Eterna Battles!

(Juan's POV)

We made it out of Eterna Forest... and out of The Old Chateau. My pokemon and I looked pale.

We ran towards the Pokemon center and I told the nurse to heal my pokemon. "Oh my what happened to her throat? We need to use some really strong medicine on her, think you can pay?" The nurse asked.

"...money is the least of my problems right now..." I still looked nervous.

"What's wrong?" The nurse asked asked the nurse as she gave Rose the powerful medicine that said Secret Potion.

All my other pokemon were healed and we're hugging me.

I was super shaky and still didn't fully comprehend what happened in the chateau of eterna forest so I decided to ask Nurse Joy. I mean what better person to give us joy in such a traumatic moment than Nurse JOY, it's perfect.

"Um... What do you know about the Old Chateau over in Eterna Forest?" I asked.

"Um not much to be honest, I guess it was once wealthy place where lots of rich people lived, one day there was a fire and everyone inside died. Nobody has ever been inside that abandoned Chateau for more than 200 years, why do you look so scared? You look like you've seen a ghost! And we all know those aren't real." The Nurse giggled as she gave me Rose back.

We just stared at her, I payed her for the Secret Potion she gave Rose and asked if we could sleep here. She nodded. We prayed, A Lot! Again to sleep here and slept.

We all had nightmares.

The next day we all woke up scared and trained in the grass of Route 211 after we recovered a bit better of what happened last night we realized battles distracted our thoughts from all bad memories we had so we went back to the Gym, now Jay was really strong. Second strongest in the team.

The Gym leader Gardenia said she was tired, she just finished having two tough battles against this one speedy kid named Barry and another really strong trainer with a pink jacket. She said she would wait for us inside.

I growled knowing who that other trainer was, and went inside the gym.

Gardenias gym trainers were all destroyed by Jay, Jay seemed really confident when she reached Gardenia, the gym leader herself. Her music played as she sended out a Turtwig.

We failed, many times.

But now this is how we won.

The Turtwig used barrier, and Jay's frustration did less and less. I told her to return but she didn't obey, she just kept attacking and attacking until eventually the Turtwig took Jay out.

I facepalm and called of Symphony.

She nodded and went ahead, she used Leech Life like I told her to do and Turtwig went down. Then a Cherrim came, the sunshine form cause of the sunny day. I took out Rose to use Stun Spore then switched to Princess to use Peck being super effective. Cherrim fainted after the second peck.

Gardenias Ace was Roserade. It used Magical Leaf surprising me and my entire team watching from the bleachers as my strongest pokemon, Princess fainted in one hit thanks to a lucky fucking critical, it's always a critical hit! Ugh..

I said; Rose, and she came. She used Stun Spore and then cut, it did Jack shit.

"Dew? Budew?" She looked at me confused as she was suddenly slammed into a wall and had swirly eyes as she fainted.

Roserade grinned and attacked Symphony, she barely won the battle with 3 HP using leech life, the bug type attack was boosted cause of her ability Swarm.

Symphony was sweating and tired.

"Good job Symphony you did it!" I told her and this seemed to cheer her up.

After that we went and cutted the trees around some sort of building and went inside, there were a lot of Team Galactic grunts who were being annoying so I used my Pokemon to defeat them all.

Then I reached the top, I told what looked like the commander to free the stolen Pokemon and Jupiter said she would defeat us.

Her battle theme played as she sended her Zubat.

Easy, next her Skuntank.

Juan blacked out.

"Ugh, too many consecutive Night Slashes.." I looked dizzy with my Pokemon, they looked upset they lost, so we went back there again.

Only a tired Symphony and a red health Rose survived the massacre. Rose had to paralyze the Skuntank cause it was too fast.

Oh well we defeated her after our 3rd attempt and freed the Pokemon.

Cynthia returned impressed by my findings, i told her about the Old Chateau and said we might learn more about it in the Canalave City library, i liked the idea and said I would visit it, Cynthia smiled at me and then she just out of fucking nowhere gave us a egg, i thanked her as she began coolly leaving and the journey with my pokemon partners continued.
