About two hours later the portal opened again. Ugoka had explained his quirk to me in detail. He could form a forcefield around himself which could take a hit to say the least. This allowed him to get close to ranged fighters and gave him an advantage against melee fighters. It wasn't unbreakable however and it could last about 10 minutes before it's "energy" depleted. He was recounting a bar fight when Seishika walked back into the living room with a box, he said "It's ready, take this.". He then dug into his pocket with one hand while balancing the box and tossed a cylindrical device at me, I caught it and promptly asked him, "What's this?". Seishika bluntly replied "Press the button when you want the portal to open." I looked at the device and there was indeed a button, I assumed it was a notification device of some sort. "Smart thinking." I said to him, I then looked to Omiora and Ugoka and asked "Are you ready? It'll be time based and a hostage situation." They looked at one another and then to me, Ugoka said "You ever done this before kid?" I looked at him and with all the confidence I had said "We'll make due.". With that they nodded and began to walk towards the portal. "Wait." Seishika stopped us and cocked his head to the living room table. "The box.". The box he had was placed there, I went to check it out and there were masks inside, balaclavas. I didn't understand why we would need masks until I realized it was an Intimidation tactic. Seishika must've caught wind I understood because he just said. "Wear them until it's time to get the message out. You'll need to ascend three stories before you reach the broadcasting room, Good luck." Seishika said as we went through the portal. We were in what appeared to be a storage room, once we were all in the portal closed and the cylinder the portal was projected from evaporated, that explains why he gave us another one. I looked at Omiora and Ugoka and said "When it's time to leave, I'll project a wave around me, drop to the ground to avoid being pushed away by it. It'll buy us time to escape." I handed the cylinder to Omiora. "As I project the wave, set this down somewhere it's easily accessible to us." I then handed the device Seishika gave me to Ugoka. "You'll press the button and we'll be teleported out.". "Got it." Omiora confirmed. Ugoka nodded and with that we looked to the door.
"Masks on" I said while turning to Ugoka and Omiora. "This is your last chance to turn back kid." Ugoka warned me as he put his mask on. "To what?" I promptly asked, on the verge of snapping back. "To a society who praises these "Heroes"? I think not…". "What's the plan?" Omiora asked once her mask was on, I paused and said "We need to get to the News anchors, there will be a lot of security to take care of but once we get to them they'll likely still be broadcasting this, they'd want the attention and publicity after all. If they aren't...we'll force them to". "Doors? Locks? You thinking this through?" Ugoka chimed in. "I'll see to that." I respond quickly. "No amount of locks can stop telekinesis." Ugoka let out a sigh and said "fine, let's go." We walk out of the room, it's in a hallway leading to two other doors and what looks like an elevator. "There's no way we can be sneaky here, this'll be rather loud." I informed them. "That's more like it!" Ugoka said enthusiastically, Omiora looked at the elevator and asked "Should we risk taking the elevator?". "There has to be a camera between here and the elevator, can't risk them forcing it to stop, we'll take the stairs." I informed them. "I'll destroy it so that we can stay somewhat incognito but they'll know we're coming." I looked directly at Ugoka and said. "If we're held at gunpoint, jump in front of me and use your quirk to take the bullets, I'll use mine to form a wall for us to advance." Ugoka gave me an understanding nod and said "Let's go then'' as we walked out of the room. I crushed the camera using my quirk and we made our way to the door. Ugoka went to open it but it wouldn't budge. "Locked." He muttered. "Likely a silent alarm, we need to act now." Ugoka broke the glass on the door and opened it from the other side. I walked in and looked for any camera's, I saw one and crushed it too. "Any security they have will be coming from other floors if they're not at the studio already." I said looking at the staircase. I then looked at the wall and said "They already know we're here." and used my quirk to take a chunk of it out and smash a section of the stairs, denying anyone accessibility to our and higher flights. "That should stall for a bit." I muttered to myself, then heard an authoritative "Stop right there!". It came from a security guard on the story above us, he was currently pointing a gun at Ugoka. I used my quirk to throw it out of his hands and down the stairs. "Who are you? Why are you here!?" He yelled at us as we walked up the stairs. He went to throw a punch but Ugoka Sucker punched him then slammed his head into the wall, knocking him out. Omiora took his security card "Just in case." she remarked as she stuffed it in her pocket.
Once we got to the studio the light above the door read "On Air''. The door was stronger than the previous ones so I used my quirk to tear it down. A hallway led to another door and I looked at Ugoka who went first. As we reached about mid way about four security guards turned the corner, guns aimed and yelled "Halt!" and the like. Ugoka activated his quirk successively absorbing the bullets as I formed a telekinetic wall, I started to push it forward and we advanced due to this. Once we reached the security guards I picked two of them up and slammed them into each other a few times. Ugoka fought the other two while Omiora made sure he felt no pain from their blows. After we knocked out the guards we walked into the studio. As we walked in there were two anchors, a person stood at the left side of them and the technology crew. Most of them were cowering but the female anchor stared at me with daggers. "Why are you here!?" She asked confrontationally. "Hina...please don't aggravate them! They're obviously villains!" The male Anchor said as he trembled, I felt if he wasn't on air he'd be hiding behind the desk. I looked at the female anchor and said "Ms…I'm sorry, I was never one for the news.". "Wata." She coldly informed me. I nodded and continued. " , I have a question for you. How many people are watching your program right now?" She raised an eyebrow. "Doragmessen news is Hosu's most popular new channel so most of Hosu was watching us before this whole incident started, but now that you villains are here our viewing numbers have skyrocketed.". I scowled, as I found that disgusting. Then I wondered how many people were only watching because some villains and heroes would be duking it out. "Well I'm glad that so many people are watching, I have a message for Japan.". Ugoka, Omiora and I started to walk towards the desk after I said this. "You have a- are you insane?" blurted out. "You broke into Hosu's most popular news channel to send Japan a message!? Do you know how many Heroes are on their way? You're in the middle of the city!". "Yeah!" The male anchor chimed in, seemingly getting a rush of defiance, if just barely. "You won't get away with this! There's no way the three of you will fight your way out!". Ugoka grabbed him by the collar from the front of the desk. "Now listen here little man! You think I can't? Do you even know who I am!?" The anchor gave him a horrified look and stood up "Unhand him!" She yelled as she slammed her hands on the desk. "Ugoka, calm down." I told him I said as I calmly raised a hand.
He put the anchor down and I started to talk to both of the anchors. "See that's the thing, of course the heroes will come." The anchors gave me a confused look as I said this, I started to pace in front of the desk. "Y-you want them to?" the male anchor asked with a trembling voice, still shaken up from his encounter with Ugoka. I took a deep breath with my hands clasped together, I then paused as I looked at him and asked "What's your name sir?". "H-Hirto, Hirto Rikoro.". "Well , we're today's main event in the city!" He gave me another confused look, Ugoka let out an audible scoff and Omiora raised an eyebrow. "Let me explain, This isn't a petty bank robbery, we aren't a group of cutpurse's either. We're in the middle of town, "Threatening" some apparently very well known people, and you yourself said lots of heroes are going to show up. Who on earth wouldn't be watching this right now?" I continued as I started to continue my pacing. It looked like Hirto wanted to say something, but was tripping over his words. "Why else would you still be on air?" I accused with a sarcastic smile, now looking at Hina. "You wouldn't dare let your viewers miss a second of this would you? I bet you can't wait for the heroes to waltz in here and take us out!" I added theatrically, raising my arms in the air. "But I'm getting ahead of myself. I came here to send a message to Japan.". "Finally." Ugoka quietly remarked as I used my quirk to pick up and move the two anchors away from the desk, Hina started to walk back once she was put down but Omiora interjected saying "For your own good, I'd suggest just waiting...I promise we won't be here much longer.". Hina stopped but shot a look at me, I promptly ignored it and proceeded to start my speech.
"Now, where was I? Ah yes, greetings! Welcome to Doragmessen news! I'll be your host today!" I said as jovial as possible, once again extending my arms out in a presenting fashion. I could tell Ugoka was getting annoyed, Omiora seemed to be enjoying the performance though. I then took off my balaclava revealing my face, shocking most of the people on set. "Kyokia Matchigaten!". "You're that kid!" Hirto Blurted out as he pointed at me. "The one who fought the UA students, we just did a story on you! We-". "Yes that's me." I interrupted him with a wave of my hand, unamused and uninterested on the topic. "You know that whole situation shed some light on a few things for me. How perhaps the world isn't just black and white. Perhaps heroes and villains aren't exactly what we thought they were." Hina once again started walking towards us but this time Hirto held her back. Ugoka looked at them threateningly and Omiora lightly smacked him in the arm, scolding him. "It's most certainly true that all heroes aren't as they're depicted to be…" I started again "So certainly the same can be said about villains! I know there are some of you out there who want a second chance at life, maybe it was a spur of the moment, a mistake you made, whatever it was it landed you as a permanent villain, but not anymore!" I gave a confident smile to the camera and heard Hina yell "You're deluded by grief!". I once again ignored her and motioned Omiora and Ugoka to come on screen.
"If you're looking for help with this, come to us!" With this Omiora and Ugoka took off their balaclavas, once again shocking everyone. "Come to LOGIC! The League Of Groundlessly Identified Criminals!" Hirto laughed and said "That's why you're here? You really think anyone's going to bother showing up? That's hopeless!". "That is up to them." I retorted, flashing a threatening smile. "If you want to find us, ask our esteemed underworld community! If you make it to us, my associates and I will do everything we can to ensure your life is returned to you, that's a promise." I sat up and suddenly a group of people burst in the door. "The local heroes…" Omiora notified us. "And their police buddies." Ugoka added. I looked at the group of people, the studio's crew cheered, and informed us of our impending doom. A hero stepped in front of the rest "Surrender villains! This whole "LOGIC" thing ends now!" He said assertively. "Hmm...It appears we've overstayed our welcome." I remarked and looked at Ugoka and Omiora with a nod. "Lets go." With that I projected a blast of telekinetic energy, blasting everyone into the walls or generally away excepting Ugoka and Omiora who had ducked. As I did this Omiora threw the cylinder in front of us and Ugoka pressed the button, about a second later the portal opened and we jumped inside.
