TW: Fire, almost character death, swearing, and I do not ship any firefighter with Boyce!
"Sam! SAM!" I heard someone call out my name, but my world was black and I wasn't in control of my body, was I dead? I thought to myself aimlessly. "Sam!" I heard their voice call out my name again, they were getting close. "Sam, there you are…Sam!" I felt their hand on my neck. They were studying my pulse. They collapsed. "Sam, please stay with me-" They went silent, and I felt something sharp in my stomach, it felt like a helmet, was it a fellow firefighter? I felt myself fall into complete darkness.
About a day earlier:
"Good morning Sam!" I heard my coworker say. "Morning Penny, anything to report?" She looked at me with concern, "The trader is back at it again." I looked at her with concern, I knew how bad the trader was, the last one tried to kill me and Station Officer Steele(Fireman Norris back then.) "How didn't the last one die?" Station Officer Steele walked in. "Hello you lot, what are you talking about?" I looked at Penny. "The trader, he's back at it again." Steele tined pail. "Shit, how…who did he try and kill this time?" Penny sighed. "The head firefighter of Cardiff." I almost started to cry. He was my best friend at Cardiff Fire Academy. "Cyril-" They hugged me. "I'm sorry Sam." I burst into tears. About an hour later I was in the lounge with Station Officer Steele, he was trying to comfort me I was still crying. "Hey, Station Officer Steele, where has Chief Fire Officer Boyce been?" I closed my eyes 'cause I felt tired. We sat in silence for a minute. "Um, he's too scared to come here and see you, uh scene he fired you-know-what, how about I go and get you a pillow." I didn't hear him leave the room. I was asleep for about 30 minutes, I woke up from Elvis screaming lunch, but I didn't open my eyes "Sam hey wake lunch is ready." I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. Someone else came into the lounge. "Leave him alone I'll feed him when he wakes up." They removed their hand. "Ok, sir." I didn't hear them leave. It was evening when I woke back up, and this time I did open my eyes; I got up and walked into Station Officer Steele's office, "Hello sir." Station Officer Steele was at his desk. "Hello Sam, are you hungry?" I nodded as a sign of yes. I was in the lounge from just eating and I was on my way to put my dish in the kitchen when Ellie came in, she looked very fatigued. "Hey Ellie, come lay down I'll be back in a minute." "No-" All of a sudden she fell, but good thing I was right by her so I could catch her. "Ellie!" I started to feel lightheaded, and all of a sudden I started to see black dots in my vision. I realised that I was starting to blackout. "Penny, help!" Then everything got hotter and I could tell the fire station, was on fire… then my world went black.
Chief Fire Officer Boyce's POV:
I had just got done with my lunch when my station's intercom and the fire alarm went off. "Fire at the Pontypandy Fire Station!" My firefighters! I thought as I got into the station's fire truck. "Hey, dad." I looked over at Carder my son, he looked worried, but it wasn't just him..it was all of the other firefighters in the vehicle. "Yes?" "How about you stay in Newtown for this one." I thought for a second, I knew I should stay at the station, but I'm the only one on the team that knows Pontypandy. "I need to, but I'm the only one here that knows Pontypandy's area." The station Officer sighed. "How about you drive us there and we'll do the emergency." "Ok." I left the fire station in a rush, I know we'll all get a talking-to since we delayed that leave. It took about 10 minutes, but once we got there, we all walked outside of the fire engine. We sat in silence for a second until Station Officer Salas broke it. "Wow, that fire's huge." It was, but once I saw that fire I instantly felt the urge to run into that fire station. "Horatio, are you ok? You're very pale." I looked at my hands, they were indeed pale. I looked back up to the fire station; I couldn't hold the urge any longer, so, I ran into the fire.
Station Officer Salas POV:
"Chief Fire Officer Boyce, come back!" That idiot! "Boyce!" I looked at his son, was he smiling, I didn't care I knew I was in charge of the call now. "Carder, get the BA masks and you're BA as well!" "Roger that sir!" He went to get the masks.
Sam's POV:

"Boyce, BOYCE! Where are you!" The room we were in was completely golfed in fire and it was a hallway too, so I wouldn't be surprised if every room was golfed in the fire. "Chief Fire Officer Boyce!" Lead Firefighter Aaron yelled, but still no response. "Aaron, do you think he's passed out from the lack of oxygen?" He looked down. " That's a possibility." We got to a room that looked like a common room then we found 5 out of 7 firefighters. "Salas to Carder Boyce and Nurse Flood, we found Station Officer Steele, Ellie Phillips, Arnold Mckinley, Penny Morris, and Elvis Cridlington." "Roger that!" Aaron sighed, "Sam and Boyce left." I sighed, "Agreed." We heard a firefighter come up, so we started our search again. "You know sir if Chief Fire Officer Boyce wouldn't of come, we wouldn't be needing to include him in our search." "I know, but I know him, he wouldn't have done that if it wasn't this tea-" "WAIT!" BITCH! "What? Wait is that-" "Found them." STOP! Aaron reached for his radio. "Carpatheo to Carder Boyce and Nurse Flood." "Copy." "We found Sam and Boyce, were being them out now." Once we were outside Nurse Flood ran a check over them. "Boyce is about to wake up but we need to get the others to Newtown Hospital." "Right." I went over to Chief Fire Officer Boyce and sat with him. He started to stir. "Helen He's waking up." She looked at me "Well let him." Really.
Chief Fire Officer Boyce's POV:
I heard people talking around me. I opened my eyes to see Salas hovering over me. "Salas what the fuck!" "Sorry, sir." "Salas when I said let him wake up I didn't mean to scare the crap out of him!" "I said sorry!" I closed my eyes again, I must have fainted or pass-out because I fell into a deep sleep.
