The room was illuminated by a singular beam of light, the light of a ghost, which peered around decaying books and shelves, searching for something, anything to help her get one step closer. She spotted a human skeleton under a pile of rubble, which had probably been sitting for eons, she squeezed her way in and took a scan, she fluttered with joy, "Yes! Yes, this is him! I finally found him!" and with a flash of light, she had awoken someone, an Exo, and a new guardian. He wore a set of robes when he was revived, a warlock.

He awoke, coughing still under that rubble. He pushed it over with what little strength he had left and looked at himself, "Hello!" the ghost said appearing before him, he jumped backward and looked dead on at the ghost, "What the hell are you?" his voice was raspy, "I am a ghost, your ghost. Uh..-" she paused for a second, remembering something that someone told her that their ghost said, "You've been dead... For a long time, there's a lot of things you won't understand" The new guardian spoke up, clearing his throat. "How was I..-" he was interrupted by his ghost, "Listen I can explain everything later, right now we need to get out of here. Fast. I saw a fallen ship approaching this building so I'd appreciate it if you could get your barrings as quickly as possible" she hovered around, scanning everything. She was jittery and nervous, "Who's the falle-" his voice was interrupted by a loud boom, the door of the building blasted open, sending debris and dust everywhere, the guardian looked around for something he could use, he broke the bottom of a glass bottle and held it in his right hand, watching the entrance to this room from underneath a desk, prepared to use anything to stay alive. "Lynx there's no way you can fight them all and survive, we best turn tails and run" she whispered, he continued to stare at the entrance, but after a while, he hadn't seen anything. He still held the broken bottle in his hand, ready if anything were to jump out. He walked towards the main hall and turns out, the building was one big prison. Lynx observed the cells and their labels on it, he tried to search them for any food or weapons. He eventually gave up and stopped looking, just trudging his way through the deserted hallways, he looked up at the ghost, "Uh hey.. you... Uh..." the ghost twitched and chuckled, "Ghost. I have a name too you know, names Luna" she spoke very snarkily like. Lynx looked up-down, then up at the ghost again, asking "How'd you know my name?" he shuffled his feet and stopped moving, the ghost turned to face him "Names on the side of your head, in small print" she chuckled a bit when she saw Lynx touch the side of his head, he then realized he was not a human. He looked at his metal palms for what felt like years, he spoke, "What am I?" Luna looked around and scanned a piece of debris, sighed, "I can explain it all when we get to the last city, which might be a while. So I guess I can answer it here" she paused for a second, "The traveler is the giant ball in the sky, in the dying breath it sent out us, the ghosts. To resurrect fallen warriors and people worthy enough to wield the light, you're an Exo, that's the most I can tell you, I've heard of some of the things you've done, inspiring. It is." Lynx looked up, "What did I do?" the ghost shook her shell, "Oh dear.." Lynx looked to the ground and shook his head, "I'm sorry, I just get thrust onto this with no idea of what to do. Am I not supposed to ask questions?" Luna looked around, "No... But it's very hard to explain and my words get jumbled sometimes while speaking" her voice was quite soothing and calm, despite her frantic tone. Lynx chuckled, and spoke, "Huh. I guess you and I are not so different then." his voice was loud and raspy, but had an atmosphere of relaxation about it, he then continued walking down the hallway, her ghost stopped, staring at him, Shocked at his enthusiasm, he continued down until he realized his ghost was no longer beside him, he turned around and yelled, "You coming?" the ghost shook, "Yeah. Sorry" she quickly caught up to him.

When they exited the building they looked around at the grassy plains that stretched far across the land, with buildings that once was something greater destroyed. "This is the cosmodrome guardian, Old Russia at it's finest" she mocked, he was shocked at how decayed everything was, he didn't remember leaving the world like this. "Trust me. I've spent a long time searching for you. Cosmodrome was not my first, if only I had searched here first" she cursed herself, Lynx looked over wanting to say something but fell silent. "We should get going then" he pointed out, "Yes. Let's" she agreed, and they started their journey together, as a guardian and ghost.

They arrived at an abandoned garage, she looked around and scanned every last bit of detail, she didn't find anything on a ship, Lynx searched under cabinets and such, not sure of what he'd find, but just so he can collect it as old relics of a time long forgotten.

As they explored Old Russia, Luna filled Lynx in about the fallen, hive, and everything else that's been going on since he died. Lynx listened and took notes in his head of any weaknesses they may possess, and their nature. After weeks of traveling, the pair finally came across an old jump ship, Lynx looked at it with a puzzled look as he ran his hand across it. Watching the dust fly off, he turned to Luna, "Can it bring us to the tower?" Luna scanned the ship for diagnostics, she continued until she had a full diagnostic, "It should yes. But it's not going to break orbit" her shell lit up as she turned it on, it lifted, blowing a strong wind towards Lynx, so strong that he had to shield his eyes. "I'm bringing you in!" she said as she teleported Lynx in. He looked dazed, as he patted himself down to make sure everything is still alright, "Sorry, I just wanted to get you in. You know how to fly?" Lynx shook his head, "No. I don't." Luna turned towards him, "I'm sure you'll do fine! Just push the steering wheel forward, I'll deal with the engines and such" she winked, Lynx still felt uneasy but he might as well try, he pushed it forward sending them high into the air, as they traveled across Old Russia, trying to spot a large tower, "I'll plot a course, just follow the dots on your screen" Lynx looked back at his ghost, confused. Until moments later the screen showed dots plotting a course, he breathed in and followed the dots, focusing on just them and leaving Luna to do the rest. She turned the comms on, "This is Luna, I have brought a guardian with me" she looked out the window and whispered, "You're a natural!" she continued staring out until a voice responded, "Roger Luna, standby for clearance-" the mic was cut off and sounds of crackling could be heard as if someone was throwing the mic down the stairs, but that was not the case as someone picked up, "Luna! Hows my favorite ghost doing?" Luna recognized the voice almost immediately and responded, "I'm doing great Desmond, found my new guardian!" Lynx looked over to her, "You know this guy?" he asked, whispering. She turned to him and bounced her shell around "Of course I know him, we know each other pretty well." Lynx gave a confused stare at Luna, then turned at the screen, Desmond told Luna to go to hanger 2b, as he could meet them there. They both obliged and docked the ship there and exited when Lynx exited the ship he looked around and whistled, "Nice looking ships..." he pointed out.

After some time of waiting by the dock a figure walked up, he wore white armor and a cloak, "Hey guys..." he took his hood off to reveal himself as an Exo as well. "Everybody's been waiting, we should hurry" he turned around as Lynx and Luna followed closely behind, Lynx turned to the ghost, "Everybody?" he whispered, she turned and faced the warlock. "Yeah, I met a few people while searching for you." Lynx scoffed, and looked around, amazed at the many levels and floors of the building, he enjoyed seeing the different kinds of guardians and the way their armor was customized, one was a hunter who wore an all-pink shader, the other was a titan who looked just like old toy figurines Lynx saw while searching the cosmodrome.

When they arrived, they opened the door to a barrage of people, Lynx was stunned when he opened the door that he just stared at everybody, mouth gaping and eyes wide. His ghost chuckled, "Hey everyone, this is my guardian Lynx!" they all cheered, and some came up to pat Lynx on the back, a man quieted everyone, he gave Lynx a drink, "A toast?" everyone got up to toast, Lynx hesitated for a minute but then joined in the toast. "Come, sit down." another guardian offered, in which Lynx accepted and took a seat on a chair.

He set the drink on the table and looked around, observing the decorations of the room, it looked like someone was throwing a birthday party. As the room was covered in streamers, the room was a square-shaped room, with a window on each wall, and one covering the roof. Lynx admired the craftmanship, he stood up and went to the window, being able to see everything from up here was mesmerizing. Although he was scared of heights so that didn't make seeing how high up he was any less terrifying.

He continues looking out until he saw his ghost appear before him, "What's up you ok?" She asked him, Lynx looked at her confused, "What? I thought you were reconnecting with everyone?" she looked out the window, "I have been. But you've been staring out this window for a solid 5 minutes" she turned to him, "Get to know them. They're great people." Lynx contemplated it for a few seconds, then turned towards everyone. He still felt anxious but thought it'd be better to connect with some folks.

He returned to his ship a few hours later, his hand pressed on the cold, metallic handles, he looked around the ship. It appeared to have an updated look, dawning light blue across the whole ship, with a line split down the middle colored white. Lynx climbed into the cockpit and rested his hands on the wheel. his hands gripped the rubber handle. twisting, and turning in his hands. He engaged the thrusters and lifted off into the night sky.
