The Beautiful Route 216! and Welcome to Route 217 Lodge!

Lots of snow and wind was blowing around and the air was cold.

Eventually we reached the exit and I almost had a music orgasm as I walked out and felt the cold air breezing against my face. Every step i took had Snow, everything had snow. I looked at my team, some were shaking a lot, others didn't seemed too bothered. I returned Symphony, Rose and Nube to their balls Pokeball, Premier Ball and Luxury Ball respectively, so I only used Darkness, Princess and Jay. That's all I needed. My three strongest pokemons.

We walked in the snowy Route 216 and fighted trainers, the music was just, beautiful. Jay and I played in the snow, Princess eventually joined and Darkness boredly threw a snowball with her psychic powers but the throw was so bad and it had no enthusiasm at all it didn't hit anyone.

We all got in a snowball fight and eventually even Darkness started to get into it as she threw the snowballs with more and more enthusiasm. Princess also seemed to be having fun and finally relaxing and Jay was absolutely delighted.

After the snowball fight was over we all hugged eachother and I said how I loved them all. They all looked happy and continued walking the beautiful Route 216!

We trained, a lot. We were absolutely exhausted and after being on Route 217 for a while we couldn't take it anymore, I was about to black out when Jay hugged me, her fur warmed me up, I looked at her and she looked at me with a caring look.

Princess had a worried look on her face as she looked around with Darkness for shelter. It seemed there was nothing around. It was cold, very very cold.

"Jay, humans... can't stay in the cold.. for too long... If I die... Please... Help out... the team okay..." I panted, I could slowly feel myself get colder and colder and I closed my eyes.

Something wet touched my face. I opened my eyes to see Jay crying. I wiped the tears away from her and said I loved her. She smiled at me but I could see how sad she looked.

Then I was picked up by the psychic powers of Darkness and quickly taken inside a lodge near Route 217.

I was warmed up. Princess and Jay were next to me. Of course Darkness was also there, she was a little tired, having to carry an entire heavy ass overweight tanned human while being such a small pokemon is no easy task.

"Hello! We'd like to welcome you to Route 217 Lodge, I'm Tom." He spoke, he had a Pokemon next to him.

"I'm fucking cold.. oh and my name is Juan by the way.." I grumbled sitting in a couch near a fireplace.

"Heh yeah we get that a lot." He sadly sighed. "We're sorry the storm messed you up real good... Here on Route 217 the Snowstorm can be atrocious. Which is why we built this lodge to help anyone walking by." Tom smiled.

His pokemon gave me a blanket. It was a very warm one. "Wow thanks, I've never seen that pokemon before." I said, Jay was sitting next to me in the couch hugging me.

"This is my Wife Wendy, she is a Weavile." Tom smiled and the Weavile looked proud.

"Woah Wife, I'm happy for you two." I smiled and looked around. There were pokemon talking and eating with humans, in the same table.

"Woah, there's a lot of people here." I look amazed. "Yep, many trainers that need help come here, we take them in so they can warm up this place is around just as big as the original lodge which is why we allow pokemon and trainers walk around. Of course they can have as many as they want out but if they all had six out, it would be a bit hard to walk around, so most only have one out.." He chuckled.

"Oh true." I nod and return Princess to her pokeball. "Hey, thank you for helping me Darkness." I tell my Bronzor and she nods as I return her to her Dusk Ball. I hold Jay's Heal Ball and she shakes her head no.

"I think she wants to stay, heh if you want she can stay out." Tom nodded.

"Well thank you, see that Jay, you'll stay here for tonight." I smile putting her Heal Ball away and she looks happy.

I looked around. "Wow this place looks absolutely wonderful, it's so warm." I looked happy and was warming really quickly.

"yep, our motto is "Stay a while or stay the night, the foods on us, so go and warm by our fire's light!" This lodge was build after the massive success of the Route 17 Lodge in the Kalos region. My sister Ashley and her Beartic Husband Frosty own it now. It's Incredibly famous in the Kalos region and a lot of trainers go there everyday!" Tom smiled.

"Woah, who were the owners before you two?" I asked already warm.

"Well that would be my father Evan and my mother Jingle the Glaceon." He smiled proudly.

"Woah your mother is a Glaceon? How.. were you born?" I couldn't help but ask.

He grinned and winked at me. "The old fashioned way, cause of my sheer size my mother could only have one human baby at a time. So I was born first, then my sister a few years later. Pokemon can give birth to humans If they uh... Mate... Enough, it seems it doesn't matter what egg group they're on, I've seen crazy stories of couples with... Interesting lovers." Tom shrugged.

"That's Interesting, are your parents okay?" I asked.

Tom sighed. "No.. sadly.. they passed away a few years ago due to natural causes, they had a peaceful death next to eachother in bed. Sadly the owner of the original Route 17 Lodge didn't have such a peaceful death." Tom pointed at a picture of a man and his Glaceon both looking happy as a lodge was behind them saying reopened then he pointed at a picture of a man and his Froslass outside the same lodge, it looked a bit old.

"The original owner of the Kalos Route 17 Lodge, Derek; was murdered by a criminal in his own lodge, then he was robbed. The criminal escaped... But Derek's wife, Snowflake the Frosslass, sought revenge to avenge her husband. She lured the criminal into their abandoned lodge and... We theorize he managed to kill her... But she ended him using Destiny Bond. Derek's and Snowflakes souls left to the hall of origin to rest in peace, so then my mother and father rebuild Route 17 Lodge. I ran it for a while and then my sister came along the way to help me since we were struggling a bit at first and then it was a massive success!" Tom smiled with his wife next to him also smiling.

I looked really sad and so did Jay, we were both sad about their parents and even more sad about what happened with Derek and Snowflake. "So if the lodge is in the Kalos region why is there one here?" I asked.

"A couple of years ago.. I saw a old man being attacked by a lot of Phantumps and one big Trevenant. I went with my first and only pokemon Sneasel and fought all of them head-on. The man saw how when she was too weak I started to shield her from attacks. It hurted like hell." Tom chuckled.

The Weavile hugged his leg lovingly.

"Eventually my girl here defeated all the ghosts and saved the gentleman. The man thanked us, he said If we had one wish what would we wish? I told him I wish I had enough money to build a lodge in the Sinnoh Region, on Route 217 so all the trainers passing through the harsh snowstorms can stay safe and warm up by the fire as they can stay and relax for the night. He looked at me, and gave me Razor Claw saying maybe it would bring good luck. I thanked the man so much and made Wendy hold it. She seemed to like it and I remember her hugging me. The old man had a smile on his face, he wrote something on a paper and he gave me a huge check. I looked shocked. He said he had so much money, he was wasting it on useless things and that this was one of the first things he used his money on, that was worth it. So with that huge sum of money I told my sister to run the Kalos Route 17 Lodge while I built a new lodge in the Sinnoh Region and she agreed." He spoke. Jay and I looked amazed at the story.

"Building it was hard, it seemed impossible even, the snowstorm always happening made building it impossible... But literally all the citizens in Snowpoint City and probably all the trainers you just fought outside in the snow helped me build the lodge together with their pokemon. And after around a week, we managed to build this huge lodge you see here, we had firewood and blankets at the start, but thanks to kind trainers giving us tips we managed to stay open and now we even give out free Remoraid Meat! It's delicious." He smiled.

"Weavile!" She cheered.

"Wow, this place is wonderful, I am so glad you decided to make it for trainers like us." I smiled.

"If you're planning on sleeping here tonight there is a empty room, it's the room with the 4 on it. You should come join us for dinner." Tom spoke kindly and walked with his Weavile close to him.

I looked at Jay and she smiled at me. We went and ate, at the table with our pokemon. We talked about eachothers journey and pokemon. Jay blushed and covered her face when I reminded them how rude she was when I first met her but then removed them when I said now she's a very kind and loving pokemon.

"How loving are we talking about?" Asked a man.

"All the way~" I winked and all the men present had cheeky smiles on their faces. The girls also caught on. Jay blushed but hugged me happily.

"So her name is Jay? What does it stand for, is it short for something?" A girl asked me.

I thought for a long time. It didn't stand for anything really so I made something up. "It's Yay, but starts with a J." I smiled.

She nodded a lot.

Everyone seemed to be happy and we kept eating our food.

After dinner we went into our room. "It's quite cozy here isn't it?" I told Jay and she looked happy as she nodded and sat on the bed.

"We're glad, take care now!!" He said.

I donated 100,000 poke to them. (Yes I did have that much money when I was playing the game to write this story)

They looked shocked. "Sir are you sure we can accept this?!" He looked shocked just like his Weavile.

"That's half of all my money, I'm glad it will be used to keep this place that saved my life up and running, I want this wonderful place to stay up as long as possible cause this place is a heavenly haven for all trainers who need it. It's perfect and I'm so glad you decided to make it. Anywho I wish you luck running it!" I walked off and they waved at us saying thanks for staying and our generous donation!

We were now on Route 217, it was daytime unlike last time when it was night time. I could see better and with Jay next to me we managed to find the next City.
