"Well, this isn't good," Tommy said, turning to his ex-girlfriend and his co-worker, "they aren't here," he said as if the other two can't tell that the storage unit was totally empty. Tommy bent down and picked something up, "But they had been here," he announced, "Here are their communicators."
"So you have no idea where my son is?" Kat said.
"He might not, but I do," a sing-song voice called out, "There's no way that they can stop me now," Morgana announced letting out an evil cackle.
"Wow," Kat announced, snickering slightly, "It seems odd hearing Kim do an evil laugh."
"I know right," Tommy said, pulling out his morpher, "It's distracting, but not as much as when Morgana flutters her eyelashes."
"Seriously?" Kat asked, stepping back, she didn't have a morpher so she wanted to stay out of the blast zone, she didn't need the morpher to fight, but it did help. Besides, Kimberly was once one of her friends, she had been the first true friend she had made when she had moved to Angel Grove.
Tammy morphed into the purple ranger, "Seriously," she insisted, charging Morgana.
Morgana dodged easily out of the way, "Anyway, your precious little power rangers have been sent through a vortex, they can't help you now…." Morgana's face twisted before relaxing, "Unless you find Morgana's Vortex creature and defeat it." Morgana's face twisted into a scowl, "Shut up!" she shouted.
"Ha," Tommy cried, "Kimberly is fighting you, she's getting stronger each day, pretty soon you won't be able to fight her."
"Keep dreaming," Morgana snarled, "This body is mine now."
"I'll see about that," Tommy snarled.
… The Dorms…
"So how do we get ahold of Billy Cranston?" Frank asked, leaning against Melody's desk, even though it was technically against the rules to have a student of the opposite sex in your dorm Melody and Sara thought having a private place to talk was more important, and since the Encampment didn't exist in this dimension, there weren't any other options.
"I don't know," Mason confessed, "Uncle Tommy only became friends with Billy and the others because they were power rangers, without that in common I doubt they would have a friendship that would have lasted after high school."
"But my mom was friends with Billy since preschool," Sara announced, "and in this universe, she didn't die, or at least she had time to marry Uncle Tommy."
Everybody turned to the redhead.
"What are you talking about?" Mark asked, tipping his head to the side.
"Well apparently my last name is Oliver in this dimension," Sara explained, "And Uncle Tommy's number is programmed into my phone under 'Dad,' so I kind of put two and two together. Also, I have a phone number under Mom."
"Wait coming here messed up our phones?" J.T. asked, pulling out his phone in confusion, "But why does my phone still have pictures of our dimension, why I still have a video of us morphing."
"Why do you have a video of us morphing?" Melody asked.
"I wanted to see what it looked like, it's pretty awesome."
Sara snapped her fingers, "Focus," she demanded, "We could use that to convince Billy that we are telling the truth, what we need to do is get his phone number, I'll try calling my mom, Mason you try Uncle Tommy."
"What do we have here," a new voice called out causing the teens to jump, Ms. Johnson was standing in the doorway, leaning against the door frame, "You know the rules."
"I'm sorry," Sara insisted, "It's a family emergency, Mason and I need to talk to my parents right away."
"and the others?" Ms. Johnson insisted.
"Moral support?" Mason offered, "Please we aren't doing anything wrong."
"Except completely breaking the no boys in the girls' dorms rule," J.T. pointed out, "But we don't have the Encampment to meet in now."
"What?" Ms. Johnson asked, blinking.
"Nothing," Melody announced, pushing everyone else to the door, "Let's go to the library."
… The Storage Unit…
"Watch out," Tammy called out, "The Blade Bug is right behind you."
Tommy whirled around, swinging his chain mace at the beetle-like creature, who quickly dodged out of the way. Tammy slammed her glaive into another creature that looked more like a moving ball of mud than anything else.
The mud creature opened its mouth, "Tammy watch out," Tommy shouted, swinging his mace around before knocking it into the creature, "When it opens its mouth it creates a vortex that can send us into a different universe."
"You know," Tammy grunted, evading a blow from the Blade Bug, "I prefer when it's one monster against eight of us."
"Or a hundred to one with foot soldiers," Tommy added, "But this one-on-one stuff is just..." he paused long enough to land a blow on the Blade Bug, "Weird."
"Focus Tommy," Tammy insisted, "We need to make sure that they don't get the Holy Grail."
… Cranston's Laboratories…
"Do you realize how much trouble we will get in if they find out we left school premises without permission on a school day?" Frank asked as they dismounted the bus, "It's already past Curfew," he announced, pointing to his watch, "We are so going to get expelled."
"We aren't even from this Dimension," Sara pointed out, rolling her eyes at Frank, "We have to get back."
"We have to figure out a way back," Mason agreed, "No matter the consequences."
"You know, Billy Cranston probably went home by now," Melody pointed out.
"Well, you're from Angel Grove," J.T. offered, "Do you know which house is Billy Cranston's?"
"No," Melody confessed, "But I know which house is mine, and where the old youth center was, and," she paused for a second, "We can always go to Rocky and Aisha's place, it's in Stone Canyon so it isn't so far from here. I bet Rocky knows where Billy lives."
"Won't your brother find it odd that you are pursuing the hypothetical answer to a hypothetical question?"
"Na," Melody insisted, waving a hand to dismiss the thought, "He would think that I just got really into the game he thinks I'm playing."
"And if he doesn't," J.T. continued, "We can always show him the video of us morphing, I mean how can you disagree with a video."
"It might work on Rocky, but Billy is smart, he'll probably claim that it's edited." Melody pointed out, "But it just might be our best chance on getting home."
"Well then let's go," Sara insisted.
"Do you realize how much trouble I will be in if my brother decides to call our parents?"
"Let's not think about that." Frank suggested, "Let's just focus on getting home."
… Rocky's home…
"Let me get this straight," Rocky started, handing J.T. back his phone, "The six of you are from an Alternate Universe where we are superheroes known as power rangers, and you need me to help convince Billy of this so he can help build a device to send you back to your dimension?"
"Yep," Melody insisted, leaning closer to her brother, "Can you help us, Rocky, please?"
"So, um, what happened to our versions of you when you showed up?"
"They might have been sent to our world, or they could be in Limbo," Mason explained, "No one has ever really confirmed what all goes on when this stuff happens."
"So my sister could be facing a monster right now and be expected to fight it?" Rocky asked.
"Yep, that pretty much sums it up," Mark finished.
"Well, then I better call Billy then," Rocky announced.
...The Storage Unit….
Tommy dodged a knife thrown by the Blade Bug before smashing into it with his chain mace. Tammy quickly threw her glaive into the bug monster as well causing it to explode.
"One down, one to go," Tommy grunted, turning to face the only monster left, the Vortex Creature, if they defeat the mud-like creature then the teens would be returned from where ever they were sent.
At least they had an advantage, now there was only one monster and two of them. For some reason, Morgana had disappeared, and she hadn't called in any dark knights, although that could mean that she was looking for the Holy Grail and the Vortex Creature and Blade Bug were simply distractions.
Tommy quickly rolled out of the way of the Vortex Creature, swinging his mace at it. One thing was sure the Vortex Creature was slow. He had managed to land several blows before the Creature managed to get away from him, only to dodge right into Tammy who finished the creature off.
There was a puff of smoke and six teenagers appeared out of nowhere. Sara glanced around in confusion, "I don't think we need to worry about convincing Billy," she announced.
"Are we sure that we're in the right universe?" Mason asked, "What if we landed in… I don't know, a universe where my uncle is evil or something?"
"Seriously?" a silver ranger asked, giving Mason a look, "I'm right here?"
"Yes," Sara said, "But are you evil?"
Tommy glanced over at the others, "Are they serious? I am not evil, I haven't been evil since my green ranger days honest."
Mason and Sara looked at each other before bursting out in laughter, "Yep," they said in unison, "We're good."
J.T. brushed past Mason and Sara and peered out a window, "Hey, just out of curiosity, but what exactly does the Holy Grail look like."
"It's supposed to be a golden goblet," Ms. Johnson explained, "Why?"
"It doesn't happen to be that golden goblet, does it?" J.T. asked, motioning at the window. The others rushed over to it and peered outside, where Morgana was standing in the middle of the lawn a golden goblet held triumphantly over her head.
"I'm going to assume by her triumphant poster… Yes," Mason said.
"If she drinks from that cup it will return her body to its former glory," Ms. Johnson said, "Or at least that what all my study said.
"'Her body to its former glory?" Tommy quoted, "Out of curiosity what would happen if Morgana leaves her host and attacks us without drinking from the cup?"
"Well," Ms. Johnson said, "She'll have about two hours and each spell would be weaker than the next, why?"
"I don't want to mention it out loud yet," Tommy explained, doing a little dance, "But if I'm right, I'll be busy next Saturday night."
A/N: So that just happened, Morgana found the Holy Grail and is about to drink from it, but Tommy seems to be on to something. Can the power rangers save the day one last time?
