At the Burrow, Molly was supervising the twins as they learned to print their names. "Very good, Fred," she said. "No, George, 'G' faces the other way."

"Molly!" Arthur called from the sitting room. "Pandora Lovegood's in the fireplace and she wants to talk to you!"

"I'll be right there!" Molly called as she left the kitchen. "Boys, keep practicing."

"Hello, Molly," Pandora said once the Weasley matriarch had reached the fireplace. "I've been thinking. My Luna had a lot of fun with Ginny last week, so what would you say to another play date this afternoon? This time Luna could stay at the Burrow and even have a sleepover."

Molly looked doubtful. "Are you sure she'll be able to handle so many people in one household? Even with two of my sons at Hogwarts this house will be plenty crowded and noisy, especially considering what the twins get up to."

"I'm sure she can handle it," Pandora told her. "So what do you say?"

"All right then," replied Molly.

At the Rook several minutes later, Pandora was having trouble getting Luna dressed because the three-year-old was squirming around and squealing in excitement.

"Luna, stay still!" she said over her daughter's squeals. "You want to look good for your play date at the Burrow, don't you?"

Xenophilius peeked into the room. "Need any help?" he asked.

"Oh no thank you, we're doing fine," his wife answered. It took a few more minutes, but at last she was able to dress Luna, and before long Luna's bag was packed with everything she'd need.

"Come on, Mummy, let's go!" Luna said excitedly as she grabbed Pandora's hand and attempted to pull her to the fireplace.

"Children," Molly said as the family was gathering at the kitchen table. "I have an announcement. Luna Lovegood is going to be paying us a visit today and she will be staying the night."

"Yay!" Ginny cheered.

"EEEEEEEWWWWWWW!" Fred, George, and Ron cried in unison. Percy merely scowled.

"One girl is bad enough, but two? No thank you!" exclaimed Fred.

"We'll all be covered in girl germs by tomorrow!" groaned George.

"BOYS!" yelled Molly. "Now, I want all of you to be nice to Luna while she's here. And I mean all of you. Do I make myself clear?" she added sharply, narrowing her eyes at the twins. They nodded while still looking unhappy.

"Mother," Percy piped up, "you do realize this is the Lovegood girl we're talking about here, don't you? And you must be aware of the kind of reputation they have."

"Percy, I'm aware that the Lovegoods are a bit eccentric," his mother said, "but I can assure you Luna is perfectly harmless."

About 15 minutes later Pandora and Luna emerged from the fireplace, and while Pandora was giving Molly instructions on how to take care of Luna, the little blonde walked up to Ginny. "Hello, Ginny," she said.

"Hi Wuna!" the redhead replied. Pandora then walked over to her daughter, kissed her on the forehead, and said, "Have a good time, sweetheart, and be good. I'll come back for you in the morning. I love you."

"I love you too, Mummy," replied Luna as she hugged her mother.

An hour later Ginny and Luna were playing with a couple of Ginny's Holyhead Harpies figurines, watching them race each other on the floor, when Luna looked up and stared at Percy, who was sitting on the sofa reading. She got to her feet and toddled right up to him. "What are you reading?" she asked curiously.

"It's none of your business," snapped the eight-year-old boy, "and anyway, this is big-kid stuff. It's not for babies."

"I'm not a baby!" protested Luna; she then managed to get a closer look at the title and, very slowly, read, "'Great...Wiz-wizarding...Events...of the...Tw-twen...tieth...Century.' See? I can read!" Percy snatched it away from her before she could take a look inside.

"Keep your grubby hands off my book!" he snapped. Luna frowned, then returned to her figurine-racing game with Ginny, though as she was playing she thought of a way to have a little fun with Percy.

As Percy went up to his bedroom to read in peace, he heard little footsteps behind him; he turned around to see Luna standing there. "Why are you following me?" he asked.

"Why are you following me?" Luna mimicked.

"Stop it!" the older boy shouted.

"Stop it!" copied Luna.

At that moment Fred and George peeked out of their bedroom to see what was happening.

"Go play with Ginny, all right?" said Percy.

"Go play with Ginny, all right?" parroted Luna. The twins had their fists pressed onto their mouths to stop themselves from laughing out loud.

The eight-year-old face palmed, saying "Will you stop copying me?!"

"Will you stop copying me?!" mimicked Luna, also face palming.

Fred and George could hold it in no longer; they burst out laughing, clutching their sides.

"Shut up, you two!"

"Shut up, you two!" The six-year-old boys only laughed harder.

"AAAAAARRRGH!" Percy growled, stomping back down the stairs.

"AAAAAARRRGH!" repeated Luna as she followed him. At last Percy could take no more of this. "Mother!" he called.

"Mother!" the little girl copied, giggling; Molly then came and took Luna by the hand. "Come along, dear," she said, leading her back to the sitting room where Ginny was.

Perfectly harmless, my bum, Percy thought angrily as he continued walking to his room.

Later that evening as the girls were playing dolls in Ginny's bedroom, Fred and George dropped by. "Hey, Luna," said Fred.

"Hello," the three-year-old replied.

"We just wanna say congrats on upsetting our prat of a brother - " started Fred.

" - because frankly, he deserves it," finished George.

"We thought you were just a stupid, weird girl - " said Fred.

" -but you're all right!" said George with a smile. Luna just blinked innocently at them.

"I was just playing a game," she said.

"So? You still riled him up good," Fred told her, grinning.

"All right, boys," Arthur said as he came into the room. "Back to your bedroom; it's nearly bedtime. Ron's already gotten ready for bed; now it's your turn."

"Aw, but Dad..." protested George.

"Now!" said Arthur sternly, leading the twins out. Molly then came to give Ginny and Luna a bath before getting them into their pajamas and tucking them into their beds. Once the girls were tucked in, Luna started vigorously shaking her bedsheets before walking over to Ginny's bed and doing the same with her bedsheets.

"What are you doing?" asked Ginny.

"Looking for Somnomites," replied Luna.

"What are those?"

"They're little bugs that like to bite people when they're sleeping. Muggles just call them bedbugs."

Ginny gasped in horror. "I don't want them to bite me!"

"It's okay; I don't see any Somnomites," Luna assured her as she climbed back into her bed. Before long both girls were fast asleep.
