rita Repulsa. He trained you and your friends to be power rangers… What do you mean What are power rangers?"
Mason dropped his hand away from his ear, "Uncle Tommy has no idea what I'm talking about."
"What?" Sara exclaimed, "But he's The Tommy Oliver, since Zordon died he's been the leading expert on all things power rangers."
"Unless we've been sent into another dimension where there are no power rangers," J.T. suggested, "I saw a movie once where this guy was shown what would have happened if he was never born. It was an old movie black and white, but Grandma insisted that I had to watch it."
Sara grabbed one of her braids, tugging on it nervously, "I think J.T. is right, it's the only explanation, It's the only way in the world that Tommy Oliver would have no idea about power rangers."
"But how do we get back to our dimension?" Frank asked, "What do we do?"
"I..." Mason trailed off, "I don't know, usually we have Ms. Johnson and Uncle Tommy to help us figure this stuff out."
"What are we going to do then?" Mark asked, "If Uncle Tommy doesn't know anything about power rangers, neither would any of our families, right?"
… The Encampment…
"Look, I've only been here once before," Kat said, glancing around at the Encampment, or at least what was left of it, the whole thing was trashed. The tents were all toppled over, with huge slashes in them and the round table was cut in half and all scratched up.
"This is just like the time that Goldar and Rito blew up the Command Center," Tommy announced, picking up a book that laid somewhat in front of the pink tent, "Only this time there isn't a power chamber beneath it to take its place."
"I kind of feel violated," Ms. Johnson insisted, looking around at the debris, "This was our safe place."
"And no one can get in here except us," Tommy mused, "One of the others must have been affected by a spell or something."
"Look, good luck with all this," Kat said, sweeping her hands around her, "But I'm retired in case you've forgotten, so, if you would kindly point me to the nearest exit I think I'll make myself scarce."
"You know," Tommy said, "I've been pulled out of retirement several times."
"Yes but you're Tommy Oliver," Kat pointed out, "I'm just Kat Hillard."
"We still are missing six students," Tammy exclaimed stepping between the two former teammates, "If that gets out it would ruin the reputation of this school a whole lot more than all these monster attacks have."
… The Dorms…
Sara stared at the sign on her dorm door, it looked just like the sign that has always hung on the dorm door, only there was one major change, her name was different, not by much, but it was a huge difference, "Oliver?" she gasped, "Melody according to this I'm Sara-Lee Olivia Oliver, but that means..."
"You and Mason are actual cousins?" Melody suggested, checking her phone, "Huh, Rocky just texted me… So we know that he's in this dimension. I wonder..." she trailed off as her thumbs through across the screen of her phone, "Let's see if he has any theories. 'Rocky suppose you found yourself in an alternate universe where you are a super hero, how would you get home?'"
There was a chime, and Melody glanced at her phone, "'What kind of game are you playing? It sounds fun, can I play?' Well, it sounds like Rocky." she confessed, typing away on her phone, "'You are playing, how would you get back home?"
"Simple, I'll find a super hero with techno powers and have them build a device to send me home."
"Great," Melody texted back, "But what if they accidentally sent a group of teenagers back with you, how do you get them back into their own universe?"
"Oh, tough one, I'll probably ask my friend Billy about it, and he'll figure out what to do."
"Billy Cranston is in this universe as well," Melody announced, "If we can convince him that we are from a different dimension, he might help us get back."
"Yeah, but how are we going to do that?" Sara asked, "Billy is super smart he's not going to believe a bunch of teenagers."
"Well, it's the only real option I can come up with," Melody insisted, "Maybe the boys have a better plan."
...The Storage Unit…
"Well, this isn't good," Tommy said, turning to his ex-girlfriend and his co-worker, "they aren't here," he said as if the other two can't tell that the storage unit was totally empty. Tommy bent down and picked something up, "But they had been here," he announced, "Here are their communicators."
A/N: Next time on LMPR: With the Teens trapped in another Dimension, Tommy and Ms. Johnson must find a way to protect the Holy Grail from Morgana on their own.
