Izuku rushed at me in an attempt to give me no time to defend. I quickly shot out a wave of telekinetic energy, which sent him flying away. Unlike anyone I faced, Izuku really knew me. He knew my flaws, my strengths, and most importantly...all he needed was one hit. "Please just give up!" He yelled as he charged at me again. Before he could reach me I formed a barrier in front of me, it appeared that he predicted this as he jumped up in no time. He didn't predict that I could move the barrier however, as he descended attempting to kick me he landed on the barrier now above me. He let out a "wha-" before I used the barrier to engulf him, and slam him into the ground. Strategically this would be an opportune time to attack him, it appeared that Yamiaka agreed seeing as he said "Now's your chance!". But I simply couldn't, not to Izuku. Izuku got up and looked at me, his face read anger, and desperation. I shot a burst of small telekinetic energy balls at his general direction, he dodged them. I shot another volley and he dodged them again, he was getting closer. I prepared to dodge his attack, he threw several kicks which I quickly dodged and eventually I ripped a chunk off the ground and threw it at his direction again…I realized I couldn't bring myself to attack him directly. It slammed into Izuku and knocked him a bit off balance so I lifted him using telekinesis and slammed him into the sidewalk lining the park, the same sidewalk we walked countless times, after that I lifted the bench and once again threw it at him, it slammed it into him as soon as he got up, knocking him down again. "Surrender" I half ordered, half pleaded. Izuku didn't say anything, he got up and breathed heavily. He leapt at me attempting to kick me, I formed a small barrier, and grabbed his foot with it once it almost reached my face. I used his momentum and swung him in the direction of a tree with my quirk, effectively throwing him into said tree. Izuku jumped into the tree, a surprise to be sure. Then a branch went soaring in my direction. I dodged it but the branches just wouldn't stop, I lifted the tree and saw Izuku jump out of it, he then kicked the tree and it soared in my direction. I was confused, it took a lot of power to knock something out of my grasp, was he really that strong with the quirk already? Instead of trying to dodge or block the tree, I sent a few bursts of telekinetic energy and split the tree in half before it reached me. The tree crashed beside me and Izuku soared through the air in my direction with yet another kick. I lifted myself high into the air, dodging his attack. "That's enough." I declared. I was thankful we were in the park, it was a large park and I felt if we were anywhere else this fight would have gathered attention. In any case however, I had to end this showdown. I lifted the tree's and ripped more dirt and branches at him, anything I could throw at him I threw. Eventually I resorted to firing blasts of telekinetic energy at him as well…it hurt to actively attack him, but I pushed on…people were depending on me. Izuku dodged quite a bit, but he simply wasn't fast enough. He got hit by one and things got worse from there, until a chunk tree finally hit him. He fell on the ground, I beat him and all it took was the equivalent of a tornado. I was concerned for my friend, but it was obvious we were fighting all out, it had to be done. "Izuku?" I asked slightly concerned. "Are you ready to give up?". Izuku knelt there, green electricity flashed around him. I backed away a bit and heard him yell. "I'm not done!" He charged at me again, this time it was faster however, to the point where I had to solely focus on defense. He kicked, I dodged, He kicked again, I dodged, he just kept getting faster! I eventually formed a small barrier to block his kicks with my hands. The barrier stayed near my hands as it blocked kicks, I barely had any time to react, until finally the barrier shattered.

Izuku's kick hit me dead on, I felt my energy drain from me and went flying due to the sheer power and speed of the kick. I landed on the ground, this wasn't good but was good at the same time...the power of that quirk, it could most certainly win us the war if I could get my hands on it. "Sir you must get up!" Yamiaka encouraged me. I shook my head and muttered. "It's over…". I looked at Izuku, who's just staring at me. I couldn't beat him, not in this state. I didn't come prepared, I should've come prepared. But here I was, lying in the grass. I attempted to get up, but ended up falling to my knees from exhaustion. I had one good wave of energy left in me, but I was finished. "You were…" I started, out of breath. "Stronger than I thought." I coughed a bit after saying that, which seemed to gain Izuku's attention. "You're hurt Kyokia, I don't want to hurt you anymore. Please, ju-just come peacefully." I laughed a bit at that, he was treating me like a wounded animal completely at his mercy. "You-" My words were interrupted by my coughing, once I regained myself I said "You know I can't do that Izuku.". Izuku stared at me with a saddened expression for a few seconds before he said. "You're coming with me whether you like it or not Kyokia." He started walking towards me, If he got right to me I could use the last bit of energy I had left to send him flying and knock him on his ass, which would give me time to activate the portal. "Heh, what are you going to do? Carry me to prison?" I asked sarcastically, although a plan was forming…I was still pissed off. Once I escaped I had to gather power, if Izuku was this strong I simply had to become stronger. "Carry you to a hospital." Izuku stated as he walked over to me. "Where I'll be arrested." I retorted coldly. Izuku stopped walking, he was almost here and seemed to be in thought. "You'll get the help you need, I'll make sure of it." Now he was treating me like I needed help, it pissed me off MORE…but strangely comforted me at the same time. Even now, he was still looking out for me. But that confused me, I tried to hurt him, hell I tried to kidnap him just now...It was only fair for me to wonder why. "Why?" I bluntly asked. "Why are you so...nice?" I looked at him, with some tears. "Why do you care!?" I all but yelled. Izuku looked like he wanted to say something but I kept going. "Our friendship doesn't mean anything anymore!" I yelled at him, catching him off guard. "I ruined it! I've done all these terrible things, I just tried to kidnap you...why do you care!?". We stared at each other, tears still streaming down my face. "...Because you were always there for me." Izuku finally said. "Because you were practically my only friend for who knows how long.". I looked at him dumbfounded, still tearing up. "Because I promised Mugiti I wouldn't give up on you.". I was taken aback now, that was what they talked about in the hospital? She made him promise to-...promise. I remembered. "Now would be a good time to make your retreat sir." Yamiaka suggested to me, little did he know I had just the plan in mind. "I made a promise too…" I said solemnly. "And I'll do what I can to keep it." I threw down the canister and pressed the clicker in one motion. The portal quickly opened up, and I heard Izuku yell "Not happening!" I used what little power I had left to send him flying as far away as I could. After that I all but threw myself to the portal. "Kyokia!" I heard Izuku yell as I flung myself through the portal.

When I reached the other side Omiora, Ugoka and Seishika were present, I landed in the conference room. Seishika started by saying "Well welcome back ki-" But stopped when he saw the condition I was in. "Holy shit!" he said as he jumped up from his chair in alarm. "Kyo you okay!?". Omiora all but screamed as she rushed to me. "What happened!?" She yelled. She helped me up as Ugoka made his way to me. "Progress…"I said out of breath. "What?" they said in unison. "I was correct." I started. "If I can figure this out...we'll win this war…". The three of them looked at each other. "Well that's great and all." Ugoka said. "But you have to rest." I wrapped my arm around his holder and he led me to my bed. Luckily I had no actual damage done per say, just exhausted. I all but crashed into my bed with only one thought before I quickly drifted to sleep. "I need to find my uncle.". I woke up to Yamiaka repeatedly saying "sir?". I got out of bed, still in my trench coat. And looked at him. "Sir I woke you up because you didn't set an alarm." Yamiaka said to me. "Thanks man." I said with a sigh. "Always sir." he said as he disappeared. I looked at the radio in the corner of my room, the one I hadn't used in the past few days. I felt sad that I didn't talk to my uncle a lot but I had things to do, now I needed to ask him for a contract. I picked up the radio and turned it on. "Uncle, are you there?" I asked. I waited a few moments before hearing his voice. "Hey kiddo, what's up?". "I need to make a contract." I stated. "Okay." Uncle Kiyaka said...but not from the radio, he was now sitting on my bed. "How did you-". "My contracts are powerful, kid." Uncle Kiyaka stated. "I've gained quite a few quirks in exchange for riches, or success." "...I see." I said, remembering what he said during that fateful night at dinner. With that Uncle Kiyaka looked at me and asked. "So what's the contract Kyo?" and with that he snapped his fingers and a piece of parchment appeared. "I need power." I said bluntly, I trust you have a way to supply that? Uncle Kiyaka looked at the ground. "I have one way…" he said. "But it'll take a lot of work before it's safe to use." I looked at him and asked "What do you mean?". "I'll give you a...lab, in a way." He started. "You'll be able to make a stim, or a needle there. If you fill it with someone's DNA you'll gain their quirk, don't worry it won't take it away from them but at the same time you'll only have it temporarily." He said. That was no short of amazing. What If I used this after I gained Izuku's quirk? I could put my blood in and effectively make all of LOGIC all powerful, we really would be unstoppable. "Go on." I said. "You'll be able to teleport to the lab, and back to where you teleported from. But it'll take a few seconds and nothing can interrupt your concentration, otherwise it won't work." Uncle informed me. "Anything on you or anyone you touch will travel to and from with you.". "You said it would take a while before it was safe to use." I reminded him. Uncle gave a grave look. "If you use that stim incorrectly, you will immediately die."

That confused me. "What?" I asked in disbelief. "There is a rubik's cube like structure." uncle continued. "You have to...complete it. The closer it is to being completed the longer you'll be able to survive using the stim, but only once it's completed will it be completely safe to use.". "How hard is this magical rubik's cube?" I asked with a bit of sass, I thought the idea of a "Magical rubik's cube" was ridiculous. "One hundred by one hundred, per side." Uncle said. So that was a pain to hear, but what he was offering was amazing. If I could solve this rubik's cube I'd be able to give myself god knows how many quirks and eventually be able to do the same for everyone else in LOGIC. "A few more things." Uncle Kiyaka continued. "Only you can interact with the cube, so don't try to bring anyone else to do it." That sucked but I continued to listen. "Lasty, the less quirks in the stim the more powerful they will be." He said, So having a few quirks in the stim would be good, I needed to find the best quirks I could and add them to it. "This could be quite to your liking." Yamiaka said to me, It was funny. I expected Uncle Kiyaka to have some sort of quirk to see something like Yamiaka, but that wasn't important. "I'd sign it sir." Yamiaka encouraged me. "Where do I sign?" I asked uncle, bolstered by Yamiaka's support. I signed the contract and Uncle said "To teleport to and from, Just turn your hands into fists. Bump them together and form an x with your arms." He then demonstrated. It was somewhat silly but I nodded. Uncle gave me a hug and I quickly returned it. "Thanks Uncle." I said to him. "Be careful." Uncle Kiyaka said to me, he then let go and...melted? I looked in disbelief as he melted away before me. "Sorry kiddo, that was a quirk not me." he said through the radio faintly. "I was there per say, just more so of a temporary teleport. Gotta take a nap now cause that quirk takes a lot outta me.". "Sir are you okay?" Yamiaka asked me as I stared at the puddle for a few seconds after my Uncle stopped talking, I just looked at him. "Yamiaka I just watched my uncle melt in front of me...never better." I joked. I walked out to the conference room and saw Omiora and Ugoka, they were talking but stopped and looked at me. "Hello Kyokia, are you well?" Omiora asked me. "I've...made a breakthrough...in a way." I said. "Gather the Ace's." After about ten minutes everyone was there, "What do you have to show us?" Hatsu asked. I paused and thought of how on earth to explain this to them, then Uncle's words rang in my mind. "Let me show you, everyone grab hold of me." It was somewhat awkward but we ended up getting ready. I did the arm sign and everyone gave me a strange look. "...Kyo?" Ugoka asked me, probably thinking I was insane. After a few seconds a whoosh could be heard and we were teleported to the lab.

Everyone was more or less surprised to say the least. "What the hell is this place!?" Uta said looking around. "How'd we get here?" Senbona blurted out. "Dude?" He asked me, it felt weird. Being called "dude." Made me feel like a kid again, but I had no time for that. "Courtesy of Uncle Kiyaka, welcome to the lab." I declared to them all. "Here I'll be able to make stim's, and give people copies of other people's quirks for a limited time.". "Not much of a lab." Hatsu commented. All you got is this table to make the stims, this monitor and… that." She pointed to a large Rubik's cube, it surprised me when I saw it floating but It was something of Uncle's, I shouldn't have been surprised. "It matters not, did you hear what Kyokia said?" Uta asked everyone. "I sure did!" Kojin said, but this time he had no beer with him, he left it in the conference room. "He can give people other quirks.". The Ace's murmured. "Wait…" Uta said looking at the ground, then looked at me. "Is that what all that was about earlier? A quirk?" She was talking about All mi- no. Izuku's quirk. I couldn't let them find out. "No." I said calmly. "This was originally intended to be a means to an end for getting the game changer." I said. It wasn't a complete lie, I was using this to try and borrow Izuku's quirk. Uta nodded and said "Well, shouldn't we get started distributing quirks?" That was never something I expected to hear. "We can't I'm afraid, see that Rubik's cube like structure?" I said pointing to the cube. Everyone looked at it. "Until it is solved It'll be fatal to use the stims." I revealed. "Come now, let's go back.". Everyone grabbed a hold of me and Kojin all but rushed to the conference table where his beer resided. We sat down and agreed upon a plan. I would do what I could to solve the puzzle and have a radio to be paged on if I was needed. I felt bad not being there to lead but this was necessary, Even if I didn't get Izuku's quirk...These stims could possibly make up for that.
