Welcome everyone and I hope your all staying safe and healthy in these tough times and I am so sorry for the wait but Verizon has been on the frets lately so I am having to have a friends help for this next one, thank you brother
But without delay here we go
Chapter 4 Mounting trouble
(Elsewhere in Station square)
Another visitor came to Station Square, Ka-Zar the gorilla
"Whew…what a LONG trip, good thing it was express…now, where has that little frog gone to" Ka-Zar muttered to himself, he couldn't see far due to so many people being in the way, so he had to get a higher point of view and he spotted just the thing to help
"Hmm, that'll work" Ka-Zar said before he ran on all fours to a nearby flagpole and started climbing it, some people were stunned to see this huge gorilla climbing a flagpole out of nowhere
"Mommy, mommy, look, monkey man" A random girl told her mom, pointing to Ka-Zar
"Who the hell does this guy think he is King Kong" A random man muttered to himself as Ka-Zar looked around from the top of the pole he was hanging from
"FROGGY…FROGGY" Ka-Zar called only to see many people and no Froggy
"This is NOT going to be easy" Ka-Zar said before he slid down the pole and started looking around despite the looks he got from the people he didn't give it much thought though and eventually he managed to get a quick glance at his frog friend
"FROGGY, there you are" Ka-Zar said as he tried to catch the frog, but it bounced away from the gorilla and slipped under a car that was on top of a manhole cover
"Hey where you going Froggy" Ka-Zar asked before he picked up the car with his sheer strength, the person inside the car then looked out in shock that his car was off the ground
"HEY, WHAT'S GOING ON HERE, PUT ME DOWN" The man demanded
"Oh, sorry" Ka-Zar apologized before seating him down nice and easy before tearing off the manhole cover and he jumped down the hole in the ground which lead to the sewer system
"MMMM, WOW…this place smells worse than a dung spot" Ka-Zar grunted before he pushed forward through the sewers looking for his froggy friend until he eventually found the exit which was connected to the famous "Twinkle park"
"Welcome to Twinkle park" A woman's voice spoke over the loudspeaker
"Twinkle park…wait a minute" Ka-Zar muttered before he remembered seeing an advertisement board for "Twinkle park" and it showed many of the attractions which included a water show on a large pond which happened to be one of Froggy's favorite hangout spots
"A pond, that's GOTTA be where Froggy is" Ka-Zar said before he went further into the park where he saw a large pond filled with fish and in it was FROGGY
"FROGGY" Ka-Zar yelled before jumping in and swimming to catch Froggy, while the little guy was hard to catch, Ka-Zar's giant hands and long reach managed to catch him
"Whew…BRRRRRRRRRR" Ka-Zar shuddered as he shook his fur dry after the dip in the pond
"COLD, okay Froggy, why on earth did you, HUH" Ka-Zar shuddered again as he realized that Froggy slipped away from him again and he was bouncing away from him
"OH, COME ON" Ka-Zar shouted before chasing after him…AGAIN, this time Froggy hopped towards a train that was heading towards a place called "Mystic ruins"
(Back with Dash, Sonic and Tails)
Dash with the help of his Chaos sword pointing the way through the dangerous terrains of Windy Valley and managed to find a Chaos emerald
"That sword really tracked down the Chaos emerald" Sonic asked Dash as they headed for Station Square
"Yeah" Dash answered
"Do you mind if I ask where you go it" Tails asked
"That's complicated to" Dash answered, suddenly the sword started to glow again
"HOLD IT" Dash said before they stopped, and Dash pointed the sword in multiple directions before it started glowing leading into the city
"This way" Dash told them as he led them into the city, continuing to follow the glow of the sword they soon found themselves Casinoplis
"What the" Dash muttered
"OH COOL, Casinoplis, my kind of place for fun" Sonic said
"We aren't here to have fun, remember" Tails asked
"Oh, come on buddy lighten up anyway is that sword of yours sure that a Chaos emerald is in this place" Sonic asked Dash
"According to how the sword is glowing" Dash answered, suddenly the sword stopped glowing
"What the…come one, COME ON" Dash growled a bit, trying to shake the sword so it'll start glowing again
"Oh, great is the thing busted" Sonic asked
"I don't think it's gonna be any help here guys" Dash said
"Sir, my sensors are picking a familiar signal, the same that caused the emerald you were using to power your suit to malfunction" Jarvis told Tails
"The same signal…that's odd" Tails muttered
"Odd or not, we better get looking and FAST" Dash said
"Yeah and we better double time it, this place is HUGE and no telling where the emerald could be without that sword of yours to guide us" Sonic told Dash as they started looking, through the are they went over twists, turns and corners looking everywhere, things were hectic just trying to stay together but eventually the three found the Chaos emerald
"That makes two" Dash told Sonic and Tails
"Great, let's get out of this mad house" Tails said
"You mean fun house, I could play here for days" Sonic said, Dash and Tails then facepalmed themselves
*Was my dad REALLY like this when he was my age* Dash asked in his head as the three made a break for the exit only when they got outside they were blindsided by a familiar floating vehicle belonging to Eggman and it knocked the emerald out of Dash's hand
"NO, THE EMERALD" Dash yelled
"GRAB IT" Sonic yelled
"Oh no you DON'T" Eggman yelled as his machine released a cloud of red vapors only to temporarily blind the three
"GAH, PEPPER GAS" Tails yelled as Eggman snatched the Chaos emerald
"Thank you, gentlemen for doing the hard work FOR me, it's been a pleasure, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA" Eggman laughed as he escaped into the sky
"EGGMAN" Dash yelled through tear-filled eyes, Tails then went up to Dash
"Hold still, hold still" Tails told Dash as he sprayed Dash's eyes with a spray that neutralized the pepper spray then he sprayed Sonic
"AH, AAAAAH, thanks buddy" Sonic thanked Tails
"I can't believe we lost it that means he's got two emeralds to our one" Dash said
"Things seem bleak now, but we still got a chance, we just need to get the other emeralds before he does is all" Tails said
"Yeah so put that sword of yours to work" Sonic told Dash
"Jarvis has the signal you were picking up before fade" Tails asked Jarvis
"Yes sir, Dash can now use his sword to track the other emeralds" Jarvis answered, Dash then got to work with his sword
"Okay, let's try this again" Dash said before he led the other's
(Back with Knuckles)
Knuckles continued to look for shard before he soon came across a man in red and black, Eggman and saw he carried something shinny in his right hand
*A shard piece* Knuckles said in his head
"HEY, YOU" Knuckles called, making Eggman stop and turn to face the echidna
"Huh" Eggman muttered
"One chance…give me that emerald shard" Knuckles told him
"Young man, I don't know what all the fuss is about, but this isn't an "emerald shard" see" Eggman asked as he showed the Chaos emerald that he took from Dash, Sonic and Tails
"Huh…you're right" Knuckles said
"Quite alright young man…I can just use you as a guinea pig" Eggman said
"Wait, what" Knuckles asked
"CHAOS" Eggman called as from a pool of water the monster, Chaos appeared
"What in the…oh, I remember you, the one who shattered the Master emerald" Knuckles said before Eggman tossed the emerald to Chaos who absorbed it and grew stronger, this time bigger with a mechanical arm in his left arm this time, Knuckles then drew his Dragon slayer broad sword
"Oh…I've been WAITING to get a swing or two at you for what you did to my island you walking puddle" Knuckles said ad he slammed his sword on the ground cracking the point of impact, the two then did battle with each other as Chaos was stronger than last time when he only gobbled up one emerald, Knuckles was a little shocked at the strength of this creature and his ability to shift his body at will but the warrior echidna was still more well-trained and equipped for the fight and managed to defeat this stronger and bigger Chaos
"Ha, no spine" Knuckles said as he put Dragon slayer back on his back
"BAH, so what if you won this one there are still more emeralds to collect and you have yet to see the TRUE power of Chaos
"Your intimidation doesn't faze me" Knuckles said
"But I know something that MIGHT…someone else is after the Master emerald shards" Eggman said
"WHAT…who, give me a name" Knuckles said
"Have you heard of a pair called the Flash and Iron man" Eggman asked
"Who are they and what do they want with the Master emerald shards" Knuckles asked
"A hedgehog in blue and a two-tailed fox in an armored suit that aim to use the power of the Master emerald for their own purposes" Eggman said before he pressed a button on his right, forearm device and a worm hole-like thing opened up behind him
"Ta-ta, echidna" Eggman said before he and Chaos stepped through the portal before it disappeared
"HEY, WAIT…GRRR, whoever those two are I better find them" Knuckles said before he took off to where he was feeling a strong pull towards a location called "Red mountain"
(Back with Dash, Sonic and Tails)
The three were being led by the Chaos sword towards a location called "Icecap" which was normally peaceful and a place where you could either seat back and enjoy the snowfall or you could enjoy snowboarding but the ride the two hedgehogs and two-tailed fox were on wasn't that relaxing
"WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOA" Dash and Sonic yelled as they were on snowboard and trying to outrace a GIGANTIC snowball that was accidentally caused by them
"HOW DID WE GET INTO THIS MESS" Dash yelled before he ducked a low bridge of ice
"COME ON DASH, WHERE'S YOUR SENSE OF FUN" Sonic yelled before he took the high road leaving Dash on the low road
"Yeah, I knew it…my dad was just as much as a fun-lover in this dimension as he was in mind" Dash said before he spotted a ramp and soon slid up it before he caught big time air and soon found himself over Tails
"INCOMING" Dash yelled before Tails moved out of the way
"HEY, WATCH IT" Tails replied
"SORRY TAILS, HOLD ONTO THAT EMERALD" Dash shouted before Sonic showed back up
"What's the matter slow pokes, can't keep up" Sonic asked them
"Need I remind you that there is a GIANT SNOWBALL TRYING TO CRUSH US" Tails shouted, Dash then spotted a cave entrance
"THAT CAVE, MAKE A BREAK FOR IT" Dash yelled before the three made a dash for the cave and made it just in time
"WHEW, that was TIGHT" Sonic yelled before the three of them crashed into a big pile of snow, one by one their heads popped out
"BRRRRR, cold" Sonic said
"Tails you still got the emerald" Dash asked, Tails then pulled it out
"Affirmative" Tails answered before they got out of the snow and brushed themselves off
"Man, how did we end up running away from a giant snowball" Dash asked
"Uh, I accidentally sneezed, and the echoes triggered it…sorry" Tails apologized
"Doesn't matter we got another emerald and THIS time we got to keep it out of Egg-heads hands" Sonic said meanwhile Dash was trying to detect more Chaos emeralds with his sword but got nothing
"Is it broken again" Sonic asked Dash
"I don't think so" Dash answered
"Jarvis, is the same interference from earlier being broadcasted" Tails asked Jarvis
"Negative sir" Jarvis answered
"Then what's wrong with it" Sonic asked
"I don't know" Dash answered
"Well, we better get moving, who know when Eggman will find us again and take our emerald like he did the last time" Tails said
"I guess we gotta find the rest of them until that sword of yours decides which side it's on" Sonic said before the three continued onward not knowing they would soon run into trouble in the form of a red echidna
