What is up my friends, I hope your all having a great day and staying safe, Summer vacation went by so freaking FAST didn't she, anyway things could be worse, also I am so sorry for the long wait, things have been pretty busy over on my end

But without further delay so let's have some fun with this new chapter

Chapter 7 Reasons

(With Dash and Tifa)

Before Sonic told his story to Amy, Dash and Tifa were falling to the ground

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH" Tifa yelled as the two rapidly descended

*Come on Dash better think fast or die fast* Dash said in his head, he then positioned himself like an arrow with his arms to the side and legs straight to make his way over to Tifa

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING" Tifa shouted

"TRYING TO SAVE US BOTH" Dash yelled before he took hold of Tifa

"GET YOUR STINKING HANDS OFF OF ME" Tifa yelled

"YOU WANNA END UP STREET PIZZA" Dash yelled back, Tifa then looked towards a ribbon that was tied around her left arm that Dash hadn't noticed before Tifa didn't answer, but Dash got his answer before he grabbed hold of her

*I hope this works* Dash said in his head before he focused in order to tap into his Chaos shield armor before a green energy barrier first cloaked around Dash before he forced the shield to expand and coat around Tifa

"What the" Tifa muttered before she looked down and the ground was coming up fast

"GROUND" Tifa yelled

"BRACE FOR IT" Dash shouted before he shielded Tifa in a tight embrace and Tifa shut her eyes praying that she would make it out of this, th two impacted on the ground, everything went black

(Unknown amount of time later)

Tifa laid on the ground motionless but alive none the less, she was breathing slowly as Dash slowly regained his consciousness

"Oh…oh man…even with the shield that hurt" Dash muttered before he looked to see Tifa out cold, he then made his way to her and checked to see if she was alive

"Tifa…TIFA, wake up" Dash shook her before something fell out of one of her pockets, Dash picked it up and it was a picture of a Tifa with a young girl next to her who was of white skin and has light brown hair and eyes, where they were at was what looked like a hospital room, Tifa soon came around and saw Dash was holding the picture, she then snatched it away from his hand

"DON'T TOUCH THAT" Tifa told him as she soon stood up and Dash got to his feet as well

"You're welcome" Dash said

"For what" Tifa asked before she realized that she and Dash were still alive but just to make sure, so she pinked herself hard

"Oh my god…we're still alive" Tifa said before putting her photo away

"Like I said, you're welcome Tifa for saving your butt" Dash said

"I didn't ask you to" Tifa said

"But I did it anyway, now if you will excuse me" Dash said as he tried to walk away but Tifa blocked his way

"You ruined EVERYTHING you know that" Tifa asked him

"What you wanted to become street pizza" Dash asked

"THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT" Tifa snapped, Tifa paused for a minute

"I meant my deal with the doctor" Tifa answered

"Deal" Dash asked, it took him a few moments for him to connect the dots in his head as to why Tifa is angry

"OOOH…I think I get it" Dash said, Tifa then turned her back to him and crossed her arms

"You get NOTHING" Tifa growled

"That girl in the photo with you…she's your sister isn't she" Dash asked her, she then turned her head back to him

"How did you" She was about to ask

"That look on your face in the photo, it only comes from very close siblings, which begs the question why was she in a hospital bed" Dash asked

"Why should I tell you anything, you don't even know me and moreover, why do you care" Tifa answered

"Yeah, your right I mean all I did was save your butt from being flattened on the ground which I could have not done since you tried to pop my head open like a walnut on the Egg carrier" Dash said

"Then why did you" She asked

"Because I know the "good" doctor better than you do" Dash said

"Oh yeah, like what" Tifa asked

"I know that he only relies on robots, NOT hired muscle, what did he promise you, power, a place in his army" Dash asked, Tifa didn't answer

"No…it was money to pay for whatever is ailing your sister, isn't it" Dash asked as Tifa's face spot for itself

"Tifa, you can't trust the doctor, but you can trust me tell me why" Dash asked her, Tifa paused for a minute before answering

"She…she" She tried to say but couldn't find the words to say

"Forget it, you don't have to tell me is you don't want to…but what I can tell is that whatever ails your sister, your likely helping the doctor to get the money necessary to pay for treatment" Dash said, Tifa huffed

"Not a bad guess but it still doesn't excuse the fact that you SCREWED everything up now thanks to you one of the Emeralds was lost when we were forced out of the carrier and NOW the doc is gonna either not give me what I asked or he's just gonna cut me lose" Tifa said

"He would have possibly done BOTH just to keep his money and to get you out of the way, how long have you been working for him" Dash asked

"Close to a year now, I didn't care what he would do to me so long as I got the money to help my sister that was ALL that mattered to me…she's…she's the only family that I have left in the world and I would do ANYTHING for her" Tifa answered

"What did he DO to you" Dash asked

"Once again NONE…of your BUISNESS" Tifa growled

"Well congratulations, because your sister, now she's smack dab in the middle of your problems" Dash said, Tifa snapped her body back in his direction

"DON'T YOU DARE PULL MY SISTER INTO THIS HEDGEHOG" Tifa growled

"SHE ALREADY WAS WHEN YOU TOLD EGGMAN ABOUT HER" Dash snapped back, Tifa reeled back a bit

"Wh-what" Tifa asked

"Now that Eggman knows about your sister that means he's got leverage over you, he can make you do anything he wants you to do so long as he has your sister in his reach…or worse if you disobey him…need I say it" Dash asked her, Tifa's mouth was covered by her right hand in realization that her sister now had a target painted on her back

"My god…WHAT HAVE I DONE" Tifa muttered in fear, suddenly Dash's sword started glowing again and he unsheathed it

"Tifa, you may not trust me, but please believe me when I say that what you did, you had little choice people sometimes do the wrong things for the right reasons but you HAVE to pull yourself together because regretting the choices that you make isn't gonna fix the problem that came from said choices but you know what will" Dash asked her

"What" She asked

"The effort you put into making things right again" Dash answered, Tifa paused

"You know what...now I feel so stupid" Tifa said

"You were desperate, for loved one's people do desperate things but I tell you what when this is over I promise you that I'm gonna help your sister in any way that I can but until then, I ask that you stay away from Eggman, he's nothing but TROUBLE" Dash said

"Again, I ask, why do you even care" Tifa asked him

"Because I've been through the exact same pain that you're going through…more than you can possibly imagine" Dash told her as he started to walk off

"And why should I believe you hedgehog" Tifa asked who stopped in his tracks

"Because I was raised to always honor your promises and I have a name" Dash answered

"Well…what is it then" She asked, Dash then turned back to face her before giving her his father's traditional thumbs up and smirk

"It's Dash…Dash the hedgehog, good luck Tifa" Dash replied before he ran off in the direction that his sword was pointing, leaving Tifa a but stunned but from the look she saw in his eyes…she believed him when he promised to help our her sister

"Dash" Tifa muttered, she then pulled out the picture of herself and her sister

*Regretting the choices that you make isn't gonna fix the problem that came from said choices* Dash's voices rang in her mind

"You know something Ruby…Dash is right" Tifa said to the picture of her sister before putting her photo away and running after Dash

BOOM, another one down

I told ya'll it was short but it looks like Tifa might have a change of heart if Dash plays his cards right, I hope all of you will be safe out there with the C-virus going around these days and please be patient for more of my work in the future, and I am working my fingers to the bone on something new that I might put on the sight also I am working on the next chapter of S.F chronicles
