The main character and plot belongs to me. Bare with me through the first chapter - it's more of an introduction, so it's short.

There was so much pain emitting from her feeble body; pain so excruciating that the nameless young woman thought she may actually die.

A low distressed whimper escaped her as she tried to sit up, but someone pinned her down. She opened her eyes, shutting them almost immediately – the afternoon sun was intense – then gradually opened them once they adjusted.

The first thing she noticed was the chamber she was in; barren colorless walls with large stained windows. A hospital of sorts; a fancy one at that – she deduced that she was a patient. The second, was a person.

He was short, with a round face framed with fluffy dark green hair, and large eyes that stared at her in concern. She stared back, unfamiliar with him.

"Sorry for this," he said quietly. She assumed he was referring to his arm over her waist. "But the nurse said until you're healed – which might take a couple nights – you shouldn't move. I didn't have much of a choice but to subdue you."

The confused young woman nodded. She opened her mouth to speak, but her throat was dry and sore. Pointing to her mouth, she used a gesture to indicate how thirsty she was. He quickly caught on and poured her some water, handing it to her with a gentle smile. With his help she was able to sit up and take a drink.

"What h-happened to me?"

The nervous young man shook his head. "I'm not sure. My companions and I found you near the riverbed on our way here. You were injured pretty bad; covered in blood and cuts. It looked like you fell from the cliffside into the river."

Fell …

She didn't remember this. Nothing made sense to her.

"I am very sorry to trouble you like this, but I appreciate your help. You have aided me a great deal."

"It's no problem," he replied. "We couldn't just leave you like that. Who knows what might have happened to you."

I'd be dead, she thought woefully. Despite her feelings, she returned his smile.

"Do you have a name, savior?"

Embarrassed heat spread across his face. "It's Izuku … Izuku Midoriya."

"It's a pleasure," the young woman said. "I am––

A sudden realization dawned on her. Izuku stared in alarm; her expression was horrifying.

"I can't … I can't remember my name."
