Since the UA entrance exam things had been relatively improving. Izuku's new teacher was Eraser head, he was able to cancel out people's quirks, sounded like an ass but it was better than Izuku's last teacher who was just downright spineless. It was true though, Izuku had a quirk. He was evasive about why he'd never used it but as I said, none of my business. Not to mention he stood up to Bakugo, that made me happy and still does to this day. Things at Hero school have been the same, prideful pricks tried to one up each other, and every now and then someone tried to calm them down only to find there was no hope. So damn prideful and selfish. I heard there's a few classes in this school where there were some decent people training to be Heroes, but they're far and few between. Mugiti finally found a job as a line cook and Mom was working away as she always does. I on the other hand was walking home from the bus stop, about halfway to my apartment building. I decided to use one of the back alleys to shorten the trip. Our classes were almost completely active today and I could've used a nap. "Hey, Matchigaten!" Someone called for me. It was Ljima and Burtu Paraido, classmates of mine. Ljima looked like a rip off of Drako Malfoy from Harry Potter and could shoot a beam that would stun someone for about 5 seconds then be unusable for about 9 seconds, he was a bit prideful but not nearly as bad as most of the kids...he was nice. Burtu on the other hand couldn't be any different. He had black, short hair, was short and fat and he could make his hands and feet stick to surfaces, walls, debris, limbs. Wasn't very useful in a fight but helped with his mobility. Burtu wasn't very prideful but he sure was an ass. "Nice neighborhood you live in." Ljima complemented. "Thanks…" I said slightly confused. Why were they here? "You guys live around here?" I asked as I tried to be friendly. Then Ljima responded with "Well, No. But we were in the neighborhood an-" Ljima was then interrupted by Burtu. "We followed you.". A red flag rose as Ljima face palmed. "Smooth Burtu." Ljima chastised his brother. "Listen Matchigaten...Taru sent us."

Taru, these guys were kinda bad news but Taru was like Hosu's own version of Bakugo, he thought he was god's gift to earth. His quirk was called Endure, when activated any wounds he had would begin to recover extremely fast, he was also around twenty five percent faster in every physical way. Basically for thirty seconds he would be unstoppable but he could only use it every three minutes. His fighting style (if you could call it that) was to pummel anyone to a pulp within the thirty seconds, usually it worked because people would either panic and futility attack or try to run and be caught. He was the leader of his friend group and they usually listened without question, Taru really thought he was something. "I see. So what's up?" I asked in an attempt to keep the situation friendly. "Just want to ask you a question man!" Ljima responded. "And to beat you into submission if you answer wrong." Burtu added aggressively. "Ignore him, he's had a bad day." Ljima reassured as he glared at Burtu. "I don't know man, that sounded vaguely like a threat." I stated. "Matchigaten...I'm sorry. Just answer this question and we'll get out of your hair." Ljima half ordered, half pleaded. I felt weird, everyone I knew just called me Kyo, or Kyokia. I knew this was polite but it was just unordinary. "Okay, shoot." I agreed. Ljima looked relieved at hearing this. " Okay, thanks man. Do you think Villains deserve a second chance?" Ljima asked. Oh God, this again. "Yes." I bluntly murmured. Ljima's look of relief turned to sorrow, Burto's face flared up though. "Well then." Burto stated "Guess it's come to this". "Burto!" Ljima called out as he stunned him in place, he continued. "Burto give him a chance to accept!" Burto just grunted and stared at me with daggers. "Matchigaten, Taru told us if you said that, we should...convince you to unenroll from school." Ljima informed me. I kinda liked the guy so I decided to give him fair warning. "Ljima, you are a very kind person, I respect you for that, seeing the school we're attending." Ljima looked surprised to hear that. "Oh, um...thanks!" He said hopefully. I continued. "Burtu, you're a dick to many people, but very loyal to your friends, that's respectable." Burtu's expression didn't change. "Kind of a backhanded compliment." Burtu stated. "But flattery won't get you anywhere...time for you to leave this school cause we ain't going down with ya." I realized they were threatened into this, that changed things. "It wasn't a compliment, it's a warning." I corrected. "This doesn't have to fall to violence… please don't let it." I slightly pleaded. "I like ya man, really but we kinda have to." Ljima admitted. "This isn't exactly heroic." I reminded them. "We're doing this to make sure you don't end up like Omiora!" Burto retorted. I found it funny that they called Omiora by her first name when they called me by my last, I thought perhaps they didn't care about her. "Is that what Taru told ya?" I questioned. "I'm sorry Matchigaten...I really am." Ljima apologized. "Very well, I only have one request." I stated. Ljima winced at this while Burto laughed. "Sure, what is it?" Burto asked confidently. "Forgive me for this." I requested.

I got ready to fight. Lijima powered up his beam "I'm sorry, I really am." "Don't apologize for doing what you feel is right." I said. He shot the beam at me and I let it hit me, it wasn't meant to damage so I didn't lose any stamina. "You're mine!" Burto shouted as he charged at me. "You're wrong." I corrected as I shot telekinetic energy at the ground and point up making a barrier. Burto face planted into it and I pushed the barrier (along with Burtu) in Ljima's direction. Ljima dodged and in turn Burto went flying into the side of the alley way, he's momentarily stunned and I used this advantage to try to talk them down. "You're acting like horrible Heroes, why? I know you're not." I stated. Ljima looks away from me and Burtu just yells "Shut up! Either you leave or we end up on Taru's bad side!". There we were, he was doing this to protect him and Ljima, I could use that. I started to say something but Ljima ran up to me, he tried to hit me with a shoulder bash so I sidestepped him and shoot a telekinetic blast at his feet to unbalance him. Burtu tried to punch me so I jumped back and threw Ljima at him, Burtu noticed and tried to dodge but too little too late. "Why even listen to him if he treats you like that?" I quizzed as they tumbled to the ground. "I…" Ljima started. "Shut it! We're doing fine!" Burtu yelled. I couldn't get through to him and decided to take him out of the equation. "All right, you need a time out." I stated as I used telekinesis to hold him down. It would take a lot from me to do this for too long so I had to be quick. "Let him go!" Ljima demanded and he goes for a punch. I use telekinesis to shoot myself back far enough to dodge the punch. "He's not thinking straight, he'll get someone hurt!" I insisted. Ljima just looked back at Burtu, who was trying to get himself back up. "Get him Ljima!" Burtu demanded him. "Ljima, he's doing this to protect you." I reminded. "But he's not considering what you want to do, so tell us...what do you want to do?" Ljima looked at me with a surprised look. "I-I...I don't wanna fight you!" Ljima started. "You don't seem that bad!" This was going well, soon I'd be able to end this and take that nap. "When you told us to forgive you for fighting us, I thought you'd go all out...but you're just dodging and counter attacking! I…" Ljima was trying to think of what to say next. "Ljima I never wanted to hurt either of you." I said. "Don't listen to him Ljima!" Burtu commanded. "Burtu…" I let him go. Causing him to stand up, he started to walk towards me. "I know that you don't want your brother to get hurt." I revealed. This caused Burtu to stop. "You're just protecting Ljima, and that's admirable." I encouraged. Burtu then avoided his gaze. Ljima just looked at Burtu sympathetically. "You know...I believe Villains deserve a second chance, so why should Heroes be any different?" I asked them. They both looked up at me. "You...you think we're Heroes?" Ljima asked surprised "After jumping you?" . "You're both doing what's best for your brother. Listen, let's just forget about all this, start over, we could be...friends?" I suggested. "No." Burtu replied. "I don't want your sympathy." Both Ljima and I just stared at him. "What?" I questioned. "I forced my brother into something he didn't want to do, attacked you… how could you be asking to be friends!? Why would I deserve to be friends with you after I did this to a classmate who's never even given me a dirty look, and my own brother!?" Burtu demanded, he started to cry at this. I paused "...Some people are seen as Villains because they made a mistake, I believe they should get a second chance. I'd be a hypocrite if I weren't going to give two heroes who made a mistake that chance either." I stated. This stopped the fight. We started to exchange numbers "What are you gonna do about Taru?" Burtu questioned.

"We'll talk it out." I replied. Damn it Izuku look what you did, you rubbed off on me. "I'm sorry Matchigaten." Burtu bluntly stated. "My friends call me Kyo." I informed. "Okay, well we should go… See you at school Kyo!" Ljima said and with that they began to leave, I thought maybe I was wrong about them. I continued to walk home and decided to take the elevator, I was exhausted. To be honest it was good that I had talked them down because I couldn't really have gone much longer while holding Burtu down. I got to my apartment and I knew that Mugiti and Mom would be home later so I just took an apple and started eating and my phone rang, It was Izuku. "Hey Izuku" I greeted. "Hey Kyo! Is everything ok?" Izuku questioned. "What do you mean?" I asked, I wondered why he would think something was wrong. "You just sound...distraught." He informed me. Once I thought about it yeah I was rather distraught. "Oh! Um, distraught? Nah I'm not distraught I-I'm fine!" I attempted to lie. "You're terrible at lying." Izuku stated. "Damn it. Okay you win...I was jumped today by fellow classmates." I confessed "What!?" Izuku screamed. "That's terrible! Why would anyone do that?" He then started to mutter a lot before I interrupted him. "They were scared Izuku." I informed him. "Huh?" Izuku paused. "They were asked to jump me by some bully, The older one was worried about what would happen if they ended up on this guy's bad side." I informed him. "Oh." Izuku responded. "Why would he tell them to do that?". "My opinion on Villains is a dangerous one to have Izuku." I reminded him. "He believe's I'll end up like Omiora." "No way! There's no way you'd turn into a Villain!" Izuku proclaimed. "Heh...he doesn't think so." I said, "Well then he doesn't know you!" Izuku continued. "...What did you do to the other two?" "I talked them out of it. Guess you rubbed off on me." I confessed. Izuku laughed at this. "I miss you." I stated. "It's been a while since I've seen you in person." I continued. "We've known each other for so long, the fact you're not here is...strange.". "I know what you mean." Izuku agreed. I missed him a lot. He was my best friend since I was small, I guessed it's natural. "It's been trying at UA." Izuku confessed. "I keep being sent to the nurses office. I keep having trouble with Kacchan in one way or another. It was so much easier when I was able to hang out with you.". I was touched by that. "Well, tell ya what. Next time we have the chance I'll visit ya." I cheerfully said. "That would be nice, Mom misses you guys too." Izuku informed me. "Yeah, my Mom has just been dying to talk with yours but she's really busy with work...all the time. Now Mugiti's got work and school so I'm usually chilling alone." I stated. "I'm sorry to he-" Izuku stopped mid sentence then said "-oh, dinners ready, I gotta go. talk with you later Kyo!" Izuku said. "Oh, see you later, enjoy your meal." I said as Izuku hung up. Oh well, he was busy. I continue to look in the fridge. There were some leftover pork chops and I was still too tired to cook anything so I grabbed them, sat down on the couch and turned on the tv. I looked at the time...5:45PM. Mugiti would be off work at 7:00PM and mom would be off work at 9:00, so I had the house to myself for a bit to say the least. I sat there watching random tv shows until Mugiti showed up. "What is this?" she demanded. "What?" I asked. "Where's dinner?" She responded. "Oh, dinner. There's leftovers." I responded. "Jesus man, all I want is a warm meal. You've been here since when? What have you been doing?" she asked, obviously joking. "Tv, that's it." I responded. "Yeah sounds like you." she said as she goes to grab some leftovers. "What you watching?" She asked. "I don't know." I responded. I didn't really care about what was on, as long as it passed the time. "Wow you suck at this." Mugiti stated. "Just wait a minute I'll find something." After her food was ready she sat next to me and started looking through the channels. "What you wanna watch? Horror? Got it." She said, not giving me time to respond." "Guess its horror then." I agreed, slightly amused.
