Hello everyone after so long I'm finally back with a new chapter for this story , I have actually had this chapter sitting partially written for a long time but i got too involved with other stories to finish it , Sorry about that .

I am really thankful towards to the Guest and Amaterasu53 who reviewed the story .

To the Guest : i agree wth you about Shisui and I'm afraid you'll just have to wait to see if Kakashi knows , I'm afraid ;)

Itachi had been staring at his garden with feeding Sasuke wondering what was keeping his parents out so late when the large form of the Nine-Tailed Fox appeared right near the center of his village .

He quickly got up adjusting his hold on his brother. He had been instructed by both of his parents multiple times that in case of any danger like this one he should quickly make his way to the shelter .

He ran through the streets he saw buildings which had fallen apart , people who lay still while blood seeped outwards from their bodies .

He looked around hoping to see a glimpse of his parents , members of his clan or anyone he knew , when he saw her the girl he had met a few days back the one who had invited him to play with her .

Her eyes were red not just from the tears that were flowing from them but because of her Sharingan that was activated .

Itachi reached out his arm as he called out towards her it was not safe here they had to get to the shelterr , she looked at him but did not move .

He called her again and this time she moved forward too reach his and it was just in time too as the wall on which she had been supporting herself collapsed because of a large clawed paw that smashed into it.

He ran towards the shelter away from the demon that had appeared in his village out of nowhere .

His right hand still supporting Sasuke and holding on to his shirt was the girl who was an Uchiha but one he had never seen before in his compound .

As they moved forward he saw his father who was overseeing the evacuation of the civilians .

" Itachi , I am glad to see that you and Sasuke are safe " , his father stated on seeing him , " Quickly make your way to the shelter " .

Itachi nodded as he moved forward.

As they settled into the shelter along with many others Itachi watched on as the Nine-Tailed Fox seemingly vanished into thin air .

The girl beside him had stopped crying but she did not say anything , her eyes were back to the onyx color he known them to be but she still had a hold on his shirt , Itachi did not ask her too remove her hand understanding that she was upset with something .

They knew nothing about what was happening outside as they waited inside the shelter for hours.

" Itachi-Kun"

Itachi was startled awake when he heard someone call out his name .

He opened his eyes and he was was met with the face of the girl he had helped yesterday , he hadn't realised when he had fallen asleep.

" Have I been asleep for long " , he asked curiously .

" It's morning " , she said .Itachi realised he still didn't know her name .

" What's your name ?" , he asked trying to be polite.

She looked at him confused for a minute before she said " Izumi" , in a quiet voice.

" Are you an Uchiha " , he asked though he already knew she was one as she had the Sharingan but he didn't know how as he had never seen her in the compound , in fact he had never seen her before that day .

" No ...Yes... my mother is one " , she said , her eyes firmly on her hands , then suddenly she lifted her face to meet his gaze , " Why did you ask ".

" I saw you had the Sharingan " , Itachi answered , she looked at him in surprise but then nodded.

The people around them were waking up , a member of the military police force came to tell them that it was safe now .

Everyone started making their way down the , Itachi felt sad as he saw the state to which Konoha had been reduced to.

He saw Izumi talking to a woman who he guessed was her mother , since he did not want to interrupt he made his way towards his home or where it had been wondering in what state he would find his home.

he had made a significant distance when he heard someone calling his name .

" Itachi-Kun" , it was Izumi she was running after him.

He waited as she caught up to him and took a moment to compose herself .

" I never got the chance to thank you for saving me " ,

Itachi said nothing as Sasuke decided to wake up at the moment.

Izumi looked at Sasuke curiously ," Is this your little sister ?"

Itachi felt a little amused as he stated, " This is Sasuke my little brother "

" Can I hold him " , she asked a bit excited as she had never held a baby before.

" He'll cry " , Itachi had seen it before , Sasuke did not like strangers holding him , sometimes he didn't like it when people he knew held him .

Izumi had a determined determination on her face as she declared , " No he won't ".

Itachi knowing she would not let the matter go handed Sasuke over to her.

And right on schedule , Sasuke began crying just as Izumi said " You're not going to cry are you " .

If there was something Sasuke hated more than strangers holding him , it was people talking to him like that .

Sasuke did not like being treated like a baby even though he was one , his mother had learned that the hard way .

Sasuke had refused to respond to mother after she had talked to him like that .

Itachi took back Sasuke and quickly pacified him and continued towards his home home while Izumi cried out in indignation.

At another place in Konoha

Shisui cried his heart out as he held on to the cooling corpse of his mother . His eyes burning as they turned red and a tomoe formed in each eye , his father tried to console him .

Hours later , he would be informed of the death of his godparents.

Shisui would mourn their death and the death of his would be sibling who he had lost , before he even got a chance of knowing him or her.

I know this chapter is almost a copy to what happened in the anime but this chapter was essential.

Minato , Kushina , Kasumi and Shisui's father - 27 years .( I know I actually aged up Minato and Kushina by 3 years )
