A/N: Just a little scenario that popped into my brain and I wanted to write immediately. I know I promised chapters, but I have these random ideas that I just love to write and have fun writing. Plus, I have school work that I should be doing, but these words always come easier to write. Anyway, I hope you like this, and let me know what you think.

It was a fairly quiet day in Jump city. With all five Teen Titans going about their days in their T-tower. Robin and his girlfriend, Starfire, sat at the kitchen bar, talking. Cyborg was in his garage (per usual.) And a certain changeling was making his way through Mega Monkeys Extreme. Everything was normal, until a heartbroken empath made her way to the couch with a book in hand.

"Uh, Rae? Wha...?" The green titan started, glancing at the young woman sitting down next to him. "I live in this tower too, Beast Boy. I can sit on the couch in our common room." She says, only focusing on her book harder as she tried to ignore the shocked look the changeling shot in her direction.

"I- uh-, of-of course." Nodding to himself, and also shaking himself out of his shocked state, Beast Boy turned back to his video game on the tv. Just as he started a new level, his thoughts started to go back to their fight. It's been a week. A week since they've talked, normally at least. They were civil with each other. Eating meals together along with the rest of the team. Even while ignoring the sideways glances from Robin and Cyborg.

As well as the blatant comments from Starfire regarding their lack of... warmth for each other. Along with the lack of adoration in their relationship. For example, a few days ago when the team was eating pizza after a relatively quiet crime night. "Beast Boy, why do you not look at friend-Raven with the stars in your eyes anymore?" She asked innocently, munching on her mustard covered slice of pizza. The empath stared intently at her plate filled with a single slice of pizza. As her green former-boyfriend looked forward, a slight blush coloring his tinted skin.

"Th-thanks, Starfire." Beast Boy mumbled, while avoiding eye contact with the rest of the Titans. And certainly not looking at the one person who hurt almost as much as him. "Why do you thank me? I only asked why you two do not do the holding of the hands anymore?" She asked, even as Robin tried to change to subject. "Star, lets not-"

"No, it's fine, Starfire." Raven said, surprising everyone by standing up and pushing her chair back. "Beast Boy just came to his senses is all. And we just agreed to stop wasting both of our time." Looking once more at the single, untouched piece of pizza on her plate, she turned to leave. "I have to go." She said quietly, excusing herself. But not before Beast Boy protested. "Raven, I-"

"It's fine." She said sharply, cutting him off. Then to everyone, "Good night, I'll see you tomorrow." And with a flip of her hood and a sliding of the doors, Raven was gone. As soon as the blue titan's presence was gone, Beast Boy sighed, defeated. "Thanks guys, I'm gonna go to bed." The others didn't press him, seeing his normally care free demeanor slip away into self guilt.

Getting up, he headed to his room, but not before noticing a certain light flick off under a certain room door. Wanting to talk to her, but not daring, he continued on. Even as the young woman on the other side of the door wept silently. Her heart broken, as she recounted their fight.

——

They hadn't talked or even looked at each since. Robin and Starfire watched with sad gazes, as their friends continued to isolate more and more. Cyborg tried talking to Beast Boy, but he just shut down. And Starfire valiantly tried as well, but Raven just disappeared into her circle in the ground. They helped each other on missions, like normal. But whenever Beast Boy would try and talk to her, or even thank her, Raven would leave to help someone else.

Yesterday, the empath had saved him from a crumbling building crushing him. "Thanks," He said breathlessly, once they were a safe distance away and on solid ground. "Rae, your bleeding." Beast boy said, looking with a concerned look at the cut on her left bicep. "I can-"

"It's fine." Raven interrupted, shrugging off the sting on her arm "I have to go." The dark Titan said, looking over his shoulder, although he highly doubted there was anything there. Tilting his head to catch her gaze, Beast Boy tried to at least look at her. "Rae, please..."

"I'm sorry, Robin needs me. Another building is collapsing." She said emotionessly, before morphing into her black raven and gliding away. He watched her rise, remembering the days when they would barely leave each other. How they were always holding hands, and making nonsense jokes. How they would kiss, even when the others pretended to gag. He missed it, he missed her. But it seems, she didn't miss him.

But it did hurt her, just as much as it hurt him. Thinking back to the words exchanged...

'Was I always just second best? Have these years just been a rebound from Terra?' She had yelled at him, hoping she was wrong. But his lack of words and the way he wouldn't look at her only proved her right. 'Rae, it-it wasn't like that.' He said finally, looking up at her with tears in his eyes. 'Then what was it like Beast Boy?' She flung at him, even as he flinched when she called him by his Titan name.

'Rae, please- just.' He said moving towards her, pleadingly looking at her.

'I have to go.' She said, bringing her hood up, as the tears threatened to spill. 'This,' Raven said, motioning between the two of them. 'This is so over. Not that it was ever real.' She said coldly, turning for the door. Just as she felt Beast Boy grasp her hand. 'Please Rae, it wasn't- just let me-'

'No,' Yanking her arm from his grasp. 'Just-just leave me alone.' And within seconds, Raven melted into the floor, leaving a heart broken green changeling in his green bedroom. Sinking to his knees, he put his head in his hands whispering, 'It wasn't because of Terra. You were never second best.'

A/N: A little To All The Boys in here? Continuing from what I was saying, I have a chapter for the Neptune Secret and a layout to continue the Consequence of Wariness. So, I'll be trying to write, just bear with me. Thank you for reading, and have a great day. -NR17
