Hey guys, I'm back, quarantine has been pretty boring so I decided to do another one of these- for the first time in forever not an AU- Leo and Nico! Um, i really like this couple + it was a request from a random guest, so I am going to give it a whirl. Cool cool.

Valdangelo- "You should smile more."

Nico was tired. Actually, scratch that, he was exhausted. He'd been practicing shadow-traveling for hours, and the darkness was started to seep into his soul (quite literally). However, he currently had no clue where he was- he was definitely indoors, as he could see a roof and walls, but where?... That was not an easy question to answer.

He could hear voices, mostly laughing and joking, but every once in a while, a scream would permeate the air and there would be silence for a few moments before the chatter continued.

Suddenly, he heard a voice down the hall from him, and there was Will Solace, staring at him confusedly and then assembling his best 'stern Doctor' face and marching over.

Nico, deciding he could be spared the lecture, looked frantically around for a way out. Spotting no exits, he cursed under his breath, before his eyes lighted on a small patch of shadow.

He hesitated for only a moment, before jumping into the shadow and dematerialising before the horrified son of Apollo, his looks fit to kill.

Nico felt his particles disband and, in his state, he let himself go where he wanted. This is why, but a few second later, an unconscious son of Hades appeared directly in front of an extremely surprised metal dragon, its ider regarding the boy with equal astonishment.

"Crap," Leo cursed. "Goddammit, Nico, again?"

Nico woke up with his head pounding and shoulder length black hair disheveled, the smell of motor oil in the air and a pair of concerned, warm, chocolatey eyes staring at him from not two inches away.

"Gah!" Nico jumped, banging his head on what appeared to be a huge metal wing and pushing Leo's face away with his hand, his face hot and flushed from the proximity.

He made to get up hurriedly, to apologize for making Leo look after him and to leave this awkward situation, but Leo took him firmly by the shoulders and pushed him back down to the floor, frowning as Nico held his head and ears in an attempt to stop the pounding of the blood in his head.

"Whoa, whoa, Death Boy, slow your roll, it's not like it's someone's life on the line! Get it?" Leo joked, in an attempt to lighten Nico's obvious moodiness.

Nico tried to shrug Leo off. "I'm fine," he mumbled. In order to prove his point, Nico attempted to get to his feet, only to be hit by a sudden dizzy spell, almost collapsing into Leo's arms. "Aw, don't go falling for me now," he teased, Nico's face turning fire-truck red with embarrassment.

As Nico turned away to storm off in embarrassment, Leo's face softened, and he grabbed the Italian's boy's arm lightly and cautiously. "Are you sure you're alright Nico?" He asked, his honest, elvish features kinda orangey in Festus' glowing light, and a thrill went through Nico's body as he stood there, frozen to the spot, Leo's worn, crinkled hand grasping his skin and turning it to fire even without his powers.

Nico cleared his throat nervously, trying not to make eye contact for fear of giving himself away. "Um, yeah" he said, a small, uncommon smile on his lips.

Leo froze, looking at him, captivated, only moving when Nico went to pull his arm away from his grip, blushing harder than ever. "Wow..." Leo murmured, his wide eyes fixing onto Nico's.

Nico looked away, heat coursing through his veins. "What?" He whispered.

Leo quickly shook off whatever was bothering him and sent Nico a wide grin. "Nothin'," he said casually. "It's just that you should smile more, because you look damn pretty when you are."

Bit short but, wow, so much cheese my stomach hurts from the dairy overload. Anyway, r&r please and definitely send in oneshot ideas please please please! I do not own PJO, but I do own this story and I will be changing its name next upload to 'Percy Jackson Oneshots/Headcanons' ok cool.
