Chapter 6 is out. I was busy rewriting the past 5 chapters. Chapters 1 and 3 had major changes, while Chapters 2, 4, and 5 had minor changes. It is recommended that you take a glance at them. This chapter is long, and it is the last chapter of the Kalos mini arc.

Chapter 6: Searching for Aerodactylite!

It was a beautiful sunny day in Ambrette Town. Many people saw this as the perfect opportunity to bask underneath the sun or to count the fluffy white clouds in the sky; however, three children and their Pokémon, who were standing in front of a cave, had very different plans.

"That is it!" Goh happily exclaimed as he peered into the cave. Unlike most caves, this cave was the Glittering Cave, and it was named that for a reason. Part of its interior were covered by Luminous Moss or crystals, making the cave glittery from the outside.

"Wow!" Chloe said as she observed the cave. It was beautiful, and she was taking pictures with her pink Rotom Phone. Ash too was admiring the scene, while Goh was busy digging through his backpack, looking for something.

"Where are they?" Goh frantically asked as he stuck his head into the backpack. "It's in here somewhere!" Cinderace and Sobble sweatdropped at Goh's behavior. He could sometimes be quite childish when he was too excited or agitated.

Ash walked over to Goh and inquired, "What are you looking for?" Promptly, Goh popped his head out of the backpack and began tossing empty Pokéballs behind him. Unfortunately, one of the Pokéballs collided with Ash's face, causing Ash to fall backward.

"Pika! Pika!" Pikachu snickered at the scene. This wasn't the first time Goh accidentally threw a Pokéball on Ash.

"My pickaxes," Goh responded as he was continued removing items from his backpack. "I used them when we were searching for fossils in Kanto and Galar." Suddenly, he stopped. "I found them!" he shouted with glee. "Now, let's go in, and dig for an Aerodactylite!"

He turned around and saw the mess he made. Some of his clothes were on the floor, and a bunch of Pokéballs were scattered on the ground, "Oops!" he embarrassingly said as he looked at the mess he made. "Let me clean this up first before we go in."

After Goh placed all the items back into the backpack with the help of his friends, they entered the cave and began walking. There was almost no sound except for the dripping of water, and they temperature slowly plummeted as they walked deeper into the cave. "According to my research," Goh boasted. "The deeper we go, the higher the chance we have of finding a Mega Stone!"

"Goh?" Chloe questioned. "Some of the walls are chipped, and the holes don't look natural. It looks like other people have been in here before."

"Ee!" Eevee chirped. She agreed with her trainer. Despite the natural beauty of the cave, she was beginning to notice how ugly the holes were.

Goh nodded at Chloe's worlds. "Ambrette Town has a fossil laboratory," he explained. "Most of the damage were made by scientists excavating fossils and Mega Stones from the cave."

"Wouldn't that make it harder to find an Aerodactylite?" Ash asked Goh. "It's possible that the scientists or other people already found some."

Goh chuckled and spoke, "Most of the digging is near the surface. Most people wouldn't bother going into the deepest part of the caves because of the Pokémon who live there. As long as we don't disturb them, we should be fine."

"Sob!" Sobble quietly said. He didn't like the idea of being deep underground. It made him nervous, but he was thankful that his big brother Cinderace was here to protect him.

True to Goh's words, the more they walked, the less holes they saw. Eventually, they reached a point where there weren't any holes on the wall. Goh pulled out his Rotom Phone to check how deep they were. "I think this is enough," he piped. "Let's start digging!"

Goh, Cinderace, and Sobble began digging on one side of the cave, while Ash, Pikachu, Chloe, and Eevee covered the other side. It was going to be long and tedious task, but Goh didn't care. He was determined to find the Mega Stone for Aerodactyl.

Goh was about to place his pickaxe on his wall, until something fell beside him. He looked and saw that it was a Pokémon. "What?" he hesitated. He looked up and guessed that it must have fell from the ceiling. He then grabbed his Rotom Phone and scanned the Pokémon:

"Ferroseed, the Thorn Seed Pokémon. Ferroseed absorb minerals from rock by penetrating the walls of caves using their spikes."

"Alright! A Pokémon that I don't have," Goh eagerly said as he stood up. "Quick, Cinderace! Use Pyro Ball on Ferroseed!"

"Cinder!" Cinderace exclaimed as it started to kick a pebble from the ground. The pebble caught on fire, and he directed it straight at Ferroseed.

"Ferro!" Ferroseed wailed as the super effective attack hit it. It tumbled backward from the impact and collided with the ground. The ground beneath Ferroseed cracked slightly from the force.

"Pokéball, go!" Goh shouted as he threw a Pokéball at the Thorn Seed Pokémon. "Great!" his Rotom Phone exclaimed as soon as Ferroseed entered the ball.

"Ferroseed's data will be added to the Pokédex!" the phone later said.

"Yes!" Goh exclaimed as he high-fived Cinderace. "Great job! Now, let's get back to work."

Goh proceeded to pick up his pickaxe and started striking it against the cave wall. The recent catch of Ferroseed made him even more excited about the cave. "If I still have time after finding the Aerodactylite, I can catch more Pokémon in Kalos!" he mused.

However, Ferroseed's catch did not go unnoticed. There was a figure behind a rock that was glancing at Goh. These humans looked like they cared for their Pokémon, and they were different than other ones it saw. "Chop," it whispered to itself as its eyes were fixated on the trio. Maybe they could help its friends.

Half an hour passed, and everyone was exhausted from digging. Ash and Chloe were sitting on the ground resting, while Sobble and Eevee were sleeping. Other than Goh, Cinderace and Pikachu were still digging, but their efforts were sluggish and futile. Goh was getting frustrated as he chipped off a piece of rock. "There has to be a smart way to do this!" he thought. "I need the opinion of someone who has a Mega Evolution Stone, but who?" He stopped digging and sat down. Seeing this, Ash casually approached him.

"Goh, is everything alright?" Ash gently said as he shook Goh by the shoulder. He was guessing that his friend was disappointed in their search for the elusive Aerodactylite.

Seeing Ash, Goh suddenly got up in excitement. "Ash?" he spoke with an expression of hope on his face. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but you have travelled throughout Kalos! Is that right?"

Ash nodded. "I travelled Kalos to collect Gym Badges and to enter the Kalos League," Ash responded with a smile on his face. "I did pretty good in the League. I was runner-up!" Kalos was one of his favorite regions that he travelled, and he many plenty of good friends and rivals.

"So, you must have a Mega Evolution Stone! Right?" Goh inferred from Ash's words. Hearing this, Ash's expression changed. There was a frown on his face, and he scratched his head.

"I'm sorry, Goh, but I never gotten a Mega Evolution Stone," Ash sadly replied. "To be honest, I always wanted one, but I had something else that could rival the power of Mega Evolution."

Goh was dejected by Ash's answer, and the flame of hope in his eyes was put out. "Oh," he stated with a tone of disappointment. "I was hoping you knew anything about Mega Stones that could help us." He sighed and continue digging for the stone.

Ash then snapped his fingers as an idea popped into his head. "I remember something!" Ash professed. "When Korrina was searching for a Lucarionite, her Lucario could sense its presence nearby! Maybe if you call Aerodactyl out, he could sense Aerodactylite!?"

Goh listened carefully to Ash's words. "It's a worth a shot," he asserted as he grabbed Aerodactyl's Pokéball. He looked at it for a second before yelling, "Aerodactyl, come on out and help us search!"

"Aeroo!" Aerodactyl roared as it appeared in front of Goh. It began to tilt his head sideways and wander in a small circle around the group. It suddenly stopped at the crack in the ground and probed its head on it.

"I think Aerodactyl is trying to tell us that there's something beneath that crack!" Ash interjected with a large smile on his face. "Break it open with your pickaxe!"

Goh carefully thrust the edge of his pickaxe into the crack and slowly pried the crack open. A bright light filled the cavern, and everyone looked away from it. But Goh continued to open the crack until it was big enough for him to place his hand into it. He blindly groped around inside the hole, until he felt something. It was large and round, and he could feel powerful energy radiating from it. "Could it be?" he thought as he carefully pulled his hand out of the crack.

As soon as his hand was out, he looked at the object in his hand. There was no mistake. It was a Mega Stone. It gleamed in Goh's hand, and it was purple. There was a swirl inside of the orb, and it was the symbol of Mega Evolution.

"Is that it?" Chloe asked excitedly as she leaned forward to touch the Mega Stone. She felt some sort of energy passing through her body, and it was indeed powerful. Goh quickly opened his Rotom Phone and searched. Then, his face broke into a wide grin as he showed a picture to Ash and Chloe.

"I found it!" Goh trembled as he lifted the stone in the air. "A Mega Stone! I finally got one!"

"Cinderace!"

"Sobble!"

"Aerodactyl"

All of Goh's Pokémon jumped up in excitement for their trainer. Goh could finally Mega Evolve Aerodactyl! Aerodactyl was also thrilled to become more powerful. With the power of Mega Evolution, he could battle many strong Pokémon.

"Congrats, Goh!" Ash commented as he looked at the Mega Stone. "That is so awesome! Now, you'll need to get a Key Stone and find a way to attach the Mega Sone to Aerodactyl."

When Goh heard the words "Key Stone" from Ash, he stopped laughing, and a panicked expression formed on his face. "Oh no!" he despaired and wailed. "I totally forgot that I need a Key Stone! I need to find a way to get one soon. If I don't, we won't be able to Mega Evolve since we promised Cerise that we'll return to Kanto tomorrow!"

Before Ash could calm Goh down, a voice shouted, "Machop!" and the trio turned around to see a Pokémon standing behind them.

Chloe pulled out her pink Rotom Phone and scanned the Pokémon with it:

"Machop, the Superpower Pokémon. Machop have muscles that never tire, no matter how much they exercise. Machop have enough strength to throw 100 average-sized adults."

"It looks strong!" Goh commented as he pulled out a Pokéball. "I'm going to catch it too!"

"Machop!" Machop exclaimed, and it hurriedly charged toward Goh with a gleam in its eyes. It was staring at Goh's Aerodactylite and knew that it was a perfect opportunity to lure the humans deeper into the cave.

"Cinderace, Blaze Kick!" Goh ordered as he saw the approaching Machop. Cinderance rushed toward the Machop and prepared to kick it with its strong blazing feet, but Machop dodged the attack and continued charging straight for Goh.

"Goh!" Chloe yelled in worry as she watched the incoming Machop. "Get out of the way!"

Goh jumped to the side, but he accidentally let go of the Aerodactylite while he tumbled onto the ground. The Aerodactylite slowly rolled away from him and stopped near Machop who was no longer running.

"Don't you there touch it!" Goh warned as he stared at the Superpower Pokémon. He and his friends worked too hard for it to be taken, but Machop didn't listen to Goh. He swiftly picked up the Mega Stone and running deeper into the cave, taunting "Chop! Chop!"

"Goh! Are you alright?" Ask asked as he lifted his best friend up from the ground. He appeared to be alright physically, but the expression on his face showed his broken spirit.

Goh collapsed to the floor on his knees and struck his fist onto the ground. "I can't believe it!" he wailed as he processed what just happened. "Machop took my Aerodactylite! We worked so hard to get it, but it just came and took it! Now, it's somewhere in this cursed deep cave!"

Ash and Chloe looked at their depressed friend, and they felt extremely bad for him. Goh always wanted to Mega Evolve Aerodactyl ever since Cerise told him, and Machop had taken Goh's chance away. Ash looked forward into the deeper part of the cave. "Never give up till the end, Goh!" he comforted his friend while pumping his fist up in the air. "We'll go after that Machop and take the Aerodactylite back from it!"

"Pika! Pika!" Pikachu shouted as he patted Goh's back. Cinderace and Sobble also went over to comfort their upset trainer, while Aerodactyl began walking deeper into the cave. He was furious at Machop for hurting his trainer, and he was planning on giving the Pokémon a large piece of his mind.

"You guys," Goh spoke with awe. His friends and Pokémon were willing to help him get the Aerodactylite back. Realizing that complaining wouldn't help him, Goh stood up and pointed forward into the cave. "Alright!" he exclaimed with a determined expression. "Let's find that Machop and get Aerodactylite back! Right, Aerodactyl?"

"Aerodactyl?" Goh asked again as he looked around for him, but he was gone. "Where did he go!?" Goh continued questioning in confusion.

"He must have gone to look for Machop by himself," Ash deduced with a confident tone. "He must saw how upset you were and went to retrieve the Aerodactylite for you!"

"Pikachu!" Pikachu agreed with Ash. Aerodactyl also wanted to get stronger with Goh, and he was looking forward to Mega Evolving as well.

"In that case," Chloe chimed in as she and Eevee were already walking deeper into the cave. "Let's go in and search for Aerodactyl and the Aerodactylite."

Suddenly, they heard a horrifying scream inside of the cave. It was Aerodactyl, and it sounded like he was in a lot of pain. "Aerooo!" Aerodactyl wailed loudly.

"Aerodactyl!" Goh exclaimed with worry as he rushed toward the sound's direction. His Pokémon was in trouble, and it was his fault for not paying attention at Aerodactyl and letting him find Machop by itself.

"Come on, Pikachu!" Ash shouted as he ran to keep up with Goh. "Let's follow him!"

Cinderace picked up Sobble, and the rest of the group quickly followed Ash and Goh.

"Aerodactyl!" Aerodactyl groaned as he was electrocuted by a group of hunters. He was trapped in a cage, and he was badly injured. After he walked into the cave, he met a group of three people who were capturing Pokémon. Some of the Pokémon were in cages, while others were turned to stone. He attempted to fight the hunters to free the Pokémon, but he didn't stand a chance against a certain hunter and her Salamence.

"Restrain it. I'm sure we can sell that Aerodactyl on the market," the trainer with the Salamence ordered as she looked at the Fossil Pokémon from above. "We might able to make up for the money we lost when the two buffoons I sent failed to capture that Shiny Trevenant. Continue searching for the asset. Once you found it, let me know immediately."

"Yes, ma'am," the other two hunters saluted. They were searching for a powerful Lunatone in these caves for a special client, and they ended up catching many different Wild Pokémon as bonuses to their scheme.

"Aerodactyl!" a voice shouted, and the hunters stopped working once they heard it. A boy was approaching them, and he looked extremely agitated. As soon as he saw his Aerodactyl, he gasped at Aerodactyl's injuries and angrily looked up at the woman riding on top of her Salamence. "What did you do to him?"

"Silence, child," the woman cruelly responded as she looked at Goh. "Salamence, get rid of him with Hyper Beam."

"Sal!" Salamence stated as it began charging up the Hyper Beam attacked in its mouth. It directed the white beam toward Goh and released it at him. Goh was paralyzed when he saw the attack. He tried, but he was too terrified to move. The Hyper Beam came closer and closer until, Ash yelled:

"Dragonite, counter it with your Hyper Beam!"

Salamence's Hyper Beam was blasted away by Dragonite's Hyper Beam, and Goh saw Ash and Chloe running toward him.

"Goh!" Chloe asked as he rushed to her childhood friend. "Are you alright?"

Goh nodded at Chloe's question and noticed that Ash was furiously looking at the woman.

"Pokémon Hunter J!" Ash crossly fumed at the hunter as he pointed at her. "What are you doing here in Kalos? I saw your ship get destroyed in Sinnoh."

Even Pikachu looked furious at the hunter. "Pikachu! Pikachu!" Pikachu angrily glared as he recalled how J captured him and turned him to stone.

"Ash Ketchum," J looked at the Ash and Pikachu with an expression of rage on her face. "You have grown, but you have messed with my plans for far too long. You will not stand in the way of this plan! Salamence, eliminate them permanently with your Flamethrower."

"Dragonite, deflect the Flamethrower with your Hurricane!" Ash roared as he continued to scowl at J.

Salamence released a stream of red fire at Ash, but Dragonite began rapidly flapping his winds. The flapping created a powerful wind that deflected the fire stream off its course and forced it to hit a nearby wall.

"Cinderace! Let's help Aerodactyl out!" Goh exclaimed as he pointed toward Aerodactyl. "Free Aerodactyl with Pyro Ball!" Cinderace lit a pebble on fire and aimed it at the cage, but it was stopped by a bolt of electricity.

"I don't think so, kid," a hunter approached Goh with an Electrike. "Use Shock Wave on Cinderace."

"Cinderace! Use Blaze Kick!" Goh commanded as he pointed at Electrike. Cinderace charged toward Electrike, while the Lightning Pokémon released a wave of electric energy at Cinderace. The wave slammed hard at Cinderace, but Cinderace continued charging and attacked Electrike with its flaming feet.

Electrike was thrown backward by the attack, but it continued to stand and glared at Cinderace. The other hunter ran over to help and released a Croagunk.

"This isn't good," Goh commented as he looked at the Electrike and Croagunk. Electrike could still battle, and the Shock Wave had dealt some damage to Cinderace. He had a huge disadvantage, and he glanced up to see Dragonite slamming into Salamence with a Dragon Claw. Ash was still busy dealing with J, and Sobble was hiding behind Goh.

Suddenly, he saw Eevee leap out onto the ground, and she was standing to the right of Cinderace. Goh turned and saw that Chloe was standing near him.

"Chloe, it's too-" he began to say, but he was cut off by Chloe speaking.

"Goh, we'll take on them together!" she stated with a firm voice. There was determination on her face, and Eevee yelped, "Eevee!" as it faced Electrike.

"What a waste of time! Use Thunder, Electrike," one of the hunters shouted as it pointed at Chloe's Eevee.

The other hunter ordered, "Poison Jab on Cinderace."

"Alright!" Goh exclaimed with hope on his face. "Dodge it and use Quick Attack!"

"Eevee! Copycat!" Chloe yelled as she pointed toward Electrike.

Cinderace charged toward Croagunk while glowing blue and successfully dodged Croagunk's purple arm. He then slammed into Croagunk, causing Croagunk to tumble onto the floor.

"Croagunk!" Croagunk roared as it got up. It was panting, but Cinderace also looked tired.

Meanwhile, Eevee and Electrike's bolts of electricity were in a stalemate. Both sides were attempting to overpower the other, but eventually Electrike's Thunder was stronger, and it blasted Eevee.

"Eevee!" Eevee screamed as she collided with a wall. She was knocked out, and Chloe didn't have any more Pokémon to battle with.

"Electrike, teach that girl a lesson. Use Quick Attack on her!" the hunter ordered with a menacing smile on his face.

Chloe gasped as she saw Electrike charge toward her. She began to run, but she tripped on a rock and fell onto the floor. Electrike was just about to hit her, until something collided with Electrike throwing it off course.

"Electrike!" Electrike angrily growled. Chloe looked and saw that it was Machop standing in front of her.

"Machop!" Machop roared at Electrike and at the hunter.

"You again!" the hunter accused as he pointed at Machop. "I thought we got rid of you, but you still came back. Ugh! Use Bite, Electrike!"

Electrike rushed toward Machop and opened its mouth to bite the Superpower Pokémon, but Machop slammed its fist up Electrike's chin, and Electrike was thrown upward from the impact. Electrike smashed into the cave's ceiling and fell crashing onto the floor. Its eyes were in spirals, and the hunter gulped as he recalled his Pokémon.

"Cinderace, stand up!" Goh worriedly shouted as he looked at Cinderace panting. "You can't give up!" While Machop attacked Electrike, Croagunk successfully poisoned Cinderace with another Poison Jab, and Cinderace was struggling to continue fighting.

"Finish this with Revenge," the hunter stated as it pointed to Cinderace. Croagunk charged toward Cinderace and was about to land a hit, until it was blasted by a stream of cold water in its face. Croagunk stumbled backward from the blast and used its hands to wipe the water out of its eyes.

"What?" Goh confusedly asked as he looked behind. He saw that the water came from Sobble.

"Sob! Sobble!" Sobble exclaimed as he bravely stepped in front of Goh. He was going to protect his trainer and his best friend Cinderace.

Goh looked at Sobble with awe. "Sobble. You want to protect us?" he questioned. Sobble didn't looked intimidated at all, and there was a serious expression on his face. Sobble nodded at Goh's response. He was ready to battle.

"Let's do this!" Goh confidently shouted. He believed in Sobble. "Sobble, use Pound!"

"Croagunk, beat that pulp with your Mud-Slap!" the hunter demanded.

Croagunk began shooting blobs of mud at Sobble, but Sobble sweated and disappeared. "What?" the hunter asked as he saw that Sobble was gone. Croagunk stopped shooting and looked around with a perplexed expression on its face.

"When Sobble comes in contact with water, it can disappear," Goh explained with a grin. "Now, Sobble! Hit Croagunk on the head!"

Sobble appeared above Croagunk and slammed on the Toxic Mouth Pokémon's head. "Croagunk!" Croagunk screamed as it collapsed onto the ground. It was knocked out, and Sobble had won.

"Sobble!" Goh happily said as he rushed over to hug Sobble. "You did it! You won!"

Sobble blushed upon hearing that remark. Cinderace helped weakened Croagunk, and he just finished it. But it felt good to protect Goh and Cinderace. Cinderace also thanked Sobble and patted him on the back.

"Now!" Goh spoke as he turned to face Aerodactyl. "Let's free him!" He, Cinderace, and Sobble rushed over and saw that Chloe and Machop were already near the cage trying to free Aerodactyl.

"Machop!" Machop yelled as it hit the cage with his fists, but it didn't do any damage to it. Goh was shocked to see that Machop cared for Aerodactyl and that he was trying to free him. "It's not a bad Pokémon after all," he thought as he looked at Machop. "Maybe it took the Aerodactylite to force us to come here?"

Goh then carefully observed the cage, and an idea flashed inside his head. "I got it! We can rapidly heat the cage first. Then, cool it, so the steel would be weakened. Finally, we use a powerful attack on it, and the cage should break!" he exclaimed as he gestured for the others to stand back. He issues a series of commands to the Pokémon:

"Cinderace, Pyro Ball!"

"Sobble, Water Gun!"

"Machop, Cross Chop!"

After Goh shouted all those orders, the Pokémon quickly responded, and the cage was broken after Machop landed a powerful punch on the weakened steel bars. "Aero!" Aerodactyl shouted with happiness. He was finally free, and he rushed over to his trainer. The reunion was joyful, and Aerodactyl embraced Goh, Cinderace, Sobble, and even Machop in a hug. But it didn't last long. An explosion from above interrupted them, and they looked up to see that the battle between Ash and J wasn't over.

"Dragonite! You can do this!" Ash encouraged his Pokémon. "Use Hyper Beam!" He and J were still engaged in a ferocious battle, and it was unclear who was stronger. Salamence appeared to be fine, but J was furious when she saw thar Aerodactyl was free.

"Hyper Beam as well," she sourly stated. She knew that her Salamence couldn't take on a Dragonite and an Aerodactyl, so she began to formulate an escape plan. Both Hyper Beams collided, and smoke instantly filled the cave.

"Let us hope that we do not meet again, Ash Ketchum. Next time, you will pay," J warned as she pointed upward. "Hyper Beam on the ceiling."

Realizing what J was going to do, Ash quickly yelled to Dragonite, "Use Hurricane to get rid of the smoke and stop her!" However, he was too late. He saw the light of Hyper Beam go off behind the smoke, and he heard chunks of rock fall from the ceiling. By the time the smoke was cleared by Dragonite, J was gone, and the only things that were left were the trapped Wild Pokémon and the two Pokémon hunters who surrendered.

"She escaped!" Ash grumbled as he saw the gaping hole in the ceiling. Pokémon Hunter J was still out there, and he had a feeling that they will meet again.

Goh and Chloe rushed over to Ash, and together, they began to free the Wild Pokémon while Machop kept a close eye on the two hunters. When the Wild Pokémon were free, they immediately contacted Officer Jenny, and she promptly arrested the hunters.

"I want to thank you three for dealing with the hunters," Jenny remarked as she shook Ash's hand. "It was a very dangerous thing to do, but you three will be rewarded for your efforts. I will personally escort you to the Lumiose Airport, so you'll be able to catch the last plane to Vermilion City."

"Thanks so much, Officer!" Chloe exclaimed as she petted Eevee. She couldn't wait to go home and tell her father all about their adventure. On the other hand, Goh was glum and upset about the incident. He hadn't forgotten the reason why they originally came to the cave, and the Machop disappeared after they freed all of the Wild Pokémon. He was kicking a rock with his feet, until he heard a voice behind him:

"Machop!"

Hearing this, the trio turned around to see Machop approaching Goh. The Pokémon held out an Aerodactylite. "You're going to give it back to me!" Goh exclaimed with happiness as he snatched the Mega Stone out of Machop's hand. "Thank you!"

Machop nodded at Goh's words, but it then pointed to an empty Pokéball hanging on Goh's shoulder. "Chop," it said as it stared at the Pokéball.

Goh grabbed the Pokéball and faced Machop. "You want me to catch you," he asked as he looked at Machop's eyes.

Machop nodded and touched the Pokéball's button. It went in, and Goh's Rotom Phone exclaimed:

"Machop's data will be added to the Pokédex!"

"Alright!" Goh jumped up in excitement. "I got an Aerodactylite, and I caught Machop!"

Ash, Goh, and Chloe laughed as they entered Officer Jenny's car. It had been a great adventure in Kalos, but they were ready to go home.

Ash, Goh, and Chloe were on the plane heading toward Vermilion City. The sky was dark, and Pikachu and Eevee were fast asleep in their trainers' laps. Chloe was staring outside of the window thinking about their adventure, while Ash was snoring loudly in his seat. Goh was looking at his Rotom Phone, doing more research about Mega Evolution. He had found a Mega Stone for his Aerodactyl, but he still needed to obtain a Key Stone in order to Mega Evolve. Despite this minor setback, he caught lots of Pokémon in Kalos, and he was excited about the future. Yawning, he turned off his phone and closed his eyes.

The Kalos mini arc is finished. Here is a quick recap of the important events:

* Ash's Pokémon World Championships rank is 335. He faced Wikstrom and learned that he and Farfetch'd still had a long way to go.

* Goh caught Pumpkaboo, Bergmite, Vanillite, Cryogonal, Beartic, Ferroseed, and Machop. He got an Aerodactylite, but he still needs a Key Stone.

* Chloe learned more about the boys and their goals. She also battled a little with Eevee.

* Olympia had a vision of an upcoming crisis. Chairman Rose meets Lysandre in Kalos.

* Pokémon Hunter J returns.

* Professor Cerise learned almost nothing new about Mega Evolution, and he wasted both time and money by sending three kids on a research mission.

The next chapter will be a special one, and it will focus on Rose's past and/or how Lysandre survived at the end of XYZ. In the future, there will be a proper battle between Ash's Dragonite and J's Salamence.

if u plan to have pairings could you pair Chloe with ash please it's still a new pairing and they make a cute pair and she can definitely learn alot more from ash then Goh since ash is a very experienced trainer and he was a mentor before for may and dawn so I can see him do the same for Chloe to help her get stronger and better as a trainer and can teach her what he knows

Ash and Chloe's relationship will be similar to the relationship between a mentor and a student, but Chloe will also learn a lot from Goh as well. She's still trying to find her dream, and both boys will play a large part when she finally finds it. There will also be instances where she learned something new by herself.

Will Ash have any ship here?

I haven't decided yet, but if I do, it would be Amourshipping. I'm planning on bringing Serena and all the old companions back, and I will need to address the kiss and how old they are if I plan on taking that route.
