Takedo here. I'm officially putting this into hiatus.
As I continued through March, I realized that I screwed up the story with inconsistencies in characters, timeline, plot, and pacing. To fix this, I believe that it's either I play the Fate VN from the ground up, which will be a hundred hours at least, or get betas with knowledge on FE3H lore inside-out. It's preferable I get both.
That said, I can just ignore those and keep writing. I don't mind what I did to Emiya, as OOC some feel he is. However, it doesn't feel right to keep writing without a beta for my story to check on pacing, grammar, and FE3H lore. I had to re-edit chapters multiple times throughout March for this.
This is why I'm writing my other story, The Devil's Messiah. One, I actually have betas to help get ideas and fact-check me before I keep writing. They also make sure I'm being consistent in grammar and events as the story progresses. Two, I know Persona 3 FES, Persona 5 Royal, and Persona 5 Strikers far more extensively than just Fate and FE3H. Three, I'm using this writing program/help tool to keep track of things. My old way was far too messy.
With these three reasons, I hope to make this a learning experience. Once summer rolls around, I may just write again without actually playing the VN. I do have Ch13's outline. I do still want to write more with Emiya basically stomping through Fodlan and make a Golden Ending. I want to fuck over TWSITD.
