Turning Over a New Twinleaf and starting a new Jubilife!
[AN: If you want to make this story better you should try playing the appropriate music whenever it's on scene! Trust me, it makes the story feel really good when you read and also listen to the music, That's all!]
(Juan's POV)
I woke up, had a pretty pleasant dream. Not really sure what it was to be honest. A lot of things were happening in it. But the sounds were nice I guess... (It was the platinum intro)
Anywho I'm Juan, I'm sixteen, unemployed, with nothing to do at all. Mother just makes me work around the house seeing as only myself, a few kids and one you could say is my friend Barry live here on Twinleaf Town.
Music Playing: Twinleaf Town.
I got out from bed and my friend Barry came in, bursting out nonsense really fast I didn't really care much about, then he said he was gonna fine me and ran away.
I went downstairs to follow to see my mother laying on cushions.
"Juan! Barry already left, I don't know what it was about but he was in a hurry." She sat down watching TV.
I went to walk out and mother talked to me before.
"Oh Juan, don't go into the tall grass, wild pokemon might attack you. It would be okay if you had your own pokemon but you don't... Sooo take care sweetie!" She smiled.
I nodded and left, I looked around, it was daytime and there was a bit of snow here around Twinleaf town. I never really left Twinleaf town, or knew what was outside it.
Not like I cared, I was happy staying here. Basically by myself. I barely talked to my mother. Maybe I should work on that...
I went to house of Barry and he thud me.
He began yelling about lots of stuff. Something about a professor and forgetting something, then he went back home and I talked his mom about his son for a bit.
I went to his room, he said to race him to Route 201 or he would fine me if I was late or something. So I tried going there but he was way faster.
He taunted me for being slow which I rolled my eyes at. Then he went on saying he would go into the tall grass and I looked a bit nervous. He basically said if we're fast we should be fine.
He must think if he naruto runs he would be so fast the Pokemon won't be able to hit him or something. Why am I friends with him again?...
He was about to run and go in when suddenly a old man called us, he had a very cute looking assistant I assumed. He looked really mad we were gonna go into the tall grass.
He asked us if we loved pokemon to which we both agreed. Then he asked again and we agreed then the old man said we were reckless for trying to go into the tall grass. Which we both frowned at.
He basically told us we could have a Pokemon, Barry looked cocky and said he would let me pick first cause he was basically a grown up.
True, in Sinnoh You have to be at least 13 to start your journey, Barry and I were both 16.
I looked at my choices, a Chimchar, a Turtwig and a Piplup. I choose Piplup, cause I liked water.
I took Piplups pokeball and Barry instantly choosed a Pokemon quickly. The professor and girl left.
Barry asked me to battle, his theme (Barry's Theme) playing. I never battled before, I just watched lots of people do it on TV so I agreed.
He said he Challenged me to a battle and for some reason I began hearing music as Barry wildly shook his arms and then smiled at me in a competitive but friendly look. He threw his pokeball and Turtwig came out.
I sended out my Piplup and it chirped. I told it to do Pound. Barrys Turtwig used withdraw. I gave a amused look. I told Piplup to use Pound again. They used Withdraw.
This went on for a long time. Eventually Turtwig had a lot of defense but around half health probably seeing how tired it looked.
Then Barry told it to use Tackle. Which hurted my Piplup a lot. It looked like it could take another one, I just kept telling it to use Pound but Turtwig now had sky high defense and it did nothing.
Barry told his Turtwig to use Tackle again and it seemed it was a critical hit cause my Piplup was knocked out in my first battle ever.
I had a shocked look on my face as Barry and his Turtwig cheered. They said I tried my best and I did a good job which I just rolled my eyes at.
I went home, mother healed Piplup and we both slept; the next day she gave me running shoes to go to Sandgem Town. Why couldn't I run if I had no running shoes... I never checked before I guess...
Oh well, I let Piplup out it's pokeball and apologized for making it faint in our first battle, it just shrugged, I went and on route 201 with my Piplup following behind.
I saw Barry. He went on something about catching a legendary pokemon and took me to see a lake. We went inside a saw some old looking man.
He just went on about the flowing of time and expanding space. That guy clearly needed some space from kids, which he did seeing as when he began leaving he forcefully pushed both Barry and I away.
Barry just said we should focus on catching the Legendary pokemon. We heard a cry and looked around but then we realized we had no balls so we just left. God we're fucking dumbasses. Why did I agree to this, sometimes I can be so dumb.
Barry ran towards Sandgem Town really fast, he must've had running shoes on top of running shoes to run that fast!
Oh well I went on the grass and trained a bit until my Piplup was level 6. Training with it made me bond a bit with them.
I saw the girl and she told me go into the lab with her, then suddenly Barry gave me a hard Thud and talked really fast as he left just as fast. That little bastard, He keeps bumping me.
Professor Rowan said my Pokemon looked happy, he asked me if I wanted to give her a nickname.
"Female?" I spoke for the first time that day.
"Yes, she's female, is that a problem?" He asked.
"Not at all, well I'll name her Princess." I said.
Princess looked at me happy.
Now he asked me to record data in a pokedex, I nodded and said yes. He gave me a pokedex, the girl said her name was Dawn and then we left the lab.
The Professor gave me TM 27. I felt like it was nostalgic to it even tho I never seen it in my life. Oh well.
Dawn showed me the buildings with red roofs were Pokemon Centers and blue roofs were Poke Marts. I shrugged. I didn't like to talk much. Princess seemed to be like me. She didn't talk to me a lot, she just, stared.
Dawn said I should say goodbye to my mother or something so I went there and fighted a few wild pokemon along the way.
I said goodbye to my mother and then Barry's mom came and she said asked if I could take a parcel to his son. I frowned and nodded.
After training Princess we went and explored around Sandgem town a bit before leaving. We found a beach side and went on the beach we both looked at the ocean.
It was quiet, only sound was of the sea waves against the shore.
"Princess, I hope I can make you strong. I don't talk much, but; I already care about you a lot." I said. I always found talking really uncomfortable to me.
Princess looked at me and just smiled.
I looked around and found an antidote on the floor, I placed it on my bag just in case Princess got hurt.
I found Dawn and she teached me how to catch Pokemon. Then she gave me pokeballs and left.
I found a trainer who challenged me into a battle, Princess just used Pound and defeated their Starly. Then learned she Bubble.
I always told Princess to use Bubble in battle. Until a trainer send out a Burmy, I wasn't that fucking stupid to use a water type attack on a grass type so I told her to use pound.
We were just about to reach somewhere else, Princess found a Potion on the floor nearby and gave it to me, I thanked her and placed it on the bag.
We reached some place. For living a long time in Sinnoh I didn't know anything other than Twinleaf Town basically.

Dawn said I should catch more pokemon which I nodded at the idea. It was beginning to be nighttime time. We walked for a while. Then we saw some guy hide between lampposts. He said his code-name was Looker and he talked about suspicious activity and thieves and all that.
Then he just gave me a Vs Recorder and left. Dawn said Barry was in the trainer school as she then went into the Poke Mart. I healed Princess in the Pokemon Center nearby and battled two kids on the school, Princess absolutely destroyed them.
I saw Barry and gave him the parcel, it was a Town Map, well two. He gave me one of them. I looked at it and saw I was somewhere called Jubilife City. This map could be useful.
He then left, I read all the things in the board about status elements and the teacher looked impressed and gave me a X Attack.
Some old guy said there was a campaign to earn a Poketch. I found all the three clown people and answered correctly.
I got a Poketch. I liked it. I went west to route 218 and found nothing other than a X Accuracy on the floor. Who just leaves drugs around? I still took it.
I went to Route 203 and saw some guy with a pink jacket. He told me to battle him, like all trainers have told me before. I rolled my eyes and sended my level 9 Princess.
I was hearing some sort of electronic with metal music.
He looked at it, shrugged and threw a regular Pokeball sending out a Chimchar. The Chimchar gave a pretty cute roar.
A starter? That's rare.
The Chimchar kept using scratch while she did bubble. Chimchar fainted thanks to Princess having the type advantage.
Instantly he returned Chimchar and took out a Great Ball, when it opened it seemed that appeared to be his last pokemon who roared, it was small and yellow. I didn't know what it was so I used my Pokedex and scanned it.
It was a Elekid.
This however made me waste a turn as it used Thundershock. Princess was at 1 HP, I used a potion on her and then the Elekid used a Thundershock, that appeared to be a critical hit.
I looked shocked but Princess didn't seem to want to give up. I didn't know what to say but it wouldn't had mattered. The trainer told his Elekid to finish it with a Quick Attack.
Princess fainted.
It looked like the Elekid was grinning.
"Thought you'd be stronger. But I guess you're just as weak as everyone else." He looked bored and recalled the Elekid to his Great Ball as he began walking off.
I looked mad and took Princess to be healed at the center. I trained on route 204 and saw Barry. I looked at him and Challenged him to a battle. He send out Starly. I used Princess and she knocked it out with one Bubble. She learned Water Sport.
I used it on his Turtwig afterwards since I didn't know what it did, I found out it was basically useless.
The Turtwig kept using tackle and I told Princess to use Growl. Eventually his attacks started hurting Princess less cause of the growls so I told her to do that more. Eventually I told her to use lots of Pounds and she defeated Turtwig.
Next he sended out a Shinx, he said he just finished watching it a minute ago. Princess looked at it and used Bubble at it. The Shinx used tackle and Princes used Bubble again, The Shinx used tackle and I told her to use Pound. The Shinx Fainted.
We both cheered.
Barry clapped and told me good job as he ran away without paying. That little fine giving monster.
I buyed more potions, and 10 pokeballs. The Poke Mart person gave me a premier ball. I smiled at this.
We trained on Route 203.
We trained so much Princess learned peck, we erased that useless Water Sport. We defeated all the trainers and found all the items. Then we found a Pokemon we didn't see before, using my pokedex we saw it was a Kricketot.
I liked the xylophone sound it did when I saw it. I told Princess to use pound on it which she did. The Kricketot just stood there and looked confused then when it was hit, it looked shocked. I threw a pokeball at it and caught it.
(Princess POV)
I helped master catch a Kricketot. Not questioning why in the world would he catch that and not something stronger but hey, master is always right.
He let the scared looking Kricketot out.
"Hello, we're your new team." I told her.
"T-team?" She asked confused.
"Yea we go around beating other people's pets for money." I shrugged.
"That sounds awful!" She looked scared.
"Maybe, but In the end we only get richer and stronger, I am so strong now I am about to evolve, I can feel it." I smiled and Kricketot looked at me as she said. "I want to evolve."
"Well then stay with us!" I looked at her happy.
"Hey Princess is it a boy or a girl?" Asked my Master. I pointed at myself with my flipper.
"Oh, female again huh? Hmmm well how about we name you... Symphony!" Master smiled.
"Looks like master gave you a name." I nod.
"So my name is Symphony now? I like it!" She looked happy.
We went back to Jubilife city a bit. Someone gave us a quick claw and Master made Symphony hold it.
Somehow.
We trained on the grass a bit with Symphony now and she got a bit stronger. I knew why my master was training both of us so hard. He wanted to defeat that trainer with the Chimchar and a Elekid that defeated us so easily last time.
I also wanted to defeat them. I hated losing. It always stung my pride. But I knew master was trying his best.
Symphony looked a tiny bit stronger, not anywhere near as strong as me but, it's a start.
He said we would sleep on the Jubilife City pokemon center and head to Oreburgh tomorrow morning. It was too late.
I nodded and Symphony understood as well. He asked us if we wanted to sleep in our pokeballs or on his bed. I instantly said his bed and Symphony agreed. We all three slept on the warm soft bed.
Getting ourselves ready for more adventures and probably problems in the future. I would be there for master to help him with anything he needed, because to me he was more than a master.
He was my friend.
