What could've/ should've/ would've happened.
I know not everyone will always be pleased with what I write and how I write it. But I did see what you meant about just kissing and making up. I don't want to write a toxic relationship, I hate when authors do that. So I just had a little idea and now I'm just going with it. Let's see how it goes!
Picking up...
They went back to their own minds, as the minutes ticked by painfully slow. 'That's it,' The green titan thought to himself, building up his nerve. 'She'll hate me forever. But at least she'll know.' And with a final glance at his hands in his lap, he turned to the silent girl next to him.
He brought his hands to her face, bringing her sad eyes to his. And before she could pull away, or he lost his nerve, he crashed his mouth down upon hers.
...
"You kissed her!" It was stated as more of an incomprehensible statement than a question. "Are you insane?" Cyborg wasn't only pondering if the changeling standing in front of him had a brain encased in his thick skull, but also how he was still alive.
"Yeah..." Beast Boy said sadly, reaching up to rub his neck worriedly. "She wasn't..." Thinking back to Raven's reaction left him stunned. "She should have-" He was numb, leaning back on the steady walls of Cyborg's workshop. The metal titan was worried for both of them, judging by the lost expression his best friend was wearing.
His best friend that usually wouldn't shut up couldn't even speak a full sentence, let alone hold a conversation. He only stared into space here and there, ran a hand through his now unruly hair, and slumped against the doorway in defeat.
And Raven, Beast Boy would and probably should be in scattered pieces right now. But she didn't hurt him. This was a mystery to him, and to her, as she sat a silent statue on her dark covers several stories above them. A worrisome expression on her usually emotionless face. Emotions waging war inside her frozen, trance like state.
...
The dark empath wasn't seen at dinner that night. The changeling had, however, managed to walk himself down, but was unsuccessful in easing his friends concerns. Starfire was practically bubbling over in her need to know what had happened. But her boyfriend only shook his head, eyes downcast, when she started to ask Beast Boy.
"I'm sorry, I just-" The green titan stood abruptly, startling the other three members. His tofu sat untouched before him, even as he stared unseeingly at his fellow titans. His voice cracked, causing them all to see how hurt he was. "I can't do this."
...
Slap!
The nineteen-year-old green changeling gaped in shock at the young women next to him. She, also nineteen, was holding the offending limb away from her body. She was stuck between wanting to start crying, and repulsing the thought of it.
"Rae, I am so- I don't know what- I'm so sorry." He worriedly tried to apologize, even as the empath sat frozen on her place on the couch. "Rae?" Shaking herself out of her trance, she snapped her gaze up to the frantic changeling. "Why would you kiss me?" She warbled out, stunned by the pressure and warmth of his mouth on hers up until a few seconds ago.
"What?" He asked frantically, worriedly running a shaking hand through his messy hair. "I- I wanted you to know, to know that I love you. That you are so important to me, and these past few weeks, I've just been wandering around the tower aimlessly. I've missed going to your room, and you coming to mine. I miss finding your meditation candles under my bed when I've lost my communicator and I'm searching for it. And-and..."
"Stop." The words were spoken firmly, even though the figure they came from was becoming unhinged by the second. Every syllable and word that fell from his mouth was another shard of glass into her heart. "What?" The green titan looked up, hoping she wasn't shutting down and cutting him off like everyone else.
But as he looked in her eyes, he knew she was raising her shields and blurring him out. Then the words that he worried about, left her trembling lips. "You thought you could kiss me and everything would go back to normal?" A beat of silence, with him wondering if he should answer, if he should dare. And her asking, pleading him to say something, anything. But he said nothing.
"A simple act of affection will not answer the questions we have been asking ourselves for weeks. Nor will it right the wrong of us not asking each other in the first place." Answering her own question, she got up from the couch soundlessly. Turning to look at the heartbroken changeling, violet met emerald. Her hood came up, leaving her face in shadows. And without a second thought, she slipped seamlessly into the floor.
When the young women reappeared into her room, she collapsed onto the floor. Raven ripped her hood off, revealing tear stains leading up to violet colored eyes.

Garfield Logan was relatively unharmed, (on the outside) sure. But the biggest red flag the team saw the next few days, was that he seemed incapable to even try and conjure up his usual goofy smile. He didn't feel like smiling or to even think about being happy.
'I lost her.' He thought to himself miserably, the night of the initial shock still heavy on his mind. Sitting on his bed in his catatonic state, he only thought of what he could do. He wouldn't give up Raven, he had never meant to hurt her. This whole thing, it just...
"Why do I have to be such a screw-up?" He asked, head in hands, fingers tugging the coarse strands of dark green hair. "I'm so sorry, Rae. So, so, sorry..."
