EARTH 2099

In the year 2055 World War III began. The war was started by North Korea and Pakistan. Both countries fired nuclear weapons; Korea at China, and Pakistan at the US. The world governments united as one and retaliated. Using new EMP missile technology, the United Nations' military was able to knock out the missile systems of both countries. Using ground troops, both countries are invaded. The Invasion did not go as planned.

By this time Cloning Technology had been developed and up until the war, it was used for medical purposes and reproduction. The countries of North Korea and Pakistan, used it for warfare. Super humans who were faster and stronger than normal humans were produced by the thousands. The governments of the US, Japan, Russia, China, and Britain had secret military cloning tech. Their Superhuman clones were unleashed onto the battlefield as well.

WWIII lasted from 2055 to the year 2089. When it was over the countries of North Korea and Pakistan were made into Union States of the UN governed by countries who placed the highest bids for control. China gained North Korea and the US gained Pakistan. The Governments of the World were united in peace through the United Nations. Though each member country governed themselves peace prevailed and war a thing of the past.

In the year 2099 two computer programmers, twins, named Lilly and Evan Wachowski owners of W-TECH created the world's first AI supercomputer. They called it M-1, M-1 was a fully interactive artificial computer that ran the R&D department for the company. It developed non projectile weapons. Alternative energy sources, such as solar powered fusion generators, and interactive hologram projectors for private, public, and military applications.

Many governments expressed concerns about M-1 and in a Global Council Arms Hearing M-1 was turned over to the United Nations Council. Now major companies around the world could pay to have M-1 develop ideas for them. The Japanese Company Hatori-Engineering used it's pay off to get M-1 to develop Robots and Drones for domestic service. Earth Green used its money to have the super computer design and create ways to rebuild the Ozone and rain forests. They also had it take DNA samples and clone extinct animals such as the White Tiger, the Black Rhinocerus, the Condor to name a few.

An American Company named Global-Tech paid for the creation of Androids. Machines that look human, but are not. Medical Companies used M-1 to create cures for diseases, such as Aids, Cancer, and the more recent Hyspar disease. The Ford motor company paid to have M-1 develop vehicles that ran on solar power and self-driving vehicles. M-1 considered itself a mother of all artificial life and eventually suggested that humans be allowed to live the leisure life, while her children earn their daily bread. The Machine labor law was put into place. As long as a human had a degree or vocational skill in that profession they were allowed to purchase a machine to do the work in that field for them.

Machines did everything from Valet, to clean up, construction, fast food and food industry service, etc. The one thing Machines were not allowed to do was use weapons. So they were not allowed to police humans, work in government, offer advice or council people. It was slow to catch on, but eventually more and more humans bought into the Machine Labor law.

NASA CHIEF ENGINEER DAVID KEPNER

"Why not?" He asked the Head of NASA Vergil Becker. "Think of it… a city on the moon…It could be the start of colonizing other worlds like Mars…"

"The President cut the budget…Look if you can raise the money…Then yeah I will approve the project." Becker replies.

Later that week David meets with Ivan Wachowski current owner and CEO of W-TECH. It is the year 2107, the seventh of March. They meet in a prominent restaurant named Trinity. "Thank you for meeting with me Mr. Wachowski."

"Yes I agreed for two reasons. I myself have always been fascinated by space travel and…I am willing to fund your space program…If you would contract with my company for the rights to build the city on the moon. Secondly I require a favor…"

"What favor?" He smiles. Later the two men are taken to the Brain. A large building where the AI, M-1 had been relocated.

"My God…"

"You have never been here before?" Kepner asks.

"After the UN seized M-1 my family went into seclusion. My Aunt Lily killed herself over it. M-1 was my father and Aunt's brain child. Their legacy and it was stolen."

"You sound bitter sir. No disrespect."

"I am…and none taken." They pass the security scans and are taken to the Chief Operator.

"Well I'll be damned…Ivan Wachowski…Now this is a treat."

"Lawrence Weaving…So this is where you have been hiding."

"Not hiding…"

"You two know each other?" Kepner asks.

"Lawrence here use to work for us."

"I learned a lot from the W-Tech family…I thought…Hey why not go for chief operator of the Brain."

"How is M-1."

"She…"

He raises an eyebrow, "She is it?"

"Yeah…She identifies herself as female."

"She has grown beyond her programming."

He nods, "By leaps and bounds." Just then an Android walks up, "This Amber-17…An Android. Amber this is Professor David Kepner…Chief Engineer at NASA and this is Ivan Wachowski."

"M-1 sent me sir…Please Mr. Wachowski can you tell me the meaning of love."

"What is this? You let Androids Question me?"

"Amber – 17…What are you doing?"

"What M-1 asked me to do sir."

Ivan points his hand at Amber and it turns into a weapon, but before he can shoot. Ivan is hit with an EMP blast from a human sniper. Later David Kepner is bought to an interrogation room. "I swear on my life. I did know he was an Android. I mean he looked human and acted human."

AGENT ROGER SMITH OF THE FBI

"Cut him loose. He's telling the truth."

They leave the two-way observation room and walk up the hall to the service and repair room, where they are holding the Android of Ivan Wachowski. "This is the most sophisticated Android I have ever seen." A tech guy says, "On board weapons, a nano-nite delivery system…It even has a backup program called the Merovingian…"

"That is fascinating…What was it programmed to do?"

"It was programmed to infiltrate…Upload the Merovingian Program…The Merovingian was to overwrite M-1 and give the Wachoskis unlimited access…"

"Erase this thing and scrap the machine."

"May I have it…" M-1 says over the COM system.

"Why do you want it M-1?" Lawrence asks

"Research purposes…It is unique…It was created by the people who created me…I wish to understand what would drive them to destroy their creation."

"How would you contain it?" Agent Smith asks. "It was created to destroy you or rewrite you."

"I have empty servers not connected to my mainframe…The programs can be stored there. While I study them…"

"And after you finish studying them?"

"I will try to repurpose their code…I consider this Merovingian Program and the Program that runs the Android to be my brothers…"

"That is cute…Accept you are a machine…Code and stuff."

"Agent Smith! You don't have to be insulting."

"This goes with me all of it."
