The day before the festival, everyone got up early to travel to Musutafu. A few days prior Izuku had guessed that we'd be traveling to cheer him on in the UA sport festifal. "Surprise?" was all I could think of as a reply at the time. He was ecstatic to say the least upon me confirming it. That was the last time I talked to him for a while but I understood…seeing as he would have to train a lot. We got onto the train to Musutafu, Uncle Kiyaka was cracking jokes all the way there and Mom was booking a hotel to stay at that was close to Izuku's apartment. Mugiti was on her phone most of the ride there and I was talking with Uncle Kiyaka about anything that came to mind in order to pass the time. It was a nice ride but it wouldn't hold a dime to the UA festival. We arrived at Musutafu and made our way to our hotel room. "We'll be there in about an hour." Mom said over the phone as we were walking to our rooms. She had booked individual rooms for all of us. Uncle Kiyaka tried to talk her into letting him pay for his but she wouldn't have it. "Okay, so when we get to Inko's place Izuku won't be there since he's training." Mom informed me, Inko was Izuku's Mother's first name. "Yeah he better be." Uncle Kiyaka said. He was right, Izuku had a lot of work tomorrow. Our room was decent and we unpacked. "So what's his family like?" Uncle Kiyaka asked me as he pulled out clothes and a single chocolate bar from his bag. "He lives with his mom." I informed him. "Ah I see." Uncle Kiyaka stated as he bit into the chocolate bar, he dropped the topic after that. After about fifteen minutes we got in a cab and were driven to Izuku's house. When we got there and Mom gave a friendly hug. "It's been too long." Mom said to her. "Yes, it has." agreed. "Who's your friend?". "My names Kiyaka Wagam." Uncle Kiyaka introduced himself with a cheerful smile. "It's nice to meet you Mr. Wagam." replied, giving a smile of her own. We went inside to catch up and have a small lunch, it was a lovely meal. A while later we heard the front door open. "Mom! I'm home!" Izuku yelled. He walked in to see us all in his living room. A smile appeared on his face. "Hey everyone!" he exclaimed. Mom gave him a hug, Uncle Kiyaka introduced himself, hell even Mugiti was happy to see him. "Long time to see." I stated as I approached him. "You can say that again." He laughed. We talked about UA for a bit and after a few hours of catching up we left, seeing as Izuku had quite the day ahead of him tomorrow.
We got to the hotel around 10:00 AM "They seem like nice people." Uncle Kiyaka said. "Yeah they are." I confirmed with a nod. "How you think he's gonna do at the festival?" Uncle Kiyaka asked me. "I like to think he'll do well." I replied while looking up, pondering the question momentarily "But I don't know anyone there or their quirks.". "I hear Endeavor's son is going to be in the festival.". "Oh don't get me started on him." I pleaded. "What? You don't like, kind, considerate, Endeavor?". Uncle Kiyaka teased. "He's like a grown up version of Bakugo." I stated with a slight hint of bitterness. "Who?" Uncle questioned. "Nevermind." I replied with a head shake. "Endeavour should have become a villain with his attitude.". "Yeah I'm not the biggest fan of him either." Uncle agreed. "Why speculate?" I asked. "We'll see tomorrow." Uncle Kiyaka smiled at this. "We'll I'm going to hit the hay, see you tomorrow." He said as he left my hotel room. That was a good idea. I decided to go to sleep as well. I woke up the next morning and got ready to go to the sports festival. There was a restaurant at the hotel so we ate breakfast there then made our way to the event. To say there were a lot of people there would be an understatement. It actually took a while to get to our seats. "Well here we are." Uncle Kiyaka stated. There was a lot of security here, probably due to the fact they were attacked by this group of Villains. The "League Of Villains", I wonder how many of those thugs were either forced into it or hesitant about it. We sat there for about five minutes making small talk with each other before the festival started. "Hey! Make some noise all you rabid sports fans!" It was Present Mic, the voice pro hero. He was a decent person but boy was he ever in love with the fame he got. Everyone was cheering, even Mugiti was. "Get those cameras prepped media hordes." Present Mic ordered. He was talking to the multiple cameramen recording the event. "This year we're bringing you some of the hottest performances in sports festival history, guaranteed." He promised. "We'll see about that." Uncle Kiyaka challenged below his breath. "I've only got one question before we start this show:" Present Mic continued. "Are you ready!?". Present Mic made a great announcer to say the least. He then introduced the students as they walked onto the field. Izuku was among the first. He was looking around. "Probably nervous about the amount of people." I stated. "I'd be." Mom informed me. Present Mic started introducing all the other classes onto the field.
After a bit the pro hero Midnight appeared on a platform in the middle of the field, this meant she was the chief empire. "Now the introductory speech!" She declared. Her Hero costume was… perhaps not adequate for a teacher, to say the least. "Silence everyone!" She ordered. "And for the student pledge, we have Katsuki Bakugo!" She announced. "Oh God." I muttered as I visibly deflated. "What's up?" Uncle Kiyaka questioned. "Just watch." I suggested in a resigned tone. Bakugo walked up to the platform slouched and with his hands in his pockets. He stood there silent for about eight seconds before he announced. "I just wanna say...I'm gonna win.". "Oh." Uncle Kiyaka said. "Meet Bakugo, the biggest asshole I've ever met." I stated with a wave of my hand in his direction. Mom looked at me with an eyebrow raised...then looked back to the field. "Yeah sounds like one." Uncle Kiyaka agreed. There was uproar in the field, all the students were livid. Iida approached the stage and said something along the lines of "Why would you do that?". Bakugo just turned to him and said something, I couldn't tell what though. Bakugo walked back to his classmates and Midnight declared that the first game would be started soon. "Well he's a charmer." Uncle Kiyaka joked. "Oh yes, with a broken wand." I joked in return. This big screen came literally out of nowhere at the front of the platform and started rolling like a lottery wheel, it landed on "Obstacle Race". An obstacle course, this would be interesting. Midnight explained that all classes would be running the course around the field and as long as they didn't leave the course they could do as they pleased. This would be an interesting day. They went from the obstacle course to team based sports to a lot of duels, it was...impressive. Izuku didn't win the championship of duels but he sure did grab people's attention with his quirk, but did he do so in the right way?
The sports festival overall was amazing, the amount of talented people with amazing quirks was impressive, and I hoped they'd all become great heroes in the future. After the sports festival everyone applauded Izuku for his effort and went home, it was hard...but had to be done. My life proceeded as normal, Izuku's didn't. It was one trial after another, though he did make many friends along the way. I was convinced the person he grew up as had long since improved. Eventually the same villains that attacked UA at the USJ had attacked them again, this time however they had kidnapped Bakugo, I didn't know why and I barely knew how. For a few days after the attack I had tried to call Izuku but he wouldn't pick up. I knew he was ok but still... I was worried. Uncle Kiyaka called before I could do anything else. "Heya kiddo!" He said...rushed. "Hey Uncle. What's up?" I asked, wondering why he was rushed. "I was just wondering if you wanted to spend the day with me tomorrow." He asked. I hadn't really seen him since the festival but I wasn't sure if I should, seeing as Izuku may call back. "I-I don't know." I responded. "Aw come one kiddo! It gets lonely ya know!" Uncle continued as if panicked. "You okay Uncle?" I questioned, starting to get concerned. "I'm fine kiddo, but I really think you should hang out with me tomorrow." He pushed. "If you're so sure…maybe at 4:00?" I conceded, He let out a relieved sigh. "Yeah kiddo, that sounds good." He was about to hang up. "OH!" He added. "Bring your music box.", I was surprised to hear that. "Uncle?" I asked. "Just trust me on this." He ordered as he hung up.
The next day proceeded as normal until 4:00 pm. Uncle Kiyaka was there to pick me up as soon as he could, he had a limousine and that struck me as odd seeing as it wasn't really his style, I hoped in jacket and bracers on and music box in hand, apparently that was all I needed. "Is everything alright Uncle?" I asked. "Yeah kiddo! Everythings alright! I just thought we'd spend the day together!" He assured me. "Wanna go see a movie?". "Sure!" I exclaimed. "It may be good to get my head off things." I admitted with a sigh. "Yeah you and me both." Uncle Kiyaka agreed. We spent a lot of time together, he was constantly trying to keep me entertained. I didn't know why but I went with it. He kept calling Mom and checking up with her but around 8:00 PM I decided to say something. "Uncle, it's been fun...but you're acting off. Are you ok?" I asked him, now fully concerned. "Well, it's… Listen we'll discuss it after dinner." He stated. "Dinner?" I questioned. "Yep! You'll be eating at my place!" He cheerily said. I was starting to get curious and wondered if he and Mom were up to something. "Alright." I agreed. Uncle Kiyaka had a very big house, it was rather nice and a ways away from my apartment. When we got there he ordered some pizza. "You're this wealthy and you still decide to order pizza?" I quizzed. "Well you seem to like it so much." He responded. After the pizza arrived we went to the dining room, it was rather small and with only one entrance, we ate and I cut to the chase. Uncle you've been acting really off today...Are you alright?" I asked again, not willing to let him slip away without a response this time. "...No." He bluntly stated, not looking up from his food. I was expecting this, his usual cheery carefree mood was replaced with a paranoid one all day. "I made a contract with myself." He informed me, I just raised an eyebrow at this expecting to continue. "About how your family would fare in the next couple years." he continued. "And?" I asked somewhat nervously. "I'm so glad I did," he confessed. He stared at his food for about 10 seconds before continuing "Tonight is going to be a horrible one for both of us.". "What do you mean?" I got up and started to walk over to comfort him. He hesitated to say anything for a few moments, then finally opened his mouth. "Kiddo...your mother and sister are going to die tonight."
I wondered if I heard him right "What?" I asked in disbelief as I stopped dead in my tracks. "There's a fight in your neighborhood as we speak. Your family won't be the only ones to die." Uncle Kiyaka informed. "W-What do you mean?" I asked, still processing this. "It can't be that ba-" "All Might will be there." Uncle interrupted. There was silence for about five seconds, If he was there then yes...It would be bad. "I have to go." I informed as I went for the entrance. As I did a green barrier blocked the door. "I can't let you leave Kyokia." Uncle said, still looking at the other side of the room. "Wha-how…" I stammered. How did he… this wasn't his quirk. "I know what you're thinking kid." He informed me. "How did that barrier appear here?" I just looked at him with a surprised face. "Some people get desperate." He stated, still refusing to look at me. "I make contracts giving them things they need, money, love, people taken care of… in exchange for their quirks.". I was dumbfounded, mouth agape, the whole nine yards. "Kyokia, I never talk about my career because I'm a villain." He finally revealed. I looked at him wide eyed, although he couldn't see me do so "What!?" I demanded. "But people wou-". "I've taken precautions. Not all villains wish to be known." He interrupted, "I've amassed quite the armada over my years, I can't let you leave kid." He repeated sadly. "Why not!?" I demanded, now angry. "You'll die too...I've seen it." He informed me cryptically, but he was trembling. I stood there without saying anything. "I tried for hours, trying to find a way to save your mother... your sister… But I couldn't. I could only save you." He reported quietly. My head started to swirl, this was a lot to take in. "You're a Villain!? Does Mom know about this?" I asked. "No, she never knew." He stated. "Uncle I can save them!" I insisted as I rushed to his side, he finally looked at me with…sure a resigned face. "We...can save them!" "In that scenario we're both killed by the villain, you lashed out and I tried to stop you, we made it just in time to die." He revealed, the same look on his face all the while, I didn't know what to say. "It won't be much longer till it's safe for you to leave...I'm so sorry Kyokia." He apologized. I stood there, staring at him for a long time, not being able to process or believe what was happening. Would I ever see them again? He averted his gaze from mine until his head shook up, The barrier fell. "And with that, this society has taken two more of the people I loved most." He said with a pained expression. "But your friends will be there for you." He informed me. I just looked at him, tears in my eyes. "I should hate you..." I said, But I didn't, I couldn't. I ran to his doorway.
